Its a good place to get your workout done. I generally use the treadmill and stationary bikes. I use the back room sometimes to do some of the exercises. Everyone at the front desk is friendly. No complaints from me.

This gym has helped a little with fat loss, but main Keep Active Health and Wellness Emerald Laser has expedited my fat loss journey. I highly recommend Keep Active Health & Wellness. They are right down the street.

Gym is great - staff and transparency, not so much. Have been a member for a few years and always bring my spouse with me. Since we have the black card membership, she is always able to come as my guest. One instance we had involved the guy at the register stating that my spouses account was overdue and had been for several years and that we owed around $60. When inquiring they seemed to have the wrong person as the name was the same but everything else including phone number and address was wrong. We were told she cannot come since she has an overdue balance.We ended up cancelling our membership (no big deal). What really got me was the confirmation email containing the reason for cancelling, and they said we cancelled Due to COVID-19. I find it funny that they are finding any excuse they can to reflect gym cancellations for this, when in fact it is not true. I called to let them know the reason why we cancelled it, and that providing cancellations such of this is not factual, and that it needed to be changed. Whether they did that or not, Ill never know... but dont sensationalize things that dont need to be.

They appear to clean, but Ive been to a few PF and they CLEAN..but my main issue is the shower. I was there every day fri,sat,sun,mon..I used the SAME shower, the last one. On Fri there was a pink razor top there, and as I write this on Monday, its still there AFTER I asked the young lady..do they clean the showers?, after I watched her half a%% clean the toilet and wipe down the sink. She looked at me so dumbfounded and said..um, I think so, I just started lol.. are you kidding me?That is totally unacceptable. I couldnt take a pic bc there was a lady using the shower when I decided to write this review.Im sorry, but the same shower shoe marks have been visible, the build up on the walls and soap dish..let alone the hair that was in the drain..There were 4 ladies at the front counter on my way out just taking up space..maybe they should use their time a little more productively..implement a chart so theyll have a reference and accountability

Planet Fitness at Eagle Village is a clean, well-run club. It is consistently busy, even at the very early morning hours. The front desk staff is pleasant and helpful. What I find odd is that they open on Mondays at 6 AM. So does the other PF club in town, so its not just this location. If they opened even a little earlier, say 5 AM, it would help. I dont know if thats due to Covid or if that has always been the case here, but I hope they open up earlier on Monday at some point soon.

Have MS, cancelled membership because of not being able to walk well. Only went one time. Asked staff person to cancel for me. She did-sort of. She said I was in a trial and would not be charged. I get a bill a month later for $23. Spoke to manager Jordan Rodgers. No help whatsoever. Could not understand that someone on her staff had told me i would not be charged, and/or she refused to issue refund under circumstance. You signed a contract. Did not care that the desk person had wrongly told me I would not be charged. Only kept saying she was not responsible because she was not there. She refused to provide any way of talking with either her manager, Sarah Mathis, or the owner, Bill Asbell. I had joined this same gym 3 other times before. Certainly will never again.What a terrible customer service experience. All over $23 they could not part with to make up for their employee mistake. Extremely unhappy with this gym.

Great place, definitely feel comfortable there which says a TON. I deal with social anxiety so its hard to pump myself up to go workout but, once the meter is down I love going! Everyone has been really friendly, the staff definitely keep up with sanitation and the locker room always looks nice !

Great staff especially the late nighters. Exceptional cleaning supplies and sanitizer available with assistance on machines. The app definitely helps you keep track of your progress and more. This is a quiet yet pumped location. Me and my 17 year love going after work so she can get in some training time for her sports since workouts are still limited at the moment. We got the 10$ a month plan and it is worth more by far.

Very friendly staff an excellent job on cleanliness of equipment but could do much better on sanitizing those tanning beds, hydromassage beds and massage chairs for sure.

