I like this location. Overall it seems pretty clean and not too crowded. I like the variety of machines (that all are well kept/they work) they have here and the atmosphere is pleasant. There are cleaners and rolls of paper towels everywhere so you can wipe equipment down before and after each use. They offer touch free water fill up and I believe the water to be good since it doesn’t taste funny and it doesn’t make me sick. The bathrooms are spacious and clean. There are lockers and showers. The staff is super helpful and friendly at this location. There is a ton of parking. Nothing but good things to say about this place. Even during the remodel operations are smooth here. If I had to list any cons - there are no racquetball courts, tracks, or swimming pools. But that’s why I have a membership with Fit Republic (which is also awesome) as well ;)

Its clean and thats important right now! There is always someone, usually two people cleaning at any time. Theyre not just cleaning for show either, theyre really disinfecting surfaces.The machines are kept working and when one breaks, its repaired in a couple days.Its really a judgement free Gym and I like that. Ive had multiple surgeries and move slower than most. Members are kind and I like that a health food store and smooth shop are in the same mall.

The new app has made everything a breeze. The best feature yet would have to be the occupancy tracker, it will let you know when the gym is at a certain occupancy so you will know when it too crowded or just right. Updated and clean equipment. Nice environment. The only thing thats overly tempting are the box of donuts on the back counter, but I must practice restraint!

Not a bad PF location! It was clean, staff was kind, and there were plenty of cardio machines. My only complaint is that for how busy this place gets, there are only 3 Smith machines. A bunch of us were sheepishly waiting around for one to open up that eventually I gave up trying to get one. There needs to be at least 4 or 5 so more people can actually lift.

Friendly staff. Hydro lounge is generous with 10 minutes unlike the 5 min you see in other locations. And you have to wipe it down yourself.One of the stair-steppers had trouble resuming after a pause, so had to swap machines. The purple calf extension machine is wobbly, be careful.Bring your own lock at this location; they don’t have the built-in locks for the lockers. Liked that the women’s locker room was chilly, and that the water in the showers got really hot. However, the center shower’s light was out, none of the showers had cady’s, nor was there a bench near the shower. Had to set my soap container on the floor. There weren’t any spray bottles in the locker room, so you can’t spray the locker or shower before and after use without grabbing one from the gym floor. The sink faucets are automatic with a warm to hot temp. So not ideal for rinsing your Invisalign if you have to take them out to drink a protein shake. If you don’t know, Invisalign need to be rinsed with cold water, warm/hot can warp the material.Went around 7am on a Monday, wasn’t crowded. Had a great workout.

When I got here staff did not seem to care. I was working out and noticed there was no benches for the bench press. People had moved them to the curling area. Where everyone was dangerously close in this area. All while we are still dealing with covid. I brought it up to the staff that I had been waiting to get one. But everyone kept saying they were using it. I told staff if they were not talking the whole time. They would be able to make sure the equipment was not only cleaned but shared. I feel sorry for the people who wont say something because they are scared. Because in a sense planet fitness allows bullying and does not care to at least try to maintain a safe environment for people while we are still dealing with covid. Not to mention I am one of the few who at least live in Fresno. People drive from all over and get this treatment

Wasnt sure If there was a cell phone revival going on or people trying to Improve their heath. They should ban cellphones In the gym. I really dont want to hear everyones conversations 😕

The manager Claudia at this location is rude and inconsiderate. I called in to cancel my membership and Claudia didnt let me finish a sentence. Zero professional abilities helping customers. After calling in 3 different times over a year, sending emails and requesting cancellation various times this location still won’t assist me in making this easy. On top of this being a terrible gym the ownership and management obviously don’t care much about customer experience other than as a transactional relationship. Never will I ever use or recommend to anyone ever again. Hopefully the ownership team can take the initiative as professionals to train their Managment to actually help the customer. Claudia couldn’t have cared less about my frustrations or needs. I wonder how she would have felt were the situation was reversed? Probably never crossed her mind.

