These people are now celebrities in my book. Everyone here treated me with such warmth and patience (eye drops are a nightmare for me). I came in for an eye exam and to get the biggest, rounded pair of glasses I could get my hands on. While they are not round but a strange fascinating octogonal shape, I am still so pleased with how everything went. The location is a little out of the way for me, but it was definitely worth the trip!

Note that only open in Evanston on Thursday and Friday. Evanston ph. number goes to Buffalo Grove despite being listed on Central St. door--and making an appt, at that number I was not informed it was for Buffalo Grove, despite being a several year client. Caution!

Ive always liked Rosin eyecare, previously another name. But when I ran out of contacts this summer and was out of state, they wouldnt give out a prescription so that I could get an emergency replacement. I wont be coming back for this reason. Unacceptable.

Rosin eye care has always been helpful, professional and knowledgeable. Travis makes ordering and billing seamless. Anytime we have questions or need an appointment, Rosin has been very quick to respond.

Have been going her for 8 years. Stuck with them even though they turn over doctors every year. Now with this current pandemic, they refuse to resupply contacts without coming into office for a visit with yet again a new doctor. Refuse to make any accommodations in this trying health risk time we currently live in. Unfortunate. Do NOT recommend. They are NOT the local business they once were.

Eye exams aren’t supposed to be fun but I really enjoyed the hour I spent at Rosin. The staff is uniformly warm and professional. It was a huge improvement over my experience the past few years at an optometry chain elsewhere in Evanston.

I have no doubt that the optometrists at this place are competent, but that is not the bar to clear. Many other places have competent optometrists.The problem is the painfully long turn around time for eyeglasses. Last year they took three weeks, and it looks like that will be what happens this year too. Add to that a snarky staff and the rude corporate were-so-big-we-dont-care-what-you-think atmosphere, and you have the makings of a place that couldnt go out of business fast enough.

I have been a patient of this eye care office, recently added to the Rosin Eyecare group, for many years. Travis the manager and Jessie the optician have been there for a number of years and are highly skilled opticians and very patient to work with. They work hard to make sure you are seeing well and satisfied with the fit of your glasses. I recently purchased progressive lenses in Modo frames and although I am not 100% sold on the prescription they are helping me to get the frames to fit properly by tweaking them and encouraging me to be patient as my eyes adjust. I highly recommend this practice.

All the people at Evanston branch are very courteous and professional.They do listen, explain in detail, and try their best to accommodate whatever request you may have. The technician spent a lot of time testing with various methods. The optometrist measured my eyesight very accurately and gave me good advice on eye care. As a result, my new eyewear is just perfect and so comfortable I can wear it all day long. Highly recommend this place.

The staff and doctor couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. The only complaint I have is the glasses themselves. It was not time for insurance to fund new glasses, and the clerk was very helpful when it came to y budget concerns. However, the glasses I got are small, and I find that I have to take the glasses off to read some print, and though the doctor felt he could get me to 20/20 vision, I am misreading numbers until I take the glasses off.This is not with all reading and all typefaces: it just happens a few times a day (I read a lot). Kind of wish someone would have eased me toward larger frames, if this is indeed a usual sort of problem. I’ve never had this issue before.
