I had a spinal fusion when I went in. Dr. Voss and Dr. Carpenter did a fantastic job. My scar looks amazing considering the size of it. The nurses were SOOOOO amazing and kind and helpful. The whole staff was amazing. If I ever have to have a procedure done again, I wouldnt hesitate to go back! Thank you for your hospitality and kindness ❤

The Labor and Delivery department are excellent at what they do. Whether it was my designated nurse(s) or other nurses each and every one that entered my room were so compassionate and informative.Each check they did they were so sweet and never left me questioning what was next. Anything I needed they were so helpful and promptly accommodated me during the most vulnerable time of my life.There are nurses who just get the job done and then there are these amazing beings who do their work from the heart.Im incredibly lucky to have had them help me bring our girl into the world. If you get to have either Courtney H. Or Kayla E. As your nurses, you and your baby are truly in the best of hands.Thank you for everything you do.

I went there for an induction. The nursing staff was super attentive to me and my husband during our stay. I was treated with so much care and felt like I was a priority to them, not just another patient. It was a beautiful birthing experience. Im very grateful to have had the opportunity to deliver my child here.

I was helped so fast when I came in and could not breathe. Even though I had to stay in ER for 17 hours. I was a ICU hold bed and they were no need up stairs I still had excellent care and attention. From the XRay tech to the housekeeping when I was upstairs. Dr Tan was awesome.

The medical staff were all wonderful and very eager to help me heal and get better! I would suggest that the ER try some veins other than the inner elbow when starting an IV… especially when there’s a high chance of being admitted. Also, the patient rooms need mini fridges/freezers for added convenience. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay!

I was treated so well while I was staying in the icu. I had some really good Drs and nurses who were so very attentive. From the min I walked into er I felt comfortable and cared for. My er nurse Candice took wonderful care of me step by step till my addmittence. My icu staff.. Katie,Lilli,Nazah,Calli and my most favorite Michael who were with me from the very beginning. Some days were totally awful but a great staff made things much easier to deal with. My surgin did an amazing job and my wonderful Dr Cynthia woodham who got me through one of the hardest things Ive had to face. I thank you all for the amazing job each and everyone has a special place in my heart.

The care I received at Flowers Hospital during my gastric sleeve was second to none. The Nurses are kind and knowledgeable. I was taken care of by the best.

We are so thankful for everyone who has been apart of taking care of our baby boy. We thank God for putting caring and diligent nurses in our path to recognize something was wrong after delivery and get him the care he needed. We are forever grateful for the staff here at Flowers Hospital.

I was surprised to have to stay in the hospital for 6 days so I was down. But the love and care plus personality of the nurses made it much better. You have an awesome staff of nurses. Very personable. The food was pretty good. I was on a light carb diet so the food would had been better if I would have had a regular diet.

I recently went here for a catscan. I thought the staff was very professional. The woman helping in the register office was prompt and friendly. The nurses and techs with the catscan were very professional and friendly. When I was in the waiting room with radiology my wait was not long at all. I have no complaints. I have been seeing in the reviews negative comments about the registration process I guess they have improved because I saw nothing wrong with the service and was very pleased with my visit.

Everyone was absolutely lovely when I had my surgery done. These folks are truly concerned about their patients and do what they can to ensure the process goes as smoothly as possible.

The labor and delivery team were nothing short of amazing. My nurse was Kelly I’ll never forget her. The after care team was not so good my only complaint was the second night wasn’t as pleasing. I was in pain from 9:20pm- 3:30am w/o meds. ( I had a c section) My husband and I made several calls for help all were ignored during that time frame. The nursery was phenomenal as well my baby was safe, and well taken care of when I needed them they were always there. My overall experience as a first time mom with labor and delivery & nursery 5 stars, w/ after care 3 stars.

Another spine (hopefully my last) surgery at Flowers Hospital, my PREFERRED treatment center. From pre-op registration to the day of discharge, I dont think there is a hospital out there that could do it better! Every aspect is seamless and the staff... what can I say? Everyone is professional, courteous, helpful and they go above and beyond to make you feel like... you belong there! The Joint Replacement Center and staff are fantastic. And lastly to all the angels 😇 (they call them Nurses) that cared for me, Thank You for putting up with me... again!

