I was very nervous to have a biopsy. The dental assistant was very nice and patient. She explained everything in detail and didnt make me feel rushed. She was thorough with x-rays and prepping me for the the Dentist. The dentist was straight to the point. He worked fast and without a heavy hand (thank God) . The office staff were all friendly and welcoming. I especially liked my dental assistant. She was extremely nice. I dont remember her name but she has the long black hair and the big holes in her ears. Thank you...I Really appreciate your help.

It took me 7 years to finally have my wisdom teeth pulled out. I finally found an honest dentist office. I usually have had bad experiences at the dentist, however, this was the best experience I had ever had with the dentist. The staff kept the office clean, the staff was professional, overall, I recommend those who wish to find an outstanding dentist office. Thank you so much. I hope to pass on the gift of doing great things for others in the community one day. It’s great to know there are still good people in the world.

I had an appointment for 11 am I got there at 10 :30 filled out the necessary paperwork. And waited finally at 12:50 went to the back finally saw the dentist ..well briefly he did not step all the way into the room and never looked in my mouth ..and then decided I needed a medical release from my Dr. So I returned with it and they will call. So how do you think it went.

It was my first time going to an actual specialist. I just had my X-rays done and well, they were amazing. They scheduled my procedure to remove my wisdom teeth the next week which was amazing! The gentleman who helped get my X-rays was very outgoing and made my worries go away. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

The place was clean and they do sanitize the place. Bathroom was clean also. The negative was that I came in 30 mins early and finished paperwork before my appointment time, but I had to wait 2 hours to go in and for some reason, I was the last one to be called in and the last one out, even though I certainly wasnt the last person to check in. I couldnt get any work done, because it was pass their closing time already by the time I was called in. Drop a star for the waiting time and another star, because others got to go in before me, even though I came way earlier and was early for my appointment, even after filling out paperwork. 3 stars is pretty generous considering I waited 2 hours and couldnt get any work done.

The wait time was a little longer than I would have liked but once I was in the back, timing wasn’t an issue at all. When it comes to the dentist, I have severe anxiety so they were really nice and considerate of my nervousness. Plus their updated technology is so much more convenient than the old school method of dental X-rays!

My whole experience was terrible. I was waiting I outside for 20 minutes on hold until I finally just came inside because it was ridiculous. I was asked if I had printed out a form, had no idea. Made me do a simple 5 question screening and then they had me fill out papers. I had a relative with me, grandmother, making sure I had filled my stuff out right and a woman who worked there had the audacity to come out and say in a rude-loud tone that she couldn’t be there and I’m old enough. Excuse me? She’s elderly and was making sure I was good to go since I’m a young adult. After I did get called back, I was consulted and told I obviously needed my wisdom teeth out. The doctor was there and his assistant told me he would be out for 3 weeks and asked if it was okay. I’m in pain! Terrible experience. So bad that I went to my previous DDS right after where I got my previous wisdom teeth extracted 6 years ago in Selma. With them I got seen within 10 minutes and set up an appointment. Easy as that. I would not recommend this place. Staff is not friendly, they’re impatient, and very rude with ridiculous procedures.

First time going today & all I can say is that everyone was amazing I am glad they were able to take out both of my wisdom teeth 🦷 the same day ❤️😊

Got my wisdom teeth removed here, the staff were reassuring and honest before the procedure so there were no surprises. Comforted me when the medication kicked in and it was a very nice experience overall :)

Lina, if I remember her name correctly, is such a sweet girl! A gentlemen with longish hair and tattoos, (seemed like the doctors main assistant) was also amazing! He was such a big support in making me feel less anxious and reminding me everything was going great through my procedure. I came in today to get my wisdom teeth removed, and although it is so much pain, they both did an amazing job in handling me. The doctor was amazing too! He did not make me wait a long time, and he did his work very quickly.All three employees need a raise ASAP! You don’t get that treatment anywhere. :)

The service I received was great 👍🏼. It took me longer to fill out the form then the actual extraction of my wisdom tooth. I had two taken out and doctor Juan A. Made it a lot less painful then I expected. Thank you for taking care of my tooth problem that I prolonged for so long.

