I came in with two friends on Saturday morning for blowouts before a bridal shower, and one of the friends was actually the bride. We were seated quickly and then shampooed, and my service was great. Paid $32 plus tip and I had no complaints.Another friend was satisfied with her service, but paid more... a little weird that we would be paying different amounts, but I guess she has more hair?Finally, the bride did not receive any styling of her hair and paid more as well. Her stylist refused to use any kind of hot tool on her hair, claiming that isnt what was booked. If that was the case, wouldnt we have all gotten the same treatment? Even after explaining we were immediately going to her bridal shower, the stylist still would not make any accommodations. Seems bizarre after I confirmed the bookings included a style. Who would pay over $30 for their hair to ONLY be washed and blow dried??? We all had completely different experiences, and paid different amounts... it doesnt seem like that should be the case.To add insult to injury, I called to speak with a manager about this several days ago and have yet to receive a call back. Seems like its pretty hit or miss here depending on who your stylist is, so I wouldnt risk it. Take your money somewhere more consistent.

Brittany is fantastic!! She did such a great job! My hair looks fantastic. The salon also has a super cute style that makes you feel at home. One of the other stylists offered me a beverage immediately upon arrival and got me checked in, which was way nice! Honestly, everyone working there was really kind and friendly. It sets a wonderful tone for being in the salon!Overall, very highly recommend! I’m happy to have found my new spot in Fort Collins!

Cant thank Reed enough for my cut/ color! He did an amazing job!! I am a natural curly redhead and I do not go get my hair done all the time, he made me so comfortable and confident about the whole thing. New client, had never been there before today. Made an appointment a couple weeks ago in which I had to enter my credit card information. Arrived early, checked in and the receptionist then disappeared, no offer for a beverage or indication of wait time. 20 minutes later and now 15 minutes past appointment time, I approach the front desk, but nobody was there. After waiting about 6 more minutes, finally one of the stylists left her client to ask me if I needed help. The stylist I had booked with (who I didnt know) was actually right next to me, so she would have had to have seen me waiting. She told the other stylist it would be about 3 more minutes. Now we are at 30 minutes past my appointment time. While she was very nice, she said I should have received a call that she was running behind. I drove 30 minutes for the appointment in the middle of a work day. I ended up canceling the appointment because it was going to take 2.5 hours from that time to do a cut/balayage. She did offer to discount my next appointment, but I dont think Ill be going back.

To start off I just want to say how much of a heaven sent Ms. Lauren Miget is. Ive always had horrible experiences with hairstylists since I have really thick and frizzy hair. This led to me having long hair, but it wasnt very healthy. I walked into The Parlour wanting a big chop and Lauren did just that. She started me off a bit longer just in case I didnt like it short. After a week, I went back free of charge to get my hair a bit shorter. Overall, Lauren cut off 9 inches of hair and I couldnt be happier. Shes a great stylist and I cant see myself getting my hair cut by anyone else in the future!

Samantha was amazing! I have long, thick, coarse hair that can be difficult to work with and I am so happy with my cut!!! Thank you!

Liz did an amazing job coloring my hair and installing a new set of extensions. Having had extensions for many years, I was prepared for my scalp to be in pain afterwards but she so gently and easy going on my hair, I could barely tell she was sewing the extensions in. Im so happy with her work and you can barely tell I have extensions in. Im glad I found her and am excited to have a stylist closer to home!

Absolutely love Carly for hair. She is a color expert and she gets it right every time. She is fun, and real, and knows her stuff. You can tell she has been doing this for a while. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair.

They really know what theyre doing when it comes to cutting hair. I didnt really know what I wanted and they made it really easy to figure out what to do. And everyone is very friendly and nice to talk to while youre there.

The ladies did a wonderful job on my 4 kids hair. The Fort Collins location is great. The shop was clean and the people were friendly. They offer all of us something to drink. If anyone asks me who to go to to get their hair styled, I know who I will recommend. They donated their time and mad skill to my kids. Their new hair styles will give them extra confidence in school. They have had a hard time adjusting to school, moving 50 miles from all their friends and trying to make new ones. They have never been happier. Thank you

Yesterday was my first time here. My stylist, Lauren, did an excellent job in cutting and coloring my hair. She seems very knowledgeable and highly skilled. She listened and answered my questions and was very efficient in her work. While waiting for my color to process, I sat at a corner that looked out to a very pleasant view. I even enjoyed a half glass of Malbec.The place has some lovely touches, such as the wooden trim on the windows. The cute little chandeliers added to the whimsy and character.My only (and small) complaint is that the assistant who helped Lauren that day seemed rather inexperienced but Im sure shell become better.

I love The Parlour in Fort Collins! The staff is friendly, accommodating, and professional - they always try to meet my appointment date/time needs and if they cant, they provide other suitable options. The salon itself, is nice, comfortable and who doesnt love having a complimentary glass of wine while you get your haircut. It is like a mini retreat wrapped in to an hour or two.

