The doctor was marvelous and very funny, which made my experience a lot more relaxing and positive. The receptionist at the end of the visit was slightly off putting, and she didn’t ask when I wanted my next appointment date or time, which was slightly blunt. Overall, everything else was amazing, and the doctor and nurse who did the procedure were so amazing. Will definitely be back again for any other needs I have!

Kirk seems very experienced, competent. Knows what hes talking about. Totally trust his judgment on how to treat my condition. Staff very nice. Put me at ease.

Had dermatology appt in Evansville on Friday with Dermatolgy Associates of Indianapolis The staff and Doctors are vary friendly and informative My appt was at 11 arrived 10 min early for check-in after sitting down in waiting room noticed I left phone in truck when I came back in they were calling me back for skin check I was in/out with TX given for issues and was back in car on way home within 20 minutes This establishment is top notch in my book If able would rate them even higher than 5 stars

I always have a positive visit with Dermatology of Indy(Evansville office). I receive a warm welcome. I never wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. Kirk Ashburn, NP-C gives me detailed explanations of my skin problems and the challenges that I face. I continuously battle Basil and Squamous Cell Carcinoma. I always leave the office satisfied that I am updated and knowledgeable of where I stand with my skin problems. Kirk also engages in conversation that makes the visit relaxing and comfortable. I recently visited Dermatology Associates of Indy to have my 10 month old baby’s rash diagnosed. Wow. This place really has it together! It’s very refreshing to visit an office like this. The office was extremely clean. The use of technology made the entire process fast and efficient... super important for anyone, but especially when you are trying to entertain a baby! Relieved to be able to get an appt within a few days for a concern I had. Prefer paper to the tablet I had to use to sign in with information. Very pleased with the friendly front desk person. Extremely pleased with the personable, competent and accommodating nurse practitioner who provided my care.

The amount of tissue taken was not necessary for a biopsy. Stitches were needed after the biopsy and then a month later they took more tissue causing more stitches and a terrible scar. The billing department couldn’t get our billing information right either.

Wonderful and caring staff. Great doctors and nurses and they do a top job of making sure all your questions are answered. Plus you dont have a long waiting room time!

Kirk Ashburn was the only one that properly diagnosed my wife with her condition. A handful of other doctors had no idea of what was causing the rash and once those other doctors were told what it was and what had caused it, they were shocked because they never heard or seen anything like it before. My experience with staff was excellent the doctor was very informative and gave me great options for my care.

I was concerned about a 6 mm mole, which I went to have removed there. Ashburn tried to remove it with a 3mm punch the first time. It was tested and found that some of the mole was still left (obviously). So on my second visit, we rescheduled to have a lesion biopsy performed, because he didnt have enough time to do that procedure that visit (said he needed 30 minutes). But when I came back on the third visit, he insisted we do an 8 mm punch instead of the lesion biopsy we agreed on. He assured me he would get all of it, even after I voiced my concerns. So on the forth visit, the test came back, and no surprise, he missed some of the mole again. It is very frustrating because I know Ashburn was trying to gouge me for visits and money in this way. All I wanted was him to remove my mole, which I was worried could become cancer. Bad practice, big waste of time and money. Now I have to find a different dermatologist to finish his work for him.
