Terrible customer service. Glasses were ordered and paid for. The due date came and went. The staff did not take responsibility for the delay. They blamed the shipping process. Had to make repeated calls. Calls were never returned. Finally after repeated efforts, they claimed they had re-orderd the glasses (without informing us or offering a discount or refund) but had not bothered to expedite shipping. When urged, they said they would bask for a rush from their lab. Pathetic and lazy.

Super friendly staff. The doctor was very thorough and awesome with my daughter and extremely patient and understanding with my 2yo son who has a ton of energy...he gets into everything. Called toward the end of the day and was still seen. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing experience.Have used this location for years but had not been here in about three years. The clerk and manager were extremely rude and poor communicators.When I arrived for my appointment the door was being held open by a clerk. I stopped just outside, was wearing a mask, and did not try to come in.The clerk raised her voice and demanded I step back. I did, wondering what was going on. She asked if I had an appointment. Yes, I did. She ran through a litany of CDC guidelines, which I listened to.She told me to hold out my hands. I did. As she pumped the Purell into my hands she asked if I minded her doing so. I said it was a little late now. She immediately ran through the CDC litany again and I rubbed my hands together and held them up to show her it was no problem.Her manager appeared and rushed to the door asking, Is there a problem? The clerk said I was refusing the Purell. I started to say I was not, but the manager interrupted me, saying she did not feel comfortable with me coming in. She repeated the CDC guidelines.By now Id had enough and held up my hands again and said I didnt need this, that I would happily go elsewhere.The manager said some derogatory remark as I was leaving that convinced me they do not know what they are doing and definitely dont know how to treat customers, or truly care for people during a pandemic.My advice; stay away and youll have a much better experience.

I went here for four years with no issues. This year I went in for an eye exam, they wouldnt give me a contact prescription. They wanted me to come back after week for a follow up. I said that wasnt necessary and I would order the contacts that day. They refused so I came back the following week. I came wearing glasses, not knowing you needed to be wearing the contacts for this appointment. No mention of this whatsoever so they wanted to reschedule the appointment AGAIN. I said no I will order the contacts today. The receptionist said she would leave a note for the doctor and they would call me at another time. This makes no sense. I went ahead and ordered my contacts through 1800contacta. Best decision I ever made. Do not go here unless you have extra time to kill with return trips.

I have been going here for years and the staff is wonderful. And I love the selection of glasses they have. I will continue to visit and purchase my eyeglasses and contacts here! I also really like the eye doctors - they are very nice, professional and just really good at their jobs!

Shocked at all the low ratings. I cant say enough good about the customer support here. Managers went out if their way to ensure best value and lenses in my new glasses. No hesitation when I changed lenses based on personal preference after original lenses were made. Great selection and prices too.

ZERO STARS. This is hands down the worst customer service and operated business. They not only repaired everything WRONG they also lost a pair of extremely expensive glasses and didnt even apologize. DO NOT USE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!

The manager of the Evanston facility, Jennifer, resolved problems I was having with the necessity to update my new prescription and send my new glasses back to the lab which meant that I would be without them for some time. Long story short, Jennifer stepped in and creatively came up with a resolution. I left grateful for the care given to me.

I ordered two pairs of bifocals, one for distance, one for computer, both with reading bottoms. The two came back with different reading prescriptions.After a re-exam and re-order the two reading lenses were fine, but the distance and computer lenses were both distance; I can read the computer better without glasses than with them.Im going to ask for a refund and go somewhere else.

Dishonest and unprofessional. I went in for an eye exam presented my insurance was informed after asking that they were in fact in network.Only to find out that they were NOT in network. After the exam I was asked to pay $70. I asked once again if they were in network, and she said yes again. Typically eye exams are free and stupidly I paid since the service was done after being lied to twice about then being in network after having my insurance card scanned.Had I previously known before going into the exam that I would’ve been charged and that they were actually NOT in network I would never had agreed to the exam.It is highly recommended that you do more research so you don’t end up out of $70 for a free exam!!

The eye doctor is very good and nice, but some people working in the counter is not good, they need to attend the seminar on customer relation. Worth $700 for my prescription glasses, I paid Cash. But at least they gave me a free small towel to clean my eyeglass. The price is too high, and poor quality materials they use.

