I should begin by stating that I have 6 years experience working as a dental assistant in general dentistry and orthodontics! If I had to choose one word to describe my dental implant experience with Dr. Gary Jones, the word would be INCREDIBLE! The office is immaculate and vibrant, with a most helpful front desk and office staff. Everyone is very friendly! The office environment is happy, inviting and comfortable. Dr. Jones is absolutely brilliant at what he does and is always attentive to my concerns and questions. He and his staff work quickly and efficiently during appointments and always make sure that I am comfortable. Dr. Jones did an extraction, bone graft and an immediate implant on my front tooth in one quick appointment and he did a seriously beautiful job. I experienced zero pain during the process, much to my surprise and delight! I am beyond pleased with my implant! My two toddlers sometimes tag along with me to appointments and are always welcomed by friendly staff members with conversation and little toys and treats. I just can’t say enough good things about this office! They are the best!!

I have been incredibly impressed with this office. The professionalism from check in to check out is elite. The consultation was efficient and Dr Jones is just as much a joy as he is thorough and confident in his recommendations. His nurses/assistants are wonderful. Facility is clean. Procedure day ran effortlessly despite how nervous I was. Coming from a medical facility myself, I would choose Sandhills again and I highly recommend!

I know that you usually do not look at a dental experience in a positive light but you will if you go to Sandhills. It’s was a spa-like experience with the relaxing atmosphere and a very friendly staff. If you have to have some serious dental work it helps to be put at ease and be in the care of these great doctors. I hope that I never need them again but if I do there is no doubt that I would go back to Sandhills.

It is hard to fit all the professional and successful experiences I have had at Sandhills Oral Surgery into a single review. High-level expertise and training is evident throughout this efficient organization and coupled with the enjoyable teamwork visible among all the staff makes one sure you have come to the right place. I had many complicated issues requiring IV sedation and the skilled, confident and integrated nursing experts, sedation experts and of course, my super-skilled surgeon Dr. Berridge walked me through each phase. The next thing I knew I was in the recovery room feeling great and all my problems are behind me ! I cannot say enough about all the incredible professionals in this office. I live about 2 hours away and Sandhills Oral came highly recommended and was well worth the travel - you simply cannot find this level of care, experience and true expertise around just any corner.

I never do reviews for anything, but I feel like this needs to be said. I had all four of my wisdom teeth extracted recently by Dr. Jones and his team. I had a tooth pulled today by Dr. Worley after a long painful 3 months with a failed root canal. Dr. Worley and his staff were absolutely amazing. They explained everything to me and answered all my question. The sedation process was easy and totally eased my anxiety. I can’t say enough nice things about this practice. Just over a year ago I began my implant journey with Dr Gary Jones and his wonderful staff. I had lost teeth as a child and had had a bridge for many years. The bridge finally failed. I had been told previously that my jaw bone would not support implants. Well it did need a little help, but I have been chewing on 2 fabulous implants for the past 7 months. I just had my one year follow up and they are prefect! I might just have to do this again😊😁

I chose Sandhills Oral Surgery after my mom had an implant last year with Dr. Jones. So glad that I decided to use them too!Dr. Lambert did my wisdom teeth surgery (4 teeth total, 2 impacted and 2 just being pulled). Best medical experience that I have ever had to endure! I have major medical anxiety and he made me feel as comfortable with the entire process as possible. I opted for general anesthesia which definitely helped as well. No after surgery complications, I was worried about the possibility of dry socket. He assured me that they use a process which greatly reduces that chance. After surgery pain was minimal and I was almost back to normal 3 days later. Minimal swelling and no bruising!The entire staff is professional and super friendly. (Shoutout to Amy and Chelsae!) If you are on the fence about whether to use them or not, choose Sandhills Oral! I’ll definitely be telling all my friends about how awesome they are.

If you can define dental procedures as great or wonderful that would describe my experience at Sandhills Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry. I was terrified when I walked into their office. My initial visit made me feel much better. Dr. Jones and his staff answered all my questions and shared information about the implant procedure. My implant was delayed due to COVID-19. Staff was quick to reschedule my appointment. On the day of my implant Dr Jones and his staff were excellent! They were reassuring and made me feel comfortable during the entire procedure! I left their office with clear postoperative information. I received a follow up phone call later in the afternoon. I return for my 2 week appointment tomorrow. Excellent care with great staff!!!