The staff in labor and delivery, recovery, staff in the nursery, doctors, and even the kitchen staff was friendly and took great care of me and my baby girl during our time of stay and help ease my anxiety. I couldnt of asked for a better experience, and out of all 3 of my daughters this was hands down by far the best experience Ive had. I was well educated on not only how to do things while there but thing to look for and/or expect after we go home and what to do if they accur an whos best to contact if issues do accur. They made sure I had everything I need to take care of my baby while there and the 1st day or 2 at home, and they were very tentative to my health care needs as well. They were extremely patient, kind, and professional. I look forward to having future children with this wonderful team.

The doctor and nurses where amazing especially the doctor. I did not like the hospital itself. The food was terrible and I felt like I was in jail.

These people are crooks!!! My daughter had ear tubes put in and we were told that they had done the precert with the insurance for approval. 14 months after surgery we get the full bill and are told by our insurance they did not do the precert and if they could show where they did they would pay. The hospital admitted to not doing and tried to blame the doctors office. We made monthly payments to pay off our part of $900 they told me they set up to send statements so we could do this. The next month we get a call from a collections agency they turned it over to. Crooks!!! They overcharge and don’t do their job!

They saved my life the last time that I was there. My only concern is that Im really dehydrated and I came home that way. Other than that, no problems.

My grandmother had a lengthy stay and our nurse Jennifer was amazing! She took care of my grandmother as if it were her own and our family truly appreciates her hard work. Jennifer remained kind, prompt, and understanding throughout the whole process. I loved how forward and seriously she explained everything and helped me! She deserves a raise because I know she went above and beyond for my family with grace the entire time.

I went to south east medical first with symptoms of a heart attack and was told nothing was wrong with meNot trusting them I then went to Flowers and they admitted me right away Thank god for their knowledge and professionalism I can’t say enough good about the weekend staff in ccu they were all soKind and friendly and explained things to me and what to expect next. Special thank you to nurse Sharon she wasdefinitely was very comforting and patientWith all my questions . The world needs more nurse Sharon’s for sure

I dealt with more of the labor and delivery floor being 30 weeks & sick. I went in on Saturday & left Sunday. I was positive for strep and negative for covid (at that time). I had 3-4 different nurses , I seen the doctor once who advised a antibiotic & fluids and check on me in the morning. I never received the iv fluids , found out my covid test wasn’t taken to the lab almost an hour after them completely the swab , I puked my antibiotics and asked for something for Neasua they handed me a alcohol swab and told me to just smell it .. I vomited in the bed.. I didn’t have a “official” hospital band. I had a hand made sharpie one. I left Sunday morning with a shot and follow up monday. My nurse in the morning was amazing. The doctor was not pleased when he found out iv wasn’t administered and I vomited my antibiotics.. monday at the office I was Covid positive and sent to the er immediately for low pulse ox to get over there and the er seemed irritated I was even there. They sent me up to l&d where I was given. A transfusion and sent home. Me personally I was not pleased with my care but I am alive and here so counts I reckon.

I stayed here 3 nights in maternity and recovery. The nurses were amazing! They were very attentive and eager to help with anything I needed. They made me feel very cared for and kept me informed with new information. The food was great. I could tell I was in good hands with the doctors and anesthesiologist as well. I appreciated that everything was discussed with me before it happened . I also really enjoyed the nursery option and that there were specialists to help me with specific needs. I would recommend this hospital to anyone!

I was treated nicely and cared for. Everything was explain to me when I asked. If they had to explain something they made sure that I understood.When calling for a nurse with the call button, they answered quickly and came to take care of my need. I would recommend this hospital to everyone.

