The idea of being an adult going through attempt #2 at fixing my teeth was pretty nerve wracking and embarrassing, especially using the same practice that I saw as a child, but let me tell you.. I am SO happy I decided to stick with Dr.Almy and her practice. First, their front desk and receptionist team has been the BEST team I have ever encountered at any practice. I have sadly been use to short and rude experiences and have noticed how poorly most receptionist team function, but that was not the case here. They are always warm and welcoming on the phone and in person, and know how to make you feel comfortable. The office manager is one of the kindest women I have met and has done a fantastic job at training her staff. The technicians and assistants in the back are always smiling and laughing and also know how to make you feel comfortable, even in instances where you may feel self conscious about yourself. I have been seen by both Dr.Almy and the other resident doctor and they have always been quick, kind, and professional with their work. They are also fantastic at reaching out to you in multiple ways and encouraging you to continue your progress.(even when you go MIA on them for quite a while.. sorry yall).Annnyways, I hope this review helps anyone, especially adults who may be nervous like I was, in making the decision on becoming a client with this fantastic practice. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars, I would.

Very friendly and honest staff! As parents, we worried about what was about to occur and how much it would cost, but we were told nothing needs to be done at this time, and just come back at a different time. Nothing felt forced. It was both a relief and surprising to hear. As for my daughter, she was nervous, but they were very warm and welcoming to her.They set aside those nerves quickly and, if we do need braces eventually, we know they’ll be the staff to keep her at ease.

There is nothing negative I could possibly say about Fredericksburg Orthodontics!I came to Fredericksburg Orthodontist after having some issues with a former Invisalign provider, from my very first consultation to the end of my (re)treatment I felt truly confident in the services they provide. They addressed my main concern, which I felt was written off by my previous provider, to leave me with a beautiful smile! Going forward I always recommend to any and everyone I meet to see Fredericksburg Orthodontist (or at least an Orthodontist) prior to getting braces of any kind. The results will truly meet your smile goals.On top of their impeccable service, the staff will make you feel right at home! To the point you feel so comfortable you could put your feet on the furniture, but you dont because youre an adult!! I’ve taken both of my kids to this practice for different devices other than braces. We’ve always received superior service from each individual we encounter. The office does great work making their patient (and the patient’s mom) feel welcome while we’re there. Both Dr. Almy and Dr. Pratt have the warmest demeanor when working with my kids. At this latest visit today, Dr. Pratt really took extra care and attention to my son and his device to make sure it fit properly. She also soothed him while he was a little scared during the installment process. We like her very much!It is also very apparent that this office pays a lot of attention to detail. I would consider us as relatively new patients, but they always make you feel like you’ve been going there for years with how they’ve treated us and how I’ve noticed other patients are treated while we’re in the office. As a parent, I feel very comfortable with the care and treatment my children get from each person in this office.

Very friendly and efficient staff. We came in with my 2 oldest (8 and 10) and within 2 hours my 8 year old came out with braces due to a cross-bite and the oldest is on recall for 6 months. The process was very well explained as well as the cost. The center is very clean and again the staff was so friendly. I could not have asked for a better place to have my girl get her first braces as the staff actually got her excited about braces instead of nervous or scared!

Today I got to be taken care of by Holly. She was very nice and efficient with her work and taking care of my son. The doctor that helped us was Dr.Almy. She was amazing, she came in and gave us information and was very nice. Walking into the building, everyone was super nice and welcoming to us. I wish we found this place a year ago. The check in process went very smooth, staff was very friendly and thorough in explaining everything! They also went over my payment options in the treatment room before checking out, which I appreciated. Dr. Almy went over the treatment plan and options and was very compassionate in regard to my issues with pain. I highly recommend this office.

So far, so good. Honest and thorough. I brought my son in expecting them to push for braces at an earlier age for an overbite. They didn’t. Said he was fine to come back in a year for assessment at this point. It surprised me. Expected them to just go for max treatment but instead they choose to be conservative. I’m doing Invisalign with them myself. Super smooth process. The staff has mastered customer service which is a rarity these days. You won’t be disappointed.

I love the Fredericksburg orthodontist office and everyone in it! This is FAMILY. I first got braces in middle school and I absolutely enjoyed my experience and loved the results. I hadn’t worn my retainers as I should of and needed braces a second time in high school ! They never judged me and treated me the same as before, with care and respect. Everyone is so kind and sweet, I always had a good laugh and enjoyed conversation when I was there. Once again, loved my results. I am now in college with my first child and had to come into the office to get my permanent retainers fixed and I was so excited to bring in my 10month old son for everyone to see!Leaving the orthodontist yesterday, I was so happy that I got to see everyone once again. Dr Almy and the team at Fredericksburg orthodontics are great! it’s a very busy office and they do a good job of scheduling and rescheduling patients as necessary. They also do a very good job of communicating when your appointment is electronically as well as verbally depending on your preference. My children have both had a great experience and their teeth look terrific. Just a few more months to go with my last one but overall I’d say we were very happy.

Dr. Almy and her staff had been consulting with us for almost two years until they determined it was time for my son to get his braces. We had consulted another orthodontist who wanted to put braces on my son twice, starting at the age of 8. Dr. Almy took a more conservative approach, because she believed it was an unnecessary treatment plan. We drive from 30 miles north of this location based on recommendations from a friend, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service, support, honesty, and overall experience we have had thus far. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and supportive, an absolute yes to anyone looking for a great orthodontic place!

When I first called for a consultation for my son we were seen the very next day, and he got his braces that same day. The whole “getting him into braces” process was extremely easy, and his follow-ups have all gone flawlessly.A few weeks ago my son even received a handwritten card in the mail and he was tickled to death that they remembered what they talked about.I’ve had many people tell me how amazing this office is, and I completely agree!

This practice is great! They go above and beyond for their patients including writing notes for my daughter after she has her visits. I was nervous initially as with COVID they are only allowing patients back for adjustments and my daughter is on the anxious side. She has done great with all her visits due to the kindness of the staff. They are great about explaining everything to her and to me, and even provided her with an electric toothbrush to help with keeping her braces clean. Hands down the BEST customer service and inviting atmosphere I have experienced in a very long time.
