I was going to ask my primary doctor to refer me to another place after reading all the negative reviews. It’s too bad that some people have had a bad experience, I just don’t see how that could be given my experiences every time I go. Everyone there is nice and very efficient. Dr. Davies is great as well as her assistant Leticia. Jodi and her assistant are very personable, kind, and on point with scheduling and communication.

Very disappointed with this place. ZERO stars if I was able to. Having the issues I’ve been having with my ears I thought I was in good hands. Shame on me. I was prescribed 2 ear drops took both (because I was told to by the pharmacist) had a bad reaction later was told by the doctor that I was only supposed to take one. HORRIBLE communication. I was never told that, and you should trust your medical professionals right? Called to let his assistant know what is going on, I have yet to get a call back. Unable to drive and live my life regularly. I will not be going back to them.

I called to ask about a referral my primary had sent over and they were incredibly rude. They wouldnt even tell me if they had received it. I only wanted to confirm they had my phone number so that they could call me once they got to it.. just called now after 10 days to be told they gave a 3 week turn around... I had to go to Urgent Care over the weekend, so kind of important to see someone.... do yourself a favor- find another ENT group

I gave one star because its required for the post.we were referred by our primary doctor. I should have read the review before we go(obviously all bad experience ). Staff was rude and inpatient while we made appointment through the phone. We called for directions on the day we went, they just repeat the address and hung up. When we finally got to the office, and we were told doctor will not see the patient because were late! I was like, seriously? They definitely need to work on their customer service if they still want the business.

I was worried to go here given the reviews. I will say we did wait 1 hour and 20 minutes before seeing a doctor. However, the care we received was good. Staff was friendly and effecient. Dr. Titlebaum was knowledgeable and thorough. Overall, it was a good experience but be prepared to wait.

Horrible. Do not recommend. I waited 2+ months for an apt, one. Two, they change my apts multiple times!! July 9 went to 16th. July 16th went to the 30th of July. Then the 30th of July, was moved to 22nd. All bc “the doctor would be out of office” - does he ever work?!Also, they don’t give you options with schedule changes, they just call and give you a day. I work FT, and requested the 30th off in June, I can just jump when they say how high. Not to mention the rude schedulers are. When I told her I had to request that day off (July 30th) since it was set since June 21st, I was told sarcastically “well, I guess you’ll need to ask for another day off, then”. I canceled all together, bc I am certain this scheduling nightmare reflects just how unprofessional this practice is. (I found a local ENT with way better reviews.) keep looking. Don’t settle for this practice if you have the option.

Soooooo frustrating! Don’t make an appt with them because they will cancel and automatically reschedule you for another month out. When do they cancel? 2 days before each appt. I have been waiting since May to get in. When I called to say the re-schedule would not work. She transferred me to the supervisor, which did not answer and her VM was too full to leave message. Then I was automatically disconnected. My suggestion, don’t waste your time, find somebody else.07/26/21 update- just got rescheduled AGAIN. My new appt is now Sept. I sure hope they don’t treat everybody this way.09/01/22 update-I was seen today!!! I was escorted the the children’s side (I’m well into my 50s), I was seen by Dr Lanier, kind fellow. My appt time, from walking in to leaving took about 30 minutes. So weigh your options and decide for yourself what is the best for you.

This place should eliminate appointments and become first come first serve. Thats what the wait feels like. Even when they call you back you still wait in the room additional time for the Dr. Use a different place unless you can spend the entire day for a single appointment.

Unfortunately the customer service was absolutely terrible. Was told a small procedure would take 30 minutes that took over 4 hours with no communication to my ride and rude staff across the board. You’ll be able to immediately tell by your conversation with the receptionist.

Called to make an appointment. The girl who schedules didn’t want to make for me because the patient didn’t have insurance. We know it would be a lot of money and I let her know it was fine. She proceeded to say I couldn’t make an appointment until I spoke to an accountant to let them know the patient doesn’t have insurance. Why do I have to tell them?? Do they not think we can afford it?? I will not be setting an appointment at the place.