The service on 6th floor is horrible it was one lady that was really sweet nd caring her name was Tersa but the rest was so rude nd uncaring went to 4th floor nd all the staff on that floor was amazing i love 4th but everyone on 6th need to be fired but Tersa the nurses dont have no manners at all nd flowers is the best hospital but the service was awful the food was nasty nd the service in the er was awesome also just 6th floor nd they will not help u at all it was bad I want to talk to someone bout this cos its not good on the hospital cos flowers always been the best in Dothan Ala.

My experience with EVERYONE at this facility was awesome. The ER team (Amie Mynard and one other nurse I didnt catch her name) was very open to explaining everything they were doing and what was going on. My surgeon was in my room in less than 45 minutes of me arriving and did a great job explaining my procedure and made me feel very comfortable with her abilities. I was admitted to 4 north all of my nurses Shirley, Cindy Hayes, and Lorie were great (even though they had to come in all through the night/day for assessments and to check on me). My OR team was very informative and professional while still making me feel comfortable with everything going on. The entire Flowers team went above and beyond to make a bad situation a little easier to deal with.

I am in Love with all my nurses who took such good care of me. Praises for Dr. Phipher who saved my foot. Many thanks Doc. Everyone I came I came in contact with was so kind and seemingly for my benefit

My mom had an appointment at 7:15 for a MRI ..we were in the waiting room for over an hour. They need to do better and stop all the socializing. This is a place of business not the local night club...ugh!!!! I have seen people come in after we got here and they called them back... 🤷🏻‍♀️🙇🏼‍♀️

But You Got What You Gave This Morning.

I was admitted in Flowers Hospital on August 20th with covid pneumonia. Upon my arrival I was really scared but I knew I needed the help. I have heard many stories of hospital stays dealing with covid. The 1st was that no family members no friends could visit during ye,re times where our healing process which is hard for anyone. As the days went by, I began to realize thus was real and I actually wanted to be awakened from a bad dream. During my stay the 1st 3 days it was ok and I had to learn to adapt to an entire different environment. There were many nights I 🙏and 😢because everything just seemed so overwhelming. Many nights I barely saw a nurse because of the shortage of staffing. I lye there listening to others screaming out ringing call lights in fear of their lives. I had quite the experience also with no one coming for hours or maybe the next shift. Shifts changed and sometimes I didnt even know who would be assisting or caring for me. The food was good but there were times where I received meals 2 hours later from the time it was supposed to be served. I had to just buckle down and do things on my own because if I didnt I dont know if I would have made it home. There were many times I took a bath at night and the pan water would be left for days. It is so sad how things are now. I was hooked to the iIV and oxygen soni really couldnt maneuver around like I wanted to. My sheets stayed on my bed almost a week before I just finally stripped the bed and the housekeeper assisted me in changing the bed. Many times my bedside commode stayed full and I just had to wait til someone decided or I asked for it to be emptied. Dont get me wrong I understand how it is to be short staffed. I have worked in the Healthcare field well over 15 years. So with that being said, I appreciate the care and my stay but there should be more adjustments so that when a person comes to the hospital they are comfortable and feel they will be helped and not just thrown under the bus or left for dead.Thanks and have a great day🙏

I wish I could leave 0 stars. Flowers Hospital overmedicated one of my family members with pain medicine which caused her to have to go on dialysis. They misdiagnosed one of my other family members with a stomach flu and discharged her when she had in fact had a stroke. This is unacceptable. If you want your family members to stay alive take them somewhere else!

I was neglected bad I had to do without food and water for 18 hrs i was in there 4 days I had 1 bath no razor to shave with you call for the nurse you was lucky they answer I was on the 6th floor when I left on the last day i had to walk out because they had no wheelchair to take me down they didnt change my sheets the whole time I was there they put me on the covid floor the nurses was too busy with them to help those. Who didnt have it a the last day i had a procedure done I stop drinking and eating at 12 midnight on Thurs night b all day Friday I had to without food and water till I came homev18 hrs without food and water i called everybody I could think of there I got the run around lied to hung up on it was a bad experience I told them I was not a pow or I was in jail they could not withholding food and water for me but they did I would not recommend this hospital or its staff to anyone thank God I survived

The staff that helped me Friday night was excellent. Doctors and nurses alike. I have to drive 2 hours to get good health care and Flowers is the place to go. I have already recommend Flowers to friends and family. If I need help again this is where I will go. Thank you very much.

