I helped volunteer for Zumbathon today for a good Cause for Beauty for Ashes to help stop Human Trafficing. The Trainers were so upbeat and pumped up! Everyone had a great time!

I like valley Fitness personally I just re join today ,price is reasonable Atmospheres is great trainers are amazing and,the equipment is fantastic and theyre open early and close late .come on down Lets get fit together in the valley, at Valley Fitness.

I was here for a week from Texas to visit family and got a week pass. Staff was friendly and welcoming A+Overall the gym has everything you need for a solid workout. Very satisfied. Will come visit again when Im in town

Five stars for being open despite the purple tier. I just wish they would provide disposable paper towels to wipe the machines down after use as opposed to the wet rags they offer. Everyone wears a mask in there. Not overly crowded. It’s one of the few places I can go where things feel “normal.” The atmosphere here is cordial, and I appreciate being able to get a workout in here during the week. Parking sometimes gets packed but I haven’t had a problem getting a spot when I go. Kudos to the owner for keeping this open!

Great gym to workout at, equipment is not the newest but it is taken care of. Nice atmosphere and large multi-function workout area along with 2 smaller workout rooms one for upper body and another room for lower body. They also have a cardio room. Friendly staff always greets you.

Love this gym. They arent too packed during the time I go. Staff is super helpful and nice. They answer the phone with the most respect and dignity. The most friendliest Fit Republic gym in the Fresno area. Equipment doesnt get fixed for months, so it gets kinda crowded on high attendance days.

If you are committed to changing your life its a must. If you are here to socialize forget it, dont bother wasting your money.

Love this gym!!! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The racquetball and handball courts are fantastic and it’s great that the first court when you come inside the entire wall is glass so you can watch others play☝️

Descent place. A bit beat up though. The floor plan is a bit awkward because it was primarily for squash ball, once upon a time. It still has squash ball games.

Can be crowded but what gym isnt? A little slow to repair broken equipment.

I love the Fit Nation AM class led by Jarred White. Hes attentive and motivational. Other than that, the Centrepoint site need an overhaul on staff, better equipment, customer service, cleaning, reinstatement of the sauna, spinning, childcare. Sad that they are not consistent and staying up with what is customary at modern clubs.

The Jacuzzi still doesn’t work. No water fountains in the work out area. The employees work out there and they have very big egos. Other that that I like it. The people at the front are nice and the members are generally nice.

All that new equipment and you cant provide paper towels? Everyone has to share a single rag to wipe down all the equipment. Thats EVERYONES sweat. I dont even bother wiping down. Its probably less dirty that way.

Love it! I went to other Fitness Evolution Gyms and this is by far the best one in town! The staff are friendly and they welcome you like family. The energy and vibes from the personal trainers are motivational and they care about helping you reach your goals. They are not at all cocky and are very professional. You can tell they love what they do and its not about themselves but its about the people!!

Walked in and saw how worn down this place is. People in the front did not acknowledge me, as I was interested in signing up. (Thank God I didnt). They just looked up at me and continued staring at their computer screen. I just walked out. I went to the one on Shaw/Blackstone before and enjoyed it but this site is no good.

I guess this place is under new ownership but I had lost my debit card when they were under the old membership, and when I let them know about it they told me not to worry that I wasnt going to get charged or have to pay any late fees. Today I go to reinstate my membership and now I supposedly owe a lot of money to them. The new staff had no empathy to my situation and basically told me too bad, new ownership, new rules and did not care that I was given false information and then they told me they wont stop charging me until I pay them something. I cant believe this is the way this new ownership does business. And the new staff are very rude and need to learn customer service.

I was a long term member here and at the Blackstone location. This particular building is falling apart. Instead of doing repairs badly needed (the ceiling tiles are literally missing / very old run down equipment just as a few exsamples) they are putting in new offices. Which is pretty upsetting because the management and staff had promised to fix the sauna for months. I could really go on and on about the misconduct and complete disregard for members here but i will just say STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION. Lastly i did not appreciate the gal behind the desk doctoring up my cancellation form by putting I joined another gym when clearly that is not the case. And then proceeding to sign that document FOR me. I suppose so i couldnt see what see had written. Unprofessional!! I will absolutely be staying away from fitness republic.

A great facility with lots of space and plenty to keep active with. The unusual layout of Centerpoint is what makes it unique and one of my favorite Fitness Evolution locations in Fresno. There is always adequate parking and the staff are more than helpful. I would definitely recommend avoiding peak hours because the gym fills up quick and ventilation in some areas is not the greatest. All in all a quality full service gym with an attractive rewards program and great equipment.

Nothing fancy but every piece of equipment and tons of space. Plus lots of handball rooms incase youve been on state vacation and learned that sport. Staff is great too

I have been a continuing member of this gym facility since 1978 when it was called 4-Walls West. I want to commend management and staff especially the desk associates of Fit Republic for their kind greetings when I check in. But I really want to commend the pool caretaker for his ever-present maintenance and care of the pool. I know the pool is the most expensive piece of equipment at the facility that always needs daily care. The pool guys are the best. The pool is always free of debris and and vacuumed and appears to look as it did in the 70s. The pool is heated during the cold months as I am able to lap swim year around even on the coldest winter days. I really enjoy the new look and colors of the interior of the facility. I also want to thank the custodial staff for their hard work for keeping the facility pristine appearance and condition. I would recommend Fit Republic to anyone who wants a universal workout from racket ball, weights, cycling and walking machines to lap swimming for a moderate monthly membership. I spent so much time on this post thinking of my workout, I missed my workout.

