I liked Dr Loury,, team, and audiologist. Dr. Loury ordered some test. The test were completed almost a month ago and there has not been any follow up from Dr. Lourys office. Another one of my doctors explained the results to me. I am very disappointed with lack of follow up, thus my 3 star rating.

My medical concerns were dismissed by Dr. Lourys PA. While Dr. Loury may be different, I expect the same level of care with his entire team. With a cancer diagnosis, I came to the office to discuss surgical options. When discussing my symptoms I was told that I had silent acid reflux, when I really had cancer. While a misdiagnosis happens, I would have been more understanding if my other concerns werent also dismissed. Perhaps a correct diagnosis would have occurred if they werent rushing through the appointment. I had questions about the surgical procedure and his response was to not worry and did not address my common question. On top of that, I left messages on the office voicemail that was somehow missed. Scheduling was a complete nightmare. I would never recommend this office to any of my friends or family.

I’ve had such a difficult time finding good doctors in the area. It seems like most of them just care about scheduling appointments and ordering the most expensive tests. I was referred to Dr. Loury by a neurologist and couldn’t be more happy. They initially asked for him to do a scope, but he could see that I have dry air rhinitis. He said a little sesame oil and some essential oils at night will help. He even gave me advice to start eating breakfast to help with my GERD, a problem that I’ve actually been intermittently fasting for! He didn’t do the scope because he said it was a waste of my money and he was able to see everything he needed to just by looking. He made me feel comfortable and wasn’t just looking to make a quick buck. Thank you, Dr. Loury!

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Reed Soukup to revisit a chronicear fullness condition that I have been dealing with for many years. He listened patiently as I described what I was experiencing, what other physicians had diagnosed and treatment I had received. After an examination, I was delighted to to find out that there was a new prescription available for me to try. It was great leaving there knowing my condition could improve and that Dr. Soukup was aware of the latestadvancements for treating ear fullness.

I was so very disappointed in the care my son son and I recieved in this office. Dr. Reed spent less than 5 minutes in diagnosing my son and promptly prescribed him 2 prescriptions, one of which he had a horrible reaction to. He clearly has no concern for my son or his well being as he has not found it worthy of his time to contact me about said reaction or other courses of action. I have canceled all further appointments and would highly recommend you seek help elsewhere concerning any of you child’s ENT issues. This particular establishment clearly has no care or concern for its patients. Sad but true.

I was planning on seeking the help of this “Top 20 ENT doctor” until I read his response to a patient that his staff had confused with another patient. The original infraction may have been minute (confusing patients with similar names), however, belittling a patient and “standing by” your staff all while you promote your own worthiness is a MAJOR no-no. A simple apology to someone who’s been with you many many years seems a much more fitting response. Even if the patient may have been at fault somewhere. Makes future patients like myself (well not anymore) see you and your office as bullies. 3/4 of your response was bombastic self-promotion. Like great, good for you... but you still made 1 person feel like garbage. And that 1 person matters. Even if you’re the best ENT in the world.. SMH. Disgusting response.

Mark Loury is a wonderful doctor. Very observant and considerate. Reed, the physicians assistant, is also very helpful and thoughtful. I only wish it were easier to get an appointment, but Im not surprised theyre very booked. They do a great job and I trust them. The office staff has always been very helpful and competent too. Wish more doctors were like Dr. Loury

Dr. Loury was spot on for me. He gave me alternatives before surgery and then I decided to have surgery. Recovery was easy and I am daily amazed at how good I feel. It was totally the right decision for me. He has great bedside manner, skills as a surgeon and the price was right. Always on time, easy to make appointments. HIGHLY recommend!

Was really excited to possibly be working here! I interviewed, called back to do a job shadow! It seemed like something was strange or off when I had gotten there to shadow to begin with, but I was already there! Went in, shadowed for 30 minutes(was planned to be there til 5 to speak to Dr. Loury) Went in at 3:30, and all the sudden I was asked to come back at 5 to speak to Dr. Loury after his patients! I live Loveland, had no where to go but a park for an hour or shop close by) I had a call from a staff member within 20 minutes of my leaving their office and she said they decided to do something internally for this position and would keep my resume on file and that I was a terrific candidate! I was supposed to of been back there in 30 minutes! They should of called me before I even went in at all and not wasted my time and theirs! I was super disappointed! I was so excited and always heard great things of this office! But it left me with not a good vision of this office! So unprofessional and very disheartening!😧

