Absolutely the best dental place in NWA. Friendly staff and they always make you feel comfortable. From the front desk to the hygienist/assistants, they always remember you and do amazing work!! Dr. Johnson is amazing and I’m fortunate to have a dentist like him. He is also amazing with kids! The only dentist that could fix a chipped tooth that has held up to the wear and tear of an 11 year old.

I am incredibly terrified of the dentist, have been since I was a child. Dr Harris understood that was so kind and gentle. Bobbie was so nice at my first visit and Bri was so awesome with the gas and was so sweet and comforting.

Go see them for your dental needs! I cant praise Dr. Silvestri, Dr. Johnson and all the ladies there enough! I came to that dental office with a mess of a mouth to the point where I was ready for dentures. I was afraid of dentist due to bad experiences in the past. Everyone from the front door to the back door, are very friendly and welcoming. That office took me in, took care of all of my dental needs, and treated me with the utmost respect. After a year of total mouth care I was able to keep a lot of my natural teeth and replace missing teeth with partials; that I am very pleased with! They restored my trust in dentist and belief that they could do good work. They do not even realize how much more they have given me other than a clean mouth and a pretty smile. They have helped to boost my confidence tremendously! I am very grateful and thankful for all the hard work that they put into my smile!

Dr. Harris is the guy you want on your side!! He is the best dentist around. He always makes me feel comfortable and is a very conservative dentist. He will not just drill on your teeth for the fun of it. I appreciate his approach and he was able to fill a cavity for me that another dentist told me would have to be a root canal. Dr. McShane the oral surgeon has also done work on me and called me the day after my surgery to make sure I was comfortable and had no issues. The whole staff is great. I am one who used to have major anxiety when I even thought about the dentist. I highly recommend this facility!!

I havent been to a dentist in years and the thought of going to one causes great anxiety. The staff were friendly and informative on each step and more importantly didnt shame me. The dentist himself genuinely cares and is taking the initiative to help alleviate my dental issue.

I’ve been receiving care at Family Dental Center for many years and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Valerie and Dr. Harris are exceedingly professional, thorough, and friendly. I feel very comfortable with them and trust their expertise. Valerie is efficient, hilarious, and explains everything so well- answering my many questions. I kind of wish they were in charge of all my other healthcare, haha! I’m also impressed with their extra safety precautions during the ongoing pandemic. They take cleanliness and safety seriously. Because of these folks, I don’t hate going to the dentist, because I know I’m getting good care and I can always count on their friendliness!

Everyone here is wonderful but Valerie always goes above and beyond to make it a fun experience! I never thought that I would actually look forward to my dentist appointments but I actually do!! She is very knowledgeable and professional but she goes out of her way to make it fun.

I was in a TON of pain from an infected tooth this afternoon (a Saturday). Dr Johnson and his assistant, China took time out of their weekend to meet me at the office and provide some much needed relief. Not only did they care for me today but the staff has always been friendly and provided exceptional care. When I moved to Northwest Arkansas 7 years ago Family Dental Center was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dental office.

I used to take anxiety medication and received gas during my appointments, just to be able to handle dental work. Hard to believe that Id ever be saying this about dental appointments, but its truly how I feel because I know I’m in great hands and that I will be leaving the same way I came in... Smiling!!! Dr. Silvestri had hands of pure wizardry when he fixed my cavity. I was super nervous as this Was my first cavity and I really didn’t feel a thing! The spot where he fixed my tooth is super smooth too and feels great. The whole process was honestly just fine and a lot more pleasant than I expected. Dr. Silvestri’s assistant was awesome to talk to and seemed like she knew exactly what to do to make everything flow well. My hygienist Bobbi is also super gentle when she does my cleanings and is super fun to talk to during my appointments. They are always timely and get me in and out very efficiently while maintaining great relationships with their patients.

I’ve used FDC for nearly 40 years and running. They’ve always attended to my every care and caries with the utmost of professionalism.

I entered the doors of FDC for the first time in 2004 and the whole team has made a positive impact on my life. Drs. Tinnin, Martin (recently retired and still making a dental professional impact with the states of Arkansas and Tennessee) and Silvestri have all 3 been very instrumental in helping me maintain proper oral health. A special mention to Dr. Martin and his wife Julie (hygienist) as they both initiated a powerful conversation with me in 2005 that altered my total body health. George and “Jules” are good people. The dental assistant team are all constantly working hard and growing their skills.The financial leader, Julie S. is a true pro and makes that process painless even though it involves money...not an easy job. Renee and the rest of the team up front do a good job keeping the whole place running like a clock. When issues arise, the business works hard to resolve and improve them. For these reasons and more, I recommend this dental team.