I joined back in May 2017. Mainly for the pool, jacuzzi & sauna! I also love the history of the site itself. I prefer to get my excise outside. I walk my dog. I bike around the Tower District where I own a home. I have a canoe and 4 kayaks, trailer, First Aid/CPR certified.Sauna was broke, in July waiting parts. Dec they say the Saunas have been ripped out. I think I went 2 times for the pool the third time the jacuzzi was broke, sauna was still waiting on parts. They are making it ridculous to cancel this membership. Even tho I was not going because I started calling ahead...?

Great location.. unfortunately there were several treadmills not working. Some weights were broken as well other than that pretty good!.

I’ve used this gym since it used to be centerpoint athletic center. Once it was bought it took a long time but we finally have a great gym. AC is always working, doesn’t smell like old people pee in the halls, (men’s still does). And new equipment has been brought in. There’s an entire area dedicated to barbell equipment. A room for squats, deads and Olympic weights and a room filled with barbell benches and freeweights

They get you into sign onto their most exclusive as well as priciest membership, and while doing so they tell you can downgrade at anytime, and infact they will prorate you the difference. Nothing but inaccurate and false information. If you want to downgrade they will charge you for enrolling to a different membership as if you were a brand new member.

I use to come here last year , I signed back up from then to now the equipment is really run down and Lysol should be present the spray that’s there isn’t sanitizing anything. Customer service friendly. They have removed paper towels this is awful

Ill give credit where credit is due. This gym had some serious problems with the floor in the weight room, and it took them a while, but it looks like they finally got around to fixing things up. Im hoping that when it warms up this summer, theyll have fixed the air-conditioning as well. Otherwise, the place has pretty much everything you need and the price is very reasonable.

Its hot and musty. Cross contamination everywhere. Using one rag for everyone to wipe equipment isnt the best idea. Bathrooms are extremely foul.

The last past 2 days I’ve come to the gym and they have not been open when they open at 5AM. We pay to come here and for it not to be open is unacceptable it would be nice to be given notice in advance because it interrupts our daily routine

If u are a late gym goer, then the gym is really good but if u want to get into the gym when they are sopose to open then good luck with that they never open on time and will have u waiting 30min - 1hr which is not good for me who works at 7am and would like to get my workout in at 5am like they say they will open...

Club just permanently canceled all group exercise classes except for their stinking Evo fit class. Benn a member of this facility for thirty plus years and this is the worse this place has ever been. The place lost is soul. Dont be fooled by the cheap price. Cheap is right.

I just visited the website. To say the least it was frustrating to the point i called. True they only offer evo fit classes. Disappointed this area borders fig and tower district and we luv our yoga...no more yoga classes. I did confirm the pool is open swim no classes. The pool is the only reason I will keep the membersip but since you dont offer a variety of classes I will change to the basic plan. Unless the pool isnt included. Then I will cancel the membership.

No integrity. No honesty with whats in contract. Leaves out alot in verbal communication. Charged my mother a 69.99 annual fee after with them only 2 months. That was wrong. Should have been corrected, my mother should have been treated with value. Be careful when signing up, get copies of contract. Read everything, and really look around. Its not what it seems. They are very sneaky about getting money an hook u in. The pool is always down an dirty, the manager has a agruementative or un empathetic attitude. Womens bathrooms full of poop all over toilets. Its discusting there. Awful management. Just horrible. It amazes me that it is still going, and poor people that sign up there. That place needs to be shut down. Everything there is all broken up or ready too fall apart, and extremely dirty. The showers are smelly. The manager shows no care. So, its pretty obvious why its lacking honesty. I will never step foot in that discusting elements of dirt again.

I joined the fig garden location. I like it alot and have been a member for 2yrs. Everyone is very nice. My issue is the temperature in the club. I had issues last yr and left many times because it was toooo hot. Nothing was done cuz this yr, Im finding it to hot again. Ive asked about it, their response was, its a good thing you dont come on the afternoon! So, can someone pleeeaasssse fix the lack of A/C? I know Im not the only person feeling the heat! Thanks Jill

Smh we force ourselves to get up early in the morning to get gym out the way an just to come at 5am an see staff is late once agian. Its such a joke. People DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS PLACE. Walked in and walked out. Floor is coming up in the weight room. They have deadlift pads those are coming up unsafe place to train. The owner should be ashamed of the danger that the floor alone is putting people in. Would not squat here or do any type of leg work the risk of injury is way to high.

The place is a little tricky to find if you speed past it. Otherwise after the first time youve found it, its easy to remember to slow down and make your turn. The layout is really weird, but I do enjoy using the cardio and machine rooms. The ladies restroom/lockers, sinks, toilets, whirlpool arent just as updated as most people like it to be. Its gross and old looking but I never use them so I could care less. However the pool is a great plus! I just wish Fitness Evo gyms opened a little longer on the weekends. Overall, the staff up at the front is always greeting people and saying their good-byes. Other F.E. gyms the staff usually stays in one place and talks -- when you go up to them they look at you really rude as if youre interrupting their conversation which I think is highly unprofessional. The machines and free weights are clean, hardly any of them are broken which I think is good. I would recommend this gym for students who go to Fresno City college because its just down the street! You can literally go to the gym in less than 5 mins, workout, and get back to school grounds within 5 mins. Or if you wanted to take a dip in the pool, then by all means! The pool would be nice to have more shade but thats just me being picky. I would come again! (Which I have been)
