Im a proud father to say that velarde takes care of the youth and all the young boys and girls that come their great job velarde my kids are proud to be part of the velarde team.

Proud parent of 2 of velardes kids. They are great with the kids . They have great coaches . Happy to be apart of the Velarde Family.

Wouldnt recommend velardes. The lady cant run the gym everyone walks all over her and when u try to help them out. They kick u out. And say rule number 9. Which is if u aint a coach dont act like one. No warnings. Just kick u out. They just kicked me and my nephews and a couple other people out. They dont come to u with respect. Just come and say u got to go. It started because I wanted to take my nephew to a fight at the fair cuz he has his white book and I asked them would they mind being in his corner. Well they said if I took him I would have to find another gym so I didnt but I and the other people that were kicked out went to support the other fighters so we showed up today and got kicked out for no reason. Smh. They lost 11 of us today. There Unprofessional on how they handle there business.

Unless youre a kid or have experience, the coach wont work with you much. It is hard to learn and practice much of anything without being taught properly. The gym is nice, but the staff is mediocre. Very one dimensional minded rrigid thinkers that are highly selective. Not a gym I recommend.

I loved it, they really seem to work with the youth appropriately. Trainers appear to be patient ☺

Very nice and organizationed gym if I boxed or new someone who did I would recommend this place
