I wanted a wolf cut like in a photo and got a bad bob instead, i didn’t want to be mean but I was very upset and angry, it seemed like they didn’t even study the photo! It has long layers in the bottom and shorter ones on top. And the bangs frame the face. Instead of wolf cut, I got a Dora version of berries and cream. 2 stars because they were nice and have great service but I would like to see if I can get a refund for this travesty. I had to fix it myself and it looks a thousand times better than what I was given!!!!!

Meghan! Meghan is going to keep me returning to Gallipott for as long as shes around. Ive been searching for her for awhile now. She did an excellent job on my thick hair, is extremely capable and intuitive, and seemed to know how to give me a cut that also suited my overall aesthetic. Shes also just a fun and kind person.Ive read every bio, and looked at cut photos from nearly every stylist in Fort Collins trying to do my research to find someone like her. This has been a long process of finding the right stylist for me.The large majority of the haircuts I get are not good. Ive grown used to being unhappy with even a trim, and because of this I dont get my hair cut frequently enough. Its long, its thick, its kind of unruly but not in a cute way. I also have a couple of decade-old dreadlocks that I keep around. Most stylists who cut my hair seem to be afraid, or weirded out by them. Meghan was totally cool with it, and didnt bat an eye. Just because I dont style my hair a lot and have a couple of dreadlocks, doesnt meant I dont want an excellent cut that makes me feel good, and Meghan gets that.Many stylists run out of time with my hair, and let me leave without fully drying or styling it. Meghan said, I hope youll let me style your hair before you leave (I had mentioned that I let my hair air-dry). Yes! I want to feel like my cut is worth the time Im paying for it, and its nice to feel like my hair is not a burden to the stylist.Ive discovered that many stylists dont have a lot of experience cutting thick hair (or doing it well), but Meghan clearly knows whats shes doing with it.It was a simple trim, but trims arent always as simple as you think. Ive been shocked at how many simple trims have really made my hair look bad. Im so pleased with my simple trim, and Im getting lots of compliments on my hair.Book in advance! She fills up quickly, and her time is worth every penny. Thank you Meghan!

Ive been going to Gallipot for several years for haircuts and always been quite happy with the results .. until my last visit. I was scheduled towards the end of the day and the barber rain out of time, running late from the previous cut so that I had to wait nearly an hour. I understand that this happens but the problem was that my haircut was rushed, and the young lady at the front desk was already complaining about having to stay late. No one likes to feel like theyre not getting their allotted time and rushed out the door, especially at a high market place.

My daughter had a bleach incident (of her own doing) and she needed a good cut to get rid of the damage. She had a great consultation at Gallipot followed by an amazing hair cut. I am super fussy about haircuts and every cut I watched transpire while I was there was gorgeous! I highly recommend Gallipot!

Loved Josh’s help with finding the perfect color of foundation. Been getting my hair colored by Nikki Nelson for years, and will not go to anyone else. She is the best. Brooke is so friendly over the phone and in person. The only negative interactions I have at this salon have been with Ann. She’s extremely rude and unfriendly.

If you are looking to go blonder but keep things low maintenance and natural looking, I cannot emphasize enough that you have to see Nikki!! I have actually waited a few months to post this review to see how my cut and color has stood the test of time and I honestly couldn’t be happier.I recently moved to Colorado but previously I have largely seen the same stylist for the last decade regardless of where I lived within a few hours. Whenever I couldn’t travel to see him and visited a local stylist, I’ve always been disappointed with a brassy warm blonde after just a couple months no matter how much purple shampoo or whatever I used.When I first met Nikki, she warmly received the coloring recommendations my original stylist had made and gave that method a shot. Now it’s months later with a perfect, cool and natural blonde color and no brassiness in sight! Bonus that she’s a sweet and kind animal lover that was super easy to chat with throughout the appointment too!

I had such an amazing experience at this salon! I came in with a bad haircut from another salon, so naturally I was very nervous. Julie took care of me and was so sweet and kind! I loved the salon atmosphere but after showing my stylist a picture and him beginning my color, he had another client arrive in the middle of my service and began rushing. At the end he didn’t even offer to style it- just blow dried and shuffled me out the door. It wasn’t until I got home that I got to look at whatever was done to my hair, and the strawberry blonde I had wanted was bright red with blonde streaks at the crown. Needless to say it was a waste of $200.

The salon staff is very nice and courteous and the salon has a welcoming atmosphere. I was in Fort Collins for a wedding and booked an appointment for an updo. I have shoulder length hair and did not receive an updo at all. I showed my stylist, Josh pictures of what I wanted and we talked about the style. My hair was not even put up, instead, it was pinned back in a straight piece what looked more like a beaver tail. I was very disappointed in this service.

