Be careful with this place. They will say and do anything to get you to spend more. The hygienist began telling me how bad my teeth were and that he could barely even clean them so I needed a deep cleaning. He scared me so much that I stopped going. I found a family dentist a couple years later and started going to them. They said that my teeth were fine, except for some plaque buildup, and that I definitely did not need a deep cleaning.My friend on the other hand was not so lucky and they talked him into a deep cleaning. Apparently this is their thing. So be cautious.Other than that they were fine. I only gave the two stars because they lie for money

I had gone to Bright Now Dental for a cleaning last summer and they did the preliminary X-rays beforehand (2.5 hour process but whole different story.) After the cleaning, they said that I had 4 cavities and scheduled an appointment to address them. I ended up moving to the Bay area before being able to get the procedure (priced at $1500). I had the fact that I had these rotting teeth in the back of my mind for the next 6 months, so as soon as I had dental insurance I found a reputable dentist. Lo and behold, after a new set of x-rays I was told I had NO cavities. Zero. So please tread cautiously! Chances are youre being scammed :/ I would recommend you get a second opinion elsewhere.

I was having dental pain and in search of a dental office that can could book me soon. I reached out to Bright now dental, the first person who attended to me over the phone was patient, professional and empathetic about my situation. Scheduled me for the following day. I have been to several dental offices and not returned due to lack of organization or unprofessionalism. However the moment I was called back at to be seen, the staff was so courteous and friendly. Dr. Chan was amazing, was able to take care of my dental issue all in one day. I felt valued. I will be bringing my family and I’m reassured they’ll be in good hands.

I’ve been coming here for a little over two years I’ve always had a decent experience. In the process of these two years I was always told they recommended an old tooth that had a root canal be redone. I was told they would find a facility that took my insurance and then I would be referred out, but it was never addressed as anything that could potentially be serious. In January I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled which was another experience of its own. After some pretty painful and serious complications I had a panoramic X-ray of my entire jaw. Where I was told everything looked fine. Fast forward 6 months later I began to have tooth pain I came in for a checkup for that specific tooth and was told I had made an appt for teeth cleaning and receptionist sort of went back and forth with me on it. Dr Chan came in and flat out told me I have a full on Infection and that my tooth cannot be saved. I would need bone graph and an implant I mentioned I also still had complications from my wisdom teeth extraction he just said to schedule to see the oral surgeon & then walked away moments later I was given a Rx for antibiotics by someone and I was told to see the receptionist for an appt and review of costs for treatment. (They didn’t even do my cleaning by the way even after I asked) once up front the gal told me my total cost would amount to $4000 and that most of it my insurance would not cover ! Then she proceeded to show me my “implant” only to be shown that I would be paying $4000 FOR A PARTIAL AND THE LOSE OF MY TOOTH!!! I asked for management but she was on vacation. They didn’t offer any alternative options they didn’t offer to refer me to a specialist like they were originally were suppose to years ago!! They failed then to mention this could have gotten to be this serious had they done so I would not have allowed this much time to pass! I trusted them ! I have gotten a second opinion regarding my tooth and it indeed can be saved and I do not have to loose $4000 or my tooth!! Just makes me really mad to think of all the money I’ve probably over paid them for services and for other patients ! And the horrible experience they put me through!! BEWARE!

Honestly Dr Chan, I wish you wouldve explained to me the plan of care. Personally I felt a little lost when the clerk was reviewing my dental history. You recommend a deep cleaning. I wasnt sure what a deep cleaning involved. Just because I had a deep cleaning 2 yrs ago? Did you see something on my xrays? My gum pockets havent changed for 2 yrs. No bleeding gums. The hygienist barely touched my teeth. I never had my teeth cleaned like that.

This was my dental office a few years ago, then I moved to Clovis & didnt need dental work for a while. I now have a bad tooth that needs extracting, so I went all the way back to this office for new xrays/evaluation because I was comfortable there. They are all VERY nice, my appointment was a very good experience & I scheduled my extraction with Dr. Chan for about 3 weeks later (due to my own scheduling/availability issues).Three weeks & 2 appointment confirmations later I got a call this morning (extraction day) explaining Dr. Chan says I actually need an oral surgeon to perform my extraction & the oral surgeon will be available Wednesday (which I wouldnt be able to schedule if I wanted to). Dr. Chan has been the only person to perform my dental work in the past (an extraction and a root canal) so I dont understand why I now need an oral surgeon, but there must be a reason. Nevertheless, they had 3 weeks to inform me of this rather than call me on the day of my appointment- which I was very much anticipating. I have a large hole in my tooth and it hurts. A lot. They did say I could get a deep cleaning today, if I wanted. I declined to drive across town for a cleaning; I NEED this tooth taken out of my head. It hurts.Im disappointed and surprised this happened. I am very apprehensive about dental work and I felt very comfortable there- to the extent I drove 30 minutes to visit this office even though there is another Bright Now 10 minutes away from my home.Ive since made a new appointment at the office closer to my home & hopefully Ill be able to get this painful tooth removed once and for all.

