Eye exam spring 2020 went well with the Dr however picking glasses and getting the bifocal position correct was a whole other experience. I think a lot of it was due to Covid and distancing to the overall atmosphere but I just didnt seem welcome and the staff was irritated in that I had to keep getting new lenses because the bi-focals werent high enough for computer use which I initially explained. I even had my old pair of glasses for comparison which were correct.I was also surprised at the high cost. Even though I had insurance for glasses, my out of pocket came to the same cost as I paid at Walmart w/o insurance. I was told I could not apply discounts with my type of insurance and that I didnt qualify.Due to having the glasses re-made three times which led to approx two months waiting for a pair of $400 glasses that I still hate today and dont wear, I will never return here.I give 2 stars for the good doctor and for Covid being an issue.

Where to start, impatient Dr. who did not take the time to answer my questions and dismissed me. Unprofessional staff who rushed my children through and we ended up getting the improper size glasses and they cannot fix this concern. Contacts mislabeled, right and left eye mixed up. Justina should not be in a service position. Had to change here due to my insurance. Will look for a different provider.

Staff were friendly. I went in to get my vision checked (obviously). I entered the exam room to a strong smell of her lunch. I nearly choked as what she had was something that made me want to gag.During the exam, she gave no editorial on what part of my vision she was examining (like this series of tests is for your distance etc. She was very quick and before I knew it I was out the door of the exam room ordering glasses that I didn’t know I needed. I asked one of the assistants if I actually need glasses? I didn’t get an answer. Then, even with insurance, I walked out with over $600 for two pair. I still don’t know if I need glasses!Yes, I realized after the exam I should have written down questions to ask during the exam but a Dr should explain what they are doing and why.I was also not taught how to care for my glasses. After only 4 months they are scratched etc due to cleaning them incorrectly! Too late now! I suppose I should have looked online for proper glasses cleaning instructions.Yes, shame on me too for not stepping up until now but I believe I was rushed through, no explanations and now have lenses that are horribly scratched!I can say the safety glasses I got are great, love those! They also had to adjust the lenses as the reading focus on the bottom was only viewable at the Last 8th of an inch. It’s still not right but I just have to slide the glasses up and down my nose to see close up and far away.

Ive never been to Visionworks before, and I have to say they had amazing customer service when I went! They were happy to show me plenty of pairs of lenses that they offer, and were detailed in letting me know their specials and options. I worked with Traci and Maddie at this one and both were super friendly, professional and courteous. Will definitely be going back next time I need a new pair of glasses!

The customer service is second to none. I had Maddie assist me with my glasses and contacts orders. She fit my glasses just perfect! She was very kind, courteous and professional/knowledgeable. I would defiantly recommend Visionworks to anyone that needs glasses and/or contacts.

About a year ago, I had a exam by the Doctor,she seemed in a hurry, she appeared to be inpatient during the exam, I also paid for the digital eye scan and the Doctor never went over the results with me. I work at a very busy downtown hospital, we may be in a hurry, but we still take time with our parents. The front week day staff however was very kind. Weekend staff not nice. Ill never go back.

Easily one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had ANYWHERE! Friendly, knowledgeable staff that were fun to talk with! Thank you, ladies!Update: went for an annual exam and the staff was fantastic in terms of handling how busy it was and being incredibly sanitary due to COVID. Ellie was super helpful, fun, and has such a great personality! ☺️

I recently purchased glasses at vision works. I was skeptical at first with the negative reviews, but talked to Amy and she assured us that things would be fine with her can-do attitude. Plus she was able to get us in the same day for eye exams. First of all the optometrist was excellent. My wife and I really liked her. She was thorough and patient. Very nice lady. The staff at Vision works were really great and helpful, especially Amy and David. Amy helped me find the perfect glasses and the type of lenses that I wanted and helped me pick out a pair of prescription sunglasses. David has a great sense of humor and patiently worked on the billing part of things. I got my glasses in a little over a week. I am really happy with the two pair of glasses that I purchased and happy with the experience overall.

They are very accommodating, I was there with my young children. We were treated like family. Employees are very helpful and friendly. The selection was plentiful. The staff appeared very knowledgeable and answered (or found the answer) my questions. I will go there again.

Justina or whatever her name was has no place working in retail. I called to get my prescription transferred to the maple grove location because apparently visionworks arent connected and this lady had the audacity to tell me she will get to it when she can as Im already on my way to maple grove. Here it is an hour and thirty minutes later and she still hasnt sent it. When there was literally no one in the store at elk river. Joke.

I recently had an eye exam and contact lens fitting with Dr Blenker. I have been wearing contact lenses since high school and this is the best pair I have ever had! I was able to try different brands until I found one that was the most comfortable and where I see the clearest. The sales person who sold me my contacts was very friendly and helpful as well. I will definitely be returning to this location.

My son and I had an appointment at VisionWorks on November 2, 2019.We had a very pleasant experience. The staff is AMAZING.They were very knowledgeable and helpful.The young woman whom had assisted with the eye exam was terrific. Explained the health questionnaire wonderfully.The doctor that did our eye exam was wonderful. She explained everything regarding our eyes, and prescription that we needed.Traci Xurvein who had helped us with our glasses selections, went over the options that go along with your lenses, is extremely knowledgeable in her field. She answered all of our questions and has a pleasant & outgoing personality.