***NOT FRIENDLY TO DISABLED PATIENTS*** I have required the use of a service dog since 2018. I didnt bring him to my surgery appointment because service dogs are not allowed in sterile or surgical settings, however I needed an emergency follow up on 11/02/2020. Despite telling the practice owner that my dog is a service animal trained for specific tasks he refused to treat me unless my dog was in another room (out of my direct control, which is illegal under ADA law). I ultimately had to seek treatment with another dentists office. Dr. Jones acknowledged that if I was blind and my service animal was a guide dog he would treat me, but refused to treat me. When questioned about this by the NCDOJ, Dr. Jones lied and said that I told him my dog was an emotional support animal. All I asked for was an apology and acknowledgment that he was wrong. Dr. Jones may be a good surgeon but the man is morally bankrupt.

A great dental experience! I know that sounds like an oxymoron but I would truly recommend Sandhills Dentistry. I was in a lot of pain when I contacted Sandhills as I required no less then three extractions. They are pretty busy around there but managed to schedule both my initial visit and surgery right away. I chose to be sedated and this was definitely the right choice. In just a few minutes my teeth had been removed and I was waking up in recovery, given instructions for after care, a prescription for pain medication and on my way home to recuperate. I was impressed by Oral Surgery. I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr.Carey and staff. The layout of the building allows for a very personal feel, I never felt like I was on an assembly line. From the first visit to the follow up appointment I was given their undivided attention. They ensured all my questions were answered and I understood fully what was going to occur, what to expect and what may occur. They gave me all the resources necessary to contact them if needed. I wasnt surprised by any aspect of the experience. The staff was interactive and their joy of working with each other made even the extractions a pleasant experience. The cherry on top is the text message reminders for appointment times and interactive e-mails giving me the ability to make any changes necessary with ease. I have been extremely pleased with the OUTSTANDING experience’s I have had since I started using this practice (Sandhills Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery) years ago. The facility is always spotless (yes, including the bathrooms). All the personnel are always cheerful and very polite. All are extremely professional and knowledgeable. Staff and service outstanding. There is nothing I can recommend to improve the service I received. On one of my visit my great grand son was being delivered at CFV. Every visit after that they asked about my grandson. They all take a moment to listen to me talk about my grandbaby. I would highly recommend Dr Jones and his staff for any of your oral surgery needs. They truly make you feel comfortable and almost forget about the needle.

Could not be happier with the service and care from Dr. Carey and the team. Having my wisdom teeth removed was my first surgery and first time under general anesthesia. Dr. Carey and the staff made me feel comfortable and were very helpful and friendly throughout the process. I was even more impressed with the after care and follow up. Dr. Carey called my house phone and left a message and he couldve stopped there but he immediately called the secondary number just to reach out and see how I was doing. 10/10 for me, highly recommend them for wisdom teeth removal.

I had been to Sandhills before about 10 or 11 years ago when my teenage daughter needed her wisdom teeth removed and remembered the excellent service. This time was different as this was my first experience in getting a dental implant and the staff put my concerns and worries to ease right away. They took excellent care of me, made sure that I was in no pain whatsoever, answered all my questions and most importantly I felt that I was in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and his staff and will continue to come here for my future needs.

I would give 10 stars if I could! The Drs. and Staff here are truly incredible! I have been treated by both Dr. Jones and Dr. Carey along with their Staff and I just cant say enough about them. First, the Office itself is pleasing, comfortable, clean and accommodating. The front office staff is very considerate of your time and needs, not to mention super polite. As for the procedure itself, I have never felt more assured and comforted as I have by these folks. They make you aware of exactly what you will experience and then make sure you are very comfortable during it. A special Thanks to Chelsae and Faith for their help during my last visit, super people doing a super job! The evening follow-up call by Dr Carey was so appreciated! I was a patient at Sandhills Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery a few months ago. I had chosen to have an implant. Dr. Jones explained what this surgery would entail and throughout the whole procedure he explained every step he was performing. Everyone has been really nice and comforting the 3 times I have had procedures done at this office. They have made time to see me every time I had a concern or an issue. REMARKABLE SURGEON! Dr. Gary Jones is knowledgeable, personable, talented, and absolutely outstanding in every aspect of the business! I am one of the most nervous people you could ever meet around dentists. I have problems numbing and have had so many bad experiences at dentist offices. The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the nurses are top of the line. Dr. Jones went above and beyond to make me comfortable! I was so nervous about the IV sedation and the entire staff (well almost) came back and comforted me. To be honest, I didnt even feel the needle going into my arm. If I ever move from North Carolina, I can honestly tell you that I would travel across the United States to go to him for my dental needs! He is the LeBron James of dentistry! Absolutely the BEST oral surgeon you will EVER find!!!!

Dr. Jones and his staff are great. They are very professional and personable. You are kept informed on every procedure. I had an implant done and cant say enough on how well the outcome was.