The front desk staff was all helpful. The wait was extremely long. My family comes from a long line of dentists and doctors. The dental assistant requested my moms medical chart / medications and we explained to her that her blood sugar went up to 262 after eating and she didnt want to pull 8 of her teeth at a time. The dentist came in said we need to pull all! I told him we can do two for now and he kept insisting that he was the one who knows best and that if dont like then go back to regular dentist. Kept arguing with me and finally I said did you her blood sugar went up to 262? She needs her teeth to eat!!! The dental assistant was there for the whole conversation and finally told him that. So he insisted to do what we requested. Then when he got around to pulling my moms tooth HE YANKED HER HAIR BACK SO HARD.Never in my life I had this encountered with THE WORST DENTIST!!!! Beware they are only after your money dont care.

My visit to Dr Alzates Dental office was a great experience!! I was given a soon appointment, my appointment was for a consultation on my wisdom tooth. The dentist was able to extract the same day.. it took him 2 minutes!! No pain what so ever. The staff and Dentist was amazing. Very clean and organized office. Definitely recommend!! Thank You Dr Nadeem & Staff.

The only good thing I have to say it is that it was very clean. If you have time to spend 2 hours just for the x rays to be taken, and another hour waiting for the dentist to give his 5 second opinion and leave, then you are in the right place.

Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Nadeem. I was a little nervous as they dont do any sort of sedation or gas, only shots to numb but it went really well.To start, the office staff was lovely. Kind and helpful.Second, the two dental assistants I worked with were amazing!The first, for the initial appt was over the top with kindness and information to put me at ease. She answered questions and made sure I felt comfortable.The second who assisted with the actual procedure was super awesome. She distracted me with fun conversation when I got a little nauseated after the shots, she answered my questions and was very supportive and helpful during the procedure.As for Dr Nadeem, if youre looking for a friend or someone that will hold your hand and be gentle, this is not your guy. If you want someone who will do a good job, be efficient and get you the heck out and on with your day...hes it!Him administered the shots and left while we waited a bit. When I was numb and sounded like my tongue had quadrupled in size he came back in and went to work.Popped two out in literally a minute. The third felt a little painful still. He stopped immediately, gave me another shot, and popped the third one out while the other one numbed a little more. The last one came out fine after that and I was done in like, 5 minutes.It was easy and quick and I was out the door. So glad I did it!

If i could give 0 stars i definitely would. I had a appointment at 2:30 didn’t get seen till around 3:30. the dental assistant was super kind and walked me through as soon as the man came things went downhill. first he was extremely rough with the needle like super painful just shoved it into the roof of my mouth and gums. he then leaves for not even 3 minutes!!!! and begins to extract my wisdom teeth forcing my jaw to the left with so much force i then began crying of the pain keep in mind i can feel everything he then gives me another shot to numb which helps a little but then he tugs in my lower tooth and it hurt extremely bad !! i will never return to this dentist again they should shut it down he is too rough and doesn’t even care is in a rush and doesn’t even explain!

The waiting was kind of slow, I got out of there within two hours. But the procedure was quick. The staff was suuuuuuper nice and friendly. The Dr. was rough with the needle and he had no patience as soon as my gums were numb he just yanked my teeth out without a warning and the needle hurt so bad. I normally don’t cry with needles but that one I did. I had a few tears.

The assistant was nice and calmed me down but the dr was so unprofessional!! I just left the office from getting my wisdom tooth removed and I wanted to look at his reviews to see if I was the only one that thought this but no I see a few that felt the same . He kept telling me to calm down and I had my other side removed before and it did not feel this way. He didn’t even let me know he was going to numb it he just said open mouth and poked me so fast and rough , it hurt so bad . I am terrified of the dentist and my primary dentist was not able to extract my teeth so he referred me out too Juan Alcatel Dental Corp. I must say they did a very good job I didn’t feel anything. staff is very professional and they are very empathetic I would recommend and I will also go here should I ever need any more extractions.

