I went for checkup and cleaning. The dr. was very cooperative and asked me to take an appointment for cleaning as it was already 7 PM. When I came to front desk, the so called manager (Not Keisha) is so unprofessional and rude to talk. She gives me a bill for $4000.00 with a list and tells me only after I get all these done will do the cleaning. Never experienced 4000$ expenses to start cleaning. I will give a zero star.

The staff took great care of my 4 year old. Reassuring and praising him as they cleaned his teeth.

Dr. Dean is awesome!! She listens to you and reviews the information before beginning a treatment. Then she is very kind and gentle, explaining everything to you as she performs the work!! She is wonderful and I highly recommend her to everyone!! I drive an hour to see her because she’s that good!!

We would have gone somewhere else long ago if I hadn’t paid for two sets of braces upfront. Slow appointments, difficulty in scheduling, poor Ortho work imo, and tediously lagging timelines for braces that should have been off by now based on initial timelines given.

I love Dr Dean! I have an extreme fear of dental work. All the staff has had great bed side manner and Dr Dean was extremely patient and talked me through my procedures which were no cake walks.I will definitely go back for maintenance and future work.

Dr. Dean and her assistant were amazing. They were very thorough and transparent. I can’t thank Dr. Dean enough for the experience it really was the best experience I’ve had with any dentist ever. They will take good care of you there. 10/10

I was never seen, I canceled my appointment. Part of this could be fault of miscommunication of my insurance. Regardless, I felt like when I was explaining the information with the receptionist over the phone we kept going in circles. When I asked for back up plan, she just kept repeating the same thing. I understand she’s just doing her job but I just didn’t feel heard at all. Then she abruptly hung up, clearly annoyed. They were nice when I scheduled the initial appointment and when I canceled it. But I just didn’t feel heard and so I don’t feel comfortable being seen here.

Everyone was so wonderfully nice, patient and professional; they worked through lunch due to some time constraints I had and did so with a 😊 Cant thank you enough, it was so greatly appreciated!!!

Last year I had to come in for tooth pain that was pretty bad. Even as a new patient they took me right in and took care of me even through the covid changes. Everyone I have come in contact with in this office has been very nice and the girls up front make you feel like old friends. Very sweet staff. Highly recommend this office.

I rarely ever do reviews, but I had a great experience as a first time patient at Monarch Dental. Mrs. Kesha , the office manager is great, she went over everything with me as far as my treatment plan me and took her time explaining things. Dr. Malik was also very kind. I have a lot of dental issues going on , and she was more than willing to help come up with a plan in order to get my teeth back right! I know it’s going to be a long journey but I’m glad I chose their team to do it with !

I went to Monarch Dental in preston road,Frisco.My experience was really frustating.I took risk of going for cleaning during this pandemic situation.But i just wasted my insurance visit.They didnt do even normal cleaning saying that they can do only deep gum cleaning which will charged me $263 out of my pocket.I never had such problem in past.

I had a great experience with Monarch Dental staff. I made an appointment and was able to get scheduled within 2 weeks. The staff was excellent and made me feel at ease. They went over my plan of care with me and helped me understand my options for treatment. Everyone is friendly and I’m so happy to have found such a great Dental team.

I had two crowns and 4 fillings done on 11.26.19 that took five hours total in the dentist office. One of my crowns popped off, and I had to return today to get it replaced. I have been waiting for an hour so far, and there are three patients total here. The cost is very high, and my only reason for coming here is its close to my house. The receptionist Kesha is very nice and friendly so that’s a plus, but I don’t think I will be returning after this.

I really enjoy going to this practice. Dr. Malik is so gentle and really cares about her patients and their dental health. Shes very thorough and always patient in answering any questions I may have. The staff is also very friendly! You will not regret scheduling your visit here

Every time I come to the Frisco office, the office manager Alfred and his staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. I am always greeted and they are always smiling. There always seems to be good organization and order. I would recommend Monarch Dental, Frisco for a visit. Also, Gloria, one of the staff members is very welcoming as well as the front desk, Haley. Everyone there is very nice.