I went in to get a color correction because I just died it blue and I didnt like it. They said that they couldnt ensure he the blue would all come out but that it could be covered up with a darker color, which was fine with me. But that didnt happen and instead I left bawling after paying $250 for my hair to be a disgusting greenish blue. Im devastated

Got a cut from Julie a few weeks ago and still LOVE IT! I’ve gone to the same stylist for 20 years until going to Julie but wow she knocked it put of the park! The space is gorgeous, clean, and everyone there is very professional. Their products are amazing and Julie did a fantastic job cutting and styling my hair. It was very expensive but it’s worth it for an occasional cut/color/style.

Ive been getting my hair styled by Samantha for a few years and she is the absolute best at cutting my natural curls!! I would highly recommend her and all the great staff at Gallipott. Everyone is so friendly and talented.

Ever since I found Gallipott on a google search and decided to take a risk, and Im very happy I did. In terms of having high standards but a college wallet, this is a perfect fit as it is not overly expensive but great quality. The environment is chic and fun and I recommend my stylist Joshua a thousand times over! Glad I came.

Such a great experience! We had a terrible experience at another salon and had to switch last minute for my friends wedding. They were able to fit us all and did our hair perfectly day of the wedding without a trail. True artists at their craft. They saved my best friends wedding 🥰

I love this place! It’s a beautiful salon with a gorgeous view. Samantha Luhrs is one of the best stylists I’ve ever had. I don’t live in Colorado so whenever I’m planning a visit I book my appointments with her months out because I have never been able to find anyone who takes care of my hair the way she does. I like getting my hair lighter and other salons/stylists always go over kill and make my hair much lighter than I want. She always gives me very natural looking highlights and delightful conversation. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the salon or Samantha.

I miss Gallipott so much! I recently moved to the east coast and just got a long overdue haircut. It had been 6 months since my last haircut with Britt and my east coast hair stylist commented on how she could tell how good my last haircut was, 6 months out. I just wanted to give a shout out to Britt - she is an excellent stylist and works wonders with short bobs!

I was looking for a new hair dresser in Fort Collins and found Nikki at Gallipott. What a great experience. Everyone was so nice and the salon is beautiful. Nikki spent a lot of time with me making sure she knew what I wanted and what would work best for my hair type. The shampoo room/experience was amazing and loved all the products she used. I would go back just for a shampoo and blow dry. Love the haircut!!

I had a wonderful experience here. It was clean and bright and airy inside. The person who cut my hair, Taylor, did an awesome job and talked me through my haircut as we went to make sure that I liked the way it was turning out. He was also very friendly and was great at keeping a conversation going. What really stood out to me here is the quality of the products being used and the pricing. All products are organic and vegan/cruelty free (except for one product which has lanolin but I was assured that no animals are harmed to make this product) and a womens haircut cost me about $49! Excluding tip of course. This is the first salon Ive been to that has priced a haircut based off of something other than hair length, I have very long hair and am used to paying $70-$80 for a good haircut plus more for a blow out. The $49 included the cut, shampoo and blow out. Im so happy I found this place and would recommend it to anyone!

Gallipott has a cool atmosphere and very nice employees. I love my hair every time I walk out of those doors! They are also very good at dying hair and you always get vibrant colors.💇‍♀️ Overall I like the results I get and am pleased every time I visit!

I saw Annaliese today and my expectations were blown away! I came in with no idea what I wanted. I conveyed my hair problems to Annaliese and she recommended the perfect low maintenance cut for my needs and lifestyle. I am so in love with the final cut! I walked out feeling like a new person. She was so knowledgable about products and making sure I got the best bang for my buck. 10/10 I will make sure to schedule again with her in the future.

I cant recommend Gallipot enough. The owner, Nikki, is my hair hero. I came to this salon after my hair was damaged by a stylist at a salon in Loveland and Nikki not only repaired the damage but I now have beautiful, healthy hair. Ive had complete strangers compliment my haircut. I have short cut with color and perm. My color looks natural and Nikki does an awesome job with highlights. The products are amazing and smell great! Sarah at the front desk is professional and a wizard at keeping my appointments for multiple services scheduled and the rest of the staff is friendly, caring and professional. From the front desk and the amazing products to the unique shampoo room and ultra relaxing scalp massage to the excellent cut, color and perm I walk out looking great and feeling pampered. You owe it to yourself and your hair to try Gallipot. Once you do, you wont want to go anywhere else!

They tend to not inform you of when they want to charge extra. She asked very nonchalantly if I wanted the corners of my lips waxed real quick with no mention of it costing extra, I said sure, ended up with an extra $15 charge on my bill. I’ve been going here for a couple of years but this really changed my perspective on this company’s morals, won’t be coming back.

