This credit union used to be great. But unfortunately it has turned into your run of the mill bank. I’ve noticed over the years that the better my credit has gotten, the less this credit union wants to help. They shut your cards down at a moments notice while on vacation ( even after you notify them you’re traveling). And let’s not forget the spending caps they put on your cards without your knowledge. They’re closed more than they’re open. And almost every other C.U. Will give you a better interest rate on a loan. Most the staff is pretty good people but there are better places to bank. I will be looking to transfer my accounts. NW plus C.U. Is a sinking ship and it’s time to disembark.

I have been with NWPlus for many years, today I attempted to deposit rolled coins mostly quarter and dime rolls, for years I was told anything under $100 no fees, today they want 5% of it, when theres a change shortage going on? I called the lady said yes we have to pay to use the coin counter, isnt there business to count money, do they rent the coin counter, really? I guess its time to find a bank or credit union who is not so petty, and give credit for the full amount deposited? The reviews dont add up either, the score should be much lower as the majority are one star reviews, which speaks volumes about their service! Worst ever...

Ive been a member of NWPCU for over 17 years. Everyone has always been so helpful and professional with all of my questions and concerns, when I unexpectedly needed to buy a new car this week their loan department was my first call.

Lydia in the mortgage department was so rude and unprofessional. I had a red shirt on with a politicians name on it, she was nasty to me because of my shirt. Which was not inappropriate or offensive. I’ve never felt so uncomfortable. The tellers are always nice and polite.

Dont bother with this place, they have a guy that works the window at Lake Stevens that is a rude self serving little P.O.S. I will be closing my account and moving to BECU or another credit union where the people arent so rude, including people who you call to explain the circumstances, what a mess.

Former account holder. This bank works at the edges of shady.Do Not go directly to this bank for a car loan make sure if your going to do business with them keep them at arms length only deal with them if theres a car dealership between you and them.because if you have a loan directly through them and you trade in the car they dont refund the difference on your GAP insurance.They also dont have a 10 day payoff calculator went to a dealership to trade in my car and apparently the number reflected on my loan payment online wasnt what was owed and then they rarely pickup the phone.They have Zero ATMs and it will cost if you need money in a pinch.I would rather chew off my own foot then deal with this bank again

I initially opened up an account at NW Plus Credit Union to get away from the big, corrupt banks that charge sneaky fees all the time. I like the friendly, local bank feel and they have a number of loan products that Im interested in.

I have had a credit card for years and never not paid.They just closed my account with no notice.I had been in many times to withdraw money. Never said anything.Now my credit score has to suffer due to the length of account and now being closed.When all payments were paid on time! I would stay away from this place. There is a reason they are 2 stars! So sad!! ESP during a pandemic!!My credit score is everything!I’m curious if they raised the rate before closing it as well! I will be looking into this.

The people who have helped me at the counter are very nice. I’ve even called some other times to get some fees waived and it worked out nice and perfectly. It is nice to have free accounts but I believe that you get what you pay for.There are some cons banking with them. There is rarely any compatibility to any of the modern day apps that I need to connect to my account. They are no longer open on the weekends.The other day I lost my debit card and my experience was completely horrible. I called their service to cancel my card because it’s closed on the weekends and was put on hold for over an hour and a half. That’s plenty of time for someone to use my funds. Not to mention I was late to work because of this phone call. After all that time I got my card cancelled. I went to this branch to order a new card and the woman who helped me was very nice but I went to the Marysville branch a week later only to realize that she never ordered my card. So I had to order it again. Waiting twice as long for it to arrive. I feel very misplaced losing my debit card and it’s been a real struggle. Definitely considering switching banks because the process of doing that was so inconvenient compared to any other bank.

I opened my NW Plus account when I got married. I had been with my previous bank for a long time but moved everything here on my wifes recommendation. I never had any real issues with my previous bank but opening an account with NW Plus changed the way I look at banking. They are always friendly and have all the things my big bank had. The tellers remember me every time I go in. Since opening my account I have opened up car loans, credit cards and a mortgage. The process has always been easy and I feel like they are really looking out for my best interests.If youre looking for a customer centric community bank (CU) you really should give them a try.

I have been banking here for about twenty years and the service used to be amazing. You always saw the same helpful employees and they knew your name and there was a local branch with an ATM. Over the years though it has changed names, reduced locations and hours and the service has declined significantly. I used to recommend this credit union to everyone I knew but now I don’t. I still recommend going to a credit union instead of a bank but now I would probably recommend BECU.

My credit card was closed without any notice. When I called customer service, the person I talked to thought it was odd that it was closed and asked for my phone number and said someone would get back to me. No one ever called. I have never had a problem with this CU before. Great rates on auto loans, but their customer service is not good.

I personally like this bank. They financed an auto loan for me when no one else would. The interest is kind of high I made payments on time for a year and asked to refinance my loan to lower my payment. However when I went through the process I was told I could qualify for a low interest rate of 6.99 percent. Then I was told they could only lower it by 2 percent. So it did lower my payment but only because they stretched the loan back out to the original 6 years. I have never had any customer service issues. I was going to open a checking account with them but after the refinance of my loan I decided to open one else where. When I go to buy a new car later in the year I probably wont ask them to finance it. I do appreciate this bank. I do what I agreed to do. So I havent had any problems.