This medical practice should be permanently closed. Good patient care and professional service is rare at this place. Furthermore, I’ve read all 55 reviews (this is a 2 Star Rated Medical Practice) and I’m amazed as to how this practice can stay in business. For starters, I had an appointment back in July. They called me the day before my appointment (at the last minute) and rescheduled my appointment to a time that was almost impossible for me to make. Then, I went in to see the audiologist and he told me that I had tinnitus. This is a loud ringing in the ears. There is no medication, there is no cure, there is no reason you have this medical condition and there’s nothing further any doctor or medical professional can do to help you. This is what you have, “Deal with it! Learn how to live with it!” So I went back to my primary physician for a follow-up visit. On August 3, 2020, I was informed that my insurance company had approved a referral back to the ENT. On August 27, 2020 (24 days later) I called the ENT and they had absolutely no record of my situation whatsoever. So, they have offered me an appointment on September 29, 2020. So from my initial consultation to my next appointment, it’s going to be over 60 days. Had I not called them and waited for something to happen, no telling where I would be. Last but not least, the appointment scheduler has absolutely no clue what is going on. Completely & totally helpless. Thank you Central California ENT for absolutely nothing! I would highly suggest no one every utilize the services of this cow pasture type health care (maybe non-care) organization.

Love Dr. Hsu and his team! Eleanor is such a sweetheart. She is so helpful and caring. I highly recommend his team if youre thinking about coming here!Regarding the facility, I encountered maybe one or two rude staff members over the phone. But other than that, I had an overall good experience.

Horrible staff. My son (1 year old) had an appointment at 8am. Due to construction on the roads, we arrived in the office at 8:07am. Seven minutes late. The staff told us that we lost our appointment because of being seven minutes late. When I asked if there was any way to squeeze us in at another time during that same day ( I took off work) she just said NO, you should have been on time I tried to explain the delay because of road construction and she was very rude about it. We had to wait a month for this appointment and now my 1 year old son has to wait even longer to be seen. I am now going to another place instead of this office. Horrible people!

Very Rude front desk doctors and nurses are very nice but unfortunately it is a nightmare to deal with the front desk very unprofessional disrespectful, I rarely take time to write a review for a business but my experience was bad with them, no wonder all reviews are bad , with out going to details It is sad that a big facility like yours with all these Drs and specialists to get a bad reputation just because one or two people at the front don’t like their job and don’t care how people feel, I did call the customer relations Manager and complained. Had an appointment setup for over a month to get my results from a CT scan. I arrive check in and get called up about 5 min later to be informed that they had changed my appointment. The receptionist says that they called me and my voicemail was full and that I was sent a post card to tell me that they rescheduled my appointment. First I have never in the 10 years that I have had Verizon anybody ever tell me that they could not leave me a message because my VM was full. Then she proceeds to read my address that they sent this postcard to and had the town I live in completely wrong. So I wasted a vacation day from work to not even get seen after over a month. Had no problem with the doctor or his assistant. But due to the incompetence of there office staff I will be changing doctors.

Vast majority receptionists were extremely rude...even as I remained patient and polite thru countless errors and bad attitudes.On 2 occasions I was scheduled and showed up for apointments, then told I didnt have one. (missed day off work, as I live distant) They continued to see me after losing the contract with my insurance and did not inform me...waited until days before surgery and canceled my apt without calling to tell me it was canceled.Long waits on phone and in office for simple questions. Regularly do not return phone calls.At one apt, Drs assistant tried to take my vitals then shoo me out and deny me seeing the Dr that I had apt for...I had to fight to see the Dr ...turned out I was right and needed surgery! Receptionists seemed upset when I requested med records and dr notes for work.The list goes on, but I will stop here. What a shame, dr allen evans was a great dr and surgeon, but overshadowed by terrible staff.

Dont waste your time. The billing staff is incompetent. I have a hearing issue that I wanted a diagnosis for, but I had to wait six months for an appointment. After my first appointment (during which my ears weren’t addressed, only my sinuses) my follow up appointment was rescheduled and then canceled twice. The actual medical attention was not as skilled as I had hoped. They did advise me on caring for my sinuses but after all that they couldn’t help me with my hearing issue. Isnt that the “E” part of ENT???