After not finding a bed anywhere, Flowers graciously had one to share. The nurses & all the staff were super attentive & very empathetic towards me. I want to give the nurses on 5th a big shoutout. I had back surgery and the nurses up there are fantastic they make sure you are taken care of. The people from physical therapy are great also.

I have never had bad experience intill this moring I really would like to talked somebody about it I went stress test the tech said his table was not big enough because they could test i am still problems ask about other options I was told just talked my doctor flowers made it right and have taken great care of me right

As a patient recently at Flowers Hospital I was pleased with the exceptional care I received. I felt blessed by the warm and loving care team. I appreciated having nurses, techs, and others who obviously loved what they do. The care I received from the Hospitalist, Dr Nuang was warm and thoughtful. His care and expertise facilitated a nice recovery and my release to return home! Thank you Flowers Hospital!

I have used this place many times. They are a good hospital with a good staff that is willing to help anyone in need.

I had a total knee replacement . On the morning of the surgery I met the nurse who started the I V , He asked if I had any questions he could answer , I was taken from there to holding where I was attended by Pia and Melissa who made me feel at home. Pia explained she would be in contact with my wife during surgery giving updates, from there I was carried into the OR and was introduced to the RNs and the Nurse Anestist Joseph. During recovery I remember seeing Patty and one other Nurse I am sorry but do not remember her name. When I arrived on the 5th floor I had exceptional care from all shifts while there. Brandi , Mikel and Case were instrumental in my care.I cannot say enough for all Staff and Doctors and physical Therapy before being discharged. This has been a very positive experience for me and my wife Martha.

I require a pic line when admitted to hospital due to my veins being tiny deep roles and blows very easily. They refused to put one in and as a result 98%of the usable veins in my arm blew out and when they finally decided to give me a pic line it was to late and they couldnt find a vein to use because they blew them.

Why would the receptionist at the registration desk have the need to ask every person their DOB and what they are here for and repeat it loudly. This is definitely a violation of HIPAA. The people sitting in the waiting room do not need to know why they are here. Not impressed!!

Nursing staff and doctors are amazing theres only one problem that I have with the place I really think they need to check the spelling of peoples names before they write prescriptions and give them peoples last names that dont belong to them and or when a patient is asked to tell them their name they need to spell it out not just assume that thats how they spell their last name because I got a prescription from two weeks ago that I cant feel and Ive reached out and nobody can answer my questions and therefore Im probably going to the doctor this weekend again if it doesnt get any better so Im probably going to end up back up in the hospital because of yalls negligence

I recently had surgery here and aside from a nasty recovery room nurse I couldnt have asked to be taken care of any better. I still give it 5 stars.

I’ve given birth at this hospital twice now and each experience was fantastic. I just had my second baby on 12/10/2020. The labor and delivery staff was kind and knowledgeable and the care I received through my and my baby’s stay was exceptional. Angie (RN) from the nursery was so kind and so gentle when caring for my newborn, my husband and I appreciated her help and guidance until we were discharged. Kelly (RN) in labor and delivery took amazing care of me from the time I arrived until I was transferred to the post-partum recovery ward. My midwife and the attending were great, as well, but the nurses on staff made a true difference in my stay. If we happen to have another baby while living in Enterprise, I will definitely plan to deliver at Flowers again!