The manager Jordan Rodgers is extremely unprofessional, unfriendly and offers the lowest quality customer service I’ve ever experienced. Jordan Rodgers could STRONGLY benefit from some serious customer service training. Highly recommend attending any location other than this one.

Awesome fitness center plenty of machines treadmills free weights etc. Nice friendly staff management clean showers massage rooms tanning beds etc. Only con for me is lack of sauna room would give perfect 5 stars but would highly recommend also very affordable monthly prices

So you threaten to cancel membership over not having a mask when you walk 2 feet in the front door but when you work out you don’t have to wear one. Let me add the fact I now have counted 20 people with no mask walking around however you single me and my buddy out. If you’re scared of covid DONT go to a gym or work at one.

I went into the gym today. I did not have my card and asked the clerk to log me in. Mind you, Im just returning from Afghanistan and again I did not have my card. She commenced to tell me about the mobile app. Okay understood the gym is directing their participants to the mobile app. I stood there for a good 10 minutes trying to get the Mobile app up, yet the clerk did not log me in so I can workout. This was very frustrating and unprofessional especially when I was ready to workout. I have been with PF, specifically this one, for a long time and to be treat like that was undeserving.I walked out and I will be pulling my money and membership.

Edit: The showers continue to be disgusting. Another wad of debris just chilling in the shower for weeks. They are heavily lacking in the cleaning department. This never used to be an issue.I love my gym, have always had a pleasant experience. Only thing that bothers me is that the showers arent cleaned daily. The same wad of hair has been in the second womens shower for two weeks as of today, as well as other debris on the shower floor. I wear flip flops in the showers, and keep my stuff off the surfaces so its whatever, but definitely might gross someone else out.

Only pro is cheap price to workout. Some staff are good while others don’t do much of anything which includes not cleaning. Allow guest to sweat puddles on equipment and not wipe after themselves. Also some policies are enforced by employees while others allow guest to break rules unknowingly. Not a family friendly place. Ask for donations to support children throughout the year but do not support the overall health and wellness of children. Policy is 13 and older with adult supervision. Waivers should be enforced to supervise (YOUR) child. During the summer water fountain water is hot (do not change filters as needed). Facility could be cleaner, frequent Equipment failure due to old age and not properly being up kept. Overall, not worth the money however everyone has different needs. If you need a place to get in and out for quick cardio this may be the place for you.

The all the staff have been friendly & nice! Usually see staff keeping gym clean and neat!; no matter what time Ive been. However, only a couple times months apart, 1 or 2 areas in mens locker room was missed or over looked! Nothing major, and why I can say I honestly appreciate all you do!

Clean and i was able to get much needed weight lifting. So good to be back to normal!

I prefer Life Fitness equipment so this is great for me. Just the right stuff too. The tanning and massage is a nice bonus. Staff is friendly and the place is always very clean.

11/16/20 I don’t know who the new guy is. I think his name is Danny or Dan. I complained because he is a bit of a nuisance. I was told that he’s already had several complaints. Hopefully management can make him stay out of the way. It’s alarming!!

Day 1: No hot water makes for a pretty chilly shower. I guess thats one way to save money. 25% of the mens showers are out of commission. Some of the equipment has seen better days.*Day 2: 24 hours later and the water is now a couple degrees warmer than room temperature. Not comfortable by any means, but better than cold.

My father-in-law and I joined this gym last week. This has been a great experience so far. The Staff have been wonderful and patient with my father-in-law who is 80 years old! I find the equipment in great shape and the bathroom and locker areas are very clean. Great place!

Pretty decent gym for the price. I never wait to use a machine or workout tool. Clean. Safe. Worth the price. That purple is ugly though. It could use a make over. Black card only allows one guest at a time though.