I saw Dr Phan, excellent doctor, and he requested a CT scan. My appointment was in mid December, a month and a half later, over 10 phone calls, one walk in, to find out when this scan is going to take place STILL HASNT HAPPENED. I have great insurance, so it isnt that. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES other than your willingness to wait and wait and wait and be ignored, so if you like that kind of abuse, come here! There are plenty of other Drs in Fresno!

Was referred here by my dermatologist for surgery on a spot on my face that was cancer. My doctor was Dr Evans, he was excellent, he did a very good job and had a wonderful personality. Would recommend him to anyone.

Dont know what all of the bad reviews are for. I called on a Monday, got an appointment for the next day, I am a new patient, had a friendly and competent receptionist, got seen by an audiologist within a few minutes who tested my ears, cleaned them out, and I could hear again. And for the record, I hate going to doctors.

I can’t believe I’m posting a review, but I’m so bothered by what I encountered today. I made my appointment in August and was told the end of October would be the soonest I could be seen. The receptionist took my information and a few days later I received paperwork in the mail. Today I went in 30 minutes early as the paperwork instructed, for the appointment and was called up after 10 mins of waiting and told that they’d rescheduled me for December 5th because the doctor was in surgery. I was so confused. I took the day off work today. I can’t take another day in December! She then continued to tell me that they would have contacted me to let me know, but they didn’t have my number. She made this sound like it was my fault. Now clearly they have my address...they sent me paperwork. And I don’t have any problem giving my number. If I didn’t give it it’s only because the woman who scheduled me didn’t ask. I started to object or assert my right to be seen, the injustice of the situation was frustrating, but the woman was so cold and rude and unhelpful. I understood that she was just the messenger but a little validation that someone on their end screwed up, would have gone a long way. I just started crying at this point. The problem I’m having is becoming debilitating, and I just needed some help. She pretended to try to find a sooner appointment. They also had me scheduled with a different doctor than what I’d been told in August. I don’t know if it’s a lack of attention to detail or a numbness that comes from customer service (I’ve been there), but the cold, blunt, uncaring response I received from the woman at the desk was enough to make me realize that this place could not be trusted with my health.

I had a study done here and was very pleased with my experience though I was hesitant given the reviews. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was called back almost exactly on time. The audiologist was very nice, thorough and professional. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely return if need be.

Good luck getting seen on time even if you do show up on time. First time my daughter and I waited 45 minutes to be seen even after showing up 20 minutes early. Was three minutes late today even AFTER I called to say I would be late cause of traffic. And they said I was okay. Literally made us wait 30 minutes to be seen. My one month old daughter needed to be seen and made her wait in a lobby full of people who don’t cover their mouth when they cough and it smells so mildew like in the lobby. Wouldn’t recommend

After reading so many bad reviews for this place, I was so nervous to have an appointment that I almost just cancelled. I’m so glad I didn’t! I didn’t run into a single rude person here, everyone seemed really friendly! Granted my appointment was in the morning though, and it does seem like they get insanely busy at the front desk, so if you do encounter nurses that aren’t super friendly, they’re probably extremely exhausted from the day after seeing their workload in just a short time being there! Just have patience, I was really impressed with the office staff. Appointment wise, they don’t seem overly friendly over the phone as some reviews mentioned as well, but they’re also not rude. I had 4 callers ahead of me and I’m sure there were many after me, they just sounded rushed to get through all of the lines in a timely manner, which is understandable and to me, more appreciated than keeping their patients on long waits on the phone. The physician I saw was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable as well, overall I had a great appointment that started off with tons of anxiety from the bad reviews I read on here, so I hope this more positive review will put someone else’s worries to bed. It’s just a very busy office, people didn’t seem to keep that in mind with their reviews, and they probably had appts later on in the day when everyone is exhausted.

So I recently started having tinnitus back in October. It has gotten progressively worse. I saw my doctor who set up a referral. I finally got seen in January, but it was only for a hearing test, luckily they were able to schedule me with a doctor within a couple of days. After he saw me, he was like, well ,there are some vitamins that might help. There is also the possibility of having a tumor or growths, so there is a test we can perform, to make sure that isnt the case. I took the test in mid January, and have not heard back from them. I left several voicemails with the Drs assistant, and nothing. Very frustrating.