Bright Now Dental is a very good medical operation it is professional and staffed by knowledgeable people I am happy that I started going here and I trust both my doctor dentist and also my dental cleaning specialist my problems have been solved and I will keep going back

I was recommended to come here by my sister. I went in office, was seen by a dentist who assured me I would be all set to get Invisalign and won’t be a problem. I was told they had trouble finding my insurance so they’d call me tomorrow. Each time I never got a call back, I repeatedly had to call back every single day for 4 days. After calling for the 4th time the associate said she already had insurance info... I told them I’m planning to pay full price for Invisalign, they told me if I was free to come in same day. I went in the office and they charged my card full price etc. Next thing I know the lady is calling me back telling me I cannot get Invisalign because the dentist said they won’t be able to based off the structure of my teeth. After discussing it she gets me in touch with dentist to “explain it to me better”. The dentist acted as if he had no clue I told him I wanted Invisalign even though he clearly he was stating Invisalign and trying to apologize while also trying not to take full blame.. Then they had to fully refund me after they just charged me. I’m so glad I didn’t stay with this dental office. I ended up going to Fresno Smile Makeovers (Best dental office ever), I now have Invisalign and they are going to make cosmetic changes at the end so it works out for the way my teeth are. I’m glad I found someone who knew what they were doing and it was 2k cheaper. This place was a waste of time and super unprofessional from the very start.

The doctors and nurses are very nice. I love that they explain everything and they never make you feel bad or embarrassed about your issues. They’re very understanding and reassuring and they find ways to help you out financially.

Too way expensive. I had two tooth extracted and have my insurance, still charged me over $1,400. I guess, they took advantage of my pain. The dentist, only spend less than a hour to perform the procedure and he don’t even come back to say how I’m doing. What a experience to non- professional and too expensive dental office!

I have been to several dentist office, this one is by far my favorite. The staff are so welcoming, and kind hearted. Dr. Chan is also very kind, and easy to talk to. I love coming here. They all work in such a professional manner. This is the only dentist office I have been to where I don’t feel anxiety or discomfort. I love this dentist office!

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, my whole family is seen here. Today Wait time here was horrible! Waited an hour to get seen for a simple ortho checkup (new rubber bands) Not sure what was going on with staff today but they weren’t very pleasing.

They are all about the money not about their clients. Its how much they can get from you. Not interested in this kinda business. They wanted over $600 for a deep cleaning which is a ridiculous amount. Thousands to repair my teeth. Do not plan on returning..... Go here only if you have that kind of money to spend. Not a good match for anyone on medicare.

And it is amazing how carefully he gives shots so there is no pain. They keep us informed, so we are told when a cavity might be forming and need correcting. The service was excellent! Especially Dr. Chan, is very professional and kind. My complaint is about the 10$ surcharge for the patients protection! It should be your responsibility to protect your customers anyway. Keeping everything clean, providing mask, and checking temperatures fall within the state of California protocol. At a time when people are out of work and having trouble putting food on the table to feed their families this fee is inappropriate. When so many people and companies are giving back to the people, you seem to be using this horrible time to make a profit. I think this fee should be suspended at this time, and anyone who has charged this fee deserves to be reimbursed. Thank you PS

Unsatisfied with the help I received

Transferred here from the other location because I was no longer satisfied with the service at that location. I am happy to report that this transfer was a great decision. The dentist here is very informative and great with kids and the staff is very friendly. The staff accommodate with my schedule changes when possible and are very helpful. My youngest son absolutely loves coming to the dentist and excitedly anticipates his visits. Not to mention they have a great orthodontist on staff my children do not fear any ortho visits at this office and thats how it should be. I am glad I made the switch for my family to come to this office.

Been going for years now! Every staff member has been great! I’m not a fan of the dentist but they make the process easy!

