What a great experience. Expecting my surgery to be traumatic and the reality was the opposite. Dr Dennis was wonderful. From initial consultation, actual surgery and follow ups Dr Dennis was extremely professional, personable, forthright and engaging. I couldn’t have had a better experience for hip surgery. The support staff and hospital staff were great. No concern of mine was left unaddressed by the folks responsible for my care. I just can’t say enough for this experience in a positive manner.

I had one hip replaced in 2008 - so 13 years ago. Dr. Dennis changed my life, and I am so grateful for him and his entire team at Colorado Joint Replacement. My quality of life and the ability to walk without pain for these past years have been priceless.I try to do periodic checkups with Dr. Dennis because I have a metal-on-metal implant, and they aren’t used anymore - but mine is holding up great, thank God! Dr Dennis is Top Shelf. Staff excellent. Facility excellent. Very thorough examination, detailed explanation of every element of my knee issue, detailed suggestions for non-surgicial improvement and detailed information about best mechanical device should another surgery be necessary.Negative comments I read from disgruntled patients were completely refuted by my visit. Dr Dennis is highly trained, highly rated by fellow surgeons and accolades display his renown reputation.Add the technical data to his great bedside manner and you will find a very nice man good at fixing knee and hip problems. I believe he and his staff are an excellent choice for replacement. You believe you can trust them.👍

Dr. Doug Dennis is a true blessing. He has saved my husbands life and now been there to look at my knee. He is patient and kind with a generosity that cannot be compared.

Dr. Dennis replaced my left hip this summer. He did my right hip and knee 10 years ago. Its just been 6 weeks, but im already able to go on 4 mile walks around the lake. Ive done about 4,000 miles of hiking since the first 2 replacements. The replacements are allowing me to live my life to the fullest.I am deeply appreciative for dr. Dennis and his entire team...they do great work, and are great to work with.

Dr. Dennis is a fine surgeon and a great human being. He just performed knee replacement surgery on my left knee and the outcome has been great. (He replaced my right knee ten years ago and it is still doing great. That’s why I had him do my left knee.) I could not be happier. He also has a great staff from Jim Boyle to Francisca to everyone who works with him at Colorado Joint Replacement. He gave me back the quality of life I was hoping for. I am very grateful.

From the receptionist to the end of our appointment everyone was kind, professional and caring.Dr. Dennis is very thorough, explains everything, he makes sure you understand and answers any questions that you might have.Francisca, his Medical Assistant is very organized , courteous, and helpful. They make an excellent team. She always goes above our expectations.There was an excellent radiologist technician. He was very personal. He made you very comfortable, very sociable. I didnt catch his name. He has blonde highlights in his hair and its cut on the sides. Hes the best radiology technician, Ive ever had. He loves his job and shows it.. I hope he gets five stars himself.. He has traveled He came from California hasnt been in Colorado too long..The Internalist was very informative. He taught us a lot . I am going to have my second knee replacement at the end of Feb. Dr Dennis and his team replaced my left knee in June 2020. At 65 I feel like a kid again. With my right knee being replaced I know there will be NO holding me down once that’s done. Dr Dennis and his FANTABULOUS TEAM cover everything! Pre and Post surgery, unlike any other Ortho Clinic. And I checked into a couple different ones before I made my decision. I have Friends and acquaintances who have gone elsewhere and are not happy with their outcomes.

I had a left hip replaced in 2001 with a new cross linked polyethylene socket. It has far outperformed my expectations. I went in this month for an 18 year check. The hip is still in great shape. Dr. Dennis and his staff were great. I am extremely blessed to have them as a resource.

I had both knees replaced by Dr. Dennis and both were successful although the post op physical therapy was ever so painful. My best advice is to just do what the Dr. and his great assistant, Francesca, tell you to do both before and after surgery. They make a great Team!

Amazing doctor. Got my husband thru an incredible new knee. He installed 600 square feet of new flooring on his new knee with no pain within 6 months! Best medicsl decision hes ever made was to replace his knee with Dr. Dennis.

I would never consider using Dr Dennis again after my TKR was found with a defective part the ATTUNE Depuy tibal head. After a period of time I started having more and more problems. I had to have a revision surgery done and my new doctor has seen 15 of these cases. Dennis was totally dimissed my issue after I waited 2 1/2 to see him. He is involved with the design of Depuy knees and is not admitting issues. I had lots of pain and range of motion issues, that might not show in xray or bone scan but it was totally loose. Do not use Dennis or the Depuy Attune product.

Had 3 joint replacements with Dennis. Successful hips; nightmare knee due to tourniquet used during surgery that left me with neuropathy, plus scar tissue that developed, leaving me with a painful and barely bendable knee. Both probably not Denniss fault, but his attitude was uncaring. He told me in his office that he accepted the tourniquet diagnosis from my neurologist, then when I applied for long-term care insurance, told the insurance company he thought the cause was my terrible spine. Needless to say, no long-term care insurance. Extremely arrogant, unethical man who is probably technically good. If you can stand him. I had all my records sent elsewhere and do not intend to see this man ever again. He takes no responsibility and has an extremely false sense of his own importance. He screwed me and could not care less.
