So professional yet so compassionate! This man is a God send to cardiology patients! Low key and straightforward while not intimidating!Asks simple questions for big issues which you can answer without hesitation. Explained my condition and the path to recovery with great concern and confidence. Dr. Cardenas has my complete Confidence! He is truly an advocate of the patient. I would walk 100 miles for his expertise!I have not been this impressed with a medical person in 9 years since my grandson’s cranio surgeon!

My experience the previous 3 visits have been good. The staff is pleasant, and Dr. Cardenas has been patient, answers questions, and allows you to share opinions and decisions about your care. He was my Mom’s physician for 5 years prior to her passing and treated her respectfully and was cheerful when engaging with her at age 91. Personal choice and perception are individual pieces of your evaluation of a Physician, but for now and the foreseeable future I will stick with this group.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Cardenas. He takes as much time as both he and I need to answer my questions and fully explain my concerns. I feel as if I’m having a conversation with a good friend. He is a top notch cardiologist.

Found Dr Cardenas very involved...asked the appropriate questions that put him familiar w/my problem...He was pleasant & had a good demeanor. The staff was on the ball...had a bit of a wait but not so long that it was annoying! I have tests etc soon 2 be performed..if surgery is required...I feel confident in Dr Cardenas.

Arriving for first afternoon appointment made for 1PM before 1 and waiting until 1:20 before seeing doctor seemed a little extreme, but liked the doctors care

Dr Cardenas is always personable, goes over your medical records in detail and takes his time to explain in non medical language your concerns. The office staff is welcoming, greets you upon arrival and is very courteous.

I took my elder mom to this office because she saw DrRuiz at the hospital and he said to come and see him, I could not schedule with him but saw Dr. Cardenas he was wery polite until also his nurse until the front seat got involved had the worse experience with the office manager and other front desk staff. They also make jokes and laugh at patient when husband said his wife was feeling sick mentally and physically.They dont respect the elder. And when I told them I was going to report their behavior the didnt care. Could not get the medical records for mom.On my way out patients told me that they had similar problem but they didnt have anyone to stand up for them.Very bad staff.

I thought the Doctor was very nice, honest. The office staff was a bit harsh, obviously busy. Looking forward to a plan of action that will help my medical condition.

Had to wait awhile but Dr Cardenas always takes his time with each patient and he’s worth the wait. He saved my life 14 months ago when I had a heart attack. I ended up in the emergency room at 1130 pm & Dr C had just left for the night. He returned and cheerfully reamed out my congested valves & inserted 2 stents. I have no damage to my heart & he has monitored me since then. His PA is Sahvetre (not sure of the spelling) & is personable, warm, friendly and experienced. Highly recommend him, her & theStaff.

Yesterday April 14/2021, I saw Dr. Gustavo Cardenas because the monitor implanted in me a week ago sensored an anormality in my heart ( my heart stopped working for 5 seconds last Sunday around 4:00 PM).I remembered a surge of my blood pressure that went up to my brain and felt that my hearing jolt, I felt awful those 5 seconds, but since I recovered my normal state, I did not make of this incident an important health issue.I mentioned that that Sunday night my stomach was full of acid and onMonday morning I vomited several times and got rid of all the acid andI slept that day for 3 hours at daylight.After May the 3 rd , when I will have the TEE procedure in the Delray Medical Center, to check my heart valve function, Dr. Gustavo Cardenas recommended me to see Dr. Yoel Vivas to find out if I need a pacemaker.I thank very much Dr. Gustavo Cardenas for his excellent care of me and my heart !!!!!!

Dr. Cardenas walked in the exam room and greeted me with a big smile. At that moment my anxieties were calmed. During the exam / discussion he was very attentative, communicated very well and in a way so that I could better understand the information. This was my first visit with him and when I left his office I was very, very happy that I was referred to him by my Primary Care Doctor.

Dr. Cardenas is a fine doctor but I was scheduled for a telemed conference at 1:30, received 5 phone calls the day before to remind me and now 40 minutes after the scheduled time I have not heard from the office. I can not get thru to speak to anyone at the office either. Lack of respect for patients time is a deal killer.

Amazing cardiologist! Dr. Cardenas has had to do multiple procedures on my mother and has always had her best interest, he has been proactive and been ahead of the game with her. She is diabetic and has several other medical conditions and he has not only found cardiac issues but has determined other issues and directed us to the proper specialist. My mother feels so comfortable with him as she primarily speaks Spanish and he is fully bilingual. And he has given me the peace of mind from day one that she is in the right hands. There simply are not enough good things I could say about him and his practice!

This is the best cardiologist practice That has been around in a long time , I would love to have them around if I get sick again because one of his doctor saved my life. Dr Cárdenas had been busy one time when I came but still took the time to make me feel as if I was the only patient there. Awful experience. The office had set up an appointment for ultrasound. Got a call the day before changing my date, when I show up to the appointment they didn’t have no record of my appointment and now, Instead of trying to fix the situation they try to blame on me. I’m very very disappointed, don’t try to blame YOUR mistakes on somebody else. Once again very unprofessional stay away.

I went to Dr Cardenas for heart palpitations that woke me up at night. I was put on a beta blocker, when I had issues with the pills I tried calling the office. Left several messages with one his nurse’s voicemail...had to go thru the front office to receive a call backDr Cardenas also wanted to put me on a tilt table, when I explained I have positional vertigo and cannot be laid flat or tilted he said he cannot so anything else for me and referred me to cardiac electrophysiologist who changed my meds immediately

He doesn’t have the medical sensitivity, looks like he works for money, he doesn’t pay attention to his patients.And the Dr who work for him on call (02-16-19) was so rude and nasty Dr Ruiz he didn’t want to listen, he didn’t let me talk about my concern only he told me hurry up I have a lot calls to answer . What kind of Dr is this man???And if something happens to me they are going to be envolved in a big problem. I am very high blood pressure and I need care.