A clean 24 hour gym. Good amount of equipment. What else do you need?

Great place to work out, nobody bothers you when working out, machines all work execpt for two, place doesnt get as packed, but you do have the app to tell you if it does, my only criticism, I wish they had a scale to weigh your weight. Other than that they are open 24/7 not other planet fitness location have them open late, other than this place. the surrounding area seems ok neighborhood as far Im concern.

Gets crowded on week days (all locations) at certain timees but its cheap I suppose. And this gym definitely gets the job done.

Love this location because its nice and clean but the hour isnt work for me and my friends anymore so we stopped going there, since we off work at 9 pm and we live on Shaw, so this is the only convenience spot. I hope youll be open until atleast 11pm.

I was in town for a week and wanted a weeks pass.. not available so my only option was a day pass... $25 per day!! Dissappointed to say the least

It gets the job done. No free weights except for a Smith machine and dumbbells. But if youre just trying to get back into shape, or dont need free weights, try it out.

Good clean gym in Fresno. Its a shame essential business status was not filed this before the 3rd shutdown. As of January 28, 2020, Planet Fitness is the only major gym chain that remains closed, the other three have been open now for quite some time. it makes me wonder why Planet Fitness is so passive when it comes to keeping their business open. It almost appears as if they want to be closed. We’ll see if they go back to the 24 hour format whenever they do open again, we’ll see.

I’ll post the only picture I have at the moment but this gym is only 2 miles away from my home and it’s always great. The parking lot always has space and there’s always enough machines for everyone. The staff always greets me when I walk in and it’s a simple check in. Go get those gains!!

I like Planet Fitness because it fits my budget. There is tanning and massage bed,and chairs. Totally Body Enhancement is a great machine, it helps you tone up and clears up skin blemishes. Honestly, its the only gym Planet Fitness that has the Total Body Enhancement. Thank you too for keeping clean. Again friendly costumer service

I love coming to this location of Planet Fitness. The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The place is very clean and all the equipment is new. The staff are always cleaning the equipment and floors so is always clean. The restroom and also clean. And theres alot of lockers if you are in need of one. There are tons of machines to do your work out.

If you can get a deal for a membership, like the $1 down or $10 to charity, go for it. A basic memory is fine but if you want the massage chairs, hydro-massage, or tanning, go for the $20 a month one. I have the $20 and have enjoyed it so far. The location is kept up very well and they have everything you could need to start working out.

No bike rack needs out side work done, sloppy.

Its good. Clean facilities, helpful personal. My only thing was that I didnt like that the windows were behind me. Im just weary like that. But other than that it was a good experience.

This place is kept quite clean and the staff are nice. Most of the clientele are fat and old people pretending to work out or using machines improperly (doing ego lifts and locking joints). At least most of the visitors just use the cardio machines and stay out of the way of people who actually want to improve. The free weights dont go very high for liability reasons (no more than 60lbs) and there are no squat racks or barbells you can load with weights, just Smith machines with the bar at an unhelpful angle. Ive enjoyed coming here as a beginner, but probably need to move on to a serious gym.

It is a nice low pressure gym. They have the standard basic gym equipment, several weight machines and a couple free weight sets. I didnt have any idea what i was doing at a gym (always worked out outdoors before an injury) but they have an instructor on hand most of the day on weekdays who helps you out. You even get a personalized free workout plan if you sign up for it too.

The best Planet Fitness I have been to. Its kept clean and organized, not to mention that the equipment is always in excellent condition.

When it comes to free weights: No barbells and only light dumbbells. Not a real gym. It’s mainly a larger version of a nice hotel gym. Lots of machines and threadmills if that’s what you’re looking for.