After waiting for too long to get a new prescription and glasses, the team at Elk River Visionworks gave me all the help I needed and treated me with respect and professionalism. In particular, Kalinda and Dr. Julie Blenker were great to work with. I highly recommend this store and will surely go there again to meet my future vision needs.

I had my dad go there for an eye appointment with my younger sister to help interpret . They both became very uncomfortable because the eye doctor kept rolling her eyes at them the entire time. Not sure if it was because of the language barrier but that was definitely unprofessional on her part. Wouldn’t recommend this place anymore .

Were friendly enough when my husband and I went into the store for our eye exams and placed an order for glasses for each of us, but have been let down ever since. My husband received his glasses but I have yet to receive mine. No one has an answer for me as to where mine are either. I was assured by the manager that she wld look into the problem......but low and behold that has yet to happen. Feeling very let down, disappointed and irritated. Wont be giving them anymore of my business. Classic case of over promise..... under deliver, a practice no business should follow.Update: my glasses were 2 and a half weeks late, BUT the manager did go out of her way to resolve the issue. She did end up going above and beyond. The normal site that makes the glasses in Texas wasnt getting them done for whatever reason so she contacted a place in the cities to make them, which they did in 1 day, and drove to Minneapolis to personally pick them up so I didnt have to wait any longer. On top of that, she upgraded my lenses to scratch resistant and no glare for me for free. I call that good service and making a bad situation better.

Best glasses buying experience Id ever had. Shaelin was a sweetheart. Eye doctor got to know me and understood my needs perfectly. Had a hard time getting the women in my life to help pick out my frame style and Heather stepped up, making me feel cared for and leaving me incredibly satisfied with my frame choice. Havent worn contacts since!Glasses showed up slightly sooner than anticipated and I received a pleasant phone call right away. I thoroughly appreciate these ladies.

We went for our annual eye exams. Dr. Blenker did an amazing job with our eye exams. She gives a thorough exam and is still efficient. She listened to the concerns I had and addressed the issues. I have never had that during an exam. We will always go back to Dr. Blenker for our annual exams. The staff is very friendly and did a great job helping my picky daughter pick out glasses.

I purchased a pair of glasses at vision works. Unfortunately, the person helping hardly new their job. My lens prescription was not correct for the size and shape of the lens. After several trips and attempts to correct, I had to change vision works stores. This did not make much difference as the new frames did not fit and after being told they could not correct, they heated the frames to bend. The glasses broke on both sides exactly where they were heated. When trying to return, I was told the frames were discontinued and there was nothing they could do. Six total trips to two different locations only to be out hundreds of dollars and no working glasses. I would not recommend.

I had my eyes checked there maybe a year and a half ago,I was upset about the way the doctor spoke to me , thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but after my 6 yr old had headaches and dizziness issuees we took him to our pediatrician,who then ordered an eye exam before any further testing. We got him in right away that same morning , which was exciting because our main eye clinic is booked out a few weeks. My husband brought him there and the front desk staff was incredible, so kind and sweet, very helpful, they are so wonderful at what they do this review does not reflect them in the least. The doc walked in late with her head down didnt say anything to anyone, was short and ubrupt to them, his phone was on silent and his smart watch dinged (from me texting out of concern ) and she sniped at him to shut it off. She was rude the two times we had to sneak in and its not even worth it! I have ordered my contacts online since so I dont have to deal with her, respect and kindness are the guts of how anyone should treat ANYONE , no matter what degree you have, I am never going back it iscosworth waiting the extra time to go anywhere else.

I asked them to put a different pair of lenses in my new sunglasses and they cracked one of the lenses. They have a no liability policy but its still a major disappointment, luckily the original seller was fine with replacing them.

Horrible experience. Was told my contacts would be in within 3 days and I would get a call when they arrive. Never got a call so I called finally 6 days later and yep they were in. I received an apology and told it wouldnt happen again.When I tried the contacts, they needed to be adjusted, so they had to reorder them. The eye doctor told me himself it would take a maximum of 3 days to arrive and I would get a call. I waited 9 days this time and never got a call. I contacted the store and they said they had just came in that day. I asked her why the doctor would say 3 days maximum and she didnt have an answer. I will not be returning here after I receive my prescription.

Never, never buy eye glasses in this store, the customer services is too bad, they dont know what they talk.I had order lenses there and when i called them to check the status they put me on hold for about 30 mins and then came back told me they are working on and will call you when its done and i did not call at all. Next day I called them again some other guy said no one worked on it and it may take 1 week to get the lenses and I have to pay more than what I was told in the beginning. This is horrible store ...

Terrible customer service, customer service reps are not up front on costs associated with glasses. I ordered sunglasses, went to pick them up and they were clear lenses, not sunglasses, and I was told I had to pay another $70 to make that happen. Will never give them my business again.

It is extremely frustrating that you cannot contact the store. I am waiting for silicone nose pads to arrive and there is no way to find out other than to drive there. It is 35 minutes each way.
