My initial experience was great, the customer service is friendly and Im quite happy with the 2 new pair of glasses. However after a few months, on one pair of the glasses I use everyday, the rubber sleeve piece that goes around my ear had ripped and slide off easily sometimes. I brought it back and believe the warranty that comes with the glasses should take care of it easily.The customer service lady has good attitude but she said she wont be able to fix that and she couldnt get me another rubber piece replacement since they dont have that pair of glasses in the store anymore. she offer discount if I get a new pair of glasses. Its only a few months and it doesnt make sense for me to get another pair because a small rubber piece cracked off. Im quite upset they didnt have any generic rubber sleeve they can use on the glasses.The customer service is great but warranty is not.Its a mixed feeling for me. I like the people there but I didnt like the product has problem so soon and it cannot be resolved.

So quick and easy to get exam, contacts, and glasses! This is my second time visiting my eyelab and I will definitely be coming back next time. Brianna was so much help in giving her honest opinion and seeing what best fits my budget as a college student!

They sent an email stating that my pair of glasses is ready.I went there after a day to learn that its not available in this store.By over-sight it was sent to wrong store; and after few days it arrived here.When I asked them to ship it to my home, they denied it. I tried to reason with them that they made a mistake; its fair to make it up to the customer by shipping the glass to the customer.I suggested that instead of sending it to Frisco store, send it to my home; but they wouldnt listen.I informed them that I would never set my foot again into this store.

Terrible customer service. They made a mistake with our order and did not take responsibility for messing it up. Instead of calling the rep who sold us the glasses they told us to come back when he works.....unbelievable!!

Just wow!!! I wont lie, I hate going to the eye doctor and especially picking out glasses. This place however is top notch!! The customer service is outstanding! Its not every place you can go, meet a random person, and feel as if you are family within a matter of minutes!! They are extremely helpful, extremely polite, and just overall wonderful people. I now look forward to anything that comes to my eyes and getting it resolved, thank you!

Terrible experience at this office. I’ve worn contacts for over 15 years, the staff here isn’t customer friendly. I paid for the exam and trial contacts which are custom, however there was miscommunication causing wasted time after being notified my items were in office which they weren’t upon my arrival. After finally receiving my trials a week apart, my left contact did not last 30 days and vision is blurry. The office staff advised they could only order a box instead of replacing the item, which is no cost for them. Unprofessional, bad business, and poor customer service. I will place my order with another company.I also did not receive an eye health assessment, I see a retina specialist so I know this doctor should have told me a few things about my eyes, the doctor is via zoom “telehealth” and staff rushes you right out after. SHOPPERS BEWARE.

What a breath of fresh air this location is. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Serena was the one that helped me out and she was very helpful and patient. She took the time to explain everything as many times as needed until we understood.The testing is done via video conference and THAT particular part was not the best as the lady did everything so fast and she seemed annoyed when I asked to repeat herself and as a result I ended up with the wrong prescription for my contacts, but thats not the fault of the employees of this location who listened to me and did everything possible to make sure I was satisfied.Overall this was MUCH different than the Plano location. I got great discounts and my glasses are awesome. I just wish they had a Spanish speaking person so I could tell my whole family to drive here. Its far for them but the customer service makes it worthwhile.

The prescription I was told was off from what I really needed. The glasses are super cheap material. The lens popped out within an hour of getting them.I’m much happier with my pair of glasses from Warby Parker.

Very helpful and professional staff. Place is big and so many options. Clean place and bright. Eye exam was machine operated and for the first time I got to choose from options for my both far and near sight. I have mono-lens contacts and they work perfectly for me. This was my first experience at any My Eyelab store, and I will make this my regular location for frames and exams in future. The owner (I wish I had asked his name - he was so incredibly friendly) and eye technician, Serena, were very helpful, informative, and accommodating - even helping to provide feedback on frames I was attempting to choose between. The exam was quick, and, altogether, the appointment (including frame selection and payment) took an hour. I am very pleased with my frames, service, and the overall process, and I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for glasses or contacts options with or without insurance.

