I have been a patient for many years but I don’t feel comfortable with the new changes. The whole time during my exam the dr kept talking about his friend Kim that works there now and how she is the best and to only see her for my glasses. He even talked about him taking Kim on a trip with his spouse and I asked about the other staff going and he said no. (Why????) I have bought many pairs here and Kathy and Araceli have always helped me and I love that they give me honest opinions on what my glasses look like on me and never try to upscale me on things I don’t need. Well I tried to take his advice and let Kim help me, not only was she pushy on selling but she kept telling me that every frame looked great on me. I really just felt like she saw me as a dollar sign and not a person, there was no care there at all. She told me she was putting me in a better lens than I was given before but they were the worst lenses I have ever had. After research I found out that my regular plastic lens had better clarity than any poly. Again this was just a way to make more money. The final decision for me to go somewhere else now happened when I picked up my glasses and I literally observed Kim telling a patient that she had already picked out their frame for them while they were in the exam!!! What?? That is beyond being pushy if I can’t even be allowed to choose what I like!! The only good thing is that I saw Kathy and Araceli are still there and hopefully if you go you let them help you!,, The office was sooo great before but now I feel that the doc and Kim are only taking people’s money and there is truly a lack of care.

By far the best place in the North Texas to get anything eye related done!!!! Everyone was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They actually care about you as a customer, and are not just trying to get you to buy the most expensive frame and lenses package. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Great doctor however unfortunately the rudest staff I have ever seen except one lady.They are like they are sitting to stare at you, and speak the most rudest way possible.Lady at billing counter is the most rudest of all.

I love this place. Great doctor and every time I call or visit they are always so nice. The doctor is the best. I have bad headaches and he was so thoughtful with getting my prescription right and corrected.

The staff is exceptional. The nurses definitely give off the vibe they tryina help. The doctor is so knowledgeable and seems as he is willing to take the time to take care of you. I have had to go back a few times, but they handled everything perfectly. The office is very comfortable and clean. I appreciate everyone here. We will be returning.

I did my research to find a highly-rated optometrist before deciding on Dr. Sylvester. I brought my son in last week for his first appointment and the office really is as good as the previous reviews state! Dr. Sylvester was prompt, professional and friendly. The facilities and staff at the optometrist office are superb. one of the more enjoyable doctors office experiences that I have had. HIGHLY recommend this facility. The doctor took his time, explained every procedure and testing results and all the staff were extremely friendly and a pleasure to work with. They also have the state-of-the-art equipment, negating the requirement to dilate your eyes.

This is one of the best places in Frisco to get your eye exam. We have been using this place for quite a few years. The staff is good and always make you feel welcome. They have extended office hours and even have weekend options.Dr. Sylvester is awesome. He takes time to explain everything to you. He keeps the latest equipment in the office that enables him to give you a detailed picture of your eyes. He is a pleasure to talk to and is genuinely committed to his craft.

Going to this office reminded me of the age old lesson to not judge a book by its cover. The outside doesnt look like much but once you walk in, youll be greeted by warm smiles and a pristine interior. The staff treated me like family even though it was my first visit, and Dr. Sylvester was extremely courteous and took time to explain everything to me. I have been coming to see Dr. Sylvester since I have been in third grade and Im now almost 24 years old. When I came in my vision was awful and now he has almost perfected it to 20/20 if not better!! His staff is always so friendly and welcoming and he himself cares about getting his patients vision corrected. When it comes to getting fitted for contacts or glasses he will try you in multiple pairs to find out what youre comfortable in, that is the main reason Im still a loyal patient is because he takes the time to know his patients and help them get to a better vision perspective! I would recommend him to anyone at any age, and I wouldnt trust any other doctor to handle the care of my eyes!!

Kathy was amazing and helped me find a pair of glasses that would not only frame my face but also made me feel good about the transition from no eyewear to wearing glasses full time. Dr. Richard was so knowledgeable and personable about the eye. There were patients coming in the whole time but I still felt like I was the only one. I’ve learned so much and will bring the whole family in now!

Dr. Sylvester was recommended to me by not one but two co-workers. He definitely deserves the recommendations. I was having vision issues. His extremely through exam discovered the prescription for my distance vision was way too strong. Prior to my new prescription I had been having headaches and was exhausted. New prescription and no more headaches.His staff is efficient, knowledgeable and friendly.

Dr. Sylvester is great! I strongly feel that he is very passionate about helping people see better and that passion makes him a great provider.

I had a puncture from a pine needle to my left eye. I was able to get an appointment within 30 minutes to see Dr. Sylvester. Dr. Sylvester was able to over night a Prokera lens. This is amniotic membrane tissue held between two rings made out of a clear, flexible material. The is lens used promote healing without scaring my cornea. Dr. Sylvester meet me on a Sunday evening after hours to remove Prokera lens. I am forever grateful for Dr. Sylvester care and have made a 100% recovery.
