I’ve been getting my hair done by Ghazala for over 10 years now and she’s absolutely amazing. She’s an incredible stylist and colorist with an eye for color and detail. The services at Impressions are professional and well priced. I love getting pampered here and highly recommend it to my friends and family.

The prices are really good as compared to other salons in the area. I have seen the lower rating reviews from the past, but from my experience and my family and friends who go there, its a great salon, they have worked on keeping it professional and clean. Owner and staff are very kind, the staff is very diverse. I would recommend the salon to others, its always a great feeling supporting a small business! My usual is getting my hair cut and threading and walking over to get a delicious pizza slice from mancinis right next door!

I’ve been coming to this salon for years now and couldn’t see myself going anywhere else! Absolutely trust them for my haircuts, even brought the family! This is an amazing business that allows for self expression and employs great people.

Went in to get my eyebrows threaded and isha did a great job. Very clean and quick, also if you’re a male looking for a place to get threaded this is the place. Great experience overall

I’d give them 0 stars if I could. My sister and I went to them for waxing and the woman waxing seemed in a massive rush the entire time. She wasn’t wearing a mask. She dropped the stick on the floor and proceeded to use that to continue waxing. The room was nasty with hair everywhere on the bed. They got wax in my sisters hair, on her clothes and on her shoes and told her it’ll come out with water (def didn’t). Poor service, sloppy work, and no regard for hygiene. Avoid at all costs.We were told by the owner they can’t provide quality service for low price point.Edit - in response to owners comments: the price we were offered for FA, FL, UA for coming on mon/tues/wed was $50, there was no haggling, the owner agreed on $50 for the three things, and if I am not utilizing the 3 services, that amount does not make sense. The owner did offer another appointment but after bad experiences for both of us, we didnt feel comfortable utilizing the offer.

I’ve been going to this salon for years. At first just for Keratin. Then highlights. And now cuts. I moved from the area but Gazala does such a good job that it’s worth the trip. Service is great, timing is on point. Staff always friendly .

WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!! I went in and no one welcomed me and they continued working even though they saw me and my mom come in. I waited for 45 minutes until I had to call someone over. The lady wrote down the appointment wrong and she kept yelling across the store to find someone to do me and my mom’s hair because the lady who was originally going to do it said she had other customers. Another lady proceeded to tell me that one of the employees could do our hair but she said she wasn’t professional and that she “could try”. When I had enough of their bad treatment me and my mom went out the door as the two ladies gave us a dirty look even though they weren’t professional at all. Definitely recommend NOT going there at all.

One word- RAZIA! She is the best!!! I don’t trust anyone with my eyebrows but her. She’s always professional, friendly and super welcoming as soon as I walk in. She knows exactly what I want. I get so many compliments on my eyebrows all thanks to her! She is just simply the best!

I love this salon! I used a Groupon for eyelash extensions. I called and was able to get an appointment right away. Everyone was friendly! I have beautiful lashes now! Quick and simple! They are clean and the salon offers so much at great prices. Definitely recommend :)

Amazing place for guy haircuts. Michael is an amazing barber and I have been coming here for years now. My entire family comes to this salon to get their hair done. My sister just got the keratin treatment today and she looks amazing. I also get my nose waxing here usually and tons of people come for their eyebrows.

I walked in to the salon to do my eyebrows at 6:01 pm and sat there till 6:10 p.m. Not even one person welcomed me or asked me what I am here for or even tell me we are busy right now;Are you able to wait? Basically did not even welcome me as customer or cared to ask why I am there..very very bad customer service.

I love this place! This has to be my to go salon for my eyebrows and henna tattoos!! My favorite lady is Saroj because she takes her time on doing my eyebrows. Definitely recommend this salon for anybody that likes to get treated like a queen/king!

The worst service I have ever get, I went to get my eyebrows and face done and one of them were like I am too tired and the other lady said she is not in the mood for full face today even when they are more expensive than any other hair salon in East Brunswick and they also very rude.Don’t ever go there, there are way better places in East Brunswick and cheaper.

Booked an appointment with them. This would be my first time coming into the salon. They call me the day of to let me know that they double booked and will not be able to accommodate me unless I wait. I needed my hair done by a certain time. They should have just told me upfront they could not take me so I would have been able to find a place that could take me. Now I don’t have an appointment for my hair( it’s almost impossible to make a hair appointment without any notice). Very unhappy and unsatisfied.

I love the personal attention given by Ghazala I have been coming here a few years and never once was I disappointed. She s the only hair dresser that listens so attentively to what it is you want to have done. Ghazala is just amazing, and I will never go anywhere else!