I have been with NW Plus for over 10 years- they provide me all the same services a big bank would but with the small community feel. When I got married my husband closed his BECU account because the service provided by NW Plus was truly unparalleled. I live up north but work in the south end so I’ve had the opportunity to visit each location and although they’ve grown through out the years and have had what seems like normal staff turnover, I’ve always received warm, friendly and expert advice on everything I’ve ever asked them for. From checking account information to purchasing a new home - they just made me feel valued. Thanks for being so great! You have a member for life!

I would literally rate this place ZERO. I have a car loan through this CU and they have been completely unhelpful. Just now I called them about re-financing because my interest is so high that I actually owe more money on my car then when I started. Secondly, five minutes ago I was on the phone with one of their financial supervisors who put me on hold then five minutes later someone picked up the phone and asked how they could help me after being on hold as if the previous person just disappeared or forgot about me..... I would never choose this bank again I will be re-financing through my own credit union and please please please be sure you get your information about this bank before you ever decide to open an account with them. They are not very great they’re very far and there’s only the one location out near Everett that I’ve heard of the so be weary!!

I dont understand all the negative feedbacks. This is a great Credit Union, and Ive always gotten the best customer service. Ive been with them since they were All City, the only thing I dont like is they closed the Lynnwood branch. Why are all the branches Everett and north?

Customer service is great at the stanwood location, the staff are pleasant and quick. Nwplus as a whole, my experience with them all around is disappointing. As far as convenience, they lack that in all aspects. It wouldn’t be so bad if they had atms at their locations so I can deposit money after hours if I need to but they don’t. They are not open on weekends so if you need to deposit cash, or do any banking you’re out of luck. There are shared branches you can go to but that just seems silly to make the extra travel. I have no other choice but to make the move to a different bank or credit union that fit my needs better!

Crooks charged me $35 overdraft for a one dollar transaction, they never informed me that my account was overdrawn, not even when I was at the teller making a deposit. They charged me hundreds of dollars overdraft, thirty five dollars at a time, for each tiny transaction. If I did not have their overdraft protection then I would not have gone bankrupt

This bank does not know how to handle the process if your card is automatically stopped due to automatic fraud detection. This has happen to me over 20 times over a year and its a constant battle to have access to MY money. I work out of state, so my debit card is a must have life line.

I have been with this bank almost four years, I have had my account info compromised 7 times. Three of those time someone had gone into the bank and the bank gave them my account information without them being authorized. My friend was one of the people they gave my info to, when she went in to make her car payment on my account. I have two car loans from them and every month I fight with them about proof of insurance, worse yet, this last month the said they were going to report my car due to none payment in August and September. I went into my account online and proved Nikki was wrong, when we confronted her it was acknowledged she was wrong. I never received any statements or anything about the account being late, they were just trying to threaten and intimidate me into paying there fees. I would never refer a friend to this institution. In fact with what just happened I will have my attorneys be the next to contact them since they caused so much confusion and undue stress. What happened to peaceful banking?

I generally love banking here but today I had a terrible experience over the phone. I didnt catch her name but someone from the Lake Stevens Branch called me back after I had left a message about a check that was flagged in my account and she was THE RUDEST person I have ever had to talk to there. She had an accent and thats how i know it wasnt one of the gals that helped me yesterday. Who ever this was needs to be talked to because it was very unprofessional. I will be going into the branch to get her name and right a complaint. No one should be talked to the way she was talking to me and I dont know why she was so rude I just wanted information on how to push a flagged check through that I confirmed with the company it came from that it was legit. It made me feel like she thought I was trying to be fraudulent.

I have been with Northwest plus for several years. But now you sneeze you get a 38$ fee authorized hold is there doesnt need to be. Customer service most rude. I loved before. Took my overdraft because. Im in a medical hardship so in debt consoladation. Never late on 4 loans until hardship. They are not helping just charging & taking funds from account. Us ppl that dont make big money dont stand a chance. They just take will be leaving bank very soon. It would be nice if they cared more about customer not making almighty buck.

Ever since this CU took over All City CU things have deteriorated. They dont answer the phone, they actually told me they were not interested in opening an additional account for me, and they are not helpful. Ive been a member since 1995 and I will be moving all of my accounts somewhere else.

These guys are so awesome! They treat people as just that. People. People make mistakes and people move forward. Big banks make it impossible to do so and I just cant say enough about how grateful I am to have an account with NW Plus (NW TELCO)

I would rate zero stars but Google wont let me. Today @3:15 January 24th 2018 at the Everett location I went to speak about my account being dormant and why they closed my account. I asked about my $5 that was in savings and they said it was sent to the state . They asked for me to open up a new account. The lady who issues new accounts was rude and annoyed that I asked about my previous account. I went with my gut feeling and walked out. They can care less about this review. They are a bank that clearly puts customer service 2nd. I am now banking with wsecu. Nwplus will never get my business again.*update. You lost a member because of your customer service. Your employees lack knowledge in dealing with customers. I understood the reasoning behind closing the account. I am glad it happened. Now I dont have to deal with people who are unskilled in answering basic questions.

This financial chain was alright for the past few years, but then I got fed up with it.The most infuriating part of my experience is the strict security around buying things online. Another issue is the lack of compatibility with financial apps that I want to use.

I have been with NWPCU for more than a decade. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. Bank policies, hours and complete unwillingness to assist people on the other hand are a serious problem with this institution.