Great service and care from the front desk to the doctors and the entire staff as a whole. I have been a patient of Dr.Malek for a couple of months all I can say she is a perfectionist in her field and she always insures that a procedure is done exactly right. I know it doesn’t come any better than that!

Dr. Malik is amazing. I have never met any dentist who explains in so much detail. Very impressed. She has a great sense of humor and puts her patients at ease. No compromise on quality of work. I highly recommend her.

They are truly crook. Stay away from this dentist and people. I went for a regular dental cleaning. They tried to overcharge me with a wrong diagnose. They said that I have peritonal disease and I need a deep cleaning. They would not touch my teeth before I pay additional $640. Staffs are very unprofessional and rude. Please read all the reviews before going to this clinic. I would take my dog to this clinic. I made mistakes not reading the reviews posted prior to visit to this clinic.

Im so much tensed with the issues going on with billing of $200.00 to monarch dental as Ive rescheduled my surgery once but as I came to know through my manager a day before surgery only that weve an urgent meeting with business executives at my work which overlaps with my appointment and hence requested Patricia, the assistance for doctor Charles, to reschedule for this last time as I cant go for the surgery but she was too rude and rigid and not trying to help me much and told me that Ill loose my $200 deposit which was charged earlier to hold appointment (PS: Never heard of any dental company charging you just for booking appointment) even if I want to reschedule and will charge me again for holding it. She said monarch dental cant reschedule an specialist appointment if not communicated 48 hours prior or if its been rescheduled more than once and these conditions were not communicated to me earlier when paying for it, the communication I got that I can reschedule if Ive a genuine concern irrespective of the number of times and can be communicated one day prior to surgery. Thats so frustrating. Looks like this dental company cares about just making money not patients genuinely

The worst place to get dental cleaning or Ortho treatment. Management tricks people into useless services to charge them more.In my Ortho treatment, they completely bungled insurance filing with my insurance provider and now keep on sending me remaining balance letters.I called and emailed them many times for resolution but they dont do anything about it but keep on sending me letters..

My dentist seemed young and intelligent, but not too interested in more than doing the job. My radiologist hardly spoke to me (communication barrier perhaps?) My hygienist never told me what the white stuff left caked to my teeth was. The whole experience was lackluster. Ill be finding another dentist for my family.UPDATE 11/1/2017The owner has since contacted me regarding my poor visit, and has ensured me I will not have the same experience again. I guess their main dentist was out as well as their main hygienist. I havent fully decided if I will be returning in 6 months, but I was a good gesture.

Monarch Dental is the absolute worst dental practice I have ever been to. After taking my three children there and being treated there myself, I can safely recommend NO ONE ever should go there. First, if youre a decent parent, beware that they give kids happy juice before filling cavities.Seems like a very antiquated and old-fashioned pediatric dental practice. They make the child drink the juice and wait one hour (in a dirty and very uncomfortable waiting room) until it takes effect. Then, they will absolutely try an up-sell adults by telling them repeatedly that they have gum disease, when, in fact they do not. I sat in the chair and argued for 25 minutes with the technician while she tried to convince me my gums were diseased so she could charge me double for the cleaning. She pointed out my red, inflamed gums while holding a mirror in front of my face. I stared at my very normal looking, healthy pink gums. Eventually she gave in and did the regular cleaning, but was nasty about it. Finally, they charge $25 per patient for transferring x-rays to a new dentist. They are desperately looking for ways to charge people money for anything they possibly can. If youre considering going there, turn back!

The service is amazing. They are always ready to help and work with you to meet your needs. The staff is polite and friendly. They are willing to see you even at another location when needed. The wait time is never long .

Heads up to the most wonderful dental experience I have ever had. The whole office group was such an awesome experience. Made me feel so special. The hygienist Roya did such an outstanding job on my teeth and what an outgoing smiling personality. Totally felt like family atmosphere.

