I literally just got my first root canal done on a premolar after 23 years of my life and I can say that Dr. Verraich is awesome, caring, patient, and understanding. During my whole root canal procedure today, he was patient with me and kept asking if Im okay to make sure I was comfortable. Tomorrow I go in for my temporary crown!! Im still numb from the root canal earlier today, but overall Im feeling okay. I recommend this dentist to anyone who has bad anxiety, like me, or anyone who needs a good and cheap root canal specialist with high quality care. Youre in the right hands :)

By far the best dentist Ive ever been to!! So funny and considerate but to be honest even if he was the meanest guy on the planet I would still probably go to him just because he KNOWS what he is doing when it comes to dental work! I had 2 extractions and Dr.V and his team got me out in less than an hour and I healed so fast! Hes amazing and cant recommend him enough!

AMAZING! I came to get my wisdom teeth pulled, all 4 and Dr. Verraich was great and fast with the procedure. He made me sure I was okay every 5min and eased me. I was nervous knowing I would be awake the whole time, but Dr. Verraich made sure I was well taken care of.

The Dentist, at this clinic is perhaps one of the best dentist Ive ever had. He has a way at putting you at ease. Allowing to be relaxed, for any type of procedure. Be it a root canal, filling, cleaning, or extraction. And his office staff are as helpful as can be. Making sure all insurance approval is taken care of before appointments. Everything they do here is pretty top notch. And just recently they added one of those new machines that form Crowns in house. Not having the work being sent to a lab that makes the crown. Can be done right on same visit.😁

The absolutely nicest dental visit Ive ever had. Very friendly kind staff, from the front desk all the way to the doctor. I have issues with needles and the doctor made me very comfortable and his soft spoken manner helped relaxed me more than Ive ever had someone do for me. He removed all four wisdom teeth and had me on my way in less than an hour. I truly appreciate them and the work they do.

I want to start off by saying I never post reviews but after my experience here I just had to write one. The lobby is super gorgeous and clean it also smells so good in there. The front staff was amazing and super friendly I didn’t have to wait a long time once I got checked in. Jackie his assistant was the best I was getting my wisdom teeth pulled DR. Verraich is definitely the best dentist I have ever been too he’s super friendly and makes the experience comfortable for you. When he was pulling my teeth I didn’t feel a thing only a little pressure which is normal he was really quick only took about 30-45 mins he made sure throughout the procedure that I was doing okay and he had great energy/customer service. I definitely recommend coming here you won’t regret it thank you so much Dr. Verraich for giving me such a great experience.

When I scheduled my first appointment here I was nervous as I hadnt been to a dentist in over a year. However the team here has been very kind and helpful with transitioning back to regularly visiting. They are always checking on me to make sure Im comfortable during a procedure. I had insane anxiety and dread about coming to get an impacted wisdom tooth extracted (local anesthesia)I had a very negative prior experience with another dentist. Im talking uncontrollable tears and trembling. Dr. Verraich made all that go away! He was an absolute A N G E L. He put me at ease and was so reassuring. You can trust this man to do the job! He was methodocal and efficient while keeping my experience as painless and comfortable as possible. I was truly so impressed!

Took my 20 year old son Cameron in for a root canal and surprise; he couldnt be happier. I had told him all week (since I had a root canal here previously) that the dentist is competent, it does not hurt and all this fretting is a waste of time. When we left the office he told me everything that I had previously stated....didnt hurt at all.....you could tell that he knew what he was doing....out in 30 minutes......So, if you are nervous like my son; dont be; it will be fine:)

Their schedule confirmation is super annoying. Not only they send multiple text messages requesting for reply for confirmation. Once replied, the office still calls many time until I answer just so they can confirm the appointment. They wont settle for a voicemail. And if i dont response or call back they will cancel the reservation. They dont respect my time and work hours at all.

My husband was seen here about 6 months ago. He had such a wonderful experience after going to a dentist before hand that messed up his mouth not knowing how to pull a tooth. He went here and I went along with my 6 year old and 7 month old. I was a bit worried Id have to wait a while with little ones but seems like by the time I sat down and got comfy he was already done. Fast forward to March. I needed to get 2 wisdom teeth removed and 2 molars. I have bad anxiety with dentists but he made me feel comfortable and got the teeth out pretty quickly. My husband was in the waiting room with our 3 kids and said it went by fast. I would definitely recommend this dentist if you need any dental surgery done.

My experience at this dental clinic was really exceptional considering I was getting 6 teeth taken out at once. The dentist himself was amazing, kind and quick at extracting my teeth. From start to finish took a little over an hour which I thought was pretty amazing since I had 6 teeth taken out.