Wasnt impressed with the front desk service. I asked to use the massage chairs and was told no because I wasnt a black card member but told them Im joining but looking to see which location would serve as my home gym. Staff didnt even mention anything or give me an incentive to join their location. Down to the two other Fredericksburg locations to earn my business.***UPDATE TO OWNERS RESPONSE*** My overall point was Im joining Planet Fitness under the Black Card access. Your employee didnt sell me on the membership even after I told her that I was joining. As a current business owner as well, sales are the lifeline of the business and Im providing an update to you and your staff can be made aware of the situation. Your staff member couldve suggested joining today or ask me if there was any questions about their location that wouldve assisted me in my decision making. It couldve came down to providing the item that I was asking for to join that day.Well the massage chairs are exclusively for Black Card members and I know you mentioned that you are interested in joining Planet Fitness, would you like to sign up today and as a bonus I can give you complimentary item in addition to you being able to use the massage chairs today.Maybe Im right, maybe Im wrong but this is my opinion about the situation.

Im very upset and disappointed in this gym right now. I had a membership here back in 2014 in which I close cause I moved. Well I sign up for a new membership on line in which I paid my money and it was taken out of my bank account. To get down here to take my photo and enjoy a nice work. The denied me and say I owe for my old account cause according to them it wasnt never close out. They then give me a email account to a district manger and ask me to leave. My spirit was broken and I felt so hurt beside this. No understanding from the lady. She didnt even try to help. So was cold and rude. So I ask could I close the new account until I can speak to someone to straight things out. She told me no. I do wont to work out here but I dont wont to have to deal with the staff if all are like her.

Just started there. I am doing the 30 minute circuit and really like it. The steps are high and some are placed to close to the wall. Its a red/green light system. Its not that great because not visible from every station. Usually theres a prompt that tells you to change that works better Clean club, restrooms, showers, lockers, bring your own lock. No bar for holding on for stretching. Lots of equipment. Open 24/7, attendant on duty. Plenty of parking. Lighted parking lot.

Decent gym. Its nice not to have all the posing and muscle heads you find elsewhere. My only critique thus far is a female cleans them mens locker room mid day. Why? Ill surmise 2/3rds of the clientele are male and to have a female clean it mid day seems like a poor decision. Either have a male cleaner or do it in the lull of the night as it is a 24 hour facility.

Absolute the best place to work out. The only gym with clear city prices and no hidden fees or twisted contacts. They cleanest machines and good section for free weights. Not a single machine has a defect in it. The lights and colors pushes you and motivates you to work out harder. Beyond wonderful staff. The bathrooms and there shower are great with great water pressure, privacy, and cleaneniss. $10 a month is the absolute best in business for the type of access your get to the work out area. $20 gives you tanning, massage chairs, massage beds, and you can bring a guest with you anytime.

Although the membership is relatively cheap, and the fitness facility is relatively nice, beware that you have to go in person to cancel your membership to the location that you sign up at. If you move, you cannot call and cancel. You have to send them a certified letter in the mail. They try to say this is because they are franchised, however they have no problem sending you text messages whenever your bill is late. Plenty of other businesses that are franchised have the technology capable of canceling memberships and Performing account services. They do this purely to rake in fees and for that reason I would stay away from Planet Fitness with a ten-foot pole.

While I am not a member any longer, I love this gym. Its got a relaxed atmosphere, nobody makes you feel like you dont belong and the workout environment is super clean and friendly. Highly recommend. PS. Great prices.

Its a pretty good gym staff if ranged in age usually which makes it easier to talk with them, its usually pretty clean if everyone treats it right adn does their part.

Man, this place is so chill! Everyone is friendly, working hard & respecting each other. Weve been a member for about 2 weeks now and no complaints what so ever. Never had to wait on machines and the gym is so big that its not crowded even when theres a lot people. Good energy

Clean facility with friendly, knowledgable staff. There are plenty of cardio machines to fit just about any fitness goal. There is a good variety of nautilus machines to cover full range of strength training as well. There is a small amount of free weights available. I enjoyed this facility while acclimating myself back into the fitness lifestyle but find that is doesnt quite meet all my fitness goals anymore. My goals require more variety of free weights but this fitness center definitely helped me get back on track. I still maintain my black membership and take a friend or family member with me when I go so that they can experience everything it has to offer. I find that Planet Fitness typically meets all my guests needs so I continue to maintain the membership for their benefit. For 20 dollars a month, its a great deal and I am able to bring one guest with me each day which is included with that membership fee. For those who dont wish to bring a workout partner with them, you can cut that membership in half and still enjoy all the benefits for around 10 bucks a month.