UPDATE: the PA at this location called me back before I left this review and apologized tremendously for the lack of response. It seems it was a misunderstanding on who had or had not contacted me previously. He was so sincere about it and understood if I had waited too long and was being seen at another office. I chose to give them another try and i am so happy i did. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and the pre-op, surgery and post-op appointments went so well. I am so happy and pleased with how things worked out.I truly believe it was just an error the lack of communication and I fell through the cracks-which I don’t believe would happen here normally. The way the office handled communication and treated me with respect after the first experience I had was truly appreciated. You don’t get the sincerity sometimes from doctors offices-but i did here.I’m leaving original post so people understand why I’m writing a glowing recommendation of this office.i will 100% go back if I ever need a specialist again in the future!OLD post: Please please don’t go here. Over 3 weeks ago I went in to see about a lump on my face. Had dentist send X-ray to a Gmail account (really—no company email??) and no one got back to me. I had to call 2 weeks later and say “what’s going on”. Only good thing about this place is Norma who profusely apologized for the lack of response.I don’t trust someone to give medical advice when they can’t follow up with patient. How invested are they really to give the best care instead of just doing what they can to move on to the next patient. I even said if they are too busy for new patients-just let me know and I’ll go elsewhere.

Mark is horrible--avoid him at all costs!! Refuse to call him Dr., not worthy of the title. Dismissed me from his practice late last year (pt. of 10 years w/out any problems) just because an issue with rude staff and writing a negative review. He arrogantly said in his letter Thank you for blessing me (biblical reference to heavenly rewards due to negative comments). Three docs looked at my review and his letter, called him bombastic and arrogant, one saying hes the type of Christian who cause people to not want anything to do with Christians! Today actually received a voice mail for a never-scheduled appt. this coming Monday with his Audiologist, Dr. P! Assuming its because they have 2 pts. in their system with my name--what started this in the first place--his staff dont bother to check birthdates on the phone, so the girl kept insisting (last year) Id never seen Dr. P., when Id been seeing her since 2017! Had told him this at fall appt. with him but he laughed it off. Later posted the negative review on Google. Not calling to tell them of the VM today--their problem of incompetence, not mine! Be informed; read my prior Google reviews (MVS). Id already easily found another great ENT when his letter came so no sweat to me anyway. Good riddance Mark!

So I went here a few days after experiencing hearing loss, even took some tests and no one knew what was going on and told me that I should probably be okay and to wait. A few weeks later I went to a different audiologist who told me that I have something called SSHL and had I been in within two weeks of the onset they could have given me steroids which would have given me a 70% chance of all hearing back but that now it was too late to do anything. Now Im stuck with hearing loss all because I went to the wrong audiologist. If you have sudden hearing loss, dont make my mistake.Edit to reply: yes I took the medication prescribed, and I went for a second checkup where I was told by the doctor who tested my hearing shes never seen this before and that Id get a call and that someone else would look at the results, but I never got a call or heard anything back.

I had been having throat problems for several months and got referred to Dr. Loury. Not only was he punctual for my appointment time, but he took the time to sit down and listen to my problems and concerns. He was very thorough in his assessment, and checked my background as well. He took the time to explain his diagnosis and made sure to ask if I had any questions. I will be using him for my son’s checkup and would refer them to anyone looking for a top-notch doctor.

