The whole entire staff was very friendly and welcoming so it made my first visit so much more relaxed! Dr. Cherry had great manners and kept me very informed. 10/10 visit.

I had a dental emergency while traveling and phoned Florence Dental Arts. The staff was gracious enough to fit me in that day. Dr. Cherry did a fantastic job. He explained everything he was doing and the price was very fair. I highly recommend his office.

I chipped my front teeth and was panicked! I found Florence dental arts and gave them a call. Very prompt. Very empathetic to my needs! The young woman at the desk was so helpful with getting my insurance information and setting an immediate appointment! I went in at 8 am as scheduled and met dr cherry. Very professional very courteous. He checked my teeth and gave me all the options. I was going to schedule an appointment and the lady told me someone just canceled so I want to be seen now!? Yes yes and yes! The whole procedure took 30 minutes and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I will not ever go to anyone else. Thank you all

I had a badly infected tooth and no insurance right in the middle of this corona pandemic. I had not seen a dentist in over 15years from fear of them. Dr. Cherry saw me right away and even gave me a discount due to having to pay out of pocket. By the end of my first visit with him, he had put my mind at ease. He did not make me feel embarrassed about the condition of my teeth and he let me know up front exactly what my options were and what to expect. He is awesome. The procedure itself could not have gone smoother and he was so skilled and gentle that I felt virtually no discomfort through the shots and all. He was very thorough and took the time to ask how I was doing every step of the way. I cant say enough about how wonderful he is and I promise if he was not, Id be the first to let everyone know. I highly recommend him to all my friends and family and I plan to be a loyal patient until I leave this world.

I drive from Myrtle Beach to see Dr. Cherry and his wonderful staff. I work in Florence before Covid and will remain a patient until he retires. They are very compasdiate and caring. They give you up front pricing and explain everything while they are working on your teeth. Great Dentist and Staff.

If I could give this place no stars I would this place is highly unorganized with scheduling patients and how long that patient needs procedure wise... Twice Ive been there for them to tell me ooopppsss I need more time with the patient before you so I cant see you today so you would think he would fit me in asap but no it took weeks to get an appt then my tooth fell out so I needed a emergency appt and guess what they cant see me for 3 weeks there website says they have emergency assistance available which clearly they do not... At my first visit I was so confident this was gonna be my dentist for the work I need done and Im highly disappointed ...if youre new or trying to become a new patient here dont waste your time !!!!

Such a kind and understanding dentist!!! Explained exactly what I needed, informed me of the pros and cons which allowed me to make an educated decision. I have never found a dentist that I could trust as much as Dr. Cherry. Florence Dental Arts has earned a lifelong customer.

Very professional and friendly staff, took my kids for their first dental visit and the experience from reception desk to hygenist to doctor was seamless. Even my younger daughter who was very nervous came out smiling like a champ at the end of the session. Dr. Cherry was very thorough and explained everything in detail and gave us options. Overall a very great experience and Florence Dental Arts will be our dentist of choice.

I have a hard time connecting with dentists, and I had tried a couple dentistries in Florence I did not click with. That being said, I had such a good visit with Dr Cherrie that I actually look forward to returning! This was also the most effortless and easy numbing and procedure Ive ever experienced.Im very grateful they saw me during the pandemic and I can tell the current state of the world has not had any effect on their bedside manners. Today was my first visit to Dr. Cherry at Florence Dental Arts. I have a broken tooth which I put off getting treatment for due to anxiety over treatment. After meeting Dr. Cherry, his Hygienist and receptionist, I wish I had gone earlier just because they made it so easy. First of all, the atmosphere itself is very relaxing, from the waiting room to the treatment room. Dr. Cherry and his staff made sure from the outset that I was put at ease, of major importance to me. He did a thorough exam of my issue and provided me with the options available. He went into detail and answered all my questions. He Listened! Dr. Cherry is very knowledgeable not only with the dental aspects but also the medical aspects including medication which I take. This is a big plus for me. He understood my anxiety issues and explained the options available to put me at ease at the time of the procedure. I cannot stress enough how impressed I am that he took the time to read through my medical history and medications before coming into the treatment room to perform the exam. He was ready to address all issues, dental and medical. I am confident going foward and getting the procedure done because I know I will be made as comfortable as possible while my tooth is being repaired. And I know the people working on my teeth really do care.

I am new to the Florence area and needed a dentist. Not a big fan of them due to childhood experience and low pain tolerance. Really happy with my experience at Florence Dental Arts with the staff and Dr. Cherry. My issue was addressed quickly and explained so I understood what was going on. For as long as I am in Florence, Florence Dental Arts is the one I will go to for all my dental needs.

Very friendly staff! Dr. Cherry was super nice and easy to talk too. A woman named Amanda was the one that took care of me most of the time and did my cleaning and X-Rays and she was perfect! Super nice and gentle during the cleanings. Would highly recommend.

