I moved to 3 hours from Falmouth 6 months ago and called to cancel my enrolled and they continue to charge me and now they say that I have to go in person to cancel, what they have to do complicated things, but they continue to charge my bank account, What a new modern way to steal money from people, I told them that if I could call the bank and cancel that payment and the manager tells me that I can do it but the account is not canceled and they would continue to accumulate the payments with more late fees payment…

Complained about guests arriving 30 minutes before close. Considering some people don’t get out from work and ready until 7:30 that window is still open. For a judgment free zone it’s very unprofessional to talk amongst each other as well as with other male guests about females guests. I thought if you have a planet fitness membership you’re allowed to work out at any PF facility, but I overheard that we weren’t “regulars and shame on us,” yet we left the same exact time that your male guests did that you were complaining about us to.

Great gym. I wish that ALL would wear masks. Another P.F. gym I go to has a picture of how to wear a mask and how not to wear a mask. Staff themselves sometimes do not wear masks in correct manner.

It is truly unfortunate that I am left with no other option than to leave a 1 start review. I enjoyed my time at Planet Fitness, but I moved out of state and now they refuse to let me cancel my account. I have called multiple times. I am following COVID protocols (whether you believe in them or not is irrelevant), and cannot get a wet signature to cancel my account. They continue to bill me even thought they know I am no longer able to attend the gym. Terrible customer service. When I return to Maine, I will not be back. I would rather drive the extra time to YMCA Falmouth where they are reasonable.

I love this gym and the staff is friendly. I normally don’t write reviews but I feel compelled to write this one considering my concern with the well-being of the members that work out in this gym. I have witnessed way too often members in the lifting weights areas, breathing heavily and not wearing a mask at all. Considering that this gym is small and we are in an enclosed space, I feel concerned. Perhaps the staff should enforce the use of masks while lifting weights since they are breathing heavily while doing it. Currently I don’t see any concern with the gym staff.

Id like to give a shout-out to the trainer at Planet Fitness in Falmouth, MA -- Renee. I walked in as a total beginner (age 61) and primarily joined to address some health problems I have -- doctors suggestion. I made an appointment with the resident trainer (Renee) to get a personalized exercise program (offered free with membership) because I had no idea how to get started or how to use the equipment without worsening my recurring back and hip pain. Renee designed a program for me that took my health issues into consideration but was still challenging enough to make a difference. She also took time to demonstrate how to do each exercise & machine correctly for maximum benefit without injuries. As it turns out, the program is just right for me -- hard enough to cause a light sweat but still gentle enough to avoid getting hurt. Recently I asked Renee for a second exercise program. Now I switch back and forth between the two routines week by week to get a better workout and avoid boredom. I highly recommend Planet Fitness--Falmouth and their resident trainer, Renee. She is excellent at her job.

Love this gym! Always clean! Friendly staff. In the last year I have not had to wait for a machine that I wanted to use for very long. The people that use this gym are extremely friendly.There was only one incident of washed up gym rats acting like they were in the movie mean girls but that isn’t the gyms fault.So convenient and close to my house and the staff is always willing to help.

Few minor things that could be improved with equipment but otherwise it’s a great place to workout at. Staff is helpful. Really wish they had longer hours though!!! Just tried both massage chairs this week and loved it.

This gym has spoiled me with their super friendly staff. I had to move so I attend other Planet Fitness gyms and the staff there isn’t as friendly, which makes me miss this location!

Extremely clean, friendly staff, and well maintained. Mostly old people come here during the day time. Younger crowd shows up in the evenings.

I have no issues with the staff. I feel that they are always pleasant and helpful when needed. Environment always feels inviting and upbeat. If you think its unpleasant here then give Wareham a shot. Much bigger, but not inviting, nor is it clean by any means. I have not experienced any extra charges, but will be sure to keep an eye out. My only complaints are that there is not enough room for stretching and so many people don’t wipe down equipment after use. A lot of times I can’t get onto mat in the back. It can also be a little tight in the gym sometimes, as it’s a little on the small side.

The staff at Planet Fitness here in Falmouth is AWESOME!!! They keep it very clean and well managed, its also not filled with people just hanging around on the equipment socializing. I love this PF!!

People, watch your account! They will charge you for two memberships when one is sufficient. When brought to the attention of Victor, the so called manager, he blames the customer and refuses to give a refund for their mistake. Sad that a good gym has a horrible staff. In my opinion to the owner, can this staff and get you some new employees. That is if you care about your customers.

Great gym. I am so glad they opened up in Falmouth. Used to be at Rockys, but this is 100000% better.

Reasonably clean environment, likely because its still pretty new. Lack of common sense management and poorly experienced customer service team make it a poor place to patronize.Edit for response to owners reply:I did speak with management directly, whose cavalier & dissonant approach only added to my frustration. When I asked to speak with someone to whom hes held accountable I was told there was no other person to contact. I was told that someone would contact me, I asked when, and was told that it depends on how busy they are. I havent been contacted yet. Id be happy to discuss my experience with you. The staff here is terrible because the manager is really terrible. I found charges on my account that didnt belong there and when I tried to talk with staff I got a bunch of lies and rudeness and when I asked to speak with the manager he was extremely rude. whoever put those charges there had me checked in on days I know I wasnt there. Nothing resolved and they know how to do this and get away with it. I cut my losses and join another club nearby....much happier. My advice STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEN OF THIEVES.

Watch your credit card information with these people. I would recommend one of the other fitness centers nearby. Most of the positve reviews are most likely posted by staff.
