Dr. Robbins is awesome. She corrected my vision to near perfection 20 years ago with Lasik, and after 20 years and my eyes regressing, she has corrected it again with a lens replacement / cataracts surgery! Perfect result both times! No waiting at all at the office as described by some. They genuinely care about the outcome. Peter, who works closely with the Dr, is the absolute best....knowledgeable like a doctor, caring, responsive...and just a great guy and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend anyone to the practice!

Very helpful and caring staff, technicians and doctors. I had a terrible eye infection and was able to get an appointment right away. Waited less than 5 minutes to be seen. They took pictures of my eyes and then checked my vision. Saw Dr. Cartwright who was great. He gave me a prescription for an antibiotic / steroid eye drop. Office space is bright and clean. Parking was easy. They do have handicapped accessible parking right in front of the entrance. I also spotted a wheel chair in the waiting room.

Abismally rude staff who have no right to deny service to paying customers, not to mention the staff has almost no covid regulations.

If you have a loved one for whom you maintain power of attorney and require progress notes and bills sent to you, then this is not the place for you and your loved one. Robbins had zero understanding of how to send me a bill for my aunt or the progress note. I had to literally beg them to send me a bill and take my money. Calls and emails went unanswered and their call system is not intuitive. If their administration behaves in this manner, then it makes me worry that their care is just as fragmented. With an aging population quickly on the horizon, they have some improvements to make.

Last visit here was awful. I do not recommend at all!!!! They had me waiting in the waiting room for almost 2 hours before being brought in to a room to be examined. And then the technician who I have never seen before and I have been going to Robbins eye center for more then 5 years was very rude huffing and puffing getting mad at me when I could not see the chart to read the letters and after she finished I was told a different Dr then my normal Dr would be seeing me. When I question her she told me that my Dr. that I have been seeing for the past 4 years left the practice. One it would of been nice to let me know that when I made the appointment and not side blinding me at my appointment. Well I had to wait another 30 minutes in the exam room to wait for the Dr. to come in she had did her exam so fast I didn’t have time to think. My eyes were never dilated and check for glaucoma. Which I always get done every year because glaucoma runs in my family she just told me my specialist eye Dr. I go to can do it. Also I was charged for a contact fitting and could not have it done because they did not have my strength for my eyes in stock as well. So all and all I never got my full exam or contacts had to wait 2 1/2 hours before being seen by a Dr to be told I had to come back another day. But they still charged me full price for everything even though I did not get a full exam and wasn’t given any results of what they did and wanted to charge me again when my strength of contacts came in.

The environment was neat and ideal.The staff so attentive and professional. The technicians took time and patience to examine my eyes. Everyone was so polite except one person at the front desk (not the lobby front desk).The Doctor was especially so professional, patient and polite.Good job! Keep it up!I highly recommend this place to anyone. You will love it!

One star only because I cant leave zero. If you you dont value your time, this is the place for you! As a first time patient I arrived 15 minutes early for my 10:30 appointment. 45+ minutes later (30+ from my scheduled apt time) and I still wasnt called in.No one came by to say if things were behind, just nothing. Sitting in a room watching people who came in after me be called in. What is the point of a scheduled apt. time if you arent going to adhere to it? Im sure if I was late or didnt show youd be ready to charge me a late fee. Have respect for your patients, especially a first time client.People take time out of their day and away from work to schedule appointments. Be professional.

What a different experience than when I used to go to there Commerce Park location. So super fast and didnt feel like I was spending my entire morning there, like in the past. A pleasant experience.

The top eye care Centre in Fairfield. Robbins Eye Center’s new facility is neat, clean, and modern. Inside the building the staff are welcoming and friendly. They provide professional service and work to make sure your appointment runs on time. The doctors as well are well qualified in their profession. They take their time to work with their patients and understand any issue that may occur.

Great doctors and staffs. I love their service

The place is neat, the staff is courteous. However, the treatment from the office staff is distant and brief... also if they are on the phone even if theyre talking or not they dont acknowledge the person standing in front of them. The Drs and their hands on staff is wonderful, polite, and if patients have small children they are very understanding and helpful. They get 3 stars out of 5 because of their office staff and because they dont have changing stations in their restrooms for mothers with small children. Thats a huge deal for us moms with small children... 😳

Horrible customer service. I spent two months trying to resolve a billing error on their part. After constantly being told a number of reasons to get me off the phone and wait for a call back that never came, I called this office one to two times a week for two months. No one ever took notes on my issue which left me to have to reiterate my issue every single time I spoke to someone. In the end they sent me to collections without any notice. I will never return to this office.

