Dr Eric Baxmann is the most talented, professional, knowledgeable and honest Dentist I have ever seen over many, many years. If I could give him 6 STARS believe me I would. After moving 145 miles from the area my wife and I drive 290 miles round tripto see him and his phenomenal staff every 6 months. We have had the pleasure of entrusting him with our dental care for 18 years.His demeanor is really great and we trust his judgement completely. His goal is to do everything possible to maintain the health of our teeth for the long run instead of so easily recommending crowns , fillings or any unnecessary work when not needed.

My husband and I have been coming to to Dr Carlson since our move to FL in 2015. Jennifer our hygienist is great, as well as the dental assistants and office staff. This office was responsive in providing an appointment for one of our out of town friends, with a dental issue.

I went here for about 2 years. Everything was good until I was charged $400 to fix a chipped tooth. They didn’t even numb me for it. They charged me for an x-ray and an “oral eval.” The entire process took approximately 20-25 mins. Good dentist for normal check-ups, but if you need work done, they are on the more expensive side.

Having been away for a time, the staff welcomed me back with kind words and warm smiles. I had broken a tooth, and Dr. Carlton was great at providing a crown to fix the problem. The staff was very helpful in getting the insurance set up for this and future visits. So glad to be back in the care of the best dental group in the area.

We moved from Sanibel to Naples 4 years ago and it is worth every mile in the car to return. Actually it is just up through Ft Myers Beach. Last month I had a cracked tooth and crown put in and they got me in quickly and done perfectly. Today I had my teeth checked and cleaned and they look and feel great. I’ve had a chronic cough for a few years and she was so patient working with me. Why would I want to go anywhere else!

Doctor Baxman gave me my smile back. I cant thank him enough. There arent any words. My wife was right when she said he was worth the hour drive. Best damn dentist in SWFL. The staff was amazing too. The front office staff can be pretty grumpy, but the overall experience makes it worth dealing with that.

The only dentist that I have known to have very high ethics and morals. Dr. Baxmann is conservative with his approach to treatment. He does what is necessary. I would highly recommend anyone that is searching for honest assessments and gentle care. The hygienists are the most thorough and gentle that I have experienced in the past 40 years.

Dr. CarltonIs totally on top of my dental health care which I am grateful. He caught a hidden decay and fixed it quickly without pain.I have deeply embedded fear of dental work which he dealt with compassionately. He talked as he did each step of the numbing procedureSo I didnt even feel the needle.The drilling part might have been very painful because the decay went into the root but it wasnt because he had prepared for that possibility.. I am grateful.

My experience with the entire staff at SWFLD has been exceptional. I dont know how to say this without it sounding quite negative but its actually positive. I had some balance problems & while being told to lie down, the dental tech who usually helped me sit & then lie back turned & started to leave the room. I fell back against the stainless steel arm of the dental chair. I fractured 4 vertebrae & had a hematoma the size and shape of a grapefruit sty the bar of my spine. I have friends & neighbors who are lawyers and they each encouraged me to sue, especially since I am financially needy and am a disabled Doctor. The idea of suing even the insurers of such a dedicated group of humans was anathema to me. I have many dental problems since moving to Florida and these are the people I would like to have do it. Sure I would love it if someone gave me money, but nothing can replace caring, qualified professionals. Ive had 2 surgeries since then and will likely require at least one more, all related to that fall. Im embarrassed at getting old & requiring help. I wish I could get out more. But if my back could take it & if I had the funds Id love to take such a friendly group out to dinner. Theyre good people!

Dani is an awesome hygienist. She is careful to be gentle while still giving you a great clean. Thanks for taking care of me at my moment of need. The experience was good I like the precautions the practice was taking. Little shocked when I had to pay the bill I was not expecting over $500 for one filling, but I guess that’s the going rate.
