We were seen on time. The medical assistant, Bailey (sp?) is lovely, personable and acted as though she were happy to see us. Dr. Miller is thorough, gentle and knows her stuff. We both had the most complete eye exam that we have ever experienced. In addition, the office staff is polite and welcoming. We have definitely found our eye care people!

We have been frustrated over the past few years with poor customer service in the office, feeling rushed, and long wait times. Doctors and techs have not supported us having to bring our young family into appointments with us, even before Covid. Ive worn glasses and contacts for many, many years, and have seen many eye care professionals, and am unimpressed with Brighton Eye Care. Well continue to search around the Portland area for a decent eye doctor.

I’ve been going to Brighton Eye Care every year for as long as I can remember and I’ve never had anything but a great experience. I’ve had issues with my eyes that someone my age doesn’t typically have but I’ve always felt well educated and at ease because of Dr. Goss, Dr. Whelan and their amazing ophthalmology technicians. Not only are the exams quick and painless, but the optician staff is professional and personable. Thanks to them I feel beautiful in glasses, and on top of that they are always willing to make timely adjustments to my frames any time I stop in. I’ve seen Dr. Whelan for about 13 years or so. She is always informative, professional and helpful. Today’s appointment was delayed quite a bit. I would have liked to have been informed of the wait time before driving to the office.

I’m very disappointed, I have been seeing Anne for over 10 years... and have been trying to book an appointment to come in for weeks. It is near impossible to get in at this point. I’m sad to say that I’m going to have to find a new doctor. The front desk is not very helpful, and less then accommodating. I know I have other family that has been waiting almost 6 months to see her. With issues with their eyes! It’s scary depending on someone else for your vision.

I have been using Dr. Goulet‘s services for the last 12 years. She is kind and takes her time to talk, I never feel rushed. There’s always attention to detail and the staff is friendly and helpful as well. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Dr Goulet is one of the best opticians I’ve had the pleasure of being a patient of.The only downside is, being a diabetic, she really takes me to task about my sugar intake. I know she cares.Highly recommended!

We have been patients of BEC since they began, over 20 years ago. We have never been disappointed either with the care we have received nor the products we have purchased. Our children grew up going to them and now their spouses do as well. All the Doctors are professional but still have a warm and caring side to them. Dr. Goulet was quick to diagnose an issue I had and has maintained constant follow up on my condition. I am sure the other Doctors practice the same way. Their Opticians are great as well having been there a number of years themselves, to the point we know on a first name basis. There is not a time goes by that after a visit to them, my wife and I will talk about how much we have valued them as our Doctors. As usual, always exceeds my expectations. I have been going to this practice for 25 years and I find the providers to be professional, knowledgeable and cater to my specific complex eye are needs.

Overall it was ok. I was not happy with the nurse found her to be very gruff and her mannerism with me she seemed agitated. My eye would not adjust to contact and the doctor had to try a few different ones I was getting discouraged and felt she was too. I was told there would not be another fee and there was after I asked them several times so I found that to be very misleading. The girls in the office were very kind and enjoyable .

The staff is friendly...the Dr. was great and very thorough...and there are a GREAT selection of eyeglass frames all within my insurance coverage! Plus they offer email and text reminders of appointments and you can schedule an appointment online! Cant say enough about how great it is!

As a mother of children who have high anxiety going to places can be a challenge let alone getting one of their children to actually participate is a struggle enough and thanks to Brighton Eye Cares team they were able to accommodate not only my eldest daughter who has high anxiety but also my youngest daughter who wasnt even the patient at the time theyre ladies were so fantastic and knowledgeable and answered any and every question my daughter had with a smile every time.

I have been going Brighton Eye Care for at least 5 years. My doctor is Kimberly Goss and is exceptional to work with. All of the staff are super friendly and easy to talk to.I recently had an eye emergency, I called at 10 a.m. and was seen at 3 p.m. the same day. Thats the kind of service that you can expect from these professionals when youre experiencing a significant eye problem.They also have a very friendly optician group within the same practice that are great to deal with as well. I have been a long term patient at Brighton Eye Care and I have never had any problems with service or care. I find the doctors and staff pleasant, responsive, prompt, and professional. The people who help pick out and fit glasses have a very good sense of style and what will look good. I do wish their office hours started earlier or went later. Many people work 8-5, so with office hours that go from 8:30-4:00, there is no choice but to take time off work for appointments and eye glass adjustments.

I have been a patient for over 20 years. I have never received anything but the best quality care for myself and my family. The doctor is well aware of our family histories and keeps track for early signs. I have a rare disease that can affect my eyes. When I had problems with a new prescription, she took many visits (no extra charge) to find out what was wrong. My prescription was changed and it made all the difference.I love Dr. Goulet and cant imagine going somewhere else. Everyone is like family!

I have been here twice and have never had such a horrible experience with an eye doctor. Both appointments I had to wait at least half an hour and felt rushed. I had an eye emergency and was told there were no appointments for weeks. Horrible service, poor quality of care.