I was able to get in same day (last minute) for great eye exam. Exam equipment was néw and provided better exam than I’ve had at other optical stores. Staff was friendly and helpful and great turnaround time on getting glasses and contacts. I will definitely come back!

Very helpful team, and made sure everything was sanitized and wiped down to insure my health was a first priority. Exam was done in different way, virtually; which I think everyone should pick up. Afterwards, their team helped me through the glasses process and picking out a frame that worked for me. And the pricing was my favorite. I ended up saving a lot of money. Best first time experience! I would highly recommend going to this eyelab to get glasses for the first time or even the 50 time lol! The staff are great and professional, especially Serena and Brad(or Chad)! During your time there they will make you feel comfortable and aware of what theyre doing. They are also very knowledgeable! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!If I could give 0 stars I would.This place has horrible customer service including the manager. They do not honor their 30 day refund policy if you are not satisfied. I originally came in to the place because my current prescription needed adjusting, they did a video call with the Doctor which clearly was not helpful. The new glasses they gave me were blurry I could not see far away and gave me headaches. I knew as soon as I put them on that it was not my prescription and Sabrina told me that “I should wear them for a week” I came back the next week because they still looked the same. I asked for a refund since it was still within the 30 day policy that they have and do NOT honor the manager said that I could not get it even though I spoke to corporate and they told me to go to the store he stated that “corporate has nothing to do with them!” He offered to remake my prescription again only to find out that it is the exact same prescription as the glasses I currently have and still would not give me a refund so they STOLE $261.00 and we are in a pandemic! I repeat DO NOT GO HERE! I normally do not write reviews but this place is awful.

Like so many others I got the wrong RX. Its almost like you cant examine a persons eyes via zoom. Nothing came up about my corneal scarring or astigmatism. Those are pretty major parts of an RX. The glasses there are also overpriced and if you say youre getting glasses elsewhere youre treated poorly. When my new glasses came in they were WORSE than the old ones and made me dizzy. When I called about this I was told I shouldnt get glasses online. Seeing as Ive used this site for 6 years with no issue. I dont think so. Have an appointment next week with a REAL eye Dr.

Giving one star since the associates in the store are wonderful. Other than that the eye exam is done thru Zoom, I was given the wrong prescription for my 9 year old and now the glasses are of no use. They advertise a 30 day money back guarantee that they dont honor, I got escalated to the franchise owner, who said he doesnt do refunds and he will get the glasses remade and redo eye exam, but they did not do it right the first time, I have no confidence in this company. Please take this review seriously, I am only posting to help other families not be in this situation.

Great experience with Eyelab! The Telemedicine Eye exam was smooth and easy without any communication problems. I felt really safe especially during this Covid times. Prices are definitely reasonable with their selection of glasses. Definitely recommend to come here.

Friendly staff, great prices, huge selection of glasses. For basic prescriptions, this is a great place. I got glasses for my son and wife here within the last 6 months. Free eye exam with purchase is a bonus. The ‘2 for $59’ has a limited selection but the prices on regular glasses, where you still buy one and one free, are very reasonable.Justin and Serena were very helpful and patient in explaining the choices and options.

For some reason they can only see the primary person on insurance and they act like they are too busy to talk with you. But they have enough time to offer you another plan to get into your wallet.

Went in for their special on Progressives (2 complete pairs, frames & lenses & exam) for $99. Since I wear contacts I had exam for those. Picked out my one pair of frames ($29), total cost was $291.50. Went home to think why so expensive, sent email same day for itemized statement of charges. Talked to someone the next day because I wanted to cancel the order due to the price and that it was never explained why the difference in price from the advertised price, in addition, to adding on a $49 anti-glare charge (which I didnt request). He told me I couldnt cancel! I asked him to credit my account for the difference between the $89 contact lens exam and the $291 they charged me. The glasses will not be available until the end of June so I know that they are not in production. Will not recommend this place, if you do go make sure you ask all the right questions & know the costs before you leave. I live on social security and this is a big hit.

