I see Dr. Awaida more than five years. He is knowledgeable top cardiologist. He takes decisive actions even at very mild symptoms, if necessary. His office staff members are very well trained and dedicating. I highly recommend him.

Excellent Doctor. Kind, compassionate, knowledgeable.Staff is awful. Front desk is a confused mess. Tried to charge me thousands for my deductible instead of co-pay to see the Doctor.Made an appointment for two tests at the office and booked me on a day that they only do one. Had to take off work again for the following week ad insisted on double co-pay.Makes appointments to acquire necessary test forms so again it needs to be two co-pays. To top it off, they have a very bad attitude.Seriously wish this guy could get a competent and orderly front of house... I really like the Doctor!!

Very attentive, compassionate doctor. He is patient, doesnt rush the appointment and is very helpful in easing worries. I came back for an echo cardiogram while he was away, and another doctor sat with me for over 5 minutes calmly discussing my halter monitor results after the echo was complete. Very appreciative of their help, and happy with their service.I have to alter my review slightly because the last impression in his office left me very disappointed. Ive been worried about my heart and as I mentioned before, had an echo and a halter monitor. I was promised results Mon or Tues the following week and never heard back. Eventually, I called on Friday afternoon and was very casually informed (after waiting on hold for 15min) that the results looked good. I expressed my frustration that Id literally waited and worried all week for results and at any point, she could have called me to say two words. Obviously, Im not the only patient. I totally understand. A cardiologists front office, however, should be held at a higher standard to respond to their patients with follow up quickly when dealing with such a high priority and important body part.Aside from that, they also forgot about me when I first visited the office because they crossed my name off by accident. I was in the waiting room for over an hour before someone asked have you been helped?To reiterate, the doctor is absolutely fantastic. The front office however, needs to be more on the ball with their responsibility to follow up with patients.
