The girl cutting my hair clearly had no idea what I was talking about when I told her what I wanted and when she cleaned up my neck (with a straight razor) she dug so deep it hurt and was raw and red for a week!

Really clean, quick service and super friendly. My boys needed haircuts and the stylish was very respectful and asked them directly what they wanted and kept checking in with them throughout the process to make sure they were happy. It was so great to see, they walked out feeling like a million bucks.

All the girls are really friendly. Lynn does a fantastic job cuting my hair. Jenna has cut my hair in the past and Im very pleased with her as well. Every trip into the Salon in Derry is a pleasant experience ☺

Friendly staff, great service. 4 out of 5 stars only because of the typical franchise assembly line production feeling you get from places like this. Otherwise I would give 5.

Rude staff. I had not even left the store before the stylist talked about me to her coworker. Usually I don’t care and mind my own business l, but don’t be rude to your client in front of them.

Heidi was outstanding! My five-year old is fearful of hair cuts, but Heidi made it a great experience for her. She even styled and cut her Barbie dolls, too, so she would stay calm during the hair cut. So appreciative of the extra care! On-line check-in meant there was almost no wait, and very reasonable prices, too. Totally great experience!

Always good hair cuts

I always get self-conscious when I go into hair salons, every stylist has an opinion about hair- its too thick, too thin, not the right style for your face shape, the color is bad, etc. It had gotten worse now that Im taking chemo so Ive put off going to a salon in a while.. my hair REALLY needed a cut so I stopped into this Great Clips location on my way home from work and met Meg(I think thats her name, petite woman with short curly red/brown hair) and she was AMAZING! Right from my check in she was super friendly, I had explained to her I was wanting to cut my hair shoulder length, cut a little layer in it and fix the bangs (I had gone to another great clips and the woman there didnt blend them), she was so nice, honestly kept me laughing the whole time I was there- she was hilarious with her stories, her personality was just great! I didnt feel rushed at all and was completely satisfied with how healthy my hair looked, the length was exactly what I asked for, it was everything I wanted. I would highly recommend her to anyone who goes there, shes fantastic!

Just an assembly line. Don’t take the time to make the haircut great. When the place is busy they get you in, and out. Spend the money and take the time to go to a salon or barber. Especially if your livelihood depends on your appearance.

Lynn gave me a delightful shampoo and Johns cut had my coworkers complimenting me all morning. Great job!

I always take my son and daughter here for hair cuts the reason why the 3 🌟 is because if you dont do the online check in prepared yourself for a long wait time. The people working there are very friendly and good at what they do.

I’m giving 3 stars because a few of their stylists have cut my son’s hair really well, we were generally happy with GC’s and the prices. However, his stylist last night either didn’t know what she was doing or had a WHOOPS and didn’t say anything about it and just combed his hair over it. My son noticed this morning as he was getting ready for school. He was completely mortified and panicked at the thought of going to school. Of course we can brush it over until it grows out, but this is a heads up for those looking for cut in parts!

Very disappointed in customer service today. Arrived before closing 5:45 and was denied a quick haircut for my son. There Was a available hairdresser and the other lady (maybe manager) finishing up. No customers, waiting. I was very polite regardless of the frustration of rushing home from work to get my son a haircut for school tomorrow and being turned away. As management in retail I was shocked in the lack of customer service. Had there been people waiting I would of understood. They’ve unfortunately lost a good customer. Not to mention I Witnessed them also lock the door behind me, before 6pm!

I of fan of the efficiency. I check in with the app, arrive when Im at the top of the list, and get my haircut. No waiting around reading old magazines. For years I avoided them in favor of local places but they are too inconvenient. being open past 5:00 p.m. is what finally did it for me and havent looked back.

Im not sure why my rating was originally 2 stars, as I didnt even review great clips. My phone must be starting to turn on me. I had a pleasant experience here and will be returning.

You now need to check online so you have an idea of where you are in queue of waiting. If you walk in I am not sure if they will check you in. It could be a couple of hours wait. This is in Derry NH location. Not sure if other locations are doing this. They call your name when ready. I am not sure if you can request the same person that usually does your hair.

Went for a trim stylist (man)complained even before i sat down saying he wished he could be home on couch, did not ask if i wanted hair washed, when taking of cape shook off in front of me hair flying in my face. Very unprofessional

They charged my daughter 46 dollars for a wash , trim and blowdry, but neglected to tell her that it would be an extra 25 dollars, just for the blow dry!! Total ripoff!!! No hair stylist that Ive ever been to charges that much. And the whole deal took only 25 minutes. Taking advantage of people is not a way to build business.

Wait wasnt too long but cut wasnt great. Too busy. The girls are forced to give haircuts in 20 minutes. Hit or miss on quality depending on which hairdresser you get.

I have been here 4 times twice for me and twice for my daughter. Its really hit or miss. Check in online is nice. They really do rush and I dont like that. Brought my daughter in last week she has long thick hair the girl rushed and her hair is clearly unevenly cut! One side is a good 2 inches longer. Im very disappointed. She didnt even part her hair I had to ask her to use the comb to fix it. They where not even busy she could of slowed down a bit n made sure it was even n looked good.

The staff is wonderful, never feels rushed, and you really feel welcomed.

So done. They give you such a hard time for walk ins and try their hardest to get you to leave. But when you stay it ends up being the normal 10 minute wait. They just REALLY try to make you not wait.Go an hour before they close and the screen is full of fake names. They enter them so when you go online they look busy and you dont bother going.Online check in is the worst thing ty o ever happen to this place. They abuse the system.

So rude. I came to get a haircut and it says they accept walk ins. As soon as I walked in the door I was basically yelled at because I didn’t check in (didn’t know I had to, it says walk ins welcome!) and they were at a 2 hour wait time with ONE person sitting in the waiting area. I’ll never go there again!!

Horrible. After declining to give them my address, I over heard one of the employees say rude things about me. I am sorry that I dont want to give out my information. I proceeded to walk out. I would not want someone who says mean things about me to then cut my hair. For all I know she would purposely give me a bad hair cut to put me in my place. Be warned!
