Probably the best dentist visit I’ve had. Receptionist was great for the timely rescheduling of my appointment. Amy’s chair side manner is tops! Dr. Barrington was quick and thorough with diagnosis and solution to fix my issues. Will definitely be using Mortenson for all my dental needs!

Scheduled appointment to get a filling replaced that had fallen out. Took time off work. When I got there they did X-ray, doc looked in my mouth said yep you need a filling….Come back on Monday…wth? They couldn’t do it that day because they were going to lunch!! Then why schedule me for a filling, make me sit in the waiting room for 10-15 minutes, then 10 min in chair to tell me to come back!!???!! Ugh!! Now I have to take more time off work! They better not bill for both days!!!

I recently went back to Mortenson in Frankfort after 2 years, since the last time I had a very good experience having my teeth cleaned, and have also had good experiences at the other location. I wasn’t thinking when I was led to the X-ray machine (I was there for a cleaning), but my ears perked up when I heard I needed two veneers on my two front teeth, which are really nice, and other expensive dental work that was just crazy. The lady dentist wanted to put a veneer on my very back tooth that I can’t even see. $300 after my insurance just for the cleaning and the X-Rays, a $168 dollar bill sent to me in the mail (they charged me as a new patient) and the entire time I was there I felt like I was on a used car lot, sell sell sell. I called another dentist and made an appointment, who told me Mortonsen’s gets bonuses for selling services, which I’d already guessed. I gave two stars for the hygienist who did my cleaning, she was very nice and did an awesome job, but I can’t wait to never go there again.

Dr Barrington is a world-class doctor that cares about his patients. His staff is also very kind and gentle. The office is top notch.

I called and scheduled this appointment 2 weeks ago for tooth pain possible loose filling. They wait until the day BEFORE my appointment to tell me that they do not accept my insurance when they have had the insurance information for 2 weeks

We started going to Mortenson about 3 or 4 years ago, and we ended up getting my whole family and my husbands whole family in there too because it is such an amazing office for dental care. The dentist there, Dr Barrington is awesome. Hes always so nice and tells you exactly what you need and what hes going to do and if theres something he cant do he doesnt beat around the bush and try to get more money out of your insurance, he just refers you to the oral surgeon so they can take care of it. Ive never had any issues with cavities hes filled or any other work hes done. He always makes sure Im good and numbed up and hes really good with the initial numbing shots, he always leaves that numbing gel on long enough to help and he will numb you more a dozen times if he needs to to make sure youre comfortable.My kiddo loves them and the hygienists and front desk staff are friendly and knowledgeable. And Ive never had a bad phone experience with them. EVER. Which is saying something for a medical office. Sometimes you just run into rude people, especially when you have medicaid. But Mortenson doesnt treat you any different, and they are so nice and helpful everytime Ive had to call for appointments or just general (sometimes stupid, lol) questions. I really cannot sing the praises of this place enough! Make an appointment and believe me you will be a lifelong patient there.

Mortensons in Frankfort,ky got me in on the same day that I called having an issue with a tooth. This was my first time going there. Really appreciate how they got me in so quick and how professional and friendly they all are. I plan on continue to use them as my primary dentist.

Second visit and another good experience. Staff was friendly and helpful. I like a dentist that communicates with the patient and lets them know exactly what is going on. It was obvious care was taken to ensure a good clean environment. All around, great place.

I needed to have a crown replaced. Dr. Barrington and Midelvia were professional and considerate during both the temporary and permanent crown processes. They informed me before proceeding what they were going to do during each step. My new crown fits perfectly!

First visit here. Staff and doctor very nice. Hygienist Amy very thorough. Just surprised when I had to pay $100.00 more for “deep cleaning” of bacteria my gum line, despite having bought an individual dental discount plan for $270.00/yr., to include two “free” cleanings and X-rays, plus discounts on other procedures. Granted, it had been 2 years since my last professional cleaning. This was a “reset” cleaning, doc said. From now (every 6 mo) will be regular cleanings at no extra charge. We’ll see. They did a good job overall. Just can’t shake the feeling of being a little scammed.

Great experience and such a nice staff and doctor! They took such good care of me! All of my worry was not needed. They made a pretty substantial procedure quick and painless.