Not impressed. I called to see if they have child care as I have children under 13, and the lady said they dont offer child care. She did make the comment that they are open 24 hours to allow for me to go at my ability. Well since I am a 24 hour mother when does that accommodate to my ability? Is she suggesting I leave my kids home alone at some point of the 24 hours? Even a spot for the children to just sit and be on their tablets would be nice. I dont have babies but by law I cannot leave children between 8 and 11 home alone at any point of a day. No wonder I have not been to a gym in over 12 years. Not very accommodating to single parents what so ever.

The gym is wonderful BUT it gets so busy here around the afternoon. There are some people here who are in the machines but they dont use it, they sit there with their phones. BUT PF is very clean, they maintain their bathrooms as sanitary as possible and they play a great selection of music and you can also buy protein drinks and waterbottles from the gym.

So far love this place. Part of it is being consistent with yourself. But they have plenty of machines and equipment to where you should never have to wait. Staff is pretty friendly minus one that has little personality.

This Planet Fitness is always clean, and the staff is friendly. When I go, it is usually pretty empty with a lot of machines open, but I do go late at night like at 10 pm so I dont know how full it is during the day.

So originally, I loved this gym but now I am skeptical. I went one time to this gym and paid $10 for the “month to month” “no commitment” “no cancelling” membership which is what the guy/girl at the front counter kept emphasizing. Then, I never went again and my credit card which was on file was stolen so I received a new one. Now that it’s been 5-6 months later they billed me for $80-$100(they first told me $80 then I talked to them again on the phone and now they’re saying it’s $100). They were not clear at all initially when I “joined” the gym, and if they backtrack their history they would see that the only time I checked in was the very first time I entered. I feel that it was unfair and misleading of them to charge me especially when they expressed numerous times implying that this gym is only a month to month, pay whenever I go. Very disappointed. Both My sisters and best friend has a membership with them so they lost more than one customer.

I enjoy going, although I dont get to go as often as I would like! Very clean and great machines ! The staff is very nice and will help you in any way they can!

I feel comfortable working out here... I really like the 30 min workout room, just wish they monitored it like theyre supposed to to minimize people just jumping in and getting on machines they could find outside the room. Other than that.. Thumbs up from us.

Most of the staff at this location are oddly unfriendly... constantly hitting the lunk alarm when its their equipment that is loose.. Not a place to be if you are easily embarrassed. They are clean at least. So if your gonna be working out here I would bring decent headphones and thick skin.

The 30 minute circuit section gets really hot by late afternoon on most days. Even the main section can get warm which van be very uncomfortable. Gym should set the ac to a lower temp when it gets busier. Also, the water faucet can be room temp by late afternoon as well.

Honestly the best gym in Fresno is probably GB3, but Planet Fitness is not that bad considering it is a third of the price. If you only plan to go to one location, choose the cheaper plan. The upgraded plan isnt worth it.

Staff is friendly and they leave you be. Place is always being cleaned. Can sometimes get crowded after work but theres plenty of machines and you can always find something to use. Just wish they had more yoga mats for stretching.

Its all workout. Equipment, and some free weights. Run, bike, stairwalk, core, legs, arms, and such all there for you to use. Affordable on a budget and their hydro massage bed is awesome!

This gym is clean, it also has plenty of machines to get your workout done. I love the locker rooms too they are super neat and clean and lockers are big enough for all my stuff. Its a workout friendly environment.

Great place place to work out. Staff is awesome, especially Azel, (probably spelled her name wrong). Never too crowded except from time to time in the free weight area. They are somewhat limited on their weight machines but I have worked with less. It’s all about you and what you put in.A few of the machines are in need of servicing. Particularly one of the smith machines needs alignment. Other than that $10 a month and spend as much of as little time as you want. They have locker room facilities with showers.What I like about this place the most is you can come and do what you need to do. Some people never worked out before and that’s fine. I ran into this at other gyms where they pressure you into getting the platinum package with one or two sessions with a personal trainer and if you want to continue with them it’s another nominal fee. I’m ex military. I know what I need to do. This place has given me the facility to do it. Thanks for letting me rock it.

