Has always been the best office I have I have visited, everyone is professional.Now that Dr.Child has a assistant taking the visit information, it makes the appointment better in my opinion.It takes me about 1 hour to get to the appointment, but is well worth it.

Staff was very nice and attentive when I arrived. Office was clean and professional in appearance. The problem began when an unqualified sales person tried to sell me glasses. She wasnt able to tell me anything about the frame and lenses I was purchasing. Having worked in optical years ago, I am fully aware of how unacceptable this was. MA does have regulations on opticians and this person was not trained properly and was not qualified work with patients on her own yet. I thought it was a language barrier, but I asked several very simple questions and she wasnt able to answer. Unfortunately I did have to purchase glasses elsewhere as I didnt feel confident with the person assisting me.

Dr. Child and team are personable and professional. The exam experience, from check in to the follow up check is efficient and pleasant. It’s easy to see why I highly recommend Cape Cod Vision.

New patient and I’m glad I made the switch. They offer the latest technology and hold a high standard of care. Everyone at the front desk was kind. The entire place has a warm and inviting atmosphere. I ended up needing to see a specialist and they went the extra mile and called the office to set up an appointment for me.

I found the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and very efficient.As a result of the very thorough, technological eye exam I was administered, an issue was with my eye was revealed. Dr Child was very kind and thorough, providing clear explanations when describing my condition and answering all of my questions. I feel fortunate to have found him as I believe that without this level of eye exam, I may have lived with this condition for quite a while.

Cape Cod provides very thorough care. The eye exams are performed with the latest equipment. Ordering lenses and glasses are all done in the shop. The staff is friendly and very accommodating.

Everyone is extremely nice and very helpful! Dr. Childs is very professional and friendly.

Dr Child and his staff were prompt and professional. He got my prescription right the first time. I will be back again and again!

Dr. Childs is wonderful, patient and mindful of his patients. The entire staff is friendly and happy to help in anyway. I have many family members that go their even my nine year old grandson. If you are looking for an eye doctor then Dr. Childs should be the one you call.

You can go anywhere and get your eyes checked but if you want to get your vision checked this is the only place to go. Excellent care and kind staff. Even during Covid is being kept very clean and healthy. A+.

Wonderful experience at this location! The staff in this office care about the people that walk through the door, whether a patient that has been with them for years, or one that just walked through the door for the first time. Highly recommend!

I brought my mother in and the staff was for the most part extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Very impressed with the technology and the standard of care this office has to offer. We had many questions about my mother’s insurance and the two women at the front desk were more than happy to get all the answers and explain it to both of us. I was less than happy with the assistance we received while looking at spectacles. The women did not seem to have knowledge of the products, nor could she explain anything to us. The prices were extremely high compared to anywhere I have ever been. We did take her prescription purchased spectacles elsewhere and are very happy with the prescription itself. Overall great medical office, but as for spectacles extremely overpriced and the person selling them was not has helpful as we needed. I will be changing my family to this office because I am very impressed with the quality of care.

Best optometrist in town, Child and his entire staff are very professional. He is helpful, patient, can handle complicated prescriptions, and importantly he stays up to date with products and technology.They also try to carry a large variety of high-quality European frames that you won’t see elsewhere in town.A true gem and rarity these days to have consistently reliable, personable, and professional service from the first appointment call (or email) through to the fitting. If you want an individualized experience and independent non-corporate eye doctor, this office is great.

Excellent:: Introductory phone call with receptionist that helped me explore options; came up with unexpected choice that delighted me; very impressed with Dr. Childs professional expertise and manner of interacting, demonstrating an awareness and skill that probably designates him the BEST Eye Care Specialist who has prescribed for and evaluated my complex condition during the 80 years I have beenwearing glasses. The entire staff is exceptional in their professional assistance in testing, the selection of glasses, processing paperwork, and their quality of attention and kindness.
