Great Doctor and very caring staff highly recommend him very caring great cardiologist

Incompetent staff and careless totally indifferent doctor. I needed a pacemaker installed and on Tuesday Carida supposedly made an appointment for me at the electrophysiologist for Friday. I called on Wednesday to verify and at first the staff claimed it had been done but when I checked it had never been scheduled. When I tried to call Caridas office on Wednesday afternoon it was onswered by an answering service and I never got a call back. I found another cardiologist that afternoon and I got scheduled for Friday operation .Btw his office is a quite shabby--like him

I have to say, it is very rare that I meet a doctor that I like and trust. Right off the bat I could tell I liked Dr. Carida and trusted his advice. He didnt rush me and discussed everything I wanted to. The other reviews must be fake because reading them they almost made me cancel my appointment. Im very happy I didnt. Thank you Dr. Carida!

I’m not sure if my problem is with the Dr. or his staff. There’s a serious lack of compassion, concern and competence. My mother had an echocardiogram over 3 weeks ago. She’s been calling the office since then. All she gets is a run around from the rude receptionists and a promise of a return call. No return call has come and the people answering the phone clearly don’t care. Who knows, he may be a good doctor, maybe not. We’ll never know for sure since we can’t speak to him.I would definitely recommend avoiding the aggravation of dealing with this incompetent group!

Dr Carida is an excellent cardiologist. I had a heart attack on a Saturday afternoon and Dr Carida arrived at the hospital in record time to perform my catherization and insert 3 stents. I have been going to him for 8 years .

At One time he may have been a good doctor, however now 2017 the worst doctor to EVER be allowed to practice medicine. Sadly he takes Medicare my mother has been in the hospital for three weeks out of the entire month. I’ve called him 20 times in five days, the nurses have called and paged him over 30 times in five days, and still no one Has heard from him. My mother has had many heart surgeries and many strokes he has never once checked her corartied arteries once in 15 years of having him as her surgeon since 2003. As I sit here in the hospital again waiting for him to call me since Friday it is now Monday afternoon we still have not seen him nor has he called the hospital to help with both arteries blocked. I am trying to be her patient advocate but I’m so distressed with his lack of responsibility and respect has me at wits end. She had to have emergency surgery due to blocked arteries and is now back on hospital with no response from him. Please do yourself a favor and not use him. There’s a reason he has a 1.9 out of 5 rating. Thank God for all the other Dr trying to help best they can, but without him we can’t get her help. We can’t change Dr either because of ethics. I guess a lawyer is the next call I will make.

I have been with Dr. Carida for 10 years. He is a wonderful cardiologist with a great staff and I trust him implicitly with my care and the care of my husband.

Dr. Carida may be an excellent doctor, but he does not return phone calls to me or to my mother’s other doctors.

Not sure what happened with the last review but that is not the Dr. Carida that treats me. He literally spent hours stenting my heart where another doctor completely messed up a by-pass. The nurses in the cardio unit rave about him and that should tell you something right there.

I f you have a bad heart and not ready to die yet contact Dr Carida. I was misdiagnosed 3 times and if it were not for seeing Dr Carida I would be dead. He checked me out and immediatly sent me to the emergency room and hours later had a stent put in a blocked artery. I was in a hospital, did an ultrasound at an imaging center and my primary did an ekg and they all missed it. Thank you Dr Carida for saving my life and being the experienced cardiogenius that you are.