The gym is great, great people, nice employees just one exception. Their current club manager comes out as very rude and impolite. Twice I had the displeasure of speaking to her and every time she left a bad impression. I would have given this place 4 stars otherwise.

This gym is so clean. I legit sorta feel bad for the employees because it seems like theyre always cleaning and at other gyms they just kick back behind a counter talking or zoning out on their cell phone. This place is nonstop being cleaned in one way or another. The equipment is also more modern than the other affordable gym in town. They cater more to privacy in the locker rooms than other gyms Ive been to as well. Its a very good place to work out and not feel like youre being judged. If youre looking for free weights, this place isnt for you. It seems less focused on body building here and more a place to get into(or back into) shape.

Great gym, reasonably priced payment plans and wide open space. One of the downsides are that the floor matting often comes up in small rolls. Offering a trip hazard and is something that needs to be addressed because it is a safety issue.

My two favorite things: They are 24 hours every day of the week, and their most expensive membership option is still less expensive than a standard membership at most other gyms. This includes benefits that other gyms dont offer, like being able to bring a friend with me for free unlimited times and tanning. I was a member at GB3 and canceled because their only 24 gym wasnt 24 hours every day of the week. I need to be able to go to the gym during odd hours and PF offers that and everything else that I want/need for a workout, plus luxuries that no other gyms can offer.

They allow guests, which is a pro and a con at the same time. Pro if you are a guest and are dedicated to working out while at the gym. Con if you want to use a machine but its got someones guest just hanging out on it. Otherwise 5/5!

This gym is clean and has alot to offer such as; hydromassage, tanning beds, massage chairs and more! Although I wish they had a swimming pool or Jacuzzi. So far the employees have been very helpful and friendly. Its well located next to Kristinas Natural Market. It really does seem judgement free as well.

Love this place. Friendly staff, I always see someone cleaning the equipment which is a big plus.. and having wifi is so convenient.

The gym is clean, and the crews are nice. The only reason one star is deducted is due to lack of equipment. They have a lot of running machines and bicycles, but no muscle work equipment such as floor press hanger.

Need more work out machines unfortunately. And pretty warm in there. But overall, a great place for us to work out.

Ever since Planet Namek was destroyed, this has been my favorite place to go and train. Be warned, if your power level ever goes over 9000, an alarm will sound.

I travel across the country delivering rvs to dealerships and as i spend alot of time waiting on delivery and in a truck it becomes difficult to stay healthy! Planet fitness was my answer to staying in shape as there are many locations. Some are better some are needing work. This location was awesome and well maintained! They made me feel comfortable and were incredibly nice to my situation! The employee that worked at the counter named mario even helped me with my truck battery when i left my lights on accidently! He came out and helped on his own will without asking! I cant say enough about this location. Thank you planet fitness and most of all thanks mario! Im glad to be a black card member!

The staff here is always very friendly. The manager Jessica was extremely helpful with any issues that I had regarding my membership transfer. The place is always clean, I see them cleaning every time I am there. I have been to other planet fitness locations and the staff here is the best. If you go at the right times it can be pretty lonely and basically have the whole gym to yourselves. It can get busy in the evenings, but that happens at every gym. Ive seen people complain about the wifi on these reviews but I have never had any issues with my wifi connection.

Classes, free weights, and modern exercise machines. Almost no wait for any equipment, but several machines were out of order on my last visit

I have never been to a more worthless place. First time at a planet fitness. Just moved to the area. Stupid girl at the counter wouldnt give me a tour. Asked if i could check it out myself then. Told me it would be $20 for a day pass...told her i guess i will try a different gym. She said olk and walked off. I will never go to a planet fitness again!

Ive been going here for almost a year now, and I love it. Ive been to other gyms and this one is the cleanest and least intimidating out of them all.
