Went in to be seen for sudden onset back pain. Check in was fine and they warned me there was a bit of a wait so I wasnt surprised to be sitting for 2 hours, but it also didnt help with the pain.When I did make it back to be seen it felt very rushed and almost indifferent. I explained the issue multiple times but somehow the provider seemed to focus on the wrong piece of information repeatedly. (Example: I said I was carrying the baby and they start to ask if this is related to giving birth. No, the baby is 11 months old. But they still circle back to the same presumption multiple times.)The x-ray process was very quick but yielded no information. The provider offered a prescription for steroids and referral for physical therapy. When I explained that I cannot take them as a nursing mother I was given advice on how/when to take them and/or pump and dump. While I didnt expect the provider to be a lactation expert, I would have hoped for an alternative or response that didnt feel so dismissive.I expressing how exasperated I was that the visit had done nothing to help me find a way to minimize or cope with the pain. That I knew a referral for physical therapy would help long term, but I needed to be able to care for my kids today, or lay down and sleep so I could tomorrow. Then the provider offered muscle relaxants but provided a script for what seems to be a newer medication that has no testing/safety information for pregnant or nursing women instead of something with some background data.I left with a slightly better way to describe the pain, paperwork that defined the issue as something that seems wholly unrelated, prescriptions I cannot use, and still in pain. I truly felt like I had been herded through the system as quickly as possible so they could collect payment, not address my complaint or concern.

What a great service that doesn’t require a physicians referral. Loved how professional and caring the entire staff provided. The PA actually listened to me and talked me through the treatment process.Highly recommend anyone to this facility.

I waited almost two hours to be seen at the orthostat clinic. When the nurse practitioner/doctor came in to see me he showed no sympathy for my concerns. I went from a functional adult to a mom who cant take care of her child or drive to work with crying she to severe nerve pain down my leg in one week. I was at my wits end. This nurse examined me then sat facing the wall dictating history I to the computer without talking to me. Then he told me we would do an MRI and schedule a follow up with the doctor. I asked how I was supposed to get through until the visit with the doctor when its so painful I can barely sit on the toilet much less do anything else, he said he could call in a steroid. Even though I have been on a steroid from my family doctor and my pain has only gotten worse. He left the room and the next nurse came in with discharge papers and an order for physical therapy. He never discussed physical therapy with me at all. I had no chance to tell him my concerns about it. I go out to schedule my follow up and the front desk refused to even make an appointment with a spine doctor until my MRI was scheduled. I asked for a copy of the order for mri and she said she could not do that. She told me they would call me, maybe not even the next day because they are so busy.WHY DID I GO TO A WALK-IN CLINIC/URGENT CARE FIR HELP BECAUSE I CANNOT FUNCTION AS I AM TO BE TOLD THEYLL CALL ME IN A FEW DAYS????I could have called the office and made an appointment myself if I thought I could wait that long for help. I have a 14 month old at home that needs her Mom to take care of her. I NEEDED HELP NOW AND THEY DID NOT HELP ME.

We were very pleased with our visit to OrthoStat. They listened carefully and took our concerns seriously. The PA that we saw took the time to explain each possibility and gave us clear next steps for care. Highly recommend.

The initial experience was definitelyone I dont want to repeat ever.They have a new rule that they cant let you know where you are in the queue or check other locations to help you get care.Doesnt seem the rule makers really care about patient experience only in making their office more comfortable.Thankfully Becky the office manager made it happen for us and gave us tips to have better care... she listened and cared... unlike the other reception staff there.

Went in for a possible muscle tear and with minimal evaluation all I got was RICE. They eliminated any Achilles issue and basically left it at that. The people were nice which is why the 3 stars but i can deal with a lack of bed side manner if you are going to actually palpate the area feel for tears and provide an in depth evaluation.

