I saw Dr. Hall for my routine exam and Rx update. Not only was he kind and personable, he took time to give me a detailed information on how to better care for my eyes. Somaya the scheduling and intake coordinator was welcoming and very prompt. Lexi, the technician who did my prelim testing was very detail oriented and made me feel at ease. Thank you for a wonderful visit. Silver Lake and S. Everett need more businesses like this!

Excellent care. Everyone was extremely courteous, professional and kind. The level of care of was really above and beyond. I came in for post surgery care and testing of eye function. Aside from the standard treatment and care you might expect, Dr. Hall reached out to me over the weekend to personally make sure I was okay and that my healing was on was continuing to stay on track. I was really touched by this.

I went to the clinic for the first time and the receptionist is very friendly. The assistant came and was very friendly and professional. She went slowly through the process to make sure I understood. Dr. Walker is very nice, thorough and patiently went over the procedure. I want to thank the whole team. I wish I could give you more than 5 stars!

Great staff! Service that and caring attitude that is hard to find

Dr. Hall is an absolute First class Dr. He helped me through some problems that had been ongoing with it. He was polite and professional, he is friendly and really listens to his patients and wants to help. It was a pretty long process and I will admit I got frustrated with the process but in the end it worked my eye is healthy and I have new glasses that I desperately needed and a fresh prescription for my contacts. I am very grateful for Dr. Halls patience and persistence. I would and do Highly recommend this Dr. They have a huge selection of glasses frames and the staff is friendly and professional.

Genuinely curious, how long does it take for glasses to come in? Im looking for a place to go for glasses and my doctor recommended this place as well, hopefully someone can answer. Thank you. :)

This place refuses to see me ever again, because I missed 2 appointments and 1 same day cancelation which is considered a missed appointment. I think that is the most ridiculous reason to never see a patient again... I could understand if there were a 6 month probation period, but to never be able to schedule an appointment, seems pretty harsh. Not only did you lose me as a patient and my business, but both of my children go there too and you lost them as patients and their business as well!!!! I definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else that cares about their patients.

Took my wife in for a foreign object in her eye. The doctor never even addressed that issue. Ran some VERY expensive test and examination only to be given some eye drops. She was then told on the next visit the swelling went down. It appears more swollen and the irritation has increased. More pain and irritation than when she went in. Was told it was improved. Other than several hundred dollars that the insurance didnt cover, her situation has gotten worse as well as our financial situation because of this clinic. Wish I could give zero stars. the response I got doesnt even address what I wrote. Predictable... again, It isnt the money, but complete and utter disregard for the issue that she was reffered for.

My 9 AM appointment did not begin until almost 9:10 AM. When the doctor finally saw me, he rushed through the appointment and failed to answer specific questions I had about eye prescription and its relation to the focal distance of light in the human eye in the detail one would expect from a medical professional. Finally, the test pair of contact lenses was thrown at me from across the room at the end of the appointment (very unprofessional) and was not in fact labeled as the prescription that I had just been assessed. I had to ask for the correct one, or to be retested again to verify if I did indeed have the correct prescription.Maybe it was just an off morning, but it was a terrible first impression and I will never go back here.

Took the kids to see Dr. Hall today and we were very disappointed with how this exam went. My son has been complaining that he can see long bright lines coming off of lights and that he gets headaches when he looks at a screen for extended periods of time. Which has been concerning as he has been schooling at home on a chromebook.This was their first eye exam. As someone who has worn glasses/contacts for more than 18 years, I know how overwhelming they can be. The equipment alone looks like something out of a si-fy movie. Yet this guy was extremely rude and rushed my kids through each step. He even SIGHED heavily if they were taking to long reading the letters. And on top of my son feeling uncomfortable he shrugs his concerns off says nothings wrong and stormed out the room. He just left my little man sitting feeling hopeless. We are filing a complaint and will be getting a second opinion. Do not go to this office.

They were friendly and very kind from the receptionist to Dr. Hall and the lady who sold me my glasses they asked me questions and help explain to what everything meant they were great I highly recommend them nice building and very clean they follow COVID procedures very nicely they’re a great team thanks for helping me. The only reason I can think that this place has such low star reviews is because some people are hypercritical. Im glad I read the 5-star reviews because the low stars were about to scare me off. I was referred here by my doctor to see an ophthalmologist about a chalazion I developed on my eyelid. The staff were kind and I never waited after my appointment time to be seen. The Dr even took a more holistic approach to my chalazion than just surgically removing it the first time I saw him. Im glad he didnt because that does come with the side effect of the duct being scarred and not working in the future. Anyways I found him knowledgeable and experienced and hope you give this clinic a chance. I dont normally write reviews I just am because this place does not deserve low stars.

Terrible. Dr was rushed, did not answer any questions- didnt even try to answer my few questions. This was the worst experience. Unprofessional, dismissive. This man needs lessons in common courtesy. I have no confidence that my eye prescription is even accurate. I plan to file a complaint with my insurance company. Horrible.

My wife and I have been coming here for our exams, glasses and contacts for 2 years and every time we have called or have been to the office we have always been pleased. Other eye care places seem to just be about sales and want to see how much money they can get our of our insurance company. Not this place. They really care about what we want and need. For example, they even exchanged my custom order prescription sunglasses because I changed my mind on the color, no hassle, no extra cost; they just let me know when to come get the new ones!! You can feel good bringing your family here, we do.

The doctor didnt even bring all the paper works to see me and after that it took only 5 mins to exam my eyes. Never going back.

Completely agree with other reviewers about Dr. Hall. He tried to rush, I couldn’t even get enough time to focus after each time he changed the lenses. I had a feeling like he was trying to get rid of me as fast as he could. On the other hand, the staff was pretty nice with me, especially the one, who did the checks before Dr. Hall saw me, she was very polite and professional.