I went here for my first ever contact exam and was very pleased. The recommendation for brand/type of contacts was spot on. The contacts are very comfortable on my eyes and they did a great job teaching me how to put them in, take them out and keep them clean. Also got 50% off of 1 pair of glasses. The prescription feels spot on and very comfortable for both glasses and contacts. The service was quick and friendly. My glasses and contacts arrived that same week. I would recommend to everyone.

I am not a review writer. Ive written one review in my life that was requested of me from a friend. However this experience was beyond UNACCEPTABLE. Horrible Customer Service to say the least. My husband went in for a computer RX. A week later received expensive glasses for distance and reading. Even though it wasnt what he asked for he was going to keep the glasses and called to get his RX for computer glasses. His mistake was that he told them he was going to by the glasses somewhere else. After several attempts to get the RX we called again. This time spoke with BRAD RODMAN... Biggest J*rk ever. Asked for the Computer RX AGAIN to be emailed. Confirmed the email. He emailed the receipt. Told him while he was still on the phone it was the receipt and not the RX. Then he said Weve emailed it several times if youre going somewhere else THEY can figure out the RX its simple Math.We will never spend our good hard earned money there ever again.

This was my first time getting an eye exam done. I was connected to a doctor remotely, and she was very patient. The whole remote system was super cool. All the staff were friendly. Shana, the GM helped me get the best price for my glasses, Frida with my frame selection and Serene for walking me through the whole process from the beginning to the end. Unfortunately, my husband’s lenses are not the quality we expected. Since he is past the 30 day full warranty, he’s subject to a 20% copay. The co-pay is reasonable, if there was not a defect in the glasses. We had the opportunity to speak with the franchise owner who when asked his expertise on lenses simply stated he has 17-18 years experience in everything within the walls of the office. However, with further questioning about the quality of the lenses, which show wave like grooves, he stated that my husband did not take proper care of the glasses, used a chemical, and that caused “scratches.” In his expertise, since he’s only seen it happen in those situations, then it must be the same problem that he has seen. There is no way that lenses could be defective. Sad logic coming from an expert of all things within the four walls of his franchise with 17-18 years experience.We asked him if there was any research that would indicate other possibilities, since my husband didn’t use a chemical to clean his glasses. Brad sat back in his chair frustrated and had withdrawn from our line of questioning, stating that “this conversation is going in circles.” So, we left right after they quickly moved another patron to the back. Business is business, we get it. However, good to great businesses consider other possibilities. Thanks for your help, Brad.

Brad is great (owner). Serena and Justin are great! My fiance and I were in need of getting our vision checked before the big day and found this place online. We will be coming back for future appointments and needs. We felt as though the staff was knowledgeable and looking out for our overall eye health. Everyone went above and beyond for customer service.

I came here to get an eye exam and new lenses for my mom. While I was there I ended up getting my eye exam done as well. I didnt have prescriptions going in and thats what I had told the staff. What should have been a red flag immediately is that I was told to select the frames while my results were still pending. As though they had already decided I needed glasses and they needed to sell. This was 4 months ago and I waited to write this review because I did get a second opinion, this time having paid out of pocket because I had used my insurance visit at My Eyelab. Not surprisingly I did not need glasses as was recommended based on the test results here. On top of that the lenses are ludicrously expensive here (almost 3x of what you would pay at Costco for something similar). The lenses I did get from here after they said they would make the price more competitive to the Costco price were actually cheap lenses. My mom could never see through them because they would always smudge easily (never an issue with Costco lenses). I ended up spending more money (less then what I had paid here even after their discounted price they offered to keep my business) and replacing the lenses with high quality name brand lenses and no longer have the problem with the lenses always smudged. Again why I waited months before writing this review because I wanted to be sure it was the lenses were the problem and wanted to get a second opinion before writing a negative review about a business. Waste of money, time and ultimately cause of aggravation. Go to an optician you already know and trust.