NEVER TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE! I’ve been to this hospital on two different occasions about my son who’s 8 months now. The first time was last year in November when they send us home and he had a serious issue (skin rash, high fever) it was on his entire body and spreading and sent us home with nystatin cream when my son actually was diagnosed with a serious condition and we stayed at the medical center for a week! Secondly this year 05/2021 I took him there because he had fever and coughing and shortness of breath, they sent us home again and didn’t even give him anything for his fever! I begged the doctor to take another look at him and she still sent us away... I went to the medical center and they gave him steroids because he was diagnosed with croop! Thank God I went there! Please do not take your children here because they won’t check them properly and they always send them home

Great nurses all around, from L&D, 2S, nursery, and NICU! Tonya, Jennyfer, Kelly, Heather K, Tiffany, Melissa, Brooke, Linda, Ashley, and Mikayla have all been so amazing to us and our little boy! We also appreciate the room and food we have been able to recieve while our son is in the NICU!

VERY poor Hospital. Had a 48 hour EKG put on. Been a week and hadnt got results yet. Had Surgery in 2019 Very under staffed and room was dirty. Us be be a fair small town Hospital but then a Tenn. company bought them and it has gone down ever since. Tenn Company buying out Hospitals and the people in Dothan are paying for it.

Ive been here several times with family members & its a typical hospital...standard pros & cons. However, our most recent stay was quite nice.

The hospital staff top to bottom were not only very professional but also caring, thoughtful, and delightful to have around. I not only appreciate their work ethics but also knowing they were there for me and my welfare and made my stay there with not only the feeling of safety ness but also gave me the feeling that everything was going to get better and they did , I want to thank each and every one and to let them know that air appreciate each and every one of them

Dr Phipher thank God for you you are a genius of a surgeon and I thank you for saving my leg coming up out of surgery I went to CCU woke up to Wonderful Nurse by the name of the Blake she was so so wonderful to me I encountered couple more by the name of Calli and Abby you three deserve Blessings on top of Blesssings for all you done for me I truly thank God. Your The Best !!! I will never forget you!

Was one of the worse hospitalizations Ive ever had.

Was not aware that their anesthesia department does not accept most insurances if any insurances. As well as they don’t give the insurances the discount so the patients are left with a hefty bill after services. This is very misleading, I was there to be induced and under the impression that everything was covered, I paid my copay for the hospital. To my surprise I got another bill from the anesthesia department for over $700 which is more than my copay for the hospital. I tried to call their department and no one answers it goes straight to voicemail. It’s a great hospital just shady business. Would not recommend.

The hospital sucks but the respiratory specialist are super friendly and helpful!

They messed up my surgery and didnt even say sorry or anything just we will have to schedule it again give you time to heal from our mistake.

My son and I had a very bad experience the last time I took him to this e.r. and I said I was never taking him back there.My son has medical conditions and was in severe pain again, this e.r. was the closest one and I was afraid to take him any farther. I have to say this time was a lot better. Our nurse Chuck was absolutely wonderful. He made sure my son was taken care of, he continually checked on him and made sure he was out out pain. Dr Govil was also wonderful. He also showed true care and concern for my son. If Chuck and Dr. Govil had their own office, they would be my sons primary physicians. I cant thank them both enough

I was well taking care of with top quality care and very informed staff that takes the time to make sure that u understand what they are giving u and why and inform u of why and what to expect. This is an excellent hospital with an excellent staffThank U so much for the great care

I fudged up and had my volume down for my alarm the morning I was supposed to arrive and was an hour late. Not only did they still let me come, they took such amazing care of me. Everyone was friendly. Even in the rush they were in, they made me feel comfortable, were thorough, and compassionate. Seriously couldn’t praise them enough.

Worse visit Ive ever had. I dont recommend flowers hospital . I live 5 miles from it but I rather chance making it to another hospital. I went in having a mild stroke and Im a diabetic . Said I couldnt drink anything till nurse found out I could swallow . After she found out I could I still couldnt get anything to drink or dinner , breakfast or lunch . I had to go down to 1st floor myself to get a drink and crackers . The nurses on 6th floor were no good and shouldnt have a job my sugar was so low I thought I was going to pass out before I got to the 1st floor to get me something . Theres more but I dont feel well enough to tex it