Worth every penny. The team at The Parlour, especially Rachel, are absolutely golden. My wife and daughter get their haircut there and it’s such an enjoyable experience for them. Highly recommend checking them out.

This is the best hair salon! Ive been to numerous places in northern Colorado and have never left with what I came in asking for, even if I bring pictures. I came in to see Samantha with some ideas but no pictures. She was spot on with the cut and color I wanted. She is amazing with color and had no trouble getting my hair to the platinum blonde with a dark shadow underneath that I wanted. Her skill amazes me and I really enjoy our conversations. Overall, I would have a hard time going anywhere else! I highly recommend Samantha to anyone and everyone!

The parlour absolutely butchered my hair. I came in with long nice hair and asked for a mere trim. I walked out with a short preppy hair cut. By no means what I asked for. This is by far THE WORST cut I have ever gotten. Ever.

If I could rate zero stars I would. I have been to this location multiple times, and I never get a consistent result or what I’ve asked for. I’ve shown pictures and tried to explain multiple times, I am also a licensed hair dresser that cannot work because I am disabled. My mother who is a client there also had a terrible experience her last visit. I will not name her nor the stylists, but the stylist basically blamed her for not getting the result she desired. Then in addition when she was processing the music stopped and my mom heard the two stylists (that we go to) bad mouthing both my mom and I. It was so bad another stylists overheard and had to go into the color room and tell them everyone could hear what they were saying. Then even after that they never apologized, and still blamed her for the way her hair came out. My mom also shows them pictures every time. I happen to know my mom tips very, very well. As for me I give up, I will never go back or refer anyone. As for my mom she’s going to move forward with her current stylist to see if they can get things worked out. However she is very displeased with how unprofessional they were and that they blamed the outcome of her hair on her and I, when it was their work. I have had lots of breakage, over processed areas, yellow hair, changes in processing from appt. to appt. and most of what I have experienced my mom has also experienced.

I’ve been to this location more than once, visiting two different stylists. All the times I went I would find mistakes in my cuts and notice things that didn’t look right. Last time I went I asked for bangs but wasn’t sure if I wanted a bob or an a symmetrical cut. Let’s just say that I’ve only had my bangs messed up twice in my life and that was #2. I walked about being happy with my cut just to find out later that she had covered up all her mistakes with a curling iron. Never going there again!!

I wanted to get her hair highlighted before we took our first family photo with our newborn son. I had gone to the parlour before for several haircuts and they always did a good job. So I decided this time to have them highlight my hair.What a mistake! The constantly messed up and ended up coloring my hair 3 times. The first 2 times it turned out orange and by the 3rd time she looked like a skunk with blond highlights. It was so bad the first thing my husband said to me was you need to get that fixed. I ended up being there for the whole day, only to return the next day to have someone else fix it. After the next day, they were able to tone down the highlights although it wasnt exactly what I wanted, but the multiple colorings really dried out her hair.To add insult to injury, they made me pay to get her hair fixed. To this day I still get upset at what the parlour did to my hair.

I love this place! The atmosphere is pleasant/chic, the staff is super welcoming when I come in and they seat me with wine, or beer, or coffee! They even have chocolate while your color sits (dont have to ask me twice). But the real reason I keep coming back is my stylist Rachel Rota and her mad skills. Every time I go, I tell her to do what she thinks will look best on my hair because I trust her opinion, and I have never had so many compliments on my hair from friends/family and random strangers! The cut is complimenting to my face shape and my color comes out great and vibrant, and whatever products she has me using my hair hasnt felt this healthy in years. If its hard to get an appt with her its because shes clearly sought after, so I book my appts out 8-10 weeks and never have a problem. But shes be worth the wait!

Hi all,I went to the parlour to get a cut/color the week before my sisters wedding. The color was okay, it was a lot darker than I wanted and I felt like they didnt listen to me but the hair-cut was very bad. I was very upset about it. I have suffered from low self-esteem because while it has been growing back. I tried to contact the manager about it but apparently, my messages never make it through the front desk because after calling and leaving messages I have not heard back.I tell everyone now not to go there. On top of giving me the worst haircut of my life; they were incredibly rude and mean to me.Amanda.

I decided to try The Parlour because of the good reviews, and it was absolutely perfect! Its nice, but not over the top so it feels comfortable. Everyone was really friendly and welcoming.I went in to go platinum blonde, but I was nervous because my hair has a natural reddish color in it so its harder for me to get anything other than a golden blonde, but I figured I would just go for it and see what happens. My stylist was Alison, and she was absolutely amazing. She said blonde was her specialty and I believe her! I showed her a picture of the color and cut I had in mind, and she matched it. I am so impressed because like I said, getting the brassiness out of my hair has been a challenge for other stylists in the past. My hair is now an awesome platinum blonde, and I couldnt be happier with it. I would definitely recommend Alison to anyone, she really knows what shes doing.
