The worst pediatrics I’ve been to.. I went there as a kid and it was great when dr.Miranda was actually there in the office. I’ve called everyday for a week and was was on the line for 45 min each time no one ever answers there phone. Went in for my daughters first shots and they made me wait till she was two months to get them. Waited in the back room on the doctor for 3 hours at her two month apt. Took my son in for a physical, mention that he was messing with his ear and was told he was fine. Not even a day later we were in urgent care because my sons ear was swollen and so badly infected.

Worst childrens Dr Ever !!! My child was in discomfort pain had appointment canceled fot a random reason and all he was worried about was a staff member Named Laura Ive tried getting a follow-up appointment for 4 days and Laura has told me 3 different reasons why My child couldn’t be seen & when I questioned her She was rude, inconsiderate the Worse of the Worse especially knowing a Child is in pain & Then Dr Miranda Calls and is only worried about Laura not one sake of the child!!!!!! Been going there for 7 years and probably only seen him four times anyways !!!! Terrible, Rude & Can care less for the Children!!!!

I have been taking my kids to Dr. Miranda for about 4 years now. I love Dr. Miranda & I agree with what other reviewers have said. He is extemely kind, gentle, great with babies and my older kids, and he is very knowledgeable. He was a big help when we were figuring out my sons asthma.I have had issues with the medical staff at his office. Even though I have taken my 3 kids to regular appointments for the last 4 years, the medical staff refers to me as Mom and do not use my childrens names. Sometimes they even refer to my kids as patient. Mom can you bring patient at 10:30 on Wednesday? I know this is a minor thing but it reflects the overall lack of courtesy that is prevalent with this office staff. Maybe Im old fashioned, but it would be nice if medical staff and nurses could actually say hello when they lead us back into the room instead of just opening a door and expecting us to follow.Another issue is I have had incredibly long waits for appointments. My last appointment for my son was at 10:45 and we didnt see the doctor (this time not Dr. Miranda but his PA) until after 12! When I said something to the staff they said that the wait time is sometimes long because the doctor is answering patients questions. They did not empathize or act like they even cared that we had a long wait (because Im sure they dont care.) This is certainly not the first time I have had long waits.On another occasion I had a late medical bill due to a misunderstanding with my insurance. The bill was maybe a few weeks past due at the most. Even though I explained the circumstances the staff at CVP refused to remove the late charge, despite it being my only late bill in the 4 years my 3 kids have been seeing Dr. Miranda.The new office is much more comfortable and seems more spacious than the old office. I have really appreciated Dr. Mirandas help. Im just trying to decide if the lack of courtesy with the staff is just the norm these days or if it would be worth going somewhere else.

Dr. Ray Miranda has been our pediatrician for numerous years, I have two children in their twenties that were seen by him since birth. Now my youngest daughter and my four grandchildren are still being seen by him.. He has been an awesome doctor to our family.I feel confident and safe in his decisions that he has made with my children and grandchildren.

Dr. Miranda is super knowledgeable. I have full confidence in his expertise. Thats why he has been the pediatrician for our family for 16 years. I hope he doesnt retire before at least 13 more.

I like the office, the staff and the doctor. We are going to dr. Miranda for 3 years now, the doctor is very patient with my daughter and never rush us , he really answer to all the questions . Sometimes yes you can wait a little but its ok, didnt bother me too much. The nurses also are really nice and fun with the kids. We like it, my daughter said she love the doctor, and the nurse even after her shots😊

They triple book and their staff doesnt update you. They cancelled my daughters appointment without my knowledge and no one called to tell me so I took her as planned. I sat in the waiting room for over a half hour and it wasnt until I went and asked what was the delay that they told me the appointment was cancelled. From that point on, I found another pediatrician.

I have been taking my chilren to Dr. Mirandas office for 16 + years. They over book and the wait times are extremely long!! I took my daughter in to see the P.A. when Dr. Miranda was out of town and was told certain test would be run but they ended up not being what I was told and after 2 weeks of me calling, trying to get results and being frustrated I was told I could bring my daughter back in and I would have to pay another copay. I am extremely disappointed with how the situation was handled! I understand this is a business but when its a mistake on your part you should pay the bill not me.

Our son got bit by some kind of insect, we came into the doctor and his nurse Ben told us it was nothing. Well I wasn’t convinced so I took my son to valley children’s and they told us it was highly infected. So of course I was upset, well we had our 9 month check up the next day and I told nurse Ben that my son’s hand is infected and we got antibiotics for it. Well yesterday my husband took him in for a rash on his face and hands and demanded to see doctor Miranda, he came in bothered as if it was a hassle to see my son. Then my husband told him what happened last time so we wanted to see him not Ben. And doctor Miranda just said oh.Long story short we will no longer be going here and I’m very disappointed because I was told Miranda was a great pediatrician unfortunately that wasn’t the case for our family.

