I have five daughters age range 7-17. The staff here are amazing. Friendly, caring and personable. Appointments were easy to get without having to wait a month or more for first appointment. All dental work was explained and shown by X-ray on computer. Friendly staff discussed cost and insurance, putting my mind and wallet at ease

I have had bad experiences with Dentists in the past. I felt like the past dental offices did this work every day they were not sensitive to the patient who is not doing this every day. They failed to address needs, anxieties and good communication. They just sat you in the chair and did their thing while I was feeling like I was going through some sort of medieval torture routine. I was so fed up with dentists that I went a long time without being seen. When I developed a problem that I needed to see a dentist I asked around. Fortunately I had a similar experience with my vet, and had just found Tidewater Trail Animal Hospital. Dr. Kim and River Club Dental is located in the same area. I looked them up on the internet and WOW. Their entire focus is to counter what caused me so many troubles in the past. They understand the anxiety with going to the dentist and have taken major steps to address this. They have a questionnaire about your anxieties/concerns and oh they also have a TV mounted on the ceiling so you can watch TV when getting your treatment. They treated me like they had known me all my life. Dr. Kim patted me on the back as we were chatting and his front office boss was so sweet making sure I had every concern addressed and future schedules made. Score! Im finding out to look for the small business that wants to make a difference and is into customer service. This place is great!

Had an appointment today at River Club.Dr. S. Kim and staff are great. I have been a patient of Dr. Kim for over 10 years. I would not go anywhere else. Dr. Kim and staff are very professional and compassionate. If you are afraid, go to River Club, get info on sedation and stop ignoring your oral health.

My daughter and I really like the staff and the Doctor. The staff was very friendly and warm to us and comforted my daughter afterwards. I will be bringing her back for her future cleanings and dental needs. Thank you!

The staff was great for the most part, but my son has been traumatized from a tooth pulled that wasnt numb. Instead of giving him antibiotics when he saw there was infection, he just decided to pull it. He didnt even try to make sure the spot was numb before he went for it. My son was 6 at the time, and felt everything. The dentist appointment after that one, it took them 2 hours to do 1 filling because my son was so scared. I might add, even with benadryl, Valium, and nitrous, he was still freaking out scared to death. I dont know how Im going to continue with dental care for him now!

I haven’t been to the dentist in a very long time, I was able to get in very quickly and given a print out of a game plan of what needs to be done for the health of my mouth! Highly recommend, very nice and polite staff and doctor!

Wonderful staff! We finally found a dentist that listened to me as a parent about my concerns. Everything was addressed without doubt! Dr. Kim and his team went above and beyond my expectations.

As a child, I had limited trips to the Military dentist and quite a few bad experiences. To top that off, many dentists would not accept my insurance up front for 10 plus years in this area. I finally found Riverclub Dental and decided to give it a try. The staff is so kind and does not belittle you for your dental mishaps. They are gentle and fix the problem while allowing you to keep your dignity. I am very grateful to this practice and they were able to put me at ease and make my smile not so embarrassing. I will be a patient for life now, as well as bringing in the rest of my loved ones. Additionally, the TVS on the ceiling are great and allow you to look past all the activity going on in your mouth. Great job Riverclub Dental!! I am no longer afraid.

The doctor himself was great, but the hygenists were very sloppy and rushed. When it came to the flouride they got it all over my lips and i had to go to the bathroom to scrub it off my mouth which was VERY difficult.

I scheduled a cleaning at this dental center based on the information I received from the receptionist that they had the ability to properly clean my full set upper implants. They were not able to perform this task and the cleaning of my lower teeth I felt was minimal. Incomplete removal of build up of dental plaque between teeth. My insurance pays once per year for cleaning but I now have to schedule another cleaning for my implants and will have to pay out of pocket for this one. The dentist and staff were cordial and professional.

Dr. Kim and his dental assistant (cant believe I forgot her name, she was so sweet) were phenomenal. I hate x-rays - they make me incredibly anxious - but the dental assistant was quick and gentle. It was also the fastest cleaning Ive ever had and there was no discomfort. I had a frenectomy done years ago and the gum/teeth are still so sensitive but not once did I have to request numbing gel. It was a great experience and I wasnt left sitting in the chair longer than necessary like at my previous dentist. They definitely make you feel right at home and the office is beautifully decorated, bright, and welcoming. Dr. Kim has always been a fabulous dentist and his staff are just as great!

Dr. Kim is an extremely skilled dentist who uses state-of-the-art technical knowledge and equipment. He expertly extracted 2 molars, one of which was a wisdom tooth, even though both teeth fractured during the procedure. He has also expertly inserted 2 dental implants, despite the fact that there had been significant bone loss. He was able to do all these dental procedures in a most gentle manner so that I experienced almost no discomfort. Everyone at the River Club dental office, from the front desk to the exam rooms, is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The office is warm and well decorated with TV’s available in the waiting area as well as in all the treating rooms. Service is quick and on time

Dr. Kim was on time, friendly and thorough. He explained in detail all findings and recommendations. Compared to other dentists within the Fredericksburg area, I found Dr. Kim to be much more reasonable regarding treatment suggestions and payment methods. The entire staff was friendly and helpful in every way, a much better demeanor than other dental practices. Thank you!

I had a bi-annual appointment for general dental hygiene (teeth cleaning). This was very superficial and not as thorough as that which I would expect and based on my experience. No fluoride treatment, no tooth polishing, minimal cleaning a very simple and limited scrape for some calculus by dentist. Whole appointment in and out took less than 15-minutes. The staff was professional and friendly. Dentist recognized my need for antibiotics to prevent infection of recent surgery, prescribed the antibiotics necessary and rescheduled the appointment to this date. The office space is comfortable. I am ambivalent at this time to providing an unqualified recommendation. The dentists approach seems to be adequate for a no frills, routine dental care.

Always a pleasure Dental assistant Arisellie and Dr Kim are utmost professionals. And this chicken of dentists is not scared anymore they have tamed my skittish ways. I will always get regular checkups andbrush as Ive always done but I now floss all the time as I now know how important it is thanks to Dr Kim Floss or Die....LOL

Do not trust these people! They literally have you fill out a form saying you dont like financial surprises, and all they do is surprise you financially! Do not trust them!!