This morning, I cannot begin to express my satisfaction with the staff at the Flowers Hospital! I was in immense pain & barely waited minutes before being seen. The staff, from the front door to each person I saw along the way and Dr. Claassen were all very friendly/ helpful. That helped to put my teenage daughter ( my driver to the ED) and myself at ease . I especially loved how Dr. Claassen really took his time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at peace so I highly recommend Flowers Hospital ED for any emergency care you may need! And the nurse, even though I know she was saturated with work, she made every effort to involve my daughter in my care, after she found out that she (my daughter) is going into the medical field. Sincerely, I cant thank anyone of them enough for our visit today. You all made a terrible morning into a peaceful experience and we cant thank each of you enough!Jennifer & Caitlin Darnell

I regretfully took my 15 month old with a fever of 104.8 at 2:30am to this hospital, they checked her ears and throat. Said he wanted to do a chest x ray for pneumonia, a nurse comes in and says she has an ear infection sent me home with antibiotics. What?? So I took her to her pediatrician in 2 days bc her fever still hadn’t broke, she checks her ears and says there is a ball of earwax that she couldn’t see her eardrum. Come to find out NO EAR INFECTION. It was a viral infection Roseola that antibiotics do not clear up. Be careful where you take your children; they are supposed to find out what’s wrong and make us feel better. Not this hospital. Will never go here again.

I used to work here 8 years ago. How things have changed. When entering ER this very pleasant young Lady named Linochia (aka Lynn) greeted me and as I watched her throughout my visit her caring attitude did not change. This is how I remember Flowers Hospital.On the other hand, when Lynn went to lunch an older woman who seemed to have worked there for years. She just seemed to have more experience. But she had no compassion and was very rude to me when I was trying to get a bag to vomit in if I had to. She cut my sentence off and said that they dont treat nausea until seen. I kindly explained. As my mom and I was waiting to be called back, we were sitting in the Triage section with another woman who was waiting for her mom and dad. The woman asked us why where we sitting there. We explained and she told us to sit in lobby. The other woman (white) was not asked to move. As we where waiting to be called a Male nurse named Brandon was talking to ER registration and said that he was going back there to be the Grim Reaper. I was SHOCKED!!! Who wants a nurse who loudly confesses to kill people. Everyone was over worked. I even had to lay in a bed in the hallway. While in the hallway, I heard a nurse mad at another nurse and cursing. I heard an employee come to room 13 and told the woman that was sitting with patient that she get all the results before they come to her. Dont worry cause she knows how the other woman worries.There was so many HIPAA laws broken. I am embarrassed to say I have worked there.

Very helpful nurses & staff, & prompt care at all times of the day & night. I am very happy i chose Flowers hospital for my procedure.

The care from the nursing staff and support staff was impeccable. The care from Doctor Kabir was excellent and he did a very fine job of treating me, explaining my care along the way, and getting me to recovery. Even the kitchen staff and the meals were awesome. Between my wife and I we have had plenty of experiences at flowers hospital and the care is excellent

Everyone was wonderful to me, I just stayed overnight, but they were courteous and attentive while I was there. After the doctor released me, it didnt take all day to get my paperwork and be discharged.

This was the best experience with a hospital ever. Katie and everyone there were very professional and caring. I couldn’t ask for a better staff and facilities. Everything was always clean and fresh. I would recommend Flowers to anyone.

I was so disappointed with the care I received at Flowers from the early shift nurses. The nurses there at night were caring, attentive, and on top of their job. I wish I could remember their names to give them credit. I wont give names of the bad and yes I remember them. They did not do what they said the would. I was in so much pain and asked for ice to go under my knee. I NEVER got it. When it was time for pain meds I get it an hour later. Mind you this is oral medication that takes 30-40 min to feel the effects. There is a printout on the wall about being patient centered and making sure rounds were done hourly. I saw my day shift nurses maybe once the entire shift.... Even when my husband was going to the nurses station to follow up with my calls. This was 5 th floor Ortho. Very, very disappointed.

The labor and delivery staff and 2 South provided outstanding service during our time at Flowers. The staff was excellent and our needs as first time parents exceeded our expectations. Dr. Voss and her team did an amazing job taking care of our family.
