The Pee Dee Dental Group, Dr.Connor and his caring staff are highly professional. I am a big wuz but they always make me feel safe and comfortable.Covid had me scared and I restricted my travel and had put off Medical and Dental visits but Pee Dee Dentistry didnt miss a beat and my treatments were rescheduled.I highly recommend care from this group of wonderful people.

DO NOT go here!!!! This man is JUST after your money! I came here for a minor toothache when I ate & was told Id need two root canals. I took pictures of the x-rays they took of the tooth that was bothering me & sent them to my dentist of 15 years in NC. He said there was NO reason for me to need a root canal.. not at all. BE WARE!

The Dentist Charles is not only very knowledgeable,he is very thorough and great to talk too. His work is impeccable,he explains everything and he is trustworthy. The Dental Assistants are so funny and fun to be around. They also do a fantastic job at cleaning your teeth and are a pleasure to talk too. The woman at the front desk is also always nice and greets you with a smile when you walk in. Overall this place is a 10, my family and I will only come to this Dentistry. Come once and youll see what Im talking about.......Thanks again for all there Excellent work!!!

He is one of the rudest health professionals I’ve ever dealt with. I went to him for years before I could ever change.He talked down to me, made me calculate how much his time was worth.He even forgot to sign the prescription for my pain meds and I live over an hour away.He isn’t professional and will talk to kids any kind of way. As an African American if you want to have your kid go to see someone who looks like them, don’t Take them there ever!

I was supposed to get bonding done with my four front teeth plus one of my teeth had became sensitive. Upon arriving I had my ex- rays done. I saw my X-rays and was told the reason why my teeth are uneven is because there is a spit in my bone between the two front ones. I was asked did I have a fall as a child ? And normally, this is what caused the split. Dr. Conner told me he doesn’t like filling down healthy teeth.So we should go with bonding. We then moved on to the kind of bonding materials. I chose the composite filling. On my first day without doing any work I paid a total of $504. I came in on Thursday to get the work done. Immediately, I didn’t like my teeth. They were too big. I immediately told the dentist and his assistant I didn’t like them. My exact words were they are too big!!! A red and black marker was placed in hand. I was to mark the spots I didn’t like. We filed one of my teeth down which made it a bit better. But still the two front teeth were uneven.I still complained they were too big. I was told, “The shape of my teeth has a lot to do with the size of my face. I have a big face which means I have big square teeth.” But still they weren’t leveled out as I was promised. The assistant told me even her teeth are uneven. She held up her top lip to show me her two front teeth. I still wasn’t satisfied when I left. The time came for payment. I paid 100 dollars more on the bill. Which now brings my total to $604 dollars out of the $1088 dollars I was supposed to pay. I had $428 left on the bill. I was denied a payment plan. But I told them I could run home and get the cash and bring it back. It was 4:46. My commute was a total of 25 minutes.They closed at 5pm and wasn’t open on Fridays. I offered to leave the receptionist valuable possessions to make sure I bring them back the money. She told me to get a money order and drop it in the side mailbox. She also told me she had a copy of my bank card number. So she could run it as well. I explained to her my bank is Bank of America and there aren’t any Banks of America’s left in Florence. I left the dentist office that day. So now we fast forward to the evening. I went home. I was told I shouldn’t eat anything from 6-8 hours by the dentist. I slept all day because my gums and top lip was numb. After everything had worn off I ate a piece of bread to make sure things were safe. As soon as I started to chew my bottom teeth kept hitting behind my two front teeth. Then the composite broke off my corner teeth.I called immediately and I left a voice message. Monday came, I received a phone call from the receptionist. She stated to come in at 3 pm today. I told her okay. She called me back and instructed me to come in at 2pm which I told her is okay. I get to the office and was asked to pay before I went into the back. I asked her could I pay afterwards because I wasn’t satisfied with the work done the first time.She told me the dentist refused to see me until after I payed off my bill. I told her it wasn’t fair to have payed so much money up front , not like the services and to be dismissed. It simply feels they are out to make a profit. I told them I didn’t like my teeth as soon as they were done. I was told me feeling the teeth were big is an illusion by the dentist. I told her I never said I wouldn’t pay. I payed upfront from the beginning. I didn’t being dismissed. I tried negotiating. I would pay upfront but I wanted them to sign a written agreement to protect myself and my money. Dr. Conner first stated, I never told him I didn’t like my teeth. It was the reason I was given the red and black pencil in the first place. He refused to sign my letter of agreement to protect myself. So I left.

One of the best dentist offices I’ve ever been to. They are so nice, considerate of you and pain when doing dental work as well

My experience at Pee Dee Dental has been one of the best. They genuinely care about your teeth and providing the service that you need.Be mindful that anything worth having is worth paying for, so make the best investment in yourself.

My wife received a consultation and was very adamant about how much our insurance was going to cover and how much we would be responsible for. Her original quote was $450 after insurance. My wife was about to leave because that was too high to extract two teeth with good private insurance (Blue Cross Blue Shield). She was then asked how much could she pay and reluctantly she said the most she was willing to pay is $300 and Dr. Conner said that was fine. So she payed the money and received the procedure done. Now a month and a half later we received a bill for $825 after they filed my insurance and received $555 from them. This is called bait and switch and is illegal. It was already bad enough charging $450 to extract two teeth with insurance but my wife was trying to leave at $450 what made them think we were going to pay $1124 total with private insurance.

I have not been to a dentist in years but pee dee dental group was amazing. The staff was very pleasant and made my first visit amazing. I would recomment Dr. Connor to anyone.