I decided to go to My Eyelab because they had same day appointments. Now I think I realize why. This might be great for someone that needs a quick exam and has been wearing contacts or glasses for years.First I was told to pick out glasses while I waited on my exam. I found like 3, and there was only one tiny wall of designer glasses. I get ready for my exam with the General Manager which was a very efficient process. I next go into the exam roof where I realize its completely digital. The optometrist isnt even on site! Im sure this is explained on their website and I didnt see that. Well the exam is performed, and then he says bye. Im next directly herded out of the exam and to a desk on the floor. Im automatically shown like 15 pairs of glasses before any prescription is even given by the doctor. Now, I believe that I need glasses, but how would they know? We get my prescription and no explanation is given. I try on all the glasses and decide Im going to wait. Next, the GM keeps pressuring to buy the glasses today, and offers me a deal. At this point I feel like im buying a car. I end up leaving, to which she ended up getting, what I felt was a slight attitude, after I paid. I ended up leaving and going to somewhere in network and getting Raybans for just about the same price. BUT... I dont think my prescription is correct, as I cannot see clearly out of my left eye still... and I keep reading about an astigmatism, in which I was never told I had, but I feel like I do. I do not feel confident in my exam what so ever, and cant wait until Im eligible for another one with my insurance. I will definitely be going somewhere else!

Please dont fall fall for their 2 for 59 offer. Almost ALL the frames we picked were out of this offer. The ones which were in this offer were cheap quality. The folks at the store are rude when you ask them questions and are under trained. The boss just wants your money, not your business, you might as well just throw some money in charity to these folks as the quality of frames suck. I am guessing going by the extremely negative or extremely positive reviews and none in between, some of these positive reviews are bought and not genuine. I am grateful to god that I took my business elsewhere. Shoppers beware!

From now on, this is the only place I’m going for glasses! What amazing customer service! After my glasses came in, I was having a hard time seeing so Brad took a second look at my specs. He measured all the key points on my glasses and wasn’t happy with what he saw so he insisted on reordering them for free. He also suggested increasing the magnification on my reading prescription. He even contacted his eye doctor (on his day off!!) to confirm the changes.The second glasses worked so much better. Brad’s recommendations were spot on.Brad even took the time to explain how to use my progressive lenses because there is definitely a learning curve. Lol. I am so pleased and happy I found this place!!I had broke my glasses and needed them replaced immediately. So I decided to go My EyeLab and was welcomed by Shana the general manager at this location. She help me with everything, even with choosing the right frame. I still found myself walking out with broken glasses, but not before Brad the owner had offered to see what he could do to fix them. After working a little gorilla glue magic I had glasses that would last me until my new ones arrived. Shana said she will put a rush on my new glasses so that I wouldn’t be waiting for so long and about a week later I was called to pick up my prescription. I really appreciated all the help from the staff and would recommend this place to anyone who are looking for a new place with super friendly and helpful staff to get their prescription glasses.Thank you Shana and Brad for the amazing experience!

I had a great experience at My Eyelab. The moment I walked in I was greeted with warm welcomes. Justin was very kind and patient with me throughout the process. It took me a while to pick out my glasses but Justin waited patiently, offering up suggestions he thought might compliment my facial structure.

My experience was fantastic! I went in expecting to just get my exam done so that I could buy my glasses from Warby Parker. Then one of the workers (I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name) helped me look at my pricing options and went as far as shopping with me to decide the best frames for my face. We went through their entire selection picking out the perfect ones for me. Unfortunately, I found two pair, but the amazing woman added up the total with their 60% off in store discount to be only $150 with the exam, two frames, and two sets of lenses with add-on options included.