UPDATE: Dr. Loury, I appreciate that you read my review & have no doubt you are in the top 20 doctors. In response to your staff trying to apologize for pulling up the wrong patient, this is not something she ever did while on the phone. What she heard from me was continued insistence that I, to the best of my memory, had only seen Dr. Phillips, not the other audiologist. As I wracked my brain trying to remember if Id ever seen the other audiologist, I finally said maybe I saw her once, just trying to acknowledge maybe Id forgotten something, though I really thought Id only seen Dr. Phillips. Yet, she continued to insist I was wrong, which was bewildering. I did not think I was rude to her unless she found my insistence on who I had seen to be rude. She was completely unwilling to listen to me, never apologized or gave any hint of tears, then just hung up, so I could only assume she simply didnt want to accept what I was saying. This is why I called back and asked for a spvr, as I was stunned at this first from your office & can only go on this atypical interaction that day. As a long-term patient, this was a one-time issue as all past interactions had been very pleasant. Your response to me went on & on bragging about yourself & your staff, completely undermining & de-valuing me as a patient. You call yourself a Christian, but saying youll send me a report backing up your claims is arrogant & insulting. Pride goeth before a fall & Actions Speak Louder than Words, yet your prideful response disregarding me was as unbelievable as my interaction with your staff member. Im very sad that you chose to not even talk with me about this & have revised my reply to you after time to think about your response. What I put in my original review stands & is exactly how I was treated. Had your staff apologized, I’d have accepted it on the spot! She did not, nor were there tears. Effie, the spvr, was the one who told me she pulled me up in the system and found two patients w/the same name, clearing up what happened. She said sometimes the front staff is too busy to check bdays, no apology, though had your staff done this instead of continued insistence I was wrong, all this could have been avoided. Im saddened at your response & lack of consideration for my feelings or loyalty to you as a long-term patient. I further assume Im no longer welcome in your office.--OLD POST: Was extremely satisfied w/Dr. Loury for many years; best of the best. Gina up front is also terrific, the way all the others used to be. Now, most of rest of front staff/MAs make me want to go elsewhere. Recently tried to get appt. w/Dr. Phillips, who Ive always seen for Audio. Person insisted Id never seen her, only the other Audio, who Id never seen. Was very rude about it, then refused to give me her name and hung up on me. Called back for spvr. (bill/ins person), who actually defended her, saying when they get busy they dont have time to check bdays, and they have 2 people w/my name--which I had no way of knowing, and the staff person had not asked my bday. Dr. Loury ordered brain scan after Audio testing, and since Ive developed bronchitis, I called today for his MA, not sure what to do since am afraid I may not be able to be completely still. She was so rude, could have cared less. Did get appt. w/my regular Dr., but my history when I get bronchitis is it lasts several months. The MA wanted to know if I wanted to wait til then when the cough is gone--for a brain scan that already has me scared--are you for real??? Even this most recent visit to Dr. Phillips after testing, she adjusted my hearing aids, but wasnt her usual very pleasant self, and now though I have severe echo when wearing them, am afraid to return for adjustments. May go elsewhere in future due to front staff even though Dr. Loury himself is the best. His front staff used to be top notch also, but personnel changes seem to have affected that badly--of course, some exceptions, as mentioned, Gina is terrific, and Im sure others I dont know of or interact with are as well.

Dr. Loury is excellent in his field. Ive been seeing audiologists and ENT specialists for over fifty years, and this clinic is simply top notch. Their care is spot on. Their diagnoses are quick and accurate, and their treatment is effective. Dr. Loury diagnosed a paratonsillar abscess that two other physicians missed...his treatment brought immediate relief! He shares his practice with two accomplished audiologists. They all work to stay current in new technology in their fields, attending workshops out of town regularly to be informed and educated. Im most thankful for their care and the ability I now have to hear better with my cochlear implant specifically because of Dr. Phillips recommendation to get the implant. Best care anywhere!

So our initial experience was good when our 2 year old son need ear tube surgery, but things got a lot worst when it came to follow up care. 2 years later our son had been complaining of ear pain and scratching at his ears for weeks. We called Dr. Lourys office and expressed our concerns and need to get our son seen as soon as possible. The receptionist was rude but we got an appointment to see the PA. She said everything was fine and the tubes would fall out naturally. After another week of my son itching his ears and struggling with hearing sometimes, we called a different ENT who expressed sympathy and got us an appointment within a week. Well, the ear tubes were compacted/stuck in his ears causing him a lot of pain and causing ear wax to build up and affect his hearing. The new ENT fixed everything and relieved our little boys discomfort. Again, Dr. Loury did a good job with his initial surgery but the aftercare needs improvement.

Ok the minute I walked into this place it felt weird. Heard people talking loud about someones medical issue.. strange..HIPPA law..??? The office really tight and small. Receptionist was blunt annoying and very unprofessional. They had no access to any of my records...so got tons of papers to fill out..then saw a nurse?..who didnt take any vitals and said oh..we cant get any of your records sorry then walked out. Then the doctor came in... unprofessional..read some of my chart and said never heard of that drug before🤔bc I spelled it wrong. Said some very strange things.I thought I was being punked...waiting for Ashton kutchner to show up...lol.it was a joke really..I havent gotten the bill yet but I shouldnt be charged. Brought up things and when I asked about them...it was oh no thats not it. Then why did you say it. To think that these kind of people are doctors is scary and disturbing to me. They should pay me for wasting my time. They never offered to get my scans..its my problem. Went to a different Dr. And told them what they said..they were shocked. Stay away from this place...very far away. I didnt name the Dr..should I???😬 I left feeling worse...I was looking for Ashton but he never showed up...so this was real. Horrible experience.🤔🙄😡 Stay away. I am sure the bill will be big...for doing nothing..I may fight it. I am still shocked over this place. Anyway..I will move on but will put in a complaint about it. Always get 3 opinions..bc if I did what they said..I would be filing a lawsuit. Very disturbing to me. Was also told they didnt have the time to do something. I could go on and on...just please..be careful