Happy with my membership here. Nice facilities, staff, and equipment. I would recommend people here.I would only wish that there was more free weights and a water bottle filler water fountain ( saw one at another PF and liked it a lot ), but this is just me nit picking.

The biggest problem I have is the lack of serious maintenance, particularly when they pose health risks. Shower maintenance has long been a problem, and today, all 4 showers in the mens locker were out of order. The water filter for the fountain has been lit red for days on end. Even if customer convenience is not enough of a reason to address such issues... these are HEALTH issues!

Older bikes and equipment but it is what it is. As clean as can be expected. Very nice staff though.

Its a nice gym. Its clean, and the equipment is spaced out nicely. You dont feel like youre shoulder to shoulder like some gyms. Some group classes would be nice, but for the price, I really cant complain. 20 bucks a month, and you get gym access, tanning, massage chairs, hydro-massage (this is an awesome way to end a workout) and the Total Body Enhancement, which I havent tried yet, but have been told its a great workout.

I personally loved being a member at this gym!! I wish I did not let my membership expire!! For $20 a month you get access to everything there; tanning beds (stand up and lay down), massage chairs and massage beds, clean locker rooms, and a private session with a personal trainer to set up or modify your work out plan.

The cleanliness is good, the staff is friendly, but they dont enforce a dress code (I often see people exercising in jeans or a sports bra and tiny spandex shorts), they dont enforce the sanitizing of equipment after use, and repairs are slow. The stalls in the ladies room have difficulty locking or dont lock at all, the shower curtains have torn away from the hooks, and it took almost a month for a new water filter to be placed in the water bottle filler.

I was a little hesitant about Planet Fitness due to people bashing it over the mentality of the company. Preying on the overweight and elder community. I use to have a membership to LA Fitness in Woodbridge and membership at Onelife awesome gyms, but overpriced in my opinion. Planet Fitness may not be the best gym, but for 10 bucks you can not beat it. A gym is what you make out of it. Ill take a star away because they dont have a true squat rack or bench press. The smith machines are okay but I feel that you are restricted.

He could not use it because of the location. Planet Fitness will not refund my money. They say it is not possible because of their contract.They also charged my account for the full amount three times!!!! $600!!! They refunded two of the charges and refuse to refund the third. So actually they are capable of refunds they choose not to refund but to take my money and offer nothing in return.I tried to transfer the account to a Planet Fitness in my state so I could actually use the membership that I bought for my brother and they wont transfer it.They stole $200 from me.Stay away!

Tried to get a membership during their current promotion of $1 down and $10 a month no commitment. I tried to pay for 1 year up front cash so they didnt have to draw from my account and instead of paying $121 based on the promo they said that it would be $199 because you get penalized (they said) for paying in advance. The promo is only good if they get to have my checking account #. If there is no commitment, then why cant I pay upfront? What a scam!

Eh. Wasnt impressed. Took my daughter to sign up for the summer teen challenge. 2 guys hanging out around the counter chatting with the girl working behind the counter. Shes sporting a hickey and having some problems with the computer. I try to offer my DL so she can get my info to enter but ignores that and proceeds to have me recite my name and address aloud.No tour, no card to check in with, had to ask what my daughter needs to do to check in when coming to workout, give her phone number?At least its free for teens over the summer.

My first time gym experience. I have never been to a gym before in my life and when I visited Planet Fitness I felt like a strange person in a new land. But the staff is pretty friendly and they have a wide array of different equipment to choose from. I love their no judgment zone slogan and atmosphere!

