There should be a way to rate 10 Stars!This medical office is easy to find and the staff is super courteous and kind. Starting with a super sweet receptionist right when I walked in.She immediately welcomed me and got me started on my paper work. Jason was such a helpful human, and just ridiculously full of knowledge. Ask him anything!! He answered all of my questions and has a wonderful attitude!!Took his time and made me feel very relaxed, I forgot my glasses and he had to help me a lot. THANK YOU JASON 😁Dr Bruhn has a terrific bedside manner, and made me feel comfortable while explaining everything thoroughly. I could not have asked for a better experience. I would recommend this office to all my family and friends-definitely a great experience. Excellent staff, excellent Doctor!

Beware:. This is one of those shady, pay for a card places. $250 bucks plus another $77 to file. $327= anyone gets a card. There are several other places locally that charge half that. Dont fall for the scam. Shop around before you fall victim to their flashy ads, and highest pricing designed to take advantage of the vulnerable. Shameless places like this dont deserve honest customers and are no better than drug dealers of yesteryear.

Absolutely no concern for Covid-19 safety. Only one person wore a mask during my visitl. I have been so used to healthcare facilities taking precautions, that it didnt really come to my attention until Dr Sonn arrived without a mask. We were brief, yes. And I was out quickly. As I was escorted out, I took a look around. The place was PACKED, with no social distancing, no questions about possible covid exposure, nor temperature checks. When I inquired why nearly no-one was masked, the receptionist stated that it wasnt required by Dr. Sonn, unless a patient asks.Thank goodness I waited in the car!

This office has very little if any covid restrictions. No mask is required until you see the Dr. Most staff are unmask and when questioned the reply was. We once thought canibis was bad.!

The transfer process couldn’t be easier, the staff members are both extremely professional and knowledgeable, and yet they make it a very warm and caring experience. From the call to schedule the appointment, to the doctor you meet with, and everyone in between, you interact with a staff that treats you like a person, and like they want to help you. Seemed efficient. I got an appointment in two days but after finishing all the intake paperwork I sat in an office waiting for the doc for over an hour!! Unprofessional. And dangerously ignorant of state policy. the gentleman I initially spoke with was trying to help. We were both frustrated at the situation. Then some female, who identified herself as a supervisor, rudely interrupted/took over the call. Completely birating me about my age and what she felt I was responsible for. She believe I needed to be as up to date with the changing of state policy as she was. Once I figured out she was more interested in putting me in my place VS helping find a resolution. I hung up. I have since called 2 other Dr offices who have told me that she didnt know what she was talking about in regards to the policy in question. Getting a new dr and a strongly recommend others do the same.

The initial visit went very well but trying to get an appointment for the follow up visit was so frustrating that I had already made an appointment to see another prescriber before the clinic finally got in touch. I first contacted them by phone and email on Friday and did not hear from them until Wednesday afternoon. And after making the appointment and receiving a confirmation email, today I got a text asking if I had succeeded in scheduling an appointment and I confirmed that I had but then received a further message offering me appointment date choices. The staff is very pleasant and friendly but the disorganized process for making an appointment takes away some of that initial good feeling about the place.

They understand, There Compassion is Key! For 30 years other Drs have told me things that were wrong with me. From Personality Disorder, Major Depression, Fibromyalgia, Severe Anxiety, Social Phobia, PTSD, Chronic Pain. So much more. Its true I have been through some horrific tragedies . I at one time had 15 daily Meds from Antipsychotics, Been on just about every Antidepressant, Adderall , and of coarse like many Severe Narcotic Abuse. Okay if your still reading one glance at a story, I was injured in 1998. A car wreck shattered my hips, Broke my C2. They told me I wouldnt walk again, when I did that they said you will always have a limp. Swelling of the brain, Drs said I will Never be able to function again in society. Thats only one small story. So you see at 19 y/o I did not know what Pills did, after a year I thought I would just stop and stop drinking with them. NOPE! Almost 20 years later I found Dr.Sonn. I was so nervous to see him, I thought Dr. Sonn was gonna be like every single Dr. I have ever spoke to. Most just act like they here me and off I go. I Stayed up the night before my appointment thinking how to start this roller coaster story of my life. As soon as I walked through the door he took my Medical papers, read them, then said he would be happy to help. Explained to me what it was all about, How it works. He took his time explaining Everything to me. Did you read that? Amazing! He didnt want to hear about my Horror stories about my life. He read my papers, there was no need to go there. So refreshing! There was no judgement on me. This is Proof there are Drs out there with your best interest in mind, He is one. FR. I do not have any Drs now , I take nothing now except Medical Marijuana, (NOT A DRUG!) also thats just my opinion. Im sure a lot of others feel the same way too. I figured out what works for me, I remember it made me Paranoid when I was younger. Not anymore this gives me a sense of well being, No more cravings (long Gone). I enjoy my life now. (That is priceless) People they have this down. This is science. This is the only medicine I will ever need! Stop believing all these horrible things these Drs tell you. Your only going to make it happen. This is my opinion only, I know there are wonderful Drs out there that mean well. On the other hand theres Big Pharm. Enough said.! Look at Our Community , The Country, The World. I will never go to another Dr. Besides Iona!!! No more lies for me please lol. Iona feels like that friend you can call that cares. Every single day I thought was my last for years because I trusted other Dr.s advice. Dont trust people who label you. There are no labels being placed upon people at Iona.The Whole Medical Marijuana Community is not just making us better it seems to be forming a much better community. I was so excited for the change in Florida laws allowing MMJ. I have a lot of arthritis and pain, including spinal arthritis cervical to lumbar, for about 10yrs from hard work and sports. I have been dealing with spinal epidurals and pain meds for 5yrs and Im only 63 and had ENOUGH of that misery!I was sitting at my PM Dr waiting for a lumbar epidural and picked up a paper and read about Iona Cannabis Clinic and Dr Sonn. Talk about a sign. Long story short(er) made an appointment, went in and all staff were great folks to deal with every step of the way. They completed all steps needed and I walked out the door to wait on confirmation email from the state.I have been using my new medicine for a week now and I can say the improvements started quickly. Within 2 days chronic problems with my GI tract caused by opioids dramatically improved helping to restore my appetite. I have an overall improvement in well being in the first week and reduced my pain meds moving towards elimination.Thanks to Dr Sonn and staff I have a new outlook on the quality of the rest of my life, it was getting pretty dim. I was at the end of the road with my traditional treatment and was desperate for this change. Thanks also to everyone who supports MMJ...its about time!!