I have used FWO for many years. The doctors there are not only the best around but the whole staff is. They not only care about treating you but make you feel like you are special to them. Today was no different. Today I saw Carrie Price NP and she was very good in knowing what was wrong and how to proceed plus she made the visit enjoyable. James Parker

I took my daughter to Orthostat for a broken bone. Excellent care by team of health care professionals! I only wish the check-in process was faster!

I had to use the WALK-IN CLINIC and the wait was unbelievable. I sat in the outer waiting area as did other patients. I never heard anyone calling any names. After I noticed a man go to the inside waiting area and be seen by the doctor before me, I asked how are patients selected to know whos turn it is to be seen next? I mentioned this to the staff (I think she was the attending physician). I had been waiting almost 3 hours once I was called to the back to be seen everything moved along smoothly everybody was curious and the service was great its just that waiting. That was a mess something really needs to be done about how patience are selected they need to sign in or somebody needs to get me giving a number or something but just to sit and wait and then somebody else be called before you thats pretty upsetting.

I went to my scheduled appt that’s had been made three weeks prior and when I got there I was told that they cancelled my appt because the doctor was not seeing patients for my particular problem any longer. So they canceled my appointment and they never called me to reschedule with somebody else. They then proceeded to send me to the walk-in clinic which I dealt with nurses and a physician assistant that really had no idea what they were doing and told me That I would need to follow up with an actual knee doctor in three weeks. Biggest waste of my time and money

I went there as an out of state visitor, and they treated me like a long-standing patient, except for having to fill out the paperwork. Every person I dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. They advised me of each step and what was going on.A great place, highly recommended.

Fairly pleased with the registration process! Very pleased with the nursing staff and Physician Assistant! It however was a fairly slow process! Overall, we were their for over 2 hours!

I went to Ortho Stat for knee pain from a fall. They were so kind & knowledgeable. I was emotional about my fall, because being a care giver was hard for me. They were so caring & said things do happen. Glad I went to Ortho Stat.

In and out quickly plus being the only ortho walk-in open on a Saturday. (Anything to avoid a regular walk-in clinic with the covid/rsv outbreak going on!) I will be back if needed.

Went to an ER and was basically told they couldnt do anything for me and to go to OrthoSTAT instead. Went the next day and the Dr had a diagnosis very quickly. Torn bicep. Very efficient and listens to your concerns. Hopefully wont need to use them again but wont hesitate the next time.

In Ft Wayne from another state,needing to have fluid taken off my knee! The folks had me in and out in 55 minutes! Outstanding service!

Care is great- but wait times are atrocious- arrived at 11:10am.. it’s now 2;07 pm and all I’ve accomplished is getting X-rays taken- no one can give an estimate of when I will be seen by a doctor or how many are ahead of me

FWO Orthostat was wonderful. I was treated with respect and quite efficiently, from the receptionist to the Nurse to the Xray Tech to the Nurse Practitioner. Everyone was great and answered all my questions. I will gladly use them again if I have any ortho things come up.

I had a wonderful experience at my appointment today with fort wayne orthopedics, they did their best to make sure i wasnt in too much or any discomfort with my injury. They did their best to make sure I wasnt misinformed when it came to treatment and to be very clear on what medication options were the best for my treatment.

Had a great experience, the attending staff was awesome, very nice and caring. Listened to what I had to say and was able to answer all of my question.

Doctor Cooper is very knowledgeable and when he gave me an injection he first made sure I was comfortable. Surprisingly it didnt hurt like I thought it would and only felt a bee sting when needle was going in. Also, the front desk, MA, RN, PA and Xray techs are fabulous and had a good feeling about what they were telling me and knew I was in good hands with them.

I went into The FWO after hours Clinic @ 6:30 p.m. due to chronic/intermittant severe groin/hip pain since having artery surgery last Nov. of 2020. I was seen immediately and taken very seriously. However, given the severity of the possiblities... I was given an appointment to see one of their hip specialists in the office within the next few days and cautioned to go to the E.R. if I had any emergencies before then. 👍

The medical staff was wonderful. The check in receptionist was rude and snide during the check in process.

