Came in to get my daughter some reading glasses for schools. I was surprised and relieved that every employee was following cdc guidelines and top of that, the store was very clean and sanitized. My daughter initially didn’t want to go in until she saw employees wearing a mask. We were in there for about 30min because my daughter took her sweet litttle time but Clara, who I believe did an outstanding job, walked my daughter through the whole process effortlessly and made her feel very at ease picking out glasses. It was her professionalism that I haven’t seen in a while from an employee that made me feel safe and welcomed.

Go to this store, trust me!! I was in need of prescription sunglasses the day before a vacation and - 30 MINUTES LATER - I had sunglasses!! Ask for Clara, she was extraordinarily helpful and Tyrone was able to make beautiful custom prescription lenses for me at lightening speed. I will only buy eyeglasses from this store from now on.6/1/20 UPDATE:I wrote my initial review of this store about 8 months ago. Today is 6/1/20. I recently went back to have my lenses upgraded to the antireflectives. The turnaround time was much faster than anticipated, once again. On top of that, my RayBan sunglasses that were made for me eight months ago started to have loosening of one arms (manufacture defect). Tyrone said there was nothing he could do to fix them, so he gave me a brand new frame no questions asked!! These people take care of you, believe me. In a time when there is so much hate and chaos in the world, these sweet people maintain the highest standards of care and professionalism. Shopped here many of times and always have troubles with the sales associates today glasses flew out the window and I can’t see at all. Walked in and was immediately yelled at to stop (once again I can’t see) and then I stopped at this little blue line. Before asking They took My temperature without asking totally against my rights. Then offered me a mask after I had been in the store for 10 minutes without one. I turned around and walked out, as if I would’ve know I wouldn’t have tried to go into the store. I’m shopping online now Zenni and I normally purchase 5 pairs a year since I work outside. Do not violate my rights as a human or yell at me like is child. Even though I may not look it I’m almost 40!!!! Tried to call corporate no answer !

The BEST place to get your glasses. Ive got astigmatism and always wait WEEKS for my glasses to come in but I ordered them Wednesday and they got here Saturday(today)!!! I bought 2 pairs of glasses at the Baybrook Mall location today and would like to thank Clara for all her help. I had a good idea what I was looking for, and she let me browse without being pushy and suggesting pricier frames. When I was ready, she ran my insurance information quickly and offered good advice on not just which frames were the most flattering, but also how to best use my insurance in combination with the in-store promotion to lower my cost. I just missed the pick up time for same day service by the time I had selected my frames, so Clara drove them to the lab herself so I could still get my new glasses today. Every aspect of my transaction at Visionworks Baybrook was positive thanks to Clara.

Good service while I was getting new glasses/script taken care of told me to come back following day at 3 to pick them up. My wife and I get up there for them to tell us they are at another location and for us to go pick them up from that store not even offering to have them brought here like they should of been. Pretty shotty in my opinion, but it is what is. I just wont use this location ever again.

Deceitful; unprofessional, arrogant and a dishonest staff. I purchased my eyeglasses from here, which they took three times to get it approximately acceptable. They kept blaming the physician and the prescription and made me go back to the ophthalmologist at Baylor College who found no error in the prescription. Still I received defective lens replacement. My MD went abroad due to family issues and finally they assigned me the replacement MD. Despite the fact that the physician wrote on the prescription that it was a redo of the prescription, the lady at the store told me that the lens replacement only will cost me $200 additional amount because the prescription revision was late. I requested that she please talk to her manager to at least reduce the amount. She told me that the manager would be coming to store five days later and she would call us. I said that I could wait. No call from the manager, and so I called the store in the afternoon and talked with the alleged manager. The manager told me that the person we dealt with will call me in about half an hour later. Received no call for next three days and so I went to the store. There was NO other customer in the store at the time but the lady kept spending time on her computer for quite a while and totally ignoring us. When I asked what the problem was, she said there is revised cost estimate of $345 additional charge for lens replacement. Surprised, I asked what happened; you had given $200 estimate last week. She replied that since I wanted the manager to get involved this is the new price. So, I asked who the manager reported to and if we could get that person’s contact information. She replied that the manager is the final authority. So, I asked whether this manager owns the store. She said no. So I again asked for the contact phone for next higher level person. This employee gave me the phone number and name of one of the manager’s friend who was NOT the person we were asking for. So you decide if their false promises, tricky coupons, bad quality work, arrogance, and thoroughly deceptive setup is worth buying from this company. This was blatant customer harassment and it shouldnt be faced by anyone.
