A big thank you to the optical glasses specialist Neal who was able to help me with glasses that I had purchased from another provider and botched the prescription - he was very quickly able to see what the problem was, and gave me the steps to resolve it - He was EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable - a rare thing to find these days... Thanks Neal - appreciate your work!

I was greeted warmly by Neil, the optometrist. After my exam with Dr. Lou, Neil guided me through the process of picking out a great pairs of frames. I picked out the first one I liked, but he had me try on additional pairs so I was sure. A great experience.

I had my glasses made twice here with an error. I got so frustrated that I went to my eye doctor to have them check and he even confirmed there was an error in the prescription. I went to address the issue with the male optician who was working and he got defensive and did not offer any help or resolution. His mannerisms were dismissive and wouldn’t even aid in the return process; I had to actually go to guest services to help because he would not help. I will never come back to this location again it was a waste of my time and money and was met with such poor customer service; they truly didn’t care or help!

With this crisis thats going on I Broke my 1 and only pair of 2yrs. I usually have a back up.. unfortunately they were my back up. Eeek...Dr Wenhong was very professional and knowledgeable as well. Asked me if I had any questions and he also asked me questions? And in optical Neal was was very knowledgeable and professional. Gave step by step on my new pair of Glasses and protection plans since I only got one pair. (This time) i usually get a 2 pair. I will be back for that back up pair.

I found Dr. Liu to be highly competent, professional and friendly. She gave me a thorough eye exam and the contacts she fit me with are perfect. Id recommend her to anyone. The rest of the optical staff are friendly and professional too and a customer had mentioned the Bea is no longer there.

Great Customer service every time I go in there. The gentleman at the counter there is the best. If I owned a business I would want someone just like him working for me. He makes the experience pleasant. Give that man a raise.......

Bea at optical told me I dont have time for stupid today when i tried to order contacts in person with the contact prescription in front of me. As if, when the optician wrote out the prescription insufficiently, this was something that was my fault, and Im intending only come in to Target Optical today to annoy her on a personal level. Just trying to get contacts so that i can see. Horrible customer service, Target optical in Everett will of course not get any business from me. Its a shame too, because the dude that works there has been really nice before, and let me have one set of trial contacts to hold me over before my order came in.

My frames broke, my regular eye doc couldnt get me in for 2 weeks, and my backups were giving me headaches - so I went to Target because theyre close, and had a good sale on frames. This was the most bizarre thing Ive ever been through. Bottom line, Dr Liu shouldnt be practicing. I pointed out several times I would wear contacts occasionally but really was there to update my glasses and reading script, as it was urgent. Didnt listen one bit. Checked my current glasses for their prescription (they are more than 2 years old) and said yeah I think thats OK. Dismissed light sensitivity to contact wearing (I wear my contacts maybe twice a year) and wouldnt give me a reading prescription to allow me to read NOW because I might need it later. Told me that with 14-17 hour days, I can’t really wear contacts that long, so I shouldn’t have contacts, but sent me home with a handful of samples. Had me put sample contacts in. I insisted they were actually pretty painful (like they were torn) and blurry, she said “they look fine!” and had me leave with them (I literally had to take them out the second I stepped out of her office). She charged double for the contact exam what my insurance card said it should be and said I needed to speak with the Target associate to clarify the rates. His response was that the doctors are separate, and he doesnt know anything about it. When I asked him if I could please order glasses, he stared at me and blinked, “but you need a prescription”. Dude, did you not just see me walk out of the exam? Then said but itll take 10 days to get them in as if he was sincerely trying to discourage me from spending money in their store. Needless to say, I battled insurance to get the exam wiped off the record so I can go to my regular doctor. The most bizarre thing? In order to reverse the claim, she wants me to return the piece of paper she gave me with the (wrong) prescription, so I cant fill it - as if its a live prescription for meds. Lesson learned for trying to take short cuts.

I would never use Target for an optical eye exam. My wife Ritika Vyas visited Ying Liu at Everett, MA Store, she provided an incorrect prescription for eye and I have to return my glasses at Target store. The doctor is unprofessional and was not willing to resolve the concerns. The eye exam just lasted for 5-10 mins and it was not a comprehensive exam. I didnt realize that the doctor is not even in my Cigna insurance network.I contacted Target optical and they were also unable to help.

Doctor is fine but do not buy your spectacles from here... I bought a coach frame for my wife and had them place basic lenses and made payment. Now on the day i wanted to collect i noticed lense were not properly fitting in the frame and the person said since it is basic lense it wont fit the frame.... Total BS.