I went here for the first time ever last week and the staff and doctor were excellent! The doctor really took the time to explain what was happening with my eyes. It was one of the best eyes exams I ever have had and highly recommend going here.

The doctor spent only 5 mins for an eye exam. Even then, he didnt pretend to care.

Dr Roger W Hall is really rude because when I am asking him ,he didn’t answer my questions and ignore me and when I kept asking him because my daughter is just a child and I suppose to know what is wrong with her eyes not her!!!!He was acting like arrogant as if that he is the only eye doctor in the nation.I even give him zero star.Baaaaaad

Its an OK place overall.Its a struggle for non english-speaking patients to go thru an appointment without feeling unimportant. The reception wont bother to even help schedule an interpreter like ALL specialists do. Ive gone with friends and family and notice the difference in overall treatment vs others around, they are super blunt at the reception.Also, the doctor barely spends any time in the exam room, its always a SUPER RUSHED visit, its almost hilarious.I reccomend Eye Doctors and Monroe Vision.

I agree with most of the reviews posted on Yelp regarding Silver Lake Eye Clinic. My interactions with the front desk ladies and the gal that ran me through the high-tech eye equipment before seeing Dr. Hall, were just fine. When Dr. Hall walked in, he didnt introduce himself or shake my hand. Just not a good first impression! During the very quick exam, I felt that being there was irritating to him, despite me trying to carry on some small talk. It was a cold and uninviting experience. The interesting thing is, I used to work in this industry and had a slight nearsighted eye prescription 20 years ago. I know my eyes have gotten a little worse over the years (hence why I went in for an eye exam), but was told by Dr. Hall, that my eyes are perfect (20/20 vision) and have no need for an eye prescription. I find it hard to believe, but if Dr. Hall was more thorough, slowed down with his eye exam and was more personable, his results would carry more weight with me!

They gave me a frame with only one lens and never fix the frame or gave me back the other lens. So unprofessional team.

They do contact lens exams and regular eyeglass exams, too. The best frame selection around. Candies, Fendi, Harley Davidson; lots of childrens and mens frames, plus so many gorgeous frames for women. Love this place.

Dont ever go here! They dont care about you just about making money. Doctor was extremely unknowledgeab about why I was even there!!!!! I just wanted new contacts the very inexperienced staff tried to upsell me and just hurt my eyes really bad! They put me in the wrong contacts and than told me I had an infection. I went over to Eye Doctors and I dont have conjunctivitis!!! Silver Lake is fraudulent!!!!!

The staff was friendly. The Dr was not so much. I felt like just another customer and the prescription was not great. Had to go to Dr. Sundholm a couple of buildings up 19th for an accurate prescription.

If you value customer service and quality Dr.s DO NOT GO HERE!The 2 minute exam for my son was ridiculous. Even my son told me even though i couldnt read it that well, it was the same as the other eye and I remembered the order they dont really pay much attention to your current condition they just go off of your last perscription. Tried to ask a question and was passed off to the office gal at the next station Since my insurance doesnt cover hardware, and refuse to pay $300 for a pair of glasses, we have always ordered them online. Asked to have the rx written down - never an issue in the past this girl was irritated. When I asked is she could measure my son PD, was told she couldnt because we wernt ordering glasses. BTW - never an issue in the past. She was VERY RUDE! Unless you have money to burn and dont really care about your eyes feel free to go there. Otherwise, buyer beware.

A very nice office with good selection of eyewear. The staff is super friendly. Dr Sundholm is really on top of newer techonology which I appreciate as I have several issues with my eyes that other doctors have not been able to adequately address.

I was in their office in Oct 2016. An office person and I both verified my insurance and both spoke with my insurance- Note insurance has a record of the calls to verify my coverage. I had my appointment in December and glasses were ordered and picked up. I did pay cash out of pocket for what was not covered. They had a problem with their billing staff. They failed to place my insurance information in my file. or lost it. They sent me a bill. I provided the correct information multiple times. Today I opps and provided the wrong insurance I was told I would be responsible for the full amount.I searched for right insurance info by calling employer at time of service and was able to contact the health insurance provider. They provided me with all the information I needed to give the clinic. I called the clinic and was given negative attitude by person who answered the phone when she heard I was the one calling. She said the person who was doing the billing was still there. But she didnt transfer, she wanted to know why I was calling. I explained to provide the correct information. She transferred me. I let them know I am sure the correct information was provided multiple times however today I gave the wrong information. I explained how I was able to get the correct information. I provided fax, address to submit claims. The clinic staff asked for the payer number. I did not have that and gave them the insurance phone number. I was told by the staff that they needed the payer number and that electronic would be faster. I was also told you know there is such a thing as billing in a timely manner. Staff told me maybe I could call the insurance back and raise the hair on their arms if they have a problem paying this or else you know, it has to be paid. I said I will call them ( the insurance) I called my insurance and the Insurance has a phone record to support my pre authorizations calls from myself and silverlake eye clinic staff prior to office visit and ordering of glasses. According to my insurance-because the Silver Lake Eye Clinic is a preferred provider In Plan they will either get paid by my insurance or will have to write it off were past the 365 days. They cannot go after me for payment per my insurance. If they do then my Insurance member support services will support me, beauce there is a record of the calls for preauthorization. The Silver Lake Eye Clinic is not a place I would recommend. If I could give them minus 5 stars I would. .

Absolutely amazing customer service and Dr. Hall is very focused on his patients.

I wouldnt use them again. The Dr. was very rushed and clearly wanted to get me out of the office asap. The office is unorganized and my order was not placed. I had to call in to remind them a week later to order my lenses. I will be looking elsewhere.