Incredible Staff

I can only speak for the orthodontist team, but they are on point. The doctor definitely knows what she is doing. I transferred to this location from one in the Houston area and can not be happier with the care provided.

They were very friendly and professional. They were short staffed and tried to reach me to reschedule, but I didnt get the message until after my appointment. They were able to get me in and out quickly with a back up plan! The dentist was great!

The dentist took her time to explain the problem areas around some teeth. She was very thorough and even used a camera to take a picture of a tooth to show me exactly what she was talking about. The staff is very friendly and patient.

Staff was friendly, office was clean but I made an appointment for my 4 year old and the Dr sees her and tells me they don’t specialize in children, I’m sure by her date of birthday they knew she was a child. They sent me to another location (25mins away), I arrived there and the Dr sees her and tells me she only uses gas to work on kids and my child is too young and would rather her go somewhere else to get her work done so she could be put fully to sleep......... waisted my time all day, to be told this. Absolutely no help, I will never be coming back to any Monarch Dental office again. Extremely disappointed, Thankfully I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket because my insurance covered it, free money for them....

Went to Monarch for the first time. They told me I needed extensive dental work and that I couldnt even get a regular cleaning since my gums were measured at a 4 and 5 level with their periodontal probe. I knew this couldnt be right as I have beautiful teeth and have had very little dental work needed in my entire life. As soon as I left the office, I changed my Dentist to Plano family modern dentisty Dr. Nguyen. I did not immediately tell him the reason that I was there as I wanted to see what his opinion was. He looked at the x-rays and said my teeth were beautiful and that I just needed a cleaning. I walked in thinking I needed $3,000 worth of dental work because of the crooks at Monarch and ended up finding out that my teeth were great. I am still trying to figure out how the periodontal probe Monarch used to measure my gums were at mostly 4 and 5 level and when Dr. Nguyen measured them, they all came in at a 1, 2 or 3. :-). DO NOT GO TO MONARCH DENTAL!!!

This was the worst dental experience I have ever had. Almost all the people there are rude and dont know how to communicate. They made me go through unexpected procedures and at the end the Doctor said Oh I cant do this. This was very frustrating, a complete waste of my time and I ended up with nothing. The Doctor does about 10 percent of the work and the tech does the rest. I went to Monarch because of the high star rating, but I recommend not to trust the stars. I wouldnt even recommend my worst enemy to go here, and now I have to find a place where people actually know the work.

The staff at Monarch Frisco is awesome. Theyve been very helpful in getting appointments rescheduled when necessary on multiple occasions. Recently the staff realized my son was there for an ortho appointment late one afternoon and returning early the next morning for his dental check-up. The front desk employee went and spoke w/ the dental staff and immediately got my son worked in while we were already there saving us another trip the following morning! This location has done a lot of positive things in 2016 and will continue to be our provider for all dental needs!

I have had an extremely frustrating, time-consuming, costly experience with this facility. This is actually the second issue I had with crown here but decided to try again. This last time, I went in for a crown in early July/2016 - letting the dentist know upfront that I would be leaving for overseas for an extended period of time due to help care for a family member who had cancer and has since passed away. I paid promptly and in full for the procedure. In short, after 2 months, several visits - 5 shots of anesthesia once - repeated procedures and 3 tries at getting the final crown fitted - the mold/temporary and final ones kept cracking and/or breaking which then required a do-over. In the meantime, my date to travel overseas was approaching. After being told that I would get the crown on time and almost not, on the day before my departure, I went in for a fitting only to have the crown crack again when was being fitted. I ended up having to travel with a temporary one. As of today, Jan./16, I have had other issues with the tooth - infection/pain/work redone by different dentists/additional time and expenses- and the issue is not totally solved yet. Have since requested refund and still waiting. Have been patient but very disappointed and frustrated. It did not have to be this way.

