Jimmy has been doing my nails for 8 years now and I love everything he has done for me, he’s always up for a challenge and does amazing, his wife also does amazing pedicures. All my friends and family go to Gelous nails and all of them come from different towns! I highly recommend them!

Gelous nails is absolutely AMAZING!!!! I will and have recommended them to everybody! The owners are so nice and the quality of the nails is astronomical. Each of these sets will last me between three and four weeks. If you’re looking for a new place to go to get your nails done I highly highly recommend it!!!

Not bad, not great. Staff was friendly and welcoming. (Im the jerk who showed up 20 minutes before they closed, I realized as I walked in. They were very nice and took me anyway.) This was THE fastest mani Ive ever had. I got a French shellac, with a design. Personally, I appreciate artists who free-hand designs. Mine was stamped on - SUPER fast and cool, but zero talent required. The manicure itself was pretty basic. My favorite part is the hand massage, and that lasted 10 seconds each hand - no exaggeration. As far as shaping goes, my nails are SUPER short, and he definitely did the best with what he had. My nail edges are not smooth, though, and he didnt adequately clean my nails between coats. (Nor, for that matter, did he actually get off ALL the old shellac!) I expect it will be peeling off within two weeks. And then Ill be trying other shops in Derry.

Got my Acrylics done by Andy, he did a wonderful job. Im in cosmology, I learned the process and Procedure to keep a clean and sanitize station. Andy Is friendly, he is gentle with everything, highly recommend!!

I’ve had my nails done here 5 times now ( full set with gel polish ) as well as fills and a gel pedi. I am super happy with whatever service I get done, they do a wonderful job and both the girls are super nice & talented! Love Gelous nails

Amazing designs and details not too pricey

I have been coming here almost a year every 2-3 weeks. Brought my friends here and recommended them to everyone because I thought they did a good job. I always get dip powder on my natural nails. Well this last time I got my nails done (Sat 2/16) I got the dip powder on like I always do... I felt like the base was done a little thinner then usual but I didn’t say anything...but I should of. Monday 2/18 night...two of my nails busted when I was opening my car door. No big deal except with my work schedule I wouldn’t of been able to make it til this Friday 2/22. When I called this morning 2/19 and explained the situation they were very rude to me on the phone once I said I needed them fixed and told me they only had 630 available which is a half hour before they closed Friday. I was not able to make that time. I find it odd that I usually call two days in advance to set up my appointment and they can fit me in for the time I ask... but all of a sudden I need something fixed that would take 20 minutes at most and they didn’t have time for me and offered no other solution. It’s a little disappointing especially because I have been a loyal client for almost a year since I started getting my nails done and you would think they would want to keep clients coming back.Normally they do a great job on my nails but the customer service has not been up to par.Unfortunately I will be trying out a different nail salon and will not be returning to this one.

I had my nails done by Andy on Black Friday and he did a great job! He was very personable and friendly! He is highly recommended. My manicure looked fabulous even 3 weeks later!

Let me start by saying that Ive never had my nails done before. This place was suggested by my mother, who goes here all the time. I worked with Andy, who was fantastic. His work came out very well, and he struck light conversation with me. I personally work in customer service, so good service is very important to me. Will definitely be coming back, maybe for a pedicure next time. It was a very pleasant experience overall.

The place was clean and the staff was nice however, I asked for my nails to be square and they filled them to a point. Very unhappy with the outcome.

First time Ive ever had a manicure. I will definitely be going back, it was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Called Gelous Nails, made an appointment for 230pm. Showed up at 2:22pm, said I called and have an appt. for myself and my daughter for 230pm. The lady never addressed me directly and spoke in her native tongue to another female co-worker and began laughing. Several other people came in after myself and my daughter. One woman was addressed directly and was serviced immediately, seemed to have an issue with her nail that needed to be fixed, that is understandable. Then they took another woman before us. This is now 20 minutes past appointment time and NEVER once was I spoken to directly, until my daughter and I got up to leave. Will NEVER return, they were so rude and unprofessional.

Great nail salon!!! Clean and efficient. The nail artists are skilled and pleasant and remember exactly the way I like my nails. Ive been going there since it opened. I totally recommend Gelous Nails.