I was referred here by Frankfort Pediatric, and Im not sure why. 1st visit was to see if they could fix my sons front tooth that was chipped, they dont do that there. (They told me we do about everything here, but we dont do that.) Which is fine, I got it taken care of. While I was there I told them my son had a filling that the other dentist wanted to refer him for a while back. They saidd thats fine, tell them to fax over the referral and we can make you an appointment. So we do that. My mother takes my son (while I was at work)to this other appointment, they acted confused while he was there, then after being there an hour, find out, they cant take care of that issue either. Im just confused why they couldnt tell me that during my first wasted appointment so we didnt have to waste two. A lot of things have to happen to get kids to appointments when both parents work. Then, I get a bill in the mail today for $108 for them to look at my sons tooth and tell me they couldnt fix it. And they just had to make sure that I made another appointment so they can bill for that office visit. Bottom line, if you cant do much for a kids tooth, just tell me. Dont waste mine, my kids time and my hard earned money just to tell us there is nothing you can do.

Always cheerful and courteous from the front desk thru the check out process. The Dental Hygienist are gentle and kind as well. Never dread coming for my appointments- which is key when visiting the dentist.

This was my first visit here and it was the best dental cleaning ibe ever had! I told the hygienist I had sensitive teeth. It only hurt once but not bad at all. The dentist was wonderful. Answered my questions and addressed my concerns. Ill be back on a regular basis. Darlyn Clark.

Friendly,fast, knowledgeable, and pretty cheap. I have been to three different dental offices here in frankfort, also one in Lawrenceburg. This is by far the best one locally in my opinion if you have been thinking you need a new dentist this is the place to go to.

Imagine having to wait months for a wisdom teeth extraction Then being called and told they can have you in the next day only for them to “offer other people the same time” I was on the phone and accepted the time the only thing I asked was let me call my work and let them know!

I have never been more unsatisfied with a dentist office. The Dentist is not friendly, whatsoever and they are consistently running behind. I was in there a month ago for fillings and had to wait 20+ minutes. Today I wasted over 30 minutes sitting in the lobby. Annoyed by how far behind they were running I left without being seen. I will never be back. I’m in a profession where I work by appointments as well, and WOULD NEVER expect my clients to wait 10 minutes past their appointment time, let alone 30+ minutes! Totally unprofessional. Have better respect for your patients time.

I just had my teeth cleaned and it was the quickest and most gentle procedure I have ever had !! I am so pleased that I didnt leave the dentist in pain and with bleeding gums from the cleaning procedure . I definitely recommend this dental office as a good place to go to for dental needs .

I absolutely love this office and everyone in it especially Dr Barrington. For years I was scared of the denisit and didnt go which caused alot of issues with cavitys in my mouth and everyone there made me feel so much better about the situation and got all my teeth fixed. I felt extremely comfortable the whole time. They are all very caring. I only wish I found this office sooner. I trust no one else other then this office you guys are the best!!!

Brought our daughter in on day one things went well staff was awesome. Day 2 was a total disaster. You dont get the same people you saw on day one that made you comfortable with choosing them as a dentist. Day 2 is when they change up people on you and you get the other extreme. And they should tell you when you come in on your first visit that you wont be able to come back with your child. However I dont really think this is the policy. I think that someone was having a bad day. However we wont be back and I wont recommend them to ANYONE.

I have had a phobia of dentists since I was 10 years old. After having two unbelievably horrible experiences at age 10 and 24 I was terrified. Today my mind has been changed! Dr. Barrington was absolutely amazing and his staff were as well! I will be recommending this office to all my friends and family!

The dentist seemed to get angry when I was getting my fillings and got smart with me for needing more numbing gel and the second time refused to numb me again and was just very rude, however the assistant was kind and I didnt have to wait long. Overall unless you want to be in pain for a while I suggest you not going here.

The staff was nice & welcoming, but just like with most franchise/corporate establishments, i kind of felt like a number. The Dr. stood behind me at every point of communication, wouldnt even look a man in the face, which came off a bit awkward, spineless , & insincere. To me thats a RED FLAG.

I had the unfortunate experience of coming here after taking 3 years off from the dentist. I had 5 fillings (which were totally my fault) however, they were apparently not able to file a SINGLE ONE to fit the rest of my teeth. I have been in pain for a week, and still do not know if it is fixed. I have never had a pain in my tooth before coming here, and now I have not been able to chew for a week.

Ive always been satisfied with my service until i had my teeth pulled. I paid a lot of money to be able to wear my denture plates from day 1 on, more than if i had waited. Its been 3 weeks and i cant get them near in their place in my mouth. They said it can take up to 10 visits to make them fit, but im pretty sure its supposed to be making them smaller and removing any rubbing places. Not making them bigger just to get them in my mouth. im so disappointed. I cant eat, lost 15lbs, embarrassed to be seen in public to the point i have avoided family outting dinner functions. I would never suggest any one do this ever. Spent more money for something i dont have, its a rip off!