Wow Dr. V is amazing! I had to get all four of my wisdom teeth pulled and knew it was going to be a very difficult appointment. Dr. V let me take breaks when I needed, was so aware of my pain and anxiety he got me to stop crying when I first sat in the chair. He went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. He took his time and gave me mine to get through this procedure. Dr. V and all his staff were so caring and were all aware of just how tough it was to get my teeth out. He said he had never seen teeth roots so curved before. He said most dentists would not have taken them out. But I am so thankful he did. 10/10 would recommend

I was put in a room overlooking the water and trees while they have piano music playing in the background- made me feel less anxious. To top it off Dr. V is very comforting and fixed my root canal swiftly, Ive had some traumatizing times getting dental work done so overall I was pretty amazed 10/10 would recommend.

As someone suffering from severe anxiety, PTSD, and grieving, I cannot emphasize enough how patient and understanding Dr. Verraich was with me during my visit! I went in to have several teeth removed and the care taken in regards to my anxiety, included being provided with specific room placement (the view was just AMAZING and helped tremendously), extra time spent during the appointment (to cover documents, provide water, cool face towel and constant communication regarding what was happening), and an atmosphere (music, lighting) that was comforting, clean, and calm. The treatment provided was above and beyond with this team. Exceptional quality of care. I got all of my wisdom teeth taken out here and found it to be a pleasant experience. I went in for a re-rooting (root-canal) and a crown and although I loath any dentist appointment; the work that was done was beyond satisfactory. These guys are so good that I travel from the University District to Des Moines to get my dental work done now!!!! I would recommend this facility as the dentist and staff are absolutely thorough, caring, accommodating and very professional.

So far been a great experience with the Dr doing a retreat of a root canal and also a couple cleanings and several fillings. Would recommend this clinic to others and the staff is great also!

First, I should mention that I have HORRIBLE anxiety. I was dreading coming to get my wisdom teeth removed as the date and time got closer and closer.When I came in, I was instantly aknowledged and welcomed by their receptionist. My insurance was squared away and I was quite a bit early, so they just let me kick back and relax. The waiting room is large and comfy. There is a TV and Magazines. The Doctor and his team are so friendly, the view (depending on the room) is amazing on a bright blue day, and the doctor was fast, super gentle, and efficient. Very considerate I might add and hard working. I am so impressed and cannot wait to share with my friends my experience. ❤ If you want it done right and for someone to care, then come here! 😊

Incredible experience with Dental Specialty Clinic. I was referred to them for 2 broken teeth that had gotten infected and caused excruciating pain. They got me in same day Monday morning which, was fantastic since I had been in pain all weekend. From the moment I walked in it was only 5 minutes before I was in a chair with topical in my mouth waiting to numb the area.The Doctor and his assistant were extremely friendly and personable. They really put you at ease during such a stressful procedure. Doctor took alot of concern to ensure there was no pain at all. I was impressed that they took the time to x-ray once again at the end of the procedure to ensure that all pieces were removed.I very much enjoyed the view from the room I was in as well. I was in the corner room which features a great view of the water. Watching the Jets flying bye from Sea-Tac was a great calming addition as well!

Went in for a root canal and I would say I was extremely satisfied! No pain during the procedure whatsoever and after a couple days I felt as good as new! Would definitely recommend! Friendly and helpful staff as well!

Finding a dentist that took my insurance was hard. When I called dental specialty I was greeted with up beat positive vibes. I was seriously in an out. They cared about how I was feeling and made sure to ask if I was ok during the process of getting my wisdom teeth removed. They made sure that I did not feel any pain during the procedure. Came in to have my wisdom teeth removed , after having a bad previous experience with a different doctor everyone understood how nervous I was and were very comforting from all ends the front staff the back staff and specially the doctor. I was very numb and the dr let me know when we were almost done coaching me through the procedure. I was given pain medication which I never had to take I was on Motrin for 2 days , with minimal swelling I love this doctor and have told my entire family to go and see him! I will be back for more dental work when I can be. This office is amazing and the assistants are very personable and easy going. Best dental experience I have ever had!

Awesome place. Went in there for my upper wisdom teeth to be removed due to a lot pain. Literally felt like I was in there for 30min took one pain pill and by the 2nd day I literally forgot I had my wisdom teeth removed. Definitely will be back for my two lower wisdom teeth. Dental speciality clinic was the first dentist I went to since my last bad experience at my last dentist. I came to get my wisdoms extracted and I was scared at first because of all the pain I was in but Dr. Verraich and his assistant assured me they will numb me and I won’t feel pain. My visit went better then I expected and I was surprised how fast he finished my wisdom extractions. I will be coming back to get a crown and I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

I had a really great experience at this office. The space is new and clean, the treatment rooms have lovely views, and the assistants are all really friendly. Dr. Verraich was gentle with the needle when injecting the novocaine (often the worst part), explained to me what failed in my 10 year old root canal, and took his time to make sure my root canal re-treat was thoroughly cleaned. He made sure to check in with me throughout the procedure and has a calming, caring, patient energy. Very personable staff, great dental care, and they take my insurance!