I have been coming here for 5 years now and will never be returning after my recent visit. To start, the owner did not have my appointment written down when I had called 2 days prior to make sure my friend and I could get in. He acted like he didnt know me and didnt believe that I made an appointment but they took us anyways. Next, a state inspection lady came in and the owner asked me and my friend to go outside while she did the inspection. My friend was very upset and said no to waiting outside. By the time the inspection lady had left, we had waited half an hour and my friend decided not to get her pedicure done. As I am getting my fill, the technician tells me one of my hands needs a new set when I just got them on there two weeks prior. I said no to a new set because I wasnt paying for another one. I didnt get the shape I wanted and I feel that my acrylics are too thin. As I was checking out I said we are going somewhere else to get our pedicure done and that I was very upset about how we were treated, especially where I have been a long time client. The owner gave my friend a gift certificate for the troubles but didnt give me one. I am upset to say I will never ever go back to Gelous Nails due to this experience being my last straw with them and I have brought them a lot of business and got no appreciation for it.

So I wws referred to here by a friend. Their work product looked excellent, so I made an attempt to call and make an appointment. I regularly get my nails done elsewhere, and due to a power outage, I had to go somewhere else. My entire town is without power. Anyway, I tried calling three times.... It went straight to voicemail, where it said you could hold and wait for someone to pick up, or leave a voicemail, but you couldn’t leave a voicemail for an appointment. I arrived here at about 11am, as a walk-in because no one could answer a phone. I walked in, spoke to a man that told me no appointments were available and that I had to call FIVE days in advance. If that is the case, that’s fine, but you might want to ACTUALLY have someone answer the phone when people call. I drove almost an hour up here, just to be denied at the door. This is poor customer service. If you require people to make an appointment, then make sure someone answers the phone!

Friendly staff, who always do an excellent job. Theyre very creative, and will help you come up with ideas if you want decorative nails. I wont go anywhere else now.

The girls did an awesome job on my pedicure, but I was very disappointed in the limited color selections and the massage chair I was in was horrible. Didnt even feel like I got a massage.

The techs always do a nice job with my gel manicure. They take their time, and arent usually in a rush to finish your nails even when its busy. Friendly and welcoming staff. I recommend it over all the other nail salons in Derry.

Was wanting a pedicure today and my fav place was booked.. So I tried Gelous Nails. The wait was short and the basic pedicure was great. No complaints. Very pleased with my choice.

I always go here - Ive tried out a couple different places in the area and nothing compares to Gelous. Staff are so friendly and nails dont lift even after three weeks!! Love it

Recently moved to the area in search of a nail salon to fix and maintain my acrylics which have been butchered trying to find a consistant spot.I made an appointment and they started working on my nails [polish off and started filling] and then told me I needed a full new set instead of a fill so they could start from the beginning. I agreed and then told me they didnt want to work on them at all. No attempt at all to provide a solution for my nails and that was the reason for me coming to them.Extremely disappointed with the customer service and how they didnt even try and find a solution.

Great place! Great people! Great prices! Great product! 3 weeks laters and still not lifting or having any issues with my tips. Hoping to get in for a fill this week,

Loved it here! Do not want to go anywhere else for for a pedicure! The girls actually talk to you, joke with you, and are super sassy, my kind lof ladies!

Will never go here again. Was a walk in client and asked for a pedicure and gel manicure. Did the pedicure and from start to finish it was about 10 minutes. I used to bite my nails due to anxiety and recently was able to break the habit. My nails have grown and yes although they were still short, they were able to be manicured. The ladies took one look at my nails and were all giggling and making fun of me for biting my nails. I was so embarrassed and stated that I do not anymore and that they have grown and they all looked at me as if they didn’t believe me. Correct me if I’m wrong but that’s not how you keep a customer coming back AT ALL. Very disrespectful and not welcoming at all. The lady ended up refusing to polish my nails and did a lousy job of a “manicure” after she topped it off with a clear polish. She even left some bits of my shellac gel I had previously on still on my nails. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. This is a shame since I heard such nice reviews here and my own experience sucked. Will never reccomend anyone here. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Rating this a 5 so people read it. Dirty and rude. They dont clean their pedicure tubs between clients. Nor do they sanitize any of their manicure tools. Received a nail infection after going. They are also extremely rude.