Not only is he extremely knowledgeable in what he does, but if there is something he doesnt feel comfortable with advising you on, he will tell you that and point you to the best resource that he knows of to help you. This is exactly why I left my last dentist, and a large reason why I will stick with Dr. Silvestri. He truly cares about what is best for his patient and isnt just trying to make more money by giving you some temporary solution because you have insurance that will cover the costs. Dr. Silvestri and his staff are always incredibly kind and knowledgeable each time I come in for routine appointments or procedures! I used Dr. Silvestri for my gum surgery in March 2019. He shaped my gums, and it was a quick and painless procedure! He followed up multiple times with appointments and calls to ensure I had no issues. This was a year ago, and I am still so happy with how it turned out. By far the best dentist office in the area!

My family have been patients here for a very long time, and we all love Dr. Tinnin. Hes always extremely friendly, nice and makes going to the dentist a breeze. Our normal hygenist Valerie is also phenomenal, and the sweetest person youll ever meet. They make getting regular check ups easy, and I actually looked forward to them every six months. They also completely overhauled my dads teeth, and they did an amazing job.Unfortunately I had to move away, and ran into some issues with booking my hygenist and dentist because of the limited time I was back in Fayetteville. All of the other hygenists I saw were awesome, and couldnt be any kinder and easier to work with. That being said, I had to switch dentists and was very disappointed. Suddenly I had way more cavities than Ive ever had before, without really having a change in my dental habits. I didnt feel like my questions were taken seriously, and felt like it was pretty much all my fault and that I sucked at taking care of my teeth. I dont mind being told I have issues, but more constructive feedback and knowing what I need to do better would have been great. Im finally writing a review because Im having to have one of the fillings I had done replaced, and was literally told by another dentist 6 months after it was placed that it would have to be replaced because of the poor quality. I get having to replace fillings every once in awhile, but now my newest dentist acted like this filling was over 5 years old, when its maybe 2.5-3 years old max. They also used a black liner on the back of my two front teeth, which is very easy to see and has disappointed every dentist Ive been to since. Im also not going to say the name of the dentist, because I would rather this review help Family dental Center and their team rather than negatively impact someones career.Anyways, after all of that, I would still recommend coming here. I never had any issues until after I moved away, and truthfully should have just found a dentist closer to where I lived. It does say something though that I wanted to keep coming back to Family Dental Center, especially during my holidays.

Everyone there is so kind, and it feels like an actual family environment as soon as you walk in the door. The entire staff are SO sweet and make you feel at ease if you’re at all uncomfortable with dental visits. The doctor did a great job of explaining things to me and made sure to not just tell me my problems but showed me them. Very very thorough. I feel confident that my long term dental health is in good hands. I’ve recommended this practice to every single person who asks because they’re 100% the best in town! I’ll be a patient as long as I’m in NWA for sure! Thank you FDC!

This is THE place to go for dental work. The quality of work is fantastic, and I never met a staff member that I didnt like. Definitely a warm environment. Their scheduling is flexible, and there is barely any wait time to see the dentist. No need to ever look elsewhere!

Ive been going to Family Dental Center on and off for 15 years. I originally had Dr. Martin, but after he retired I became Dr. Silvestris patient. I liked Dr. Martin and he was a great dentist, but I cannot rave enough about Dr. Silvestri. He is by far the best dentist I have worked with. I have issues with staying numb and I also have difficult teeth to work on. He takes his time to make sure everything is perfect, makes sure I am comfortable and 100% numb at all times, and he has great bedside manner. He makes the process so easy that I almost fall asleep in the chair when hes filling cavities. I have never had that happen before.Ive been to dentists before who arent passionate about what they do and it carries over into the rest of the office. But its evident that the entire staff at FDC loves what they do. They are always kind and caring. The atmosphere is amazing.I will keep going to FDC as long as I live in this area.

I found Dr. Johnson a couple of years ago. (A family dentist had referred me.) Three root canals later, hes still the best dentist Ive ever had. He and Morgan (his AMAZING assistant) are two truly wonderful people. Dr. Johnson is not only a very talented dentist, he is also comforting and super funny (with the help of Morgan, of course). Ive dreaded going to the dentist since a traumatic pediatric dental experience. I still get anxious at dental appointments, but the team at Family Dental Center couldnt be better. Dr. Johnson calls you the evening after any procedure, just to check in. Yes, apparently some dentists still do this! Im moving out of town but will definitely be traveling back for any dental appointments.

I just left Family Dental Center, and I have to say it was the most pleasant dental experience. I really have to thank Terri, the Hygienist. She worked on my teeth and showed me techniques no other place has. She worked on cement, that was from a built in retainer when I was 14! Got it complelely smooth. No one has ever cared for my teeth like that. And Im grateful. Thank you Family Dental and a special thanks to Terri! :)