Awesome pediatrician office kids been going here for 12 years everyone is super friendly and respectful. They are truly im it for the kiddos.

My kids have been going to Dr. Miranda for a long time over 18 years.. He is the best pediatrician in Fresno I drive over 45min just to see him.. never had a problem with him or staff. He remember all my kids name and what sport they play and has even donated money for sports..

My daughter brought my grandson to this doctor today. He had a 102.4 fever and had headache. The person at the counter would not allow him to see the doctor because her insurance (medical ) was not correct. So my daughter had to get in touch with the county for insurance info. By that time the office is getting ready to close. I dont understand why the doctor could not see him and my daughter would have the insurance info corrected by tomorrow. She could have paid cash for the office visit if that was asked for. It wasnt... Now this little guy will be taken to Childrens and his treatment is delayed hours now. I dont know about the oath these doctors take, I think its just to make them feel good about themselves but they sure only care about the almighty dollar. I notice there are other people on the web site that also said they are looking for a new doctor. Maybe the doctor is great, maybe he is unaware of how his front office staff treats people. He needs to pay attention to his staff and be aware of how they represent him. They are not professional at all.

I love Dr. Miranda he has been both my daughters doctor since they were born! This year that makes it 15 years and he has never let us down! His staff is also great and always friendly!

Dr Miranda was referred to us by another Dr friend who used Dr Miranda himself for his own kids.We have known Dr Miranda now for over 3 years and we wouldnt change him for anything. We recently had to switch our own insurance and go to Kaiser, but we kept the same old insurance for our kids just so they would retain Dr Miranda as their Pediatrician. The staff goes above and beyond to help me anytime whether I call them or am there in person.I would recommend Dr Miranda to anyone looking for a Pediatrician.

We been with this doctor 4 years for both my kids. He provides family focused care. Its very easy to discuss any kids problem with him and he is open to give any advice. You are the real example to set for others to win the respect and confidence of others. I noticed that there was flu season and clinic was very busy. We were the last appointment left to be seen by him. They took me and my kids in the room. The doctor was looking completely tired. I also explained to him that we went to ER LAST night where nothing was done and told go see you doctor. The doctor listened to us patiently and gave me time to explain. His tiredness didnt decreased his passion towards his own patients. He set the example in my eyes that there are still some doctors who really care about others. He also set the example that how he ignored his own tiredness and took time to see my kids. Doctor my best wishes are with you . I hope the success for your family and this clinic.

Dr. Miranda is hands down the best Dr. we have had. Listens to all concerns and takes care of the situation! Will continue here .

I love the sweet staff, the clean office, the quickness, and the care they give my baby. They answer all of my questions and even help with my insurance questions. Anyone who writes a bad review must be a hard patient. I recommended this office to all my friends and all of them love it!

He is An amazing doctor very attentive to my concerns and what is going on with my children. We have been here many years. My only complaint now is that the wait times just to be seen are getting a little out of hand. My kids have to wait an hour or more just to be called back to be seen for 5 min. We pay fees to have to be here on time or before their apt time and are charged fees to cancel day of and what not but yet when we fallow their rules we still have to wait over an hour after their actual apt time to be seen. im not very happy with the office at this moment..

I can not say better things about Dr Miranda hes an amazing doctor, I would not go anywhere else. He will go the extra mile for his patients. My son needed a x Ray to see if he had pnmonia on a Friday I didnt get a call before they closed I was so worried my son was so sick, he called me when the office was closed on Saturday said he got the results and he was in so if I could come in hed treat my son. Hes amazing. Im so greatful theres doctors like him.

Ive been taking my son to Dr Miranda for over 10 years. Now that I have twins I also take them there too. Like others DRs offices his is very busy but never anything outrageous.. He is very attentive and takes his time to answer questions during the visit. He is awesome with screaming babies! The front office staff is friendly but you do have to follow up on the paperwork aspect if you need something important. Their phone system is a mess and always has been but I just attribute that to him being so awesome and busy that everyone wants their children to be seen by him. I miss his P.A. Greg. Thomas is OK but he always seems rushed and he isnt really personable. He needs to work on his bedside manor a little but he gets the job done and he isnt rude. Overall, I love this Pediatricians office..