Pros- clean, high ceilings, really awesome giant ceiling fansCons- Crappy hours (Im used to a 24/7 planet fitness... only three days a week is it open 24 hrs. And on weekends it closes at 7pm). This is my main concern; the company prides itself on the 24/7 thing... just not here.The equipment seems newer than some of the other Planet Fitness Ive gone to, but there are less options.

Not a place to go if you are serious about working out. If you want snacks and a gym that is utilized as more of a hookup spot, then this gym is for you.And be careful, if you know more than the staff and are approached by a member of their team for advice, dont give it....youll be kicked out for training their own staff for FREE! Dont be a female utilizing free weights too much and dont even think about doing a dead lift.... thinking about it could get you kicked out as well, ha! For a judgement free zone, there is plenty of judging happening. Pay the extra for a gym where you can truly go to obtain gains and not munch on pizza, bagels and watch others socialize and hook up.

Too crowded. Dont join unless you plan on going at 2am on a Tuesday. I moved in to California and I have been calling them for 100 times to cancel my membership and they wont and still changing me and I called my bank and had to 30$ in order to make stop stupid plan fitness charging me for no reason.. I would recommend nobody to join dirty plan fitness.

Well. I just called planet fitness in an attempt to sign up for a trial run to assess the gym. Learned that planet fitness doesnt offer trial runs. Was told I had to pay $10 a day to get in. The gentleman offered me a $10 down $10 a month cancel anytime contract. But Im already a member of Anytime Fitness and was inquiring to see if it was worth the switch....guess not. They must not want new business. Or those new wacky commercials must be bringing in great revenue. Good luck yall.

Gym membership at a great price. But, Planet Fitness gets crowded after work. Best time to go is on weekends.

I rarely go into this location, however I was in this side of town today & popped in to tan. The staff was incredibly rude. Me & one other lady (she was trying to sign up for a membership) were waiting at the front desk while a group of about 4 female employees gossiped. They finally turned around & helped us out. On my way out I placed my tanning number back where it goes & did not a “bye” or “have a nice day.” They continues to stand behind the desk & gossip. Still shocked. Definitely prefer the south point location, I do not feel uncomfortable or a burden for needing front desk assistance there.

$20 month gives me access here and at any other PF when I travel. Location is convenient for me. A bit crowded when many folks get off work, but rarely spend time waiting for a machine.

Dont worry about the gym attire. Apparently you can wear what you want here. You get a bunch of gym rats in here (with the string ts). No judgement zone isnt really applied here. The people tend to put back the weights though. Doesnt happen at every PF.

I dont know why people bitchabout PF. This place has free-weights, treadmills and all kinds of machines. You can get into shape anywhere if you workout. PF has nothing to do with you being consistent and not eating like a pig. Cheapest gym I have ever been part of and I began at 300+ pounds. I am now around 240 lbs. AND I totally eat pizza here on Mondays. I like that they buy me lunch and then I get to go lift.

I love the facility its always clean the equipment is not worn But each and every time I attempt to do the 30 minute circuit training room idiots are in the room doing their own thing interrupting the 19 station workout station. They act clueless when you end up in front of them when you are expecting them to MOVE.

Found this place running on poor management. Showers, machines, etc, without maintenance. Have been trying to cancel my membership. They have no caused me overdraft fees because they say I never cancelled, and they think Im going to pay them more money! Cheap, but a terrible scam! Employees unwilling to assist except to collect fees when they already cost me after I requested to cancel! My bank said theyve had so many clients that have had issues, cancelling the card was the only way to get them to stop, and then fight them in court! Absolute shame that my bank would make that recommendation. Thats how greedy PF is.

Nice, clean, cardio-centric facility. Free weights are limited and users (especially during peak hours) tend to hoard/babysit dumbells. Smith machines and mats for stretching tend to be taken so plan your workout accordingly. Still, cant beat the resources for $10/mo