Though wasnt thrilled by the $350 pricetag of new glasses (after insurance!), I have to admit that the sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Nice selection of glasses. I didnt take advantage of their buy one get one free sale as its sort of a scam (or at least a ploy) as its only free *frames* - the lenses are a separate price which is usually most of the total cost.

0% HUMANITY... 100% CORPORATE NEGLIGENCE...I want to start by saying that my family and I have been devoted customers to this place for over a decade (new glasses, contact lenses, yearly appointments, etc.) and they always seemed professional.That being said... they lack humanity and common decency. The other day, my father was in urgent need of seeing an optometrist after getting construction debris in his left eye. He showed up 15 minutes before closing hours for an EMERGENCY EYE EXAM (Most optometry offices offer emergency services) and went to see the receptionist. He was given a corporate-style spiel (would have to wait 3 days to get an appointment) while the on-the-clock optometrist was having a very humorous conversation with a coworker.He ended up spending an extra 18 hours in dire pain due to their negligence. It would have taken the optometrist less than 5 minutes to spot that he had a shard of glass embedded in his cornea. The next day he visited a competitor down that street that immediately helped him and sent him to a specialist to remove the shard.Imagine having to sleep with glass in your eye due to the laziness of people you have been visiting FOR YEARS!We will never revisit this cesspool of self-righteous doctors who have no empathy for their patients.

Came here for an eye exam which was fine except having to wait 20-30 minutes after my appointment time. Then when I went over to see the glasses section, the prices were insane. I have a strong prescription and they wanted to charge 300+ for the lenses alone, even with my insurance. They also wouldnt combine any sort of discount or sale they had on frames with insurance. Went to Costco instead and got the lenses (same refractive index and coatings) with frames for less than 80 dollars after insurance. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and do the same.

They put the wrong lens in my glasses and never apologized. Then they sent them back to the lab and after waiting 2 weeks, they told me my $350 pair of sunglasses was damaged in the lab. Very bad customer service!

Came into get glasses and contacts. The process ended up being unnecessarily long and painful. The doctor rushed the eye exam, the sales staff could not answer questions about the differences in lenses, and were very pushy about writing them a good review after they made little effort to fix their mistakes. I also tried having my glasses adjusted many times by the staff and ended up going somewhere. The new place got it on the first try and actually look at the spots that were bothering me and explained what they were going to do before bending my expensive glasses all out of shape. Save your time, money, and effort and go elsewhere.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went there out of convenience. I should have looked at their reviews. Most reviews give them 1 star!. At this point, I think they don’t care how many bad reviews they receive because they are worse than 1 star.In particular, stay away from the sales associate in her late 20s, big round face, and brown hair. She is rude and arrogant. She doesn’t try to solve problems. The bifocals she made for me required to me read type so close to my face that it basically touched my nose. She said that is how reading glasses are - lie! Total waste of time and money. After a very upsetting interaction with her that broke down because of her attitude, she said in a super snarky and sarcastic way as I walked out of the store, “Have a nice day.” My stomach twisted like I had just looked at vomit. Very nasty and passive aggressive. Who needs it? She should be reprimanded or out right fired. There are lots of better Optical’s. Go someplace else and let this sick excuse for a store close before it causes more damage.

Horrible customer service with service from Mark wrong product order which resulted in trying to reach the manager who is never available when I did try to reach her Jessica had a horrible attitude and didnt make it right for me. She insisted that I the paying customer is WRONG and doesnt know what Im talking about. Instead Im forced to go elsewhere to fix my glasses and use up valuable time of mine and my families money to buy new frames after frames being ruined by each and every associate that works there. I am not happy and will go elsewhere in the future. Jessica and Mark please fix attitude and help customers instead of lying and making me the problem.

Terrible service! Got a pair of glasses that broke in less than a year and they refused to stand behind their work. The frame around d the lens sit. First claimed the glasses werent purchased there until my husband showed them the glasses case they lived in when not being worn. Then they claimed they werent prescription. We have the ophthalmologists prescription. Real run around. Never going back and would recommend everyone else avoid them!

Doctors caring wonderful. Most staff ok. Not thrilled with customer service. They have wrong info in computer. A staff mbr gave me a hard time to tighten the arms on my new glasses. She s lazy and arrogant. Their glasses are pricy and will break instantly

Bad service. Place is full of unprofessionalism.