I have been a patient of Dr. Lourys for about 15 years. When I lost my health insurance in 2012, and even though I was self pay for a time, I noticed a marked negative difference in the way I was treated, primarily by the office staff / gate keepers. Then I ended up with Medicaid, and again I felt treated differently than when I had real insurance. My medical problems were not aggressively treated, and I felt like I should be grateful they let me through the door. Now it seems they are dumping, or trying to dump their Medicaid patients. I had one office staff say they took Medicaid patients with certain stipulations, then another who made up some story about how they just couldnt get re certified, or gee, of course they would take Medicaid patients. The whole attitude, after so many years entrusting my health to them seems just...gee, you arent lucrative enough to treat. Perhaps if the Doctors fired a few office staff they could better afford to treat their patients.

I had Dr. Loury do a sinus surgery for me about 18 months ago. Worst mistake ever. If I could, Id give a negative star rating.During my follow up appointments as I asked questions regarding the healing because my nose was so swollen, I kept being told Wait for a year for the healing to be done because I was self conscious about my nose to start and he had made it even bigger by the graft he did.On top of that I had a hole in my septum from previous surgery and having frequent bloody noses from the deviated septum, instead of repairing it like I had asked he made the hole huge and just removed most of the septum. So now the bridge of my nose is collapsing and I have separation between the nasal bone and cartilage. It looks awful and makes it hard to breathe.I still continue to have sinus issues and cant blow my nose properly and the sinuses do not drain as they should. If I could hire an attorney to file medical malpractice against Dr Loury for what he has done to my nose and sinuses I would in a heart beat.

I called Dr. Lourys office over a week ago because my primary doctor recommended him for the treatment of my tinnitus. His assistant, Melanie said I needed to provide the written recommendation. I snapped a photo and emailed it. No response. I called later that day and another in Lourys office, Amber, said the picture did not include all the necessary information. I immediately snapped another two photos of the entire recommendation and emailed them right away. Again, no response. I called 4 days later and Amber said it was unclear whether my insurance provider listed Loury as in-network. I immediately called my provider, Aetna, and was told that Dr. Loury was definitely in-network. I then emailed Melanie and Amber and said all is ok and that I should be covered in their practice. For a third time, NO RESPONSE!! I called two days later and Melanie said Dr. Loury would call me that day. That was two days ago and still no call back. Not even an email response...EVER!! These people are clowns. So disappointed and now looking for a different Audiologist here in Fort Collins, Colorado. What a waste of time.

I have been dealing with intense burning, shooting ear pain for over 3 years. I had 2 different ENTs tell me it was TMJ before even looking inside my ear, so I went to 3 different Dentists, one that specialized in TMJ and all 3 confirmed that I did NOT have TMJ (which I didnt think I had either). From the moment I made the appointment, to the lengthy- detailed examination that Dr. Loury performed, I knew I was at the right place. He was honest, caring and compassionate. He actually listened, took notes and we are now working on a long term healthcare plan that includes for the first time in years, a pain free day!!!! Not only did he call me in the evening to check on me, he even took the time to return a call while on vacation. And his staff, WOW!! The best Dr. office experience Ive had in years. My last ear surgery was 2004. Prior to that I had been to Dr. Loury 9 times for my left ear - pressure, surround sound inside my head, hear heart beating in my head, etc. He inserted implant after implant, none of which worked. After my 9th procedure/plan, he said, I cant do any more for you, and sent me on my way - still with all the symptoms I went to him for in the first place. I was finally referred to Dr. Robert Muckle in Denver. It took him 2 major surgeries to overcome what Loury had done to me. Dr. Muckle literally saved my life. Dr. Loury just turned his back on me.

The initial appt was fine I guess but everything following has been a total headache. I was told my son needed tubes. I called to schedule the surgery in January. The calendars werent open in January despite mostly being booked through December which seems odd. No time frame when the calendars will open for that. The surgery coordinator is leaving the office with no replacement. No idea when I could expect to hear from anyone and basically told to just keep calling until someone can help me. I emailed their office from the email on their website requesting my sons records and never heard back. Then, when I called, I was told no one even has access to that email. Im getting those records and going to another provider, despite this prolonging the surgery my son needs. Im SO relieved I didnt get the surgery done through them or ever go back. It was a complete mess while already dealing with a difficult situation.
