It was an almost perfect experience! I would have liked the removal of my lash tint to be a bit more thorough, but it didnt cause any issues for me, came off with a shower, and the work was great. Fern was absolutely lovely. It was my first time getting any of the services(eyebrow wax and tint, and lash lift and tint), and she made me feel so comfortable!

This was the first time I ever had a facial. Karissa did a great job explaining the different lotions and what the benefits to the skin were. Great place, great atmosphere!! Absolutely loved it. Will be back for sure!!!

It took several weeks to book an appointment because I was told only Richard could do the service I wanted. That is completely understandable. I received a confirmation email with my appointment date and time. On the day of my appointment I checked in a few minutes early as the email recommended. When I checked in I was told my appointment was with someone else and my appointment time had been moved back by 30 minutes. The lady at the front desk suggested I leave and come back. I showed her my confirmation email that showed 4:15 with Richard and was given the response thats weird. I dont know. You will need to wait until 4:45. I explained I couldnt wait that late for my appointment to start when I was receiving an hour facial with added on services. I would need to cancel. The lady at the counter did not apologize or even offer to reschedule. I was a first time customer who receives weekly facials. You just lost an excellent customer and a lot of money. Horrible service! Dont waste your time.

Just had a prenatal massage with Kathleen at Skin+Touch Therapy Spa. First time getting a service there. It was phenomenal. She was well-educated and had some insightful observations about my body, how things are adjusting and how a previous accident may be affecting how I am feeling all of these years later as my body is changing throughout the pregnancy. I feel phenomenal compared to how I did earlier in the day.Worth every penny for a knowledgeable and talented masseuse. Looking forward to my next visit!

The massage and facial were great but I would not get your eyelashes lifted here. I had very long and full lashes and once I got them lifted I have now lost a majority of them and the rest are very weird shaped and misplaced. Very unhappy.

I have been getting Brazilian waxes for five years. I came to this salon beacuse I was looking for a new waxer since I have just moved back to the area. The person who gave me a wax was new but told me she had been working as an esthetician for three years. When she started waxing me I told her the wax was too hot. She told me that my skin was too sensitive and adjusted the temperature of the wax. After turning the dial on the wax machine to low she did not wait for the wax to cool before waxing me again. When she waxed me again the wax was still too hot (surprise) and it made me jump. I told her I wanted to stop (which I have never done before). When we went to the front desk she told the receptionist that I ended the service due to the temperature of the wax. I told the receptionist that the waxer burnt me and she charged me $40. My skin is still red.

My wife and I had a massage here on Sunday August 30th 2020 and it was fantastic. My massage therapist, Kathleen, was great and gave one of the best deep tissue massages I have ever had. My wife had the Swedish massage with Miranda and said she was also fantastic. Highly recommend we will be going back there as well as to the Culpeper location.

I just got my first ever massage and luckily I picked the right place for my inaugural experience. I cant compare the massage to any other experience; but I must say that Christina did such a wonderful job that I was so relaxed that I dosed off a couple of times and felt so relaxed as she worked the tension knots, and anxiety right out of my muscles and tissues. I felt renewed after the sports massage was over and went home and napped and then still fell asleep at night and slept right on thru to the next morning! I will definitely be booking another!

Ive been to skin + therapy a few times for massages. My last appointment was good but it wasnt great as it had been in the past. The only light on in the room was positioned near my head, no big deal if the therapist had put the thing over my eyes (not sure what its called but Ive never not had one during a massage when Im laying on my back). I had a 90 minute massage and felt unrelaxed during half of it due to the light. Also, the music was really calming and peaceful but it seemed every third song or so it got way way louder...again, the point of a massage is to relax, right? Hot towel after therapy of different areas is ok, but its December and its freezing when it comes off. Id be willing to give it another try, but with someone else.

I was looking for a place to get a mani and pedi the day before my wedding, and Im so glad I ended up at Skin+Touch Therapy Spa. I liked the ease of booking online and then when I arrived for my appointment, the service I received was exceptional. I’ve been a client of Brian’s since the beginning here in Fredericksburg. I’ve watched Skin+Touch grow from a very small two person place to the excellent client focused business it is today. Through all the changes of location, service offering, staff growth, and overall business size changes I’ve never once felt like my value as a client has changed.On a more personal note, as my massage therapist, Brian helped me through severe pain and mobility issues centered around my lower back. So Ive never gotten a facial before, or really done any sort of self-care. I got a gift certificate from my brother and decided to treat myself. Never having had a facial before I was super nervous, didnt know what to expect, and I didnt even know what I needed. But I booked an appointment online through the website, which was super easy to do. when I got there, I found parking right outside the front door and the place was so homey and yet modern. it smelled great and I felt relaxed before I even got signed in. I was offered something to drink and then Liv, my technician showed me to the room. it was very peaceful and quite and beautifully decorated. Once in the room the nerves struck me again but Liv talked me through the process, asked about my skin care concerns and told me what she thought I should do. The whole experience was amazing. I was never uncomfortable or anxious as Liv talked to me throughout the process so I knew what was going on. overall, it was amazing and Im definitely going back!!