They should receive less than a star. When I first went to them they came up with a plan to do a lot of work in my mouth which I could not afford. It would have cost me over $1,000 to do what they wanted to do. I informed them I am on a fixed income and I could not afford to do this type of work. Even after that they still got me approved for in-house financing which would have been a fortune for me to pay monthly. When I asked Dr. Chan to do just an extraction he refused saying he would only stick to his plan. The last time I checked this is my mouth and a doctor should honor what I want done in my mouth. Then they referred me to as one of their oral surgeons. They scheduled me a day before I would have received my money in the mail. They were going to charge my insurance company five times the amount of money that I wanted them to just wait for one day for me to pay them. They could not wait one day for me to pay them only $30. Then when I left the office I came up with the $30 in less than 10 minutes. When I went back into the office and said I had the money can I still have the extraction done. The lady said yes you still can have it done and then she came back and told me the doctor was backed up and he couldnt see me. This was totally unbelievable and unacceptable. You see reviews stating that they would work with you however they are a lie. If they were going to work with me they could have waited one day to receive $30. I had to find another dentist in order to get an extraction done which I really needed to have done that day. This is a horrible place to go to. If you are thinking of going here to have work done and think that they are going to work with you I would find another place to go. It is also unbelievable that they would not honor what I wanted to have gun in my mouth. Again I am saying my mouth. This office is nothing much money hungry. Theyre going to try to gouge your insurance company and you at the same time. Please please if you need to have something done do not go to this dentist. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go. Ultimately in the end it was Gods plan for me not to have work done here. The service was nice and friendly. But, their prices are double the price of most dentist normal prices and try to sell you their dental plan for $79. With that plan the prices are more in line with regular dental prices. Then once you say no to the dental plan, the friendly service is gone. Just not a fan of doubling the prices of service to sell a plan then reducing prices to where they should be. Just seems like they are trying to pull one over on us.

Dr. Chan and his office staff are superb! I used to have the worst fear of going to the dentist, but Dr. Chan really made me feel at home.My last dental visit being 3+ years ago, I expected a major overhaul since I was having some pain in my front tooth. I didnt have a lot of extra cash lying around for expensive dental treatment, but his staff offered me payment plans at a discounted fee. I was hesitant at first, and decided to wait after learning I needed a root canal, crown and some fillings. After doing some research, and because my tooth started to hurt more, I finally gave in and decided it was time to go through a root canal or risk losing my front tooth.Dr. Chan was very gentle, and performed the root canal like a champ. He also took a great number of photos so that my crown for my front tooth will match the rest of my teeth. He mentioned that matching a single crown would be very difficult, and for any reason if I am not satisfied, before its glued on, I can have it redone at no charge. Luckily, my crown came back perfect and I have been pain free since.Its rare to find a dentist that really cares about his patients and quality of dental work. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and his staff!

Normally dont like going to the dentist, but Dr. Chan and Mark have made me very happy that I went to this location. Mark has a very soft hand when it comes to the cleanings, and Dr. Chan was able to get my work done for me in almost no time. Very friendly dental assistants and front office staff. I’ve been going here for 2 years. I’m 19 years old. They don’t treat patients who are teenagers with equal respect as middle age adult patients. Staff at desk lies about availability and scheduling appointments and dental assistant left me with unfitted retainers and said it was my problem I can’t come to their appointments therefore they will leave me with unfitted retainers. Until I brought my father in they brought in the dentist and for some reason they had about 10 openings available for appointments. This was very unprofessional.

A week after scheduling my appointment they suddenly cancelled a procedure two days beforehand, and informed me they had scheduled me elsewhere, for a significantly higher price, without my consent, violating HIPPA procedures by giving my personal and medical information to another practice without my permission. This company has an F rating with the BBB for a reason. Extremely unethical and unprofessional. Stay far away.

I hadnt scheduled an appointment in 2 years (yikes! I know...), and I always have pretty bad anxiety about going to my dental appointments, so I REALLY was not looking forward to my recent appointment. The dentist and all the wonderful ladies up front were great! They got me checked in quickly and into the chair to get the appointment started. I have been noticing that I have been clenching my jaw a lot lately due to stress, the dentist helped me to understand the effects of intense jaw clenching and helped to ease my anxiety!This dental office is speedy and really cares about getting their patients the best care. Staff is friendly, they honor your appointment time and I am very happy with my results using Invisalign.

Went in for dental emergency today (Saturday) they scheduled me at 1:00pm (they close at 2) I am 9 months pregnant with horrible toothache haven’t been able to eat or anything and my OB cleared me for extraction/root canal etc. they called and verified with him and everything. Finally got settled in the back it’s about 1:58 I told them to extract and the girl goes over to dr young and I hear them talking she says something around the lines of “she wants to opt for extraction” he replies “well okay that should be fine but it will be over time we will be here till about 3” they laughed and then followed by mumbling. He comes in and looks and says we need to check with your doctor mind you they have already checked with my doctor. He then starts to tell me how I shouldn’t opt for extraction and it’s dangerous and just trying to convince me to not do it. I said I understand but I already made up my mind. He leaves and comes back and says I think we should give you antibiotics and pain meds. I said I can only take Tylenol (due to pregnancy) and it’s not helping he said yeah but the pain will go away with antibiotics. I said I still want the extraction. He keeps making excuses as to why I shouldn’t do it even tells me it can be life threatening. Then he said he called a friend who is an oralSurgeon and he told him not to do it. At this point I get that they do not want to do it so I get up and walk out. Mind you my dentist is doing it but I couldn’t get in till Monday but it’s been so bad I wanted it done sooner guess I’ll have to wait anyways. TAKE BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Will also be calling and complaining Monday.