Worked here for only a week and the doctor is very rude. he doesn’t talk to his employees if he does he talks to you disrespectful. if you complain about it they’ll say “you’ll get use to it” in my opinion it’s not a friendly place to work. love the employees! As for the patients. 2 walked out due to his attitude and how rough he is. He doesn’t sit and talk to his patients about the procedure. Remind you, only worked here for one week. definitely one star. Im relieved that they removed my bottom wisdom tooth but at the same time i thought it was inconsiderate that while the procedure was happening, they sliced my tongue a little making the aftermath more painful... I mean in my opinion this should never happen period sounds like a malpractice to me... Especially how he was yanking me all around and told me to relax... The staff was friendly kind and ressuring. Today I had an appointment here, I was sooooo scared!! Then I came inside, which I’ve never been here before and immediately I was greeted by a very nice lady at the front window! Then when I was called back the lady that did my X-rays and assisted the doctor helped me relax explained everything to me and made me feel so much more comfortable.. The doctor was a little rough but my tooth that was being extracted had curved roots so really wasn’t his fault!! By far this is one of the best places I’ve been in a very long time

I went in for my top wisdom teeth extraction and let me tell you how much anxiety I had from the numbing but the assistant did a good job at calming me down! Muhammad Nadeem did an amazing job by quickly taking them out. The process was smooth and quick.

Don’t go here!!! It’s awful. I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed last Thursday by the middle eastern dr (I don’t remember his name) he was very, very, VERY rough, told me to stop moving around when he was the one yanking my mouth every which way. The assistant wasn’t very nice either. Had an attitude with any of my questions and wouldn’t even turn around to answer them, she kept her back to me the whole time. I am currently VERY bruised and swollen and this is 5 days after the procedure. I would not recommend this place. I would give this place 0 stars if I could.

Took out all 4 wisdom teeth fast

Ive been waiting for a crown for my tooth for over a year now. Ive had about 4-5 impressions done on the same tooth because they could never get it right. Also, it shouldnt take over a month for the crown to be received from the lab EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. My teeth would have been shifted by then, thus having to have a new impression done every time. The last time I got an impression was a few months ago and Ive been calling every week to see if theyve received it from the lab and every single time, the person on the phone would say Well call you back, the person whos on charge of that is on lunch or busy at the moment. And not once have I received a call back. Im here just living my life with a shaven down tooth with the risk of infection every single minute that passes. Not sure if this kind of neglect is even legal. My crown is sitting on a shelf in some random lab until someone cares enough to actually obtain it, that is if it even exists at this point. How much do you want to bet that by the try to put it on, itll be time for another impression. Ive been waiting to receive a crown all this time so then I can finally get braces or invisalign to straighten my smile but clearly this issue has been an ongoing setback for me physically and emotionally. Never in my life have I ever been so upset with a company.

I was very pleased with the staff and cleanliness of the Doctors office. Everyone there did a good job examining my teeth and deciding what needed to be done to fix my dental problems. Im really looking forward to going back to this dentist to get them fixed because Ive been trying to get it done for quite awhile already. The other dentists Ive been to acted like it didnt matter if I got them fixed or not.Thank you!