They spent a lot of time explaining what procedures i need. They also gave me a break down of the expenses, my favorite part! Its not easy to find a good dentist. No wait, took back on time for appointment. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Through out the appointment they asked if I had any question. We went over all the dental work that needed to be completed and the cost of the work and what the insurance would pay. Very thorough would highly recommend !

I was searching to make a change and wanted a dentist that did not try to push a “records appointment” on me! Really?? $250 to tell me what I need in order to have a beauty queen smile!!! Lol!! Plus the $250 does not go toward any work!! Since when did that become extra?? I was thinking that’s a dentists job.Dr Cherry was highly recommended by a retired dentist that couldn’t say enough great things about him and his staff! Needless to say I am now a patient of Dr Cherry’s. I have never felt more comfortable! And I trust him completely. He is relaxed and very thorough and gentle. He has just finished some cosmetic work for me and I am completely satisfied and happy with his expertise and my new bright smile. The girls up there are so sweet, kind and so very helpful. Im happy to be able to find them as dentist for my husband at the time of his need. Was able to get him an appointment made by phone from Florida. The receptionist that I had the pleasure to talk with on the phone was very friendly, helpful, and understanding.

Had a great experience. Was greeted nicely by the receptionist. She was very friendly and warming. I was a new patient and it was only about 15 to 20 minutes between filling out new patient forms and going back for x-rays. Heather was very kind. She talked me through what she was going to do before she did my cleaning. Dr. Covington then came in later to talk with me. She was very kind and friendly also. The staff overall was very comforting, caring, and friendly. They cared genuinely about my needs. My stay at the dentist office was only about an hour and a half or so. I will definitely return again.

My entire family are patients with Dr Cherry - myself, husband, and our three children, ages 14, 12, and 7. We’ve never had an unpleasant experience. Dr Cherry and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The office environment is pleasant and up-to-date. Dr Cherry, our hygienist Amanda, and Dr Cherry’s dental assistant Traci (yes, unfortunately we’ve had a few cavities in the family and I had a cracked tooth and had to get a crown) all take the time to explain procedures and dental issues and dental “things” in a way that we can understand and in a way that doesn’t feel rushed. Plus they always greet you with a smile and know you by name. Highly recommend!

I went to Florence Dental Arts for the first time last week and i could not have had a better dental experience considering how much of a dread going to the dentist usually is. Dr. Cherry and staff were so friendly, thourough, and knowledgeable. The experience could not be better when going to the dentist. I will be going back and would recommend them to your friends and family.

I have not been to the dentist in a while and to be honest was nervous, the staff and Dr. Cherry did not make me feel ashamed nor did they make me feel embarrassed. The employees made me feel at home like part of their family. I have not been going there very long and they already know my name. Even I cannot give her one star!!My husband went there for cleaning. It was nice until there. Then she suggested him to do filling to prevent doing root canal later. He didnt have any plan but did it as she suggested. After that he got severe pain about one week, he couldnt sleep without pill.So he went back to check up once she opened on Monday. ( She is closing from Friday to Sunday ) He went there to see dentist BUT she didnt show up and just told receptionist to give him referral to go to other dentist. How nice care of her patient!!! A patient came back with severe pain after her treatment then how she even doesnt see and check what is wrong! If she is confident about what she is doing, she should see her patient and explain about it. She may not be sure what she did, so she didnt want to talk to patient in person. Or patient is just money to her so she doesnt care after she get paid!??? Anyway it was sooooo bad experience and she is not a good doctor as her work and as a person!We paid money for filling and what we got was pain! And we should pay more money to check what is wrong with his tooth!!!One more story.My husband was just waiting there quietly to see dentist over hour because he cannot live like this! At least he need some explanation from dentist! And we dont want to pay more money to do examination without any our fault! But she just called her husband and send him to my husband. He is a lawyer or dentist? Neither! Anyway he came and start to have a conversation with my husband out of the office not to interrupt business. And her husband agreed with us a lot and tried to make us understand and be a middle person between dentist and us. We told him after long conversation OK then we go to other doctor to check what is wrong and if other doctor says my husband need root canal, then you should pay back us filling charge and new examination fee. Because she didnt diagnose correctly! My husband need root canal but not filling! But she did filling and the result is a pain, spending money plus wasting of time!After he talked to his wife he cannot pay back filling cost and examination even though we need root canal, because dentist says she didnt make a mistake. She is 100% sure. She forgot that she is a human being who can make a mistake. Not a God! From this part, after he talked to his wife, her husband doesnt want to talk to us anymore and called to police and kicked us out! Look at this! They are thinking only money!! If she is really sure that she didnt make a mistake and she is sure about what she is doing why she cannot say yes to pay it !!! Starting talking about money then calling police!!Her husband was quite nice. Trying to talk to us and explain and understand us and help us. But once he talked to his wife dentist he suddenly changed his face! Money involved! Maybe dentist said just call police. You dont need to care of them.!My guessing but what I felt through whole conversation!They dont care patients but want money from them. If everything went through OK then this place is fine maybe... But dont expect to get sevices if something goes wrong. They called police on me. For the first time in my life. What a day! :(