Cristina did a wonderful job on my prenatal massage. Prior to my appointment I was having some daily lower back pain over the last few weeks. She was able to work that area, my hips and body so that I feel so much more relaxed and now have less discomfort. I will definitely be booking another massage with her.

We started out with a Pure Manicure and I upgraded my pedi to the Farm Fresh pedicure and was not disappointed. I’ve been coming to Crystal James to work on my eyebrows for about a year and a half now and she is a miracle worker! I had my brows massacred in college and have been trying to grow them back ever since. Crystal has coaxed my brows back to health and they are so full and shapely and now THEY MATCH. Even after moving to Alexandria, I refuse to go anywhere else and will always make the drive down to Fredericksburg! The atmosphere is so relaxing and zen. All the employees are knowledgeable and friendly.

The staff is always professional, welcoming and treat you like you are coming into their home.Two years ago, they started offering nail services in the cutest boutique style area. I have only had Rachel B. do my nails and she always does an awesome job. My cuticles have never looked so good and she pays attention to every detail.Overall, Skin + Touch is a gem of the Downtown Fredericksburg area!

Worst experience. Was given a gift certificate and had to cancel due to an emergency. Cancellation policy no where to be seen on the gift certificate. They send it to you in a confirmation text?? Or email they claim. Charged me 50% of a service I never received. Terrible customer service. Did not work with me at all. I do t recommend doing business with this type of establishment !! I will spread the word “do not support this business”!!! I will always support our local small business but they also need to support their neighbors as well

I enjoy and deep massage that really gets out all the knots and Niki was AMAZING. I felt great during and long after my massage was done. The environment was cozy and calm. I loved my facials at Skin+Touch Therapy. My skin was very dehydrated and excessively oily and and Crystal recommended the organic facial which did a great job of balancing my skin. She introduced me to the Eminence skin care line for problematic skin and it works wonders. A week and a half later I saw Richard who was phenomenal. He did a great job with the extractions without causing me to flare up ( my skin is so sensitive ) and recommended the yam & pumpkin enzyme peel which does a great job exfoliating in between sessions. The people who work here are well trained and knowledgeable about skin and they did not try to upsell me on the products. Claire at the front desk is sweet and professional. Ill be back for my next session in a few days.

Ive come to Chelsea 3 times so far. I have extensive issues in my muscles and joints. Chelsea has been a great practitioner to me in massage therapy. She is engaged, ask questions, and listens. Each session she checks in with me to see whats working, what isnt, and whats changed or new. My body is in crisis so massage therapy is vital to not only pain management but ultimately healing. Chelsea is a gentle spirit and definitely has a healing touch whether its with milder pressure or more intense. Ive gone to several therapists at Skin Touch and change it up often because each one is gifted differently. Thanks Skin Touch for being a safe and effective place for me to go!

The entire staff was extremely professional and made us feel comfortable considering it was our first visit with you guys. We had a couples massage done. I know everyones body temps vary but i could not get warm during the massage. The massage itself was very good and the massage therapists seemed to be very thorough and considerate of problem areas we were concerned about. The only thing we were expecting was almost a report after of our problem areas perhaps or where they found knots and what that could possibly be due to and what we could try to incorporate or be mindful of in the future.The atmosphere of the whole building was great and the prices were very reasonable. we will be back in the future!!

Completely over priced for infrared sauna. I just moved to this area from NY and I was paying $15.00 per 30 min or $30.00 per 60 min session in NY. They charge double that here and you dont get 30 min sessions its 20 min or 60. You just start to break the good sweat at 20 min so to pay $30.00 is crazy. This is sad especially for people that are using this for medical reasons like cancer (like myself). At the very least they should increase the 20 min session to 30 min and offer a deal on 5 or more sessions.** I will edit my review to answer the owners response. There are 2 other facilities 1 in Woodbridge and 1 in Dale city that are both cheaper than your facility. There is also another place that is just re-opening as they moved from further north in VA to Woodbridge that is also cheaper. When I wrote my review about the prices/times it was based on having gotten 4 other prices first. I think that was fair. The prices may be feasible if someone is wealthy or going there for a SPA - DAY..but when someone is middle class and has a terminal illness and is doing it for health reasons then those prices are high...especially that they are even higher than spas located in a more expensive area like Long Island and NYC. I would have just went with the other spas however Skin+Touch was located closer to me.

Ive had four deep tissue massages with two different massage therapists and both of my massages were outstanding. The therapists asked a lot of questions prior to the massage to make sure they were able to take care of any problem areas that I may be experiencing.Additionally, after the massage, both therapists gave me advice that I could use at home to stretch and help take care of any issues that arise in between sessions.

My wife and I love this place! Very warm and welcoming place of business. Will be getting a membership soon.

Outside of my routine deep tissue massage therapist that I use in TX, Sally, at Skin +Touch Therapy Spa, is one of the best deep tissue massage therapists Ive experienced in a long time! I highly recommend her, she is very thorough, knowledgeable, and caters to the therapy required to fix your muscular needs.