I give the star to the front office and the 1 dental assistant who helped during my procedure. They were great. The dentist and his male assistant get a zero stars from me.The dentist showed absolutely NO empathy what so ever. He didnt seem to care that I was hurting, just kept telling me to relax and its my fault if I dont relax. He seemed rushed, hurried through the extraction and left a huge gapping hole where my tooth was. My cheek, and the gums around the surrounding teeth are bruised. It is the worst pain I have ever had with a tooth extraction.The Dr has entirely to much going on, he has several offices in the same complex, Im not sure what they dining each office but I feel like its the patient care that suffers.I would NOT recommend this office

Got 3 of my wisdom teeth out today. The assistants were nice and they made me feel comfortable but the dentist I had (which wasnt Juan Alzate) it was some other dentist. I felt the pressure and some pain during the pulling, I asked him to stop and he told me to calm down. The assistant who was helping him, talked me through it and i felt somewhat better. The dentist here needs to work more on patient care and ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE PATIENT INSTEAD OF GETTING MAD THAT THEIR IN PAIN.

I needed to have 2 teeth pulled. Needless to say I was uneasy to be there. Staff was very friendly and explained everything. Of course, not painless but quick and efficient. I would recommend Juan Alzate Dental Corp to anyone.

Overall that was pretty bad but ill update next time i go.Ok second visit now and it went alot better they got me in fast and pulled 5 teeth really quick and got me what i needed and info I needed so after this second visit ive changed my stars to 4.

Absolutely loved the staff....very professional and compassionate. Doctor is straight down to buisness as his staff has gone over everything already with you prior and post procedure... I had extensive work done today 19 teeth pulled at once....very little discomfort and they were patient and informative throughout the 20 to 25 min procedure...incredible right? I am not joking...Im on my way to a new smile...i am grateful and appreciative. However after 19 teeth being pulled youd think theyd administer stronger pain pills.. Overall GREAT

Was very nervous coming here because xrays and my gag reflex. But the dental assistants there were Top Notch 💯made feel very comfortable. Drs assistant was very experienced and helped get me through my surgery. Walking out saw the Dr. and thanked him.The walked me out and I was happy with everything...except with my mouth full of gauze I couldnt thank her😥.So Ill do it here..Thank You Very Much!!Definitely RecommendedJC

The doctors assistant really did make sure to make me comfortable which made the procedure less daunting and less scary. Had to remove all 4 wisdomteet.And if felt pain during just ask and they numb you so you can have less pain.Which help a lot.Doctor and his aassistant were very accommodating.In and out within the hour.Overall do recommend.

This doctor is very unprofessional. The assistants were kind to me, but Dr. Alzate was very rude and inconsiderate. Before the procedure, I let him know I was scared and nervous and he said “Aw poor baby, well this is your fault, it’s not mine”. During the procedure, I asked him to stop and he proceeded until the assistant held my hand since I was crying and then that’s when he decided to stop and numbed me more. He also kept telling me to stop crying. Even during my evaluation, Dr. Alzate was not communicating with me and was inattentive. After the procedure was over, the assistant was better at helping and instructing me on what to do and how I would feel for the next few days. Do not go to this location, you can find a good doctor at another location who will care for their patients.

My niece had an appt on Oct. 3rd for a consult. We went and also went ahead and scheduled an appointment to get dental work done for her. We were asked by the girl who sets up the appointments what day would be best. I told her a Wednesday would be the best option. We went ahead and scheduled for Oct 19th. On that day of the 19th, she had an earlier appt. For something else, after that we had breakfast and then headed over to This place for her appt. ( i did not take her to school or home because we live outside of Fresno, and it would of been pointless for her to go to school for an hour just to get pulled back out for the visit, the trips werent worth the time spent driving and gas.) when we got there we were informed that she was not even on the schedule, they looked around their computers to find her name and nothing. They couldnt even find a future appt they said. I was annoyed with myself for not having the business card which had the date of the appt. Anyway, they made me feel dumb, and said they would reschedule her for another day ( they didnt even know what it was they were scheduling her for!!) i told them i had to see what days we were available for another visit since it is an inconvenience for us, since we live outside of fresno. I came home to look for the card and found it! It reads 10/19/16 @11:30am. Oh they also offered for me to return after their lunch which was at 2pm. I told them no thank you. I do not plan on staying in Fresno all day, and i also had my other niece and nephew to pick up from school. I told them i would give them a call. Needless to say, i will never return to them. Unfortunately i can not say if Dr. Alzate is a good dentist or not, since we did not get to meet. But as far as the girls in the front. They SUCK!

