The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The doctor was very thorough and explained everything. I am from out of town visiting and the office staff went out of their way to get me in right away. Great experience.

It was so hard finding a Dr that services special needs individuals. I have a 7 year old son that is Autistic and speech impaired. I did research and found vision advancement. My sons appointment was this morning and I must say Dr. Berry is a blessing. We had a great experience and my son was very comfortable. She worked so well with my son . I was really amazed and happy that I found this place. The staff was very friendly and all were so understanding. I highly recommend vision advancement. Dr. Berry thank you once again 🙏🏼

I have been on the hunt for a doctor who sees patients with special needs. Even though they are out of network with my insurance, I decided to schedule anyway. Let me say… I am so happy I found them.My son is on the spectrum, nonverbal, and has anxiety when it comes to doctor visits. Dr. Berry was very understanding of my sons needs, she is amazing and very patient. I will definitely be coming back.

I had my first visit to Vision Advancement Center today and the experience was great!The online pre-registration process worked well, which expedited my check in process - the staff was professional and attentive.Dr. Berry came out to greet me right on time, she was very collaborative throughout the exam and provided me with great feedback; very patient centric!Lastly, the office was very clean and convenient, located on the DNT in Frisco.

We have absolutely loved working with Dr. Berry. We have two non-verbal autistic daughters (age 4) who truly struggle at all doctor appointments. The environment that Dr. Berry and her staff have created at Vision Advancement Center made it very easy for our daughters to walk in and feel comfortable and not break down like they do at other doctors offices. Dr. Berry has been exceptional in understanding our girls needs and helping them to remain calm so that she can do the necessary testing. She was able to identify that our daughters needed special lenses to slow the flow of information from the eye to the brain and it has allowed our girls to maintain better focus and we have seen a rapid increase in their cognitive development since using the glasses. We are truly appreciative of everything that Dr. Berry and her team have done for us and we look forward to working with her for as long as possible! We highly recommend Vision Advancement Center and Dr. Berry!

I went to see Dr. Berry for some concerns I was having with my vision worsening and daily headaches after having brain surgery a year and a half ago due to a neurological condition that was causing me to lose my vision. She performed many tests and explained everything along the way. We had the best conversations and she made me feel like we’ve been friends forever. Not only did she find the correct prescription I needed, she eased my worries about my vision being caused by my condition. I couldn’t have had a better experience!! I will continue to drive more than an hour just to see her for all of my vision needs!!

I had a wonderful experience at Vision Advancement Center! I transitioned to remote work during the pandemic and have experienced eye fatigue from increased computer use. Dr. Berry provided a comprehensive exam and listened to my concerns. She found that I have experienced some vision changes due to the additional screen time. Vision Advancement Center helped me to find stylish frames and made me comfortable with the process as this is my first pair of glasses. Dr. Berry also added a blue light blocker to the lens to help limit eye strain while on the computer. Using these glasses has made a world of difference in my day to day experience working! My daughter had her annual vision exam from different doctor few weeks back but we as a parents were skeptical about the results so we decided to take her to Dr. Lindsays office for another exam. Dr Lindsay was great with kids. She not only used vision equipment to test the eye sight but also went through different techniques to make sure that all her findings are consistent. She took her time to examine the eyes and answered all the questions. In fact, she provided some helpful tips for virtual learning that would put less strain on eyes. We walked out of office with complete satisfaction.I would also like to point out that office staff was welcoming and so was the office environment. They maintained the COVID protocol and kept every thing neat and clean. I would definitely recommend her to friends and families specially if you have kids.

We reached out to Dr Berry after noticing our 9 month old daughter was beginning to show signs of a lazy left eye. Dr Berry was immediately able to confirm our suspicions but quickly put our minds at ease by walking us through why this was occurring in simple terms that we could understand.From there we were provided an extensive list of age appropriate activities and exercises to first begin improving gross motor skills, while then focusing on eye-hand coordination and eye tracking/teaming. We really appreciated how Dr Berry provided us with a creative list of at-home activities that used every-day household items rather than just a list of products to buy. Each progression of focus had various activities such as Cheerio Sorting, Popsicle Sticks in Tubs and Bubble Popping that included basic explanations as to what this would help with and why it was important.Lastly – Dr Berry continues to follow up with us to see how things are going, ready to adapt as needed. It’s clear she genuinely cares and that means the world to us 😊

Smoothest experience Ive ever had at an optometrist or doctors office and general.All doctors can sniff out white coat phobia just by looking at you for half a second and will instantly take off their doctor coat to make you more comfortable.