AVOID AT ANY COST, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND ANOTHER PRACTICE, ONE STAR IN THIS CASE IS EXTREMELY OVERRATING IT: This place is absolutely atrocious. Receptionist dont know how to talk to people, they are all about figuring out how to get you in and charge you more. We get quoted $295 and just before the surgery (which my wife fasted for), they ask for $420 because they have to charge for oxygen during the surgery which insurance wont cover. Please dont tell me these people are not professional enough to think oxygen will be needed during surgery ahead of time. This is not the first time they did the same thing with her cleaning on previous occassion. They always add something at the end that insurance wont cover. You can bet, I will be making a call to insurance agency to look at these peoples claim much more closely.The appointment was at 9:30 and patient before us was taken in at around 10:45. She was taken in at around 12:15 for her surgery. When I tried talking receptionist, instead of being apologetic she had guts to say you have to think about this, this is not a cleaning appointment this is a surgery. You have to account for more time. I understand surgery takes more time but the fact that she called us in at 9:30 and were not even able to get us in till 12:15 is just sheer lack of planning and respect for anyones time. There was only one patient going through surgery and he went in at 10:45, so for these people to call us at 9:30 was brainless.Needless to say, we will be looking for new dentist and will certainly be recommending to our friends and family and whoever else we can to avoid this place.

I am a dental phobic person. Dr. Malik assured me I could do this without gas or medication. She was right. Her staff was gently and caring. She explained everything and comforted me throughout some major dental work. Excellent service and care!

My wife had her wisdom teeth appointment scheduled and we ended up having to wait 2+ hours in waiting room. They also would not allow me to go back with her before procedures starts. To top it all off, they did not explain anything! They slapped a big paper packet on my lap and told me to read it. I’m not a picky person, but this was just terrible customer service. They are looking to cash out and not keep long term customers.

I was VERY skeptical of visiting and getting my teeth checked, but I must say the experience was extraordinarily nice. Dr. Malik and her team did an excellent job of attending to me and making sure I was comfortable and informed throughout the process. What stands out is the attention to detail, explanation of the procedure and the personalized treatment. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Malik and her team for your dental needs.

Added extra fees which were unnecessary, the reason I know is I went to Vlad private dentistry and they dont charge those fees. They also didnt say I needed 4 fillings like monarch claimed. Vlad uses special laser technology to find fillings which is much more accurate

This is the best cleaning I have had in years!!! Normally I’m jumping out of the chair because of my sensitive teeth. The water temperature was just right!!!

I have EXTREME dental anxiety and was just a mess when I came in for just an exam for a problem tooth I was having. When the dentist came in to examine me I burst into tears.. However, Dr. Azeem was the absolute best she was so sincere and understanding! Im, so very thankful for her and not making feel ridiculous for being a grown woman crying like a child lol.

Hands down! best dental office in Frisco. The front staff Scott and Illeana are very understanding and went above and beyond to answer my insurance questions. Felt like a shakedown. Wouldnt even honor One Smile plan that I signed up for through Monarch. Im supposed to get 69.00 cleanongs, but qioted 180 + anoghea 400 for other.... Said I needed antibiotics which added to cost. My moms dentist said she charges 35. Total con job and walked out

Unfortunately, this office has changed and is a complete mess when it comes to service, organization, scheduling, etc. Now go to another dentist. Thank goodness my insurance changed to accommodate the change.They forgot they set my appt. and I waited an hour and had to ask when I would be seen. They told me to go have lunch and come back in an hour. Sorry.After that, they forgot an appt. scheduled for my husband. He sat there his entire lunch hour and had to leave. They again said sorry. Noticed another huge turnover in the back.

From the dentist visit to ortho, this office is very professional and helpful and I can always count on them to keep me informed on what going on from my regular visits to every little detail of my treatment plan for braces. Dr. Parks is very friendly and reliable and I truly feels she cares about her patients and their well being when it comes to dental/ortho. She is very approachable and understanding, I would recommend her to everyone for their dental needs. Also Kamesha is very helpful, she always makes sure my visits are excellent and I know exactly whats next on my treatments and that I leave each visits satisfied and no questions.
