Great place to work out. The place is always clean and the staff is very friendly!

I’m sure you know why you’re getting a one star. As a manager myself you should do better and always investigate a situation your employee has made up. And I’ve honestly haven’t heard anything good about a planet fitness. Hope you guys do better for your customers who should come first.

I’ve been to dozens of locations and this one is easily the most unprofessional, poorly-managed facility I’ve stepped foot into. I’ve witness on multiple occasions employees laughing at members working out and when brought to the attention of management, nothing was done. Whatever you do, DON’T go here!

Quiet, very clean and sanitized, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, helpful staff. Well maintained equipment and more equipment than you could ever use. Great hours and at a very reasonable price.I love this gym.

I previously gave PF a 5 star review but after repeated attempts to reach someone about an unauthorized charge on my account I have not heard from anyone and the charge remains on my account.

Not my own experience, but banning someone because one of your crusty employees didn’t like her and because this individual stated falsehoods about someone’s character doesn’t sit right with me. Accusations should be investigated fully. Innocent until PROVEN guilty. You banned this individual without actually doing any real investigating into the situation. This isn’t 1692 in Salem, where you just have to accuse someone for them to be punished. Investigate! As a manager, myself, I would investigate issues like these before acting. DO BETTER!

Ive been in management for about 5 years. Not a long time but even I know to launch a formal investigation into an employee before banning a customer. Do better.

Banning a member because of a jealous ex. Honestly the worse environment to be around. This gun has found to be extremely toxic. We visited while we traveled 10/10 would not recommend. The star is rude. The worker kelcy is very judgmental. Happy to take our business elsewhere

The girl at the front desk who’s name begins with a k needs to be fired. That’s and the managers because they didn’t step up and check out the situation before banning a member and a non member for life.

Banning someone without sufficient reason/evidence is not okay. I will not be recommending this location or others to anyone. Should consider righting your wrongs now. Also, this isn’t the first time I’ve heard bad things from planet fitness, as they scam people out of money.

If I could leave no stars, I would. Not my experience, but the fact that y’all would ban two customers with zero evidence after one of your employees actively harassed and stalked them doesn’t sit right with me, nor should it sit right with anyone. It’s revolting to see that this is how you would treat your customers, with zero evidence. I’m not surprised, though. Judging by your other reviews, it seems that this place is riddled with unprofessional and rude employees.

Seeing the way this place treats is customers is embarrassing. It’s terribly managed. The employees will sit there and start talking bad about other people who are there to better themselves. It’s absolutely sickening. As a manger, I’d be embarrassed to have these kind of people represent me. Do not recommend at all.

If they don’t like you, you will be harassed and then banned—even if you aren’t a member! Very unprofessional staff and management. Gym is unclean.

They got all the machines your heart could ever desire and free weights to 75lbs. Staff uphold the welcoming, no judgement atmosphere and do a good job manning the front desk. Im usually the most disruptive person there and theyve always been very polite and accepting of my theatrics. Keep up the great work yall.

Came here for a quick jog before they closed and didn’t realize I was unwelcomed until I overheard the two female workers complaining to male guests how “I was not a regular.” I ended up walking out at the same time as the males guests you guys complained about me to. Then had the gall to make a scene to say you were trying to get my attention about the hours for the Portland location? When did this happen? Because I’m all the way down by the treadmills running with my earbuds in so I would definitely have seen someone come up to me. I felt like this was only done TO LET THE MALE GUESTS KNOW THAT IT WAS ME YOU WERE TALKING ABOUT. When I say it fell silent; don’t let me stop you from talking since it didn’t before. Your name must be karen, just didn’t know it came at a younger age. Super unprofessional, making other guests feel uncomfortable. Planet Fitness got “safe Space” so wrong.

I, and my boyfriend, were banned because their employees think it’s okay to harass customers every time they go in. The regional manager did not listen to my side of what actually happened, and then banned my boyfriend and I. They sent me an email saying my boyfriend was banned, when he did not have a membership. One of those employees should be fired, and she’s right always at the front desk.

Its OK. Front desk is a bit in your business. Bathrooms are rarely cleaned it seems.

I’ve joined several facilities throughout the US. This facility had the worst communication and follow-through I’ve ever experienced. Several sketchy occurrences happened and I’ll never be back.

I was from outta town. No card. They were helpful and courteous...unlike Portland. Appreciate the kindness. Didnt feel like I was a criminal for tryn to use the gym in Falmouth ME.! Thanks to the crew😎

The Planet Fitness facility at Falmouth is seldom crowded and the staff is obliging and helpful. The music is set to the correct volume so that if you want to listen to it you can but it is not overwhelming and requiring your own personal set of earbuds to drown out the volume. The place is airy and well lit; the ceilings, unlike some facilities, is painted white instead of black, giving it a more open feel. Locker areas and showers are clean, well maintained and in excellent condition.

Every employee is very nice and helpful. The facility and equipment are all very clean. Most of the time I have room to do what I want. I love my gym.