Pros: Having Dr Teitelbaum as my doctor was a fantastic experience. He recommended a few options to try before surgery and gave me ALL of the information I needed to make a decision instead of just rushing me into surgery. He was incredibly patient with me and gave me detailed answers that I could actually understand. I got treated like a person, not a number (even though he does talk fast) I had tonsillitis 3 times in 7 months and a very deviated septum so I decided to have both operations done at once due to work/school. The surgery went incredibly well (which never happens to me) and I recovered really well. I can finally breathe out of my right nostril and Im really happy with my results.Cons: just assume no one but the operator will answer the phone because no one but the operator does. Its a total pain but definitely worth it.

Every single time I called and they dont identify them self I ask for their names and they get all defensive asking: What is it that you need?. I need your name so I know who Im talking to about my health is not like Im asking for their social security number or anything like that.Had a surgery with Dr. DAVIES on July 9th, had some complications over night a day after my surgery. I called the number it was given to me on the discharge papers and the lady who answered refused to give me her name. I explained to her my situation with my recent surgery and she gave me the general phone number of the clinic telling me to ask for the triage nurse. I called the number asked for the triage nurse and the answer was: She wont be back for another 2 months . I started to worry thinking this facility doesnt take patients serious. Then I asked how an I get a hold of Dr. DAVIES ? The lady who was continuing to be rude (they all have so far except for the staff at the surgery center) stated she was going to have the nurse called me back. Erin called me over an hour later just to tell me he was busy and he couldnt help me at the moment because he had other patients. When I asked for estimated time he said I do not know I have a lot of patients to take care of. Therefore Im still here waiting for a call that was not supposed to be so complicated especially after my procedure. I definitely think they can do a better job providing costumer service. Once again Dr.Davies and the staff at the surgery center were very professional and kind. But not the girls in the main building.

My husband’s initial appointment keeps getting rescheduled at the last minute, wasting his very limited PTO and frustrating his employer. When we explained to the staff why we can’t keep dealing with this, I got yelled at by the scheduling manager to the point where I was crying. This behavior is disgusting. We are looking elsewhere for his treatment, no patient should deal with this abuse.

Had a septoplasty done and it collapsed with months went back and they said there’s nothing that can be done. A few months later I got a surprise bill for 5 thousand dollars apparently someone in the office gave my information(address, social security number and other information) to scammers. I spoke with a friend who said one of the doctors told her she was going to lose her eyesight long story short he put her on unnecessary medication she got a second opinion and her eyes are perfectly fine. DO NOT GO HERE.

I have suffered with ear infections for the past 3 years. My physician send me here. And one of the doctors I got told me my ear infections were due to sinus infections. They never gave me any medicine, and no matter what I kept continuing to get sick from painful ear infections. When I tried getting another Dr. to see me they said the other Dr. would have to discharge me and that it would take months. This after being put on hold, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. After I said I needed to see a Dr. sooner and that they should arrange for a different Dr. they just hung up on me. They are sick, and only care about ripping people off and not curing them.

This is not about Dr. Hsu, but his office staff. I had been given an appointment for 7 Aug, two months in advance. The day I showed up, the staff told me the Dr. is away today and you are set for next week; Ironically, she said that we have probably called you and let you know about the change in the appointment time! No apologyIt was a big waste of my time, as I drove from out of town to the Dr.s office.

I went in at 3:15 for an appointment, cause I was dealing with vertigo (2nd time in two years coming for the same reason) and 3 hours later (after being moved from physician to physician) all that was done was my hearing was checked (which I wasnt having problems with). I saw 4 Doctors/Specialists and Nurses all who asked What is the reason for your visit? (Thought to myself did you not ask the 3 doctors who talked to me before you?). By the end I saw the final doctor who asked me again what was wrong and then after telling him told me you need to see some other specialist and since it was 5:45 PM that person was gone. Thanks for dealing with the actual issue at hand.

Awful service. Waited for 4 weeks for an appointment, called and confirmed the day before. I had to take off of work for a 2pm appointment. Once there the staff informed me that the doctor couldnt see me after all and I had to come back in 6 weeks. AVOID this place! UNPROFESSIONAL! I would drive anywhere else to avoid them.