I am so happy that I decided to come here I have not been to a dentist in over 10 years do to a traumatizing experience at Western dental everyone here in the office starting with the receptionist were so pleasant and kind the young lady that did my x-rays was phenomenal thank you so very much for this pleasant experience.

I had surgery today , had all four wisdom teeth removed. The assistants were comforting, humorous, and sweet . Although piece of advice assistants *DO NOT * discuss other patient’s medical history in front of another patient.Dr. Nadeem did my surgery by the way . He’s rude and inconsiderate of people’s pain tolerances. I was legit in pain crying and raising my hand for him to stop and he did stop a few times; but when the pain got EXCRUCIATING he would tell me “put your hand down!” or “open your mouth more!” etcPiece of advice for the dr try to appeal more genuine . It’s tragic Dr.’s do things in a rush like the patient doesn’t matter *every patient counts* Remember without us patients you’re nothing... Someone needed to call you guys out 😊

Do not go here. If you’re aren’t a big fan of the dentist, don’t go here because he is rude and does not care if you’re feeling scared or in pain. He’ll tell you “don’t cry” “poor baby” “that’s your fault not mine”. 100% do not recommend to see Dr. Alzate.

Had wisdom teeth extracted, although that is not a pleasant experience, the assistant that was present was very nice. (Fadi-wish I knew the true spelling of his name) He continuously made sure that I was doing okay and even when I felt I wasn’t, he assured me that I was. He also picked good music to play in the background! Fadi, thanks for the cool experience that I will be sure to share with others in the future lol. Also, thankful for my dentist Dr. Antonio Relucio Jr who found this place for me! Will definitely recommend to others!

I was going to a well known dentist in Porterville,,,they had to bring me in 3 different times for x-rays,, I asked y and they told me they sent off the wrong documentation, the last time I went in they got my file and it was blank,, So they wanted to redo the hole thing ,,,at that point since it had been 5 months with nothing but x-rays done ,I was done. ,,,. I asked around and I got told Juan Alzate was the best and the best service, So my wife called ,went in and from day one they had my back,,, they walked me thru each proseger and asked me was that ok and at that point I was blown away after having such short care from a supposed to be tear one dentist. I have many medical problems and they where adviced,,and they made it possible for my wife to come in and help ,,mind you my safety was there priority, Rodger the dentist working with me just made the whole experience awesom. So if you have health problems and cant find a dentist do to your condition, look no further,,they had my back they will have yours. Thank you again Juan Alzate {Rodger}. Se you in two weeks. Staff was super kind. Made me feel comfortable as soon as i walked through the doors. My care was explained thoroughly. Office was clean and wait time was more than acceptable.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THESE CHEATERS, IN ADDITION TO INEFFICIENT AND MEDIOCRE, DID ME A DENTAL JOB THAT THEY DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DO AND HAD TO SEND ME SOMEWHERE ELSE, I PAY AND THEN THEY RETURN ME THE MONEY WITHOUT EXPLANATION, MRS. MARY SHOULD BE FIRE OUT, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM, THEY DO NOT SHOW THE FACE TO MEDIATE, THEY ACT IN THE SHADOWS LIKE THIEVES.

I was referred to Dr. Alzate by Western Dental for a possible root canal. They were one of 2 places that would accept my insurance. I drove almost 5 hours to get there.. I had an appointment at 11 and waited until almost 12:30 to be seen. While I was in the waiting room, one of the receptionists lost a patients medical card and ID! This should of been red flag number one. They brought me in and took x-rays, then I was told to go wait in the waiting room for 30 more minutes! Ive never had to wait so long at the dentist and they didnt even give me any paperwork! 2 1/2 hours later, I was out of there. Terrible, just terrible!!