I have never been here as a patient. So not sure on patient care. It is a beautiful facility and the reception staff was very friendly to me. I was there briefly for business.

This place has been my eye care location for over 20 years from Bridgeport into Fairfield with Dr. Robbin and her staff you cant ever go wrong. Great doctors but horrible staff and customer service. I’ve received a bill in the mail that I wasn’t aware of, tried calling more than 7 time to speak to someone and find more about it and never e en received a call back after leaving multiple voice mails. Not to mention I was put on hold for more than 20 min when I finally got to speak to someone. Very unprofessional staff, which is unfortunate since the doctors are so good.

I came here for my contact lens fitting. the first time i tried to make a check up appointment they gave me a time to be there. i called to confirm the appointment , and they tell me there is no appointment & that i’m not in the system. so they give me another time & i go there for the contact lens fitting. later i make another appointment over the phone for a training session at 1 o clock. soon as i get there, they tell me i’m not in the system again. honestly horrible service, and unreliable people who don’t help you at all.

Ive been going thei for many years my Dr has always shown quality care for me as a patient. Had three different Drs, they were all wonderful. Now I have a new one who is also excellent.

Dr. Robbins is an amazing physician, highly skilled. She takes her time with you and Peter, who does the surgery scheduling/testing is awesome. The front desk is terrible, beyond terrible. Guy who sits there refuses to transfer calls and claims to be the: C.O.O.? Doubt it.

They took very good care of my mother, she had lasik and no longer wears glasses!

Great eye exam, The doctor took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I am glad they took thier time and it was worth the wait.

My experience has not been great with Robbins eye center. When I first went there the front desk person wasnt friendly and It took over 45mins just to meet with the doctor. They were highly unorganized. They screwed up on the billing and almost overcharged me. Now I am having issues with my prescription and the best advice is to come in.

God awful practice. Been coming for years wont release my files without a doctor signoff after not telling me my insurance was no longer accepted when I showed up for my apt so I can go see another doctor. Not even telling me through email or when I made the apt over the phone my insurance was no longer being accepted. Save your time and go somewhere else. Very rude bitshy staff at front who are useless.

This is my second year as a patient. I started with them when they were in Bridgeport, CT.I am diabetic, type 2, and had it for several years without knowing it, as I had no symptoms, until an extremely severe pain started and I seek medical attention.One of my resulting medical complications was a sudden cataract that made me loss my vision in one eye in a matter of weeks After a long evaluation of my eyes involving several visits, for what seems many measurements, plus a pre surgical preparation, Dr Robbins extracted the old lens and replaced by a new artificial one. I have to admit i was scared and thinking in how the great Johann Sebastian Bach was operated from cataracts (no anesthesia then).To my surprise, the operation took a few minutes and I was fully awake and saw what was happening. The Dr told me to look at a light and no move. Suddenly, I saw a light and a disc entering my visual field. After a few seconds my eye was closed. I had no pain nor complications.My vision was excellent by the next day. A few days later I went for a check up and cutting points. I went several times for monitoring and check for any symptom of infection (they were very insistent about that). For some time, I had to wear safety glasses.Their personnel was competent and I was treated very nicely. After the a few post op visit I was discharged and schedule for a once a year visit. Dr Robbins also referred me to a retina surgeon, who treated my retina for hemorrhages and inflammation.Currently my vision is 20/20 in both eyes, even though I have a starting cataract in the other eye but basically stable. Same for the retina. Ive been very lucky and averted blindness. Diabetes is a very tricky metabolic disorder.Later I learned that a plumbing accident ruined her operating rooms and they moved temporarily to a quite uncomfortable facility, where I also saw a lot of new faces, now they are in Fairfield and this will be my first visit there.Dr Robbins, also holds an MBA and share with other Drs. a very busy practice.Fairfield County, in CT, is the wealthiest county in the USA, still with poor areas, however, and the Doctors I have been referred to by my head doctor, Dr Haroon Khaleed, are the same Doctors who treat many VIPs and also donate their time for wonderful causes, from giving free medical treatment to serving in soup kitchens.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. The people are EXTREMELY rude. We waited over an hour to see the doctor and when asked how much longer it would be since we had to go soon they told us It typically takes over an hour to be seen and if you dont like it you can go somewhere else. Highly unprofessional and unorganized place. AVOID THIS PLACE!!