Beautiful salon with wonderful people. Understanding of what you want- in my case I just wanted to lighten up the dark dye and keep my natural roots. They also have the best shampoo room ever, an experience in itself.

Britt did an absolutely amazing job! I came in to get 8+ inches chopped & wanted a shaggy sort of pixie style that would work with hair that, depending on the day, can be extra curly or moderately wavy, with the front usually straighter. Ive gotten lots of compliments and absolutely LOVE my haircut. Everyone here is super friendly, there are complimentary drinks while you wait, and the space is chic, clean, & fun. Plus the products they use for the wash smell amazing. Definitely coming back again when my hair grows out.

I booked a balayage and cut with Joshua in June. When I arrived to the salon I noticed theyd placed chairs on their breezeway outside for clients to sit and also had a large bottle of hand sanitizer for customer use nearby. The receptionist came out to check with me immediately and get me checked into my appt. and was very friendly. All of the staff wore a mask and it was immaculate in the building. Now, for the hair. I loved Joshua! He did exactly what I asked for and treated me like gold. My hair has a perfect caramel balayage and he made my hair feel like silk, it is so soft! Not only is my hair fantastic but Joshua was kind, fun, and professional- you can tell he really is passionate about what he does. He did not rush anything and was very detail oriented. I heard him talking with other staff members and it appears they all have a really good working environment and were friendly with one another. During Covid-19 I have been very worried about where to get my hair done because I wanted a place that would ensure a clean/safe environment. I think in life we get what we pay for and I am glad I spent the money at Gallipott for great hair and service. Will definitely return!

Update: I had taken away 1 star because of the lack of good front desk personnel, but that is no longer a problem. Sarah is freaking amazing & has transformed the customer service experience.The stylists here are truly professionals at their craft. The atmosphere is very pleasant and modern. Love the star room for washing.

This is one of the best hair salon experiences Ive had! I have had long hair for the majority of my life, and Britt gave me an AMAZING pixie cut. Its hard to find hair stylists who not only know how to do pixie cuts well, but also enjoy styling pixie cuts. If you are looking to chop off A LOT of hair, I highly recommend going to Britt at Gallipott!

I was visiting from out of town and picked this salon based on Google reviews. I went in for a blow out before an event. When I made my reservation I advise I needed to be done by 5:30pm. My reservation was for 4:45pm, leaving 45 min for the blow out. I arrived at 4:40, but waited until 5:04 before my stylist grabbed me. I told her why I was there and I needed to be gone by 5:30, at the latest 5:40 for my event. As shes doing my hair for a while, I can tell this is taking too long and remind her of my deadline. She checks the time and it is 5:47pm. She is 1/3 done. Now she starts rushing to finish. I get done at 6:06pm now late for my event. And to top it off...my hair fell by 6:30pm. I went for a blowout because I wanted my hair to look better than what I do myself. The stylist used almost no product (hair spray at the end). I dont know if thats why my hair didnt hold. It was also a pretty simple style I could have done myself in less time. The staff was very friendly and I know they probably didnt mean to make a mess of my night. I just wouldnt recommend this place because of their poor time management and poor quality. My advice, dont trust them for you big event. Youll end up late and paying for something you could have done yourself.

I cannot recommend Gallipott enough for wedding hair and makeup. Nikki, Nicki, Katie, and Heidi KILLED IT. We were a same-sex, 2 bride wedding with large wedding parties on both sides, so the hair and makeup coordination could have gotten quite complicated, but with the help of Sarah, their receptionists awesome coordination skills, our stylists seamlessly converted both of our hotel rooms into mini-salons, complete with a ring light! My hair looked exactly like the Pinterest photo that I showed to Nikki, my stylist, and it involved a complex crown/dutch braid that I was previously quite worried about. She reassured me, took notes at my trial, and completely nailed it the day of. My wife looked stunning (obviously!) and it was apparent that her makeup artist, Katie, has an eye for detail when I saw the glam look my wife was going for perfectly executed. The other girls also did an amazing job-- our bridesmaids hair and makeup accentuated their features in all of the best ways and they looked elegant and polished. Not only this, the coordination when it came to pricing, payment, etc, was flawless. I was relieved when I found that each member of our wedding party would be able to pay beforehand over the phone to eliminate chaos the day of. Not only this, the products this salon uses are all in-house, and all natural so not only did we look amazing, but we smelled heavenly instead of like a chemical sh*tstorm. :) 10/10 would recommend!

Annaliese is very sweet and very professional. I will only be getting my hair cut and my kids hair cut done here.

Hi,I dont normally write reviews but I was quite impressed with this Salon and would recommend Taylor to anyone reading this review. Everyone at the salon was very friendly and they were very understanding with me changing my appointment around three times, and once I finally was there Taylor did a great job on my haircut and highlights. He even came back in did the haircut on Friday, which was a day off for him, so that my hair could be done for my family photos. He didnt rush which I think someone could be tempted to do on their day off. The highlights are well blended and natural looking and I am very pleased with the haircut too. The complimentary drinks, including wine, is also a great touch with this place. Thanks!

