I had my appointment with Allison Rose Nichols, the PAC for Dr. Hans Coester. She is extraordinary. She spent as much time as I needed explaining the parts of my own spine that needed help, using diagrams, models, my MRI, etc. She patiently answered questions thoroughly and in a way I could understand. She didnt seem to mine repeat questions (the spine is pretty complicated!). I cannot say enough good things about her and this office.

The entire staff is attentive, friendly, and highly professional. I was always seen promptly at my appointments. If I had questions I would receive very timely responses. My surgery experience was top notch and I never hesitated to put 100% of my trust in Dr. Coester. Allison Nichols, PAC did all of my follow up care and she is phenomenal at everything she does. She genuinely cares about her patients and listens very attentively and never makes you feel she is rushed. I would never go anywhere else!!!

I recently had surgical decompression and fusion of my L4/L5 vertebra by Dr. Coester at the Medical Center of the Rockies (MCR). The experience was amazing, I had some discomfort immediately after surgery but within a few hours I was able to walk and have needed virtually no narcotics. And my original problem, severe stenosis, seems to have been totally resolved. But beyond Dr. Coesters skills as a surgeon, he is a genuine humane and humble person. I cant say enough good things about him. And as well, MCR was an excellent experience, more like an upscale hotel than a hospital.

After almost a year of horrible back pain, decided to undergo surgery, second fusion in 3 years. Happy to say that I am finally almost pain free!!! Thank you Dr Coaster!!!

I am so grateful to Dr. Coaster for fixing my back issue. I especially appreciated his ability avoid surgery if it could be avoided. Unfortunately, in my case, it was required. I feel so much better and I am incredible grateful to him and his staff for being quick, taking good care of me and helping me regain my health. Thank you x 1000.

It is three years after a failed fusion surgery that Dr Coester performed. When I came in with new concerning symptoms I was sent for some tests. After three tests I received a message that Dr Coester could not meet with me and could do nothing for me. He would not even meet with me to discuss options. Finally he ignored another doctors recommendation for further testing and refused to order a full back MRI. Very disappointing to be in so much pain and feel completely abandoned by the surgeons office who did my surgery.

Becky Albrecht, the surgery scheduler; condescending, disrespectful, and unprofessional.The level of disrespect I was treated with was ridiculous. She would not answer the phone even though this is her job, yet I mentioned nothing of this and was very polite when I finally got a call back.She started off with obvious unhindered disrespect. She just short of insulted my name, then made it very clear she did not want to talk to me and any calm vocabulary would be forced. She held to a clear condescending tone the rest of the call. And she became angry at me when I wished to schedule ahead of time, instead of the date she picked. She had no care of my situation.I was calling to schedule a major surgery, employers require notice, time off has to be requested, schedules have to be made around this, I still have responsibilities, and in the mean time I have to deal with the severe pain; yet I was somehow inconveniencing her. She was almost as bad as the VA, and I would never want anyone to have to be treated the way the VA treats us; this was a close second.

Allison Nichols has been treating my dad for a brain injury from a fall since May. She is kind, professional and respectful. She explains everything very well.

The only thing I am not happy about is the scheduling person was told I would be called the same day and still have not heard from her!

They scheduled me quickly, sent me for MRIs which were done the same week. They were nice and respectful and seemed sincere to my issues.