We had a great experience with Dr Lanier, who removed an object stuck in our two year olds nose. Great bedside manner, very kind, and made sure to answer all our questions and keep following up with us until we finally figured out what (the foreign object) was causing the bad smell from his nose. The surgical staff was great as well, very child friendly.It is a large office with lots of providers, so maybe some of the other doctors or staff are the cause of such poor overall reviews of the place...? But I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Lanier and his staff!My only complaint is that I wish they allowed a parent to be with their child when they are getting put under anesthesia.

Husband underwent testing in late January 2018; to date (2/26/2018) still no results. Called and left message and no response. This is not the first time this has happened. Patient follow-up is shoddy at best. Will continue to call to get test results but am considering holding off on paying for test until we get the results.

Had an appt. with Central CA ENT on 9/25/18. Prior to the appt. I called twice, once for password to access patient portal to register and again to verify appt.. Both times the office staff person I spoke with was very rude and almost demeaning in their tone with me. Central CA ENT is 60 miles away from where I live so it takes about an hour to get there. I arrived 30 minutes early for my appt. on 9/25/18, checked in (no greeting from the person at the desk) and waited for about 20 minutes before I was called up to the desk. The woman at the desk never looked up at me and said you dont have an appt. today. Lisa (at my Dr. office) called and changed the appt. to 9/27/18. I cancelled that appt. and left. I called my Dr. office and spoke with Lisa and she was shocked and said Why would I do that? I did not change the appt.. With all that said, I will never again deal with these people. They are horrible. Never saw the Dr. so I dont know how they are, however, poop flows from the top.

When I went to tell the assistant, who was very apologetic, a gentleman on a white coat walked by, who I assume was the doctor, and said, Yeah, tell him to go to another doctor. Were fine with that. After which they told me there was nothing wrong and all I needed were $5,000.00 hearing aids. I felt like I was just a number. These guys dont deserve any star. 1st appointment 3 months away from scheduling, then again they postponed it twic, so 5 months wait for 1st appointment. May b they just pretend to work. Lazy bums. They dont have any parking arrangements if parking is full, but thats patients fault if they arrive 20 minutes late bcoz you were trying to find a spot in scortching hot summer and they wont take you bcoz you are 20 mins late. This past fall, at the conclusion of my appointment, the Dr. wrote for me to have a CT scan. I called CVENT more than once to find out when my appointment would be. I finally stopped by and consulted with the department head in order to get an appointment. The scan was completed over two weeks after the physician consultation. After having surgery in early January and a follow-up visit with my physician on Feb. 9, at the conclusion of the physician visit, I was told that a nasal antibiotic solution would be prescribed and a specialty pharmacy would be handling the Rx. I made repeated calls to check on the Rx, and after 2 1/2 weeks, I was told that the Rx had been sent to this specialty pharmacy. It took another 3-4 days to hear from the Pharmacy, and now, 4 days later, I still do not have my prescription. I paid extra to have 2 day shipping. I am thoroughly disappointed in the service of CVENT. I am pleased with the physician, but not with the follow-up response of the staff. My ears have been clogged since June of this year. It got so bad that I made an appointment and it was three months out. The day before my appointment I was super excited because I thought they could fix my ears, but the day before they called to cancel my appointment and schedule me out for another two months. Not customer friendly. I received an Rx for EKG prior to surgery and insurance asked for authorization from CCENT for EKG. I called CCENT and they refused to contact insurer to authorize. I was told to figure it out with them myself. I cancelled...after arranging for a week off from work.

I was finally referred to a specialist in another part of the state and after 3 months that specialist has not received the referral documents..so I am having to push the staff and follow up etc. as they have not shown concern for me once they realized I need someone with more experience.

Scheduled my appointment back in August for a December date and they called one day before the appointment day to tell me it’s been rescheduled for February. Rude staff acts like they barely want to be there.

Wait on hold for 45 minutes to make an appointment - and then when someone finally picks up - get transferred to voicemail. This has happened to me twice now - it wont happen again!

So I am here on a post-op appointment about 1 week after a surgery I had here. Even though I arrived about 5 minutes early for my appointment, I have been waiting for 35 minutes already. I heard them call back someone else and I could swear the got here after me.