I have been a regular customer to Impressions for the last couple of years ever since I moved to NJ. They have always been friendly and nice. I have done my facials and eyebrows with both Heena and Saroj. I would make sure I do facials, wax and eyebrows with them even when I have travel plans. Michael did haircut to my son and he loves it. Im new to the area and needed eyebrow threading.NEVER AGAIN will i go to Impressions.First of all the place was dirty. Just dusty and disorganized.Girl at the desk no hello how can i help you nothing. I asked for eyebrow threading and she said you can go back.The threading itself was not very good. I had to come home and reshape them.And if all of that wasnt bad enough someone had a little kid in the salon running around screaming and hollering. Look - when I go to the salon I want peace not chuck e cheese.I dont recommend this place at all.

Best place to do your facial and eyebrows. Look for Heena and Saroj, They will take a good care of you. Very friendly and professional. They are so caring, always wants to make you happy. If you’re looking for a good service check this place out!

Very upset customer.Will never go there again or recommend to anyone.My hair was damaged and is still falling out after stripping the color. The colors that resulted were nowhere near the original color I asked for. Claimed they “forgot” to cut my hair but charged me full amount we agreed on. After washing my hair and seeing the extent of the damage I asked for a partial refund because I was scared to let them touch my hair again and the answer was sorry no.At least refund me for that you didn’t do. Still no. I was told come back and we will re color and cut. But considering how disappointed I am with the extent of the damage done to my hair I wasn’t going to let them touch it again with either color of cut.I did go someone else to color over my hair but the damage is very extensive and will just have to wait till it all grows out.

Worst experience ever!! Would never go again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My friend has been going to them for a while, they’re not even good but they’re just close from her house. Last time she went, I was with her and the lady there was VERY rude!! My friend has thick facial hair and wanted to do a full face threading, the woman there literally said “Find me another customer I’m not doing full face” then the other lady told my friend to have a seat just to come back to her 5 mins later saying “I don’t feel like doing a full face either, I am tired” pointing at the door for my friend to leave!! Never witnessed something more rude in my life. The manager was watching all throughout and didnt say a word, he doesn’t even seem to know how to control his employees.

Absolutely the best place for waxing/threading. They do the best work, extremely thorough and careful and so reasonably priced. Staff is very nice too.

Heena is such a great employee at the salon. Since I met her the first time, she did satisfactory work. I was impressed and satisfied. I finally found someone who did a good job. She is a great person at heart and she always has a smile on her face. It doesnt matter how tired she is, she works until the end and she is a hard worker. She is friendly and she keeps up a good conversation. Whenever I go to this salon, I always go to Heena. She is the best! I give her a thumbs up every time. Good job Heena!

If the man behind the reception counter was hired to make potential new clients feel unwelcome and leave at once, then he his doing a MARVELOUS job and he deserves a raise! He is unpleasant beyond belief.

$25.00 dollars for a haircut and eyebrow threading?! You can’t beat that. Both the ladies who work here did an amazing job on my hair and eyebrows. I’ll be coming back!

I walked in and asked how much full face wax would cost, and the said $22I asked to have my eye brow area only to be waxed, and she told me that would be $25As I was paying at the door, they counted it all for $27 and asked for tip.I get the same exact thing dome at Roma Beauty Salon on Milton for $23 with tip.

The one eyebrow threading woman totally chopped the end of the eyebrow and took way too much hair out. So one eyebrow was longer than the other. She then proceeded to gang three people on me to tell me I was wrong. I showed the one woman pictures of what my eyebrows look like and she had the nerve to tell me I colored them in. I never colored my eyebrows in a day in my life I love my eyebrows. I was so disgusted I walked out. Never going there again. Thank god.

He was ripping my hair off and pulling my hair out, and my hair was shedding like crazy, he is extremely rude and has zero patience, wants to finish in fifteen minutes because he has other customers or victims I should say!!! Simply He doesnt know what he is doing, So if you want to damage your hair go to Michael. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

I love to go here for my haircut! Michael does my hair when I go in there. Ive never gotten my eyebrows threaded here but I see the results of others and I would recommend it.

I had a very bad experience. I asked for the full face and I waited for a long time while they did other people’s eyebrows even people who came after me and I still waited. Then, both ladies said they weren’t in the mood to do a full face and made me leave. Very bad I don’t recommend going there.

Saroj and Razia are the most amazing ladies!! My eye brows always come out on point! I have been going with them for years especially Razia when she first was in the East Brunswick Mall!! Definitely 5 stars ! They are the sweetest ladies ever !!

Its just an average salon. I went there for hair color. One old lady did coloring which turned out to be no color for my grey hairs and then she did it twice stating that my hairs were hard, dry and curly and I needed to color my hair regularly to cover my grey hairs. It was annoying that her job is to color hair not to comment on my hair when I didnt ask. And the color washed out in just 3-4 washes. Will not go there again and would not recomment to anyone, but I was surprised with all such wonderful reviews. Im just thinking either parlor owner is quite good in publishing her own reviews.