Our experience with Dr. Mirandas office was the single worst medical experience Ive had in 33 years. We were assigned Dr. Miranda as a PCP by our HMO. I called a couple of weeks ago to make an appointment for our 2 year olds physical. Due to extenuating circumstances (including all four of my children contracting whooping cough), we missed her Friday afternoon appointment. This is not something we have ever done before (missing an appointment). I called first thing Monday morning to apologize and reschedule, but was told that my daughter would not be seen as a patient any longer because she had missed the appointment. I then let the office know my other children needed to be tested for whopping cough and was told that Dr. Miranda would not see any of my children ever because we missed that initial appointment. Not only was I not advised of this policy when I scheduled the appointment, I did not receive a reminder call about the appointment prior to Friday (which would have helped me in the midst of all of the whooping cough hysteria), Ultimately, my children (who later tested positive for whooping cough) had to wait several days to receive medical care while we went through the red tape of having our insurance change our PCP. Furthermore, the callous indifference with which they treated us was truly shocking. I was aware at the inconvenience of a missed appointment and apologized profusely, assuring them that this was totally uncharacteristic behavior and would never be an issue in the future. But we were not even given the courtesy of his consideration, even after our health insurance company attempted mediation on our behalf.Ultimately, I am thankful we do not have Dr. Miranda as a doctor because I can only imagine the manner in which he treats his patients. I cannot emphasize enough our disgust and disappointment for this doctor, office and entire experience and have no problem writing this review (which incidentally, is the first negative review I have ever written for an individual or business). I would unequivocally advise anyone looking to obtain his services to reconsider. Good luck!

Dr. Miranda is a great doctor hands down because of him noticing our first child was showing delays by 3months he got him everything started for specialist and all of his different types of therapy going fast by 5 months these appointments were happening . Our son now is a miracle child because he is doing so much more then doctors said he should be doing all because of Dr.Miranda and his great medical experience.

I have been going there for 13 years with all 3 of my daughters. They are all so friendly and professional and the PA Thomas is great. Dr Miranda is very good and so nice he is a great doctor. Highly recommended.

Zero stars My daughter was so sick. I called to schedule an appointment staff was so rude told me they don’t have any appointment for the week and to go to hospital or urgent care. Two days later I called again to see if doctor could see my daughter due to she had a really bad ear infection and the girls front desk so rude and ignoring what I was telling them about my daughter her fever didn’t want go down and she was in pain due to earbinfection was not getting better and they told me to take him back to hospital or somewhere they take my insurance and told me they don’t have any appointment this week and not even the next week. I asked if I could speak with doctor and they said no you cannot hes busy and that she doubt he would accept to see her. Staff is so rude they were all saying things to each other and one of the girls that speak spanish there tried to help me but all the other rude staff told her Noo! And they never let me talk to the doctor. They are rude they careless about the kids health. Unprofessional. My daughter was in pain and her ear was getting worst. I cannot believe it. Worst experience ever. Also the big front desk staff told me that the doctor was the owner and that he can do whatever he wants.

Horrible office!! My childs medical records were to be transferred from the previous pediatrician. We signed the release and this office never received the records nor did they call to follow up on them. I found out 3 MONTHS LATER they never received them and now they want me to call the previous pediatrician to follow up with the records... Their reason for not calling me or the previous pediatrician, This is a high volume office and we do not check to see if records are received or not. We only scan records in if we receive them They also didnt check my childs iron levels but stated on the slip they gave me that I declined it. I would NEVER decline a test, and when I asked them about it they said that the iron was checked months ago and that they do not check again until the next visit.. I WILL be finding a new doctor ASAP!! Obviously this pediatrician has way too many patients so I will now help lighten the load.I would NEVER recommend this doctors office to ANYONE!!

I believe Dr.Raymond Miranda is the Best pediatrician in the entire fresno county , He is knowledgeable, resourceful, Friendly, Caring and extremely patient. He takes his time every time to answer all my questions, his Diagnoses are on the Spot and his follow ups are consistent every time. We have been going to his office since my Son Joshua was born in 2014 and continued when My daughter Marielle was born in 2016. His Office is clean and his staff are very professional, Helpful and efficient. My Husband and I always recommend Dr. miranda to our friends and We recommend him to anyone in fresno and clovis who is looking for a great Pediatrician.

I came to the office to pick up a form I arrived at 12:25 PM the sign said closed 12:30 to 100 for lunch and the door was already locked. So now I wait for 35 minutes.

I have been coming to Dr Miranda for 9 years he is one of the best he takes his time with you and ur children the wait sucks but its well worth it hes very caring and compassionate

This is the worst doctors office ever! The Doctors may be okay but the staff is awful. You can never get an appointment! When you do you have to wait on hold for over an hour to get one and then you are so rushed once you get to see the doctor.