Dont understand why it takes so long to be seen. This is my second experience with FWO walk in clinic and they are s......l......o......w.I cant believe this. Surely they can provide better patient support. FWO has a good reputation. They have excellent Doctors. But the wait time is ridiculous. Get more ppl in here to help.

3 stars for this visit to orthostat, although I give FWO at least a 4 overall. Im a Lutheran employee and most of my FWO experiences are great. I give the NP, John, one star. He was unfriendly and has poor bedside manner. He spoke way too fast and I had to ask him to repeat himself multiple times. He did not do a good job answering my questions and I felt rushed out.However the whole experience fast and organized and FWO in general is a well oiled machine.

Everyone was nice and helpful. I didnt have a long wait.

Hands down best experience I have ever had with having 2 surgeries 5 months apart. Dr Winters whole team and Dr Nelsons whole team are awesome! Both teams from phone nurses to Medical Assts to NPs and PAs ALWAYS had/have my best interest at heart. Never felt like a burden, never felt judged and the portal survey they send you day 1 to assess and able to communicate with them without calling, I have not enough words! I highly recommend FWO.

Very good experience went in with ankle pain.ex-rays looked good , tibiofibular ligament sprained. The ankle support they put on worked wonders sure glad I went in. Two to four weeks to heal, sure will be easier in this ankle support. Good service for these Covid times. Staff really courteous and kind. Thanks FWO will recommend to all I know who get injured.

They take people out of order! This is supposed to be first come first serve but they have taken 3 people that walked in after me before me. Ug 1 1/2 hour wait But here I sit waiting! People aren’t the friendliest. When the nurse came out and told everyone that it was 1 1/2 wait, she the went back and told her colleges that no one left and thought people would leave and no one did. She was mad.

Considering that it was a Monday, and a walk-in clinic, the wait was not bad and the staff were friendly and kind and very helpful. I left feeling more informed and calmer about my broken leg them before I arrived.

All the staff was very helpful and courteous even the x-ray technician was very courteous and helpful this was much better than experience than what I experienced at the hospital I would not have a problem coming again and visiting this facility thank you for all your work

I see Dr. Gerald Cooper for my osteoarthritis in my knees. He repaired the meniscus in my right knee (arthroscopic). 6 month later I was wakeboarding in my 40s!! He always listens to my issues and gives me appropriate treatments. At 52 I’m still waterskiing, playing pickleball and riding my road bike 15 miles. He is so encouraging and helpful to my mobility. His staff and nurse Sara are incredible teammates for my healthcare. She goes above and beyond to make everything seamless. I fondly call him Super Cooper for taking such super care of me. Thank you FWO, Sara and Super Cooper!!

Dr. Kolettis is nothing short of amazing! He is the most caring surgeon I have come across! He made sure that not only the surgery went well, but also pre-operately and the rehab period. Very attentive. Very talented surgeon with wonderful bedside manor! Would recommend 100x over!

My 3 year old fell at Sky Zone and broke his arm, we had to come here to get a cast put on it. They were great and we didnt have to wait very long to get called back or wait hardly at all for the Dr to then come in. I was actually surprised and impressed with this place, especially considering its a walk-in clinic.

Unfortunately I’ve had to use orthostat with one of my children twice in a 2 month time. Fortunately everyone that has helped us at Fort Wayne ortho have been great!

Friendly and experienced staff working for the bone and joint health of their patients. Only complaint is their self pay options for non insured customers is expensive. $100 to walk through the door your first visit and $50 for any return visits with additional billing to come by mail. Not necessarily their fault, but still an unfortunate reality.

I fractured and dislocated my ankle. FWO were fantastic. I was terrified of what would happen to me but the staff were all so lovely and made me feel better about everything to do with my injuries. Thank you ladies you all rock and I would recommend you to everyone ❤️❤️

Doctor was very informative and provided a detailed suggested action plan. Rather then rushing me into surgery, he looked at my recovery and wants to make sure I have the best possible outcome. I look forward to seeing Dr. Schneider in three months for my follow up.