Ive been going to Devin at Gallipott since they opened and she is the best hair stylist I have ever had. My hair is longer, thicker, healthier, and stronger now than it has ever been. The facilities are beautiful and luxurious feeling and the free wine/beer make the time pass quickly. Love this place.

$32 for a kids cut, and we were literally in and out in 30 minutes. If I hadnt asked when I set the appt how much I could expect to pay, I would consider this my fault. But, I did ask, and was told Uh, $25, I think. by the receptionist. If it varies by stylist, then I would expect the person at the front desk to know this information. The stylist didnt dry or curl her hair, did wash it. I did like the salon environment, and the stylist.UPDATE: The manager reached out to me from my review they send to each new client via email (which was similar to above) and they have given me a credit to use, so that I come back. I appreciate that they at least care if someone has a less than satisfied experience. We will try it again, as my daughter did really like the salon and the stylist.

Showed a picture of haircut I wanted and got a completely different hair cut. Looks okay but not what I asked for. And a day later noticed a patch of long hair on the back that wasnt cut to the same length as the rest. Had to get out my own clippers to fix it.

I absolutely love this salon! I saw Meghan for a haircut. I went in with a photo of what I was wanting for my hair, and I walked out looking exactly like the picture (that never happens)! Finally finally! I found a spot where a guy who appreciates a good quality cut and has a mountain man beard that receives detailed attention. I recommend Devon to any guy with a beard, absolutely the best beard trim and cut Ive had in 8 years in FoCo. Oh and they have beer!

I have seen Katy at Gallipott in Fort Collins twice now, and have never been so happy with my haircuts. She is absolutely amazing and I am so grateful to have found her! This lady really doesnt miss a strand, she does great work and really listens to what you want/what your concerns are. The salon is set up well and doesnt make you feel like youre on display. I bought some leave-in conditioner that I now swear by and love. 10 stars for this place!! Thank you!!

Started coming here 2 months ago, have had my hair cut here and colored. FANTASTIC. My cut was simple but exactly what I wanted, and when I came back a month later Shelby worked with me to get the exact color I wanted. The color room is amazing, nice relaxing view over the Mason Trail, and beverages are included (coffee too, which is much appreciated for an early-morning appointment!!) Honestly a little disappointed I didnt find this place earlier than this year. After 5 years of living in FoCo and 5 more of a steady hair place in Denver, I feel much more at home at Gallipot than other salons!

Keep coming back as they do a great job with hair and styling! Having some wine, tea, or beer as you wait is a huge plus!

I went to the gallipot after reading great reviews, and I had major regrets.I went in for a balayage ombré retouch and lighten.I thought that it would be $70-$80 at the most for a retouch and lighten seeing that online says $42+ for retouch and a glaze is $30+. I ended up paying $110 before tip and which would be okay or acceptable if they had done a good job but the fact that they did not even touch my roots defeats the purpose of coming in for a retouch.The final straw was when they let me leave the salon with my hair wet because they wanted to charge me another $15 for a blow dry. What professional salon leaves your hair wet so that you would not even get to see the final product. The stylist just told me it will look lighter when it dries.I would not recommend the gallipot.

I just adore this salon. I recently moved to Fort Collins, and have been searching for a new permanent stylist for quite some time. I am very picky about my hair in terms of both color and cut, but I heard great reviews of Gallipot so decided to check it out. First off, the place is awesome. Very modern, very clean, very inspiring. The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. They offer you beverages, which include beer and wine! So cool. Then when your getting color in, you get to sit at the top level and look out this giant garage window that opens up to show you amazing views and nice breezes. Also, while your sitting you can read from a variety of magazines, not the typical gossip junk or regular hair style magazines, which is a nice change. When your stylist takes to back to wash your hair, it is a darker room with twinkling lights on the ceiling that resemble stars, which is so nice while your getting your hair washed and a little massage to be looking at that twinkling ceiling. My stylist was Kaylie, and she is just absolutely adorable and so sweet. She gave me EXACTLY what I was looking for, and she is just so much fun to talk to. I highly recommend seeing her. Their prices are VERY fair compared to other salons out there. So that is that, good beverages, good people, good atmosphere and music, good prices. I love this place and will definitely be coming back to see Kaylie! Thank you love

McKenna cut my 5 year olds hair and did an amazing job! Now she is cutting both my sons hair and my husbands! My husband has never been so thrilled with his haircut. He has been wanting something new and fresh for a while and the first time he saw McKenna she blew him away with the style. She has a great personality, is awesome with kids and does it all with a smile :)