Dont go here. I went in for a small cavity filling and they screwed it up big time. After 2 months I am still in pain and its irritating as before whenever I chew my food. The filling was so big that it is touching the nerve on that tooth and causing pain. These people are highly incompetent, do not go here.

My daughter was very worried about being able to feel something for her wisdom tooth removal. After not having very good experience with other dentist. Dr. Kulwanta went above and beyond to make sure she would feel nothing and made sure she knew it was ok to speak up if anything was felt! While booking wisdom teeth extraction I specified I needed multiple removed and one was a complicated case which I was advised would need more than just local for pain. They scheduled me for an appointment and less than 24 hours contacted me again saying the block they scheduled me wasnt actually open and we rescheduled. In addition, on the morning of the second appointment I confirmed the time with the office yet a few hours before the appointment I got multiple calls saying if I didnt get there 2 hours earlier I wouldnt be seen at all. Ironically they have an $85 late cancellation policy for less than 24 hours notice yet had no problem telling me less than 3 hours to an appointment that if I didnt get there as fast as possible it wouldnt happen. On top of that I learned they not only have no option for sedation, but that if I wanted nitrous, which my insurance explicitly covers for wisdom teeth, they would charge me $100 for reasons they didnt specify. The receptionist then told me nitrous is just for nervous people anyways and told me that I could get as much local as the dentist thinks is necessary.I feel as though I made the right choice walking out the door, the double standards with how poorly they value your time, unprofessionalism during this process, and attempts at getting paid twice by me and my insurance makes me concerned for the quality of the care I would have received. I wouldnt risk sitting in that chair, and I certainly wouldnt recommend a business which shows so little respect for your time and greed at finding ways to charge patients extra.

Firstly, I’m a freak-a-zoid about teeth.. my anxiety gets high, i get really uncomfortable and emotional during visits to any dentist.. and i barely disclosed that when i came to this wonderful place. I’m 5.5 months pregnant and got turned down by 5 different dentist including mine before they agreed to see me here. I needed two wisdom teeth extracted and with my nervous condition would’ve liked to be put to sleep.. but carrying a baby i was only allowed to be given certain meds and etc.. the kind dentist was so gentle with me and painless, he took about 7 minutes to extract two whole wisdom teeth after he numbed me up. They were very nice and kind, including my wait time in the lobby i was barely there 40 minutes... thank you again you guys💋-Chrissy T.

This place was horrible. They left stitches in my mouth which my skin is growing over. I called on Friday and was sent straight to voice mail, I left my message and number but they still didnt answer me as soon as they can as they stated in their recorded message. Its now Monday and I still have no contact from them what so ever I called again still being polite but the same thing happened I was sent straight to voice mail. The service to their patients is horrible, why have two people at the front desk to answer phones if they cant even do that.

Great location The building along with office was very clean and The doctor was professional and very friendly something u dont always get plus the staff was very nice and didnt keep u waiting

I made an appointment and went in had X-rays and cleaning done. After they told me that I needed some work and they had to send a pre-authorization to my insurance a couple weeks went by and I received a notice from the insurance that it was denied because the x-rays were not sufficient and low-quality , I proceeded to call them for two weeks straight with no answer back except the last time the one girl answered and said the manager forgot finally after the second week I got through with the manager and she said my insurance denied the claim and that was that very rudely and she acted like she resubmitted everything that was needed when I called the insurance they said she did not and they called her and she openly admitted that she made a mistake and was trying to call me to go back by this point I already had another appointment. The Dental Specialty Clinic was billing my insurance for three crowns. When I went to the newnew dentist I was told I never needed the crowds in the first place but just a few fillings.

Very friendly I love how they are all about the patient and really pay attention to what the problem is and acuatly care about your teeth they made sure I was comfortable before I got my tooth extracted and made sure I couldnt feel it and got it done fast

Everyone was very friendly, informative and professional! Doctor Verraich was professional, polite, friendly and is VERY good at extracting teeth!He ensured I was totally numb before we started for my 2 upper wisdom teeth and a broken upper 2nd left bicuspus extraction. Each tooth took 2-5 mins! I was in and out in 35 mins! If you need dental surgery, go here!

The office in DesMoines never answeres their phone! I had work done last year there and it was great but now I need to go back in for some problems with my teeth that were worked on but all I get is the voicemail....All day!

It was a great place to go, the doctor was awesome and i wasnt as nervous going after meeting him.
