Great down home bar owner Ron was super cool

Absolutely fabulous food!!!! I had the pork tacos. Love! Our party also had the wings,burger and apple fries. Everyone was very pleased. The apple fries are a must. We sat outside on a Thursday evening for dinner with a cool breeze, friends, live music and great food. Relaxing with great hospitality!!! Will definitely be back on future Fredericksburg trips.

My wife and I stopped there to enjoy some music and have a couple of drinks. Our bill was 25$ so I left a 5$ tip. I guess the 5$ tip wasn’t good enough for someone. So they changed it to a 50$ tip. Twice as much as the original bill!! My wife called the establishment after seeing the 80$ charge and left a voice mail for someone to call her. And of course we’ve received no response.

First time finally getting to visit fredricksburg. Was looking for good food and live music, found it all in one spot. Not a huge menu but well worth it. Service was great bartender was friendly and quick to serve, didn’t wait long for food either. Topped it all off with a great three man group playing some good music!

Love the management presence and live entertainment. Nice gathering and friendly staff.

Had a blast that little food trailer cranks out the good stuff! Heaters on the patio kept us warm. Everyone was friendly good prices on the booze with a selection of different sweet drinks to keep the ladies happy.

Pig fries, cheese burger anda variety of beers all delicious, in a beautiful open air, hill country setting. Great food + drinks + people + live music = LOVE IT HERE!

We stayed overnight in our RV as members of Harvest Host. Aimee and her dad greeted us with friendly smiles, showed us where to park and invited us inside for grub and beers. The pulled pork tacos were amazing, the wings were delicious and the Frito pie is something you dont want to miss. Apple pie fries for dessert topped it off, and in the morning we were greeted by a flock of sheep and a cardinal tapping at our window. Dog friendly!!

Such a wonderful ambiance! The people are super nice, the beer selection is solid and there are great indoor and outdoor spaces. We stayed here with our Harvest Host subscription and were thrilled to have such a nice place to post up.

It is on the far West side of Fredericksburg but worth the drive. Simple but tasty bar food. Great beer selection and the patio will be nice when it cools down. Good place to watch a football game in Fredericksburg.

Not a bad place on the west side of Fburg. Food truck was decent, beer was cold and the ambience was good. Nice dive to unwind a bit before turning in for the night.

Easy parking. Dirt and base roads. Lots of light. Easy seating. 90 degrees felt like 70 degrees. Cool breeze. Live music and refreshments. Great food and lots of it.

As a customer you should fair pretty well if youre willing to pay the steep prices for everything on offer.I wouldnt work recommend working for the lady however. She either chooses to steal from the employees or she allows the fact that she tends to drink entirely too much to permit her to say things she later forgets having said to her employees... and refuses to honor things drunkenly promised. Resulting in ridiculous turnover and fluctuating quality. Extremely unprofessional and likely the worst/best example of the Dunning Krueger effect Ive ever witnessed.

Absolutely awesome food!!! Highly recommend the Pig Fries and Apple Pie Fries!!! Both were amazing and the staff were very sweet. Cant wait to go back next trip!!!

We stayed here using Harvest Hosts, they were our first stay. Great food, amazing staff. And super kid friendly. Our 2.5 year old had a blast on their swing set and played with their tether ball. I highly recommend coming here and would absolutely come back to stay in the future.

This was our first time at Lone Star Bar & Grill. We had a few beers and some Buffalo Wings. Amy and Niva are lots of fun, as is their entire staff. The wings were great. We took some beers outside and listened to some music. 72 degrees outside. Perfect afternoon. Well be back.

The burgers and cat fish were AmAzInG! The atmosphere was very relaxing with the live music and friendly faces all around! I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Great, out in the country location. We had a fraternity reunion, a bunch of over 70s, our second year in a row, and the ambience, service, food, drinks, and location were great, as usual. About half the location is covered and open, and half is closed and air conditioned, so everyone should be happy. I know we, and our wives were. My wife and I had the fish and chips,(catfish and fries), were terrific. Several others had the catfish tacos, and were equally satisfied. I highly recommend this honkytonk reminiscent location for just hanging out, or having an event, as we did.

Visited with friends. It was very cold outside. We occupied inside space. Astros were playing. The food offering is easy to eat food. Happy hour was until 7 p.m.The food is prepared in a food truck ... quite a novel idea.Friendly people. This is surely a local hangout.I will go back.

It is a Beautiful Quaint place. Staff is amazing. Scenic, cant wait for the Spring time to enjoy their outdoor venues. Food was delicious. Going again soon.