I went in with my brother for his appointment and we waited there for an hour just to have them send us home. Nothing was done. We wasted an hour there, my brother missed work for this. After providing my insurance card, I sat in my seat to continue filling out paperwork, the receptionist would get up & walk all the way to were I was sitting to Personally hand me my stuff. After walking to back, every one was very friendly, the dr was very professional & nice. The dr had me watch a short video on the procedure I had no knowledge of. Then was given an estimate & payment plan if I wanted. I would recommend to everyone!! Even the customer service is great.

I feel robbed. I went in for 2 cavity fills and agreed on silver due to the substantial price difference. It was going to come out to $30. After the job had been completed and it was time to pay I was shocked to see a $128 bill. I was never notified prior to the cavity filling, but they had opted for the white filling instead of silver due to recent sensitivity. The receptionist claims she left a message to notify me of the change, and as I was getting the job done it was too late for her to give me a heads up because she was on her lunch break. I have a high pain tolerance and could have very easily dealt with a bit of sensitivity with the silver fillings. I am a college student and the $128 came out of my pockets. I deserved to have heard my options prior to the work being done and all in all I felt that it was dishonest.

1+ hr for consultation. 1+ hr for xray. 1+ hr for teeth check up. Was told about another hr wait for cleaning. We left after 3+ hrs. Make sure you take the whole day off to visit their office. Bring a pillow.

I have been going to Bright Now for the past year. It has been a great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I went in Feb 2019 they told me that they are in network provider but I got a bill for 174$ .... the dentist (young) told me that my pain is prob from my jaw and he can see tiny cavities but doesnt think they will cause any pain no need to fill them. Told me they will do a cleaning and thats it. I refused the cleaning and left in pain..... fast forward 2 weeks later another dentist told me I have 4 cavities that are on the medium size that need a filling. Fast foward to March 10th i went to again another dentist to confirm whats going on since I am getting mixed stories...and 4 cavities again same answer ...Very disappointed on the diagnosis I got while being treated here... I will be reporting to whomever and taking the report from this office along with others to BBB and whomever else needs to know how sorry the dentist was here and mis diagnosing I just hope its not to late for the fills and not the next step to a root canal.Only thing great is that they had a sat appt open and its a nice office (clean and new)

Dr Chan is a very good dentist,and he care a lot about his patients. he goes the extra mile to explain things to his patients. Like for example he showed me how to floss with my new partials. Cause I have to use these floss threaders. And he asked me if knew to use them, and i said not really so he took the time to show me how.Dr Chans assistant Michelle is nice and kind,she very good withe patents and shes very efficient and professional. and also his other assistants is efficient professional.They both have a real good sense of humor. They love to joke with patients,and have fun at work as well. they always come to work with a smile on their face.mark is really good as a dental hygienist, He does an excellent job cleaning your teeth. Hes fast and efficient as well. He also loves to have fun at work to . mark has a good sense of humor. Loves to joke and talk. Especially if yourre talking about movies.Angelia is the backbone for the entire office including the front desk by answering calls, helping people filling out forms,and making right choice on youre payment plans. shes nice and kind and very professional. She knows what needs to be done ,for Dr Chan.Like ordering supplies, making sure that he has so much of everything. Like supplies forms and etc.Now to tell you what I think of the office. Its nice and tidy and well kept. It makes me feel like I never left home. I feel like Dr Chan Decided to me a house call. Ire never seen a dentist office like this one. Will my very first visit at this office was a little new and scary for me. Cause its hard for me to get use to new places. Especially when it comes to going to the dentist. But when i had to get crowns put on Dr. Chan was so nice and sweet and kind to me. He told me everything he was going to to, before he did it. he even went over the procedure with me. And he asked if i had any questions . Witch thats what i like about Dr.Chan. And another thing he has a very good sense of humor.And his assistance are very nice and kind, and also sweet. And they also have a real good sense of humor.And Angela that runs the front of the office is real helpful and nice, she goes the extra mile to make sure you understand all the paper work. That needs to be filled out. Or if you are setting up a payment plan she will go over every little detail that you need to know.And Mark the dental hygienist will he is very nice. Hes fast at what he does he gets you in and gets you out. So you can enjoy the rest of your day and the same goes for Dr.Chan. These to do not fool around they get right down to bussines and get started on what needs to be done.The whole office is nice neat and clean everything is so efficient and tidy and organized They made this office nice and homey to make you feel comfortable being there.And i can honestly say that i like it there. Im glad that my mom found this place for me. its not easy for me to feel safe and comfortable at a dentist. i just would get scared. but im not scared no more.Im happy a person when i go there. I Know this might seem like a lot to type but i had a lot to say. A nd im glad that i get this chance to voice my opinion.