A bank account is not something a GYM deserves access to- via credit card or debit card. I want to pay a year up front- CASH. Further more- you told me that you would accept the $275 upfront in cash- which is WAY over the 100/.year membership you widely promote. Ethically I can not and will NOT join a facility that demands access to my bank account for fees. I am not impressed with the statement- we will accept $275 cash up front if you wish to pay for the year in advance, but if you want the $10/ mo- we would need access to your debit card. Need I say more?

This is my home gym. The staff is generally great. Had a weird experience the other night when a muscle boy I hadnt seen before decided to do his own circuit in the general workout area, using his water bottle to block off the pec fly machine. When he was not using it, I attempted to cycle in a set, and was stopped by him. I never did get to use the machine. I probably should have reported it to the desk, but didnt have the time or energy.

Everythings great and I love my workout here. Except the weighing machine which is outdated in the mens room.Requesting the manager for a new weighing scale to measure the body weight. Thanks.

Well cleaned and maintained, all the equipment I could ask for and more, friendly staff who encourage you just enough without being all up in your business. Wish the TVs by the cardio machines werent so much cable news and HGTV but thats easy to tune out.

Brand New facility. Great price. The staff is friendly and helpful. It lacks some traditional equipment like flat bench or incline straight bar benches. The heaviest dumbbells are only 75lbs but those are the only complaints I can think of.

Nick and John of the night crew are the most dedicated employees at this gym. They went out of their way to help me out. Great pair of guys that shouldn’t go unnoticed.

A very pleasant addition to Falmouth. Excellent staff, very clean locker rooms and plenty of equipment to maintain a varied exercise program. Parking is abundant too. I like this gym and its location. Give it a try if youre looking to start or continue your fitness program.

Love this PF-Ive been to several in New England and am impressed with how clean this location is and how friendly the young staff are-thank you for a nice gym away from home-for me to visit when in Maine.

I started venturing up to Falmouth from Portland (formerly a devoted Portland PF member) to check out the new facility. The environment is clean, machines new, and it offers many workout options. Had I written this review a week ago I would have gladly rated this location with 5 stars; however, following todays locker room incident Ive assigned a lower rating. I carry awareness of where I live, general population, etc. I do not appreciate, nor will I accept, locker room racism. A man carrying a tremendous amount of privilege made comments about the Portland location under the disguise of, Im not meaning to be judgmental. Yes, the exterior of this location is inviting...yet there is an underlying threat. While Portlands location may lack the workout options it does offer community. I will be bringing my business back to a space where all are welcomed, appreciated and held in mutual safety. I understand these comments did not come from an employee of PF, and this truly is an indirect connection to the location. Yet, I do believe this needs to shared. I hope the Falmouth location will address this in a manner that is appropriate and effective.

Clean and good equipment, but some of it cannot be used. The 30 minute circuit is clogged by people who are not using the equipment as directed. The staff refuses to enforce the rules, so those who want to do that workout cannot. It is annoying.

Small stretching area. Parking lot out front full, but, this is a great club! Friendly cliental. Wifi available.

The staff are great! love the personal trainer, Tori :)). its always very clean in the locker rooms and the general workout area aswell.

Really like the parking situation as compared to marginal way POF. I had enjoyed the Portland location until parking became diffucult , wait time to get a space frustrating especially if on time crunch...also I became a black card member recently to use new remodeled massage beds at Portland location. They overheated after like 5 minutes every time I tried to use them. Then I had to wait about 10 minutes for staff to return on beds. At Falmouth no problems like that at all. Also seems less crowed in Falmouth. Place seems clean. I do wish showers were set up more like Portland one so had a place to put your belongings when taking shower. The staff is courteous and seems knowledgeable. The TVs are differently set up as well. I do wish they were set up like Westbrook or Portland location so each individual member has their own remote and more channels to choose from. I find that more relaxing when I can have the choice to watch up to 73 channels. Overall very pleased. One more thing that I wish is that a black card member would be allowed to let a guest try the massage bed and chairs, sometimes that will make or break their decision to become a member. But the staff said no they cant try the massage area beds or chairs. Only the gym part.

Have been a PF member for 2+years and love the Famlouth location. The facility has it all, and the staff are welcoming everytime I enter. What’s keeping me from scoring a 5 may not seem important but to a football fan like myself it is. I went to the gym today, Sunday, as I do every weekend and of the 22 TV monitors going, not 1 had an NFL game on. There was everything from multiple cooking shows to ancient reruns of CSI but not an NFL game to be found. I asked the nice young guy at the front desk if he would change one of the channels and he told me they’re not allowed to do that! What?? I believed him as he is just doing his job-but what knucklehead policy is this? I’m absolutely sure I’m not the only member who has an issue with this. C’mon, you can’t tell me that switching Channel 8 to Channel 13 would take an act of Congress. If you’re really trying to appease everyone then you need to take a hard look at this policy. Sunday NFL football has the highest tv ratings for that day. Hopefully someone in management can look into this. Other than this issue, highly recommend PF/Falmouth 😄
